- stephenmC5777RD (4/5): Great location and staff but.............. - Booking and reception experience were the highlight of this stay. We were allocated room 701 which had great ocean front views however that is where the positives end. We were able to access the room via sliding a credit card or piece of cardboard through the door jam and slipping the lock. The door was broken. The room safe did not work and the toilet and vanity sink both had water running out of them onto the bathroom floor which we could not stop. The towels, hand towels and bath mat were all covered in what appeared to be oil stains. Lastly the breakfast consisted of a half cooked one egg omelette with a 3 day old Banh Mi and a small bottle of water. No juice or coffee. Could not recommend this property to anyone.

- miriamkuster (6/5): Very average experience - The room was okay but ours was situated near the lift, which kept on being super noisy all night long. The staff seemed indifferent and the breakfast was underwhelming. Our conclusion is that you can probably do better hotel wise. On the very same street there are a plenty of other hotels worth checking out. Location is great but surroundings are very much geared towards the Russian demographic!
- DanielRCoker (6/5): Average, but better available nearby... - Probably the best feature of the Sun City Hotel in Nha Trang is it's location. There are about five other hotels on the same road though so it's not an exclusively excellent location. On it's road are many services all in close proximity, including restaurants, shops, massage parlors, etc. The staff are competent and willing to make effort to please. The room was a bit small and has the glass window to the toilet, disconcerting for Westerners (no on wants to be observed in their private moments). The pool was small, with just a couple uncomfortable metal lounge chairs, not really enticing, however, the view from the pool was wonderful. The breakfast was average although they had a wide variety of unusual foods. I'd have to say that although it can be considered worth the money, there are better choices. DRC
- GoCabzGo (8/5): Great Service - Hotel is within walking distance from the beach and night market which is awesome if you are in Nga Trang for a short period of time. Breakfast is fare more okay that what I have expected- I like the verieties of options. I appreciate the gesture given by the hotel staffs for surprising our friend with a birthday cake, may be simple to others but this gesture made us all very happy especially our friend and definitely gave us a positive impression about the hotel. Definitely recommended. ps. they have a nice pool area.

- seeker2020 (8/5): Good Hotel at good location - The hotel is located in a lane and you could miss it on your first trip there. There are also many hotels located in that lane. There are good seafood restaurants around 1 km of the hotel The prices are a bit on the high side. Pro 1) Walking distance to Beach, Night Market and eatery (eatery right in front of hotel) 2) Beers and food available opposite the hotel which are reasonable in price. 3) Mini market located within 5 mins walking distance. 4) Rooms and bathrooms are clean with the usual amenities (coffee making, complimentary water, toothbrush/paste, soap, etc) 5) Safe is available in the room. 6) The receptionist are very helpful despite the limited knowledge of spoken english). 7) Breakfast is good with many varieties 8) Good view of the sea on the rooftop Cons 1) No view from the rooms 2) Located in a lane. May be difficult to locate it for the first time. Overall - A good stay. Will stay there again.
- Hausi1953 (10/5): Great place at good location - The room is clean and tidy, the staff friendli and helpful, from the pool at the roof top you have a wonderful view over the beach and to the island with the Vinpearl funpark. The hotel is a bit hidden in a little street, but easy to find. The breakfast buffet has all it takes.
- Bgittus93 (8/5): Clean room in a central location. - Good clean room with great views from the roof. Fast wifi and great central location. Easy access to rent scooter/ motorbike from reception. Able to leave bags with reception once you had checked out if leaving later that day.
- Måns (6/5): Decent - The hotel was okay, clean, comfy, good location near both the beach and central nha trang. The staff weren't very service minded, but we were at least able to communicate with them properly which we've found not to be the case very often. Overall a decent hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Close to the beach restaurants bars and everything you need. Just a very noisy hotel! Staff banging on your door to clean your room from 8am and guests shouting to each other across the corridor theres not much chance of a lie in! We stayed for 7 nights went for breakfast the first morning but never returned. Quite a few options just all cold and tough as if it had been there for hours and nothing fresh had been brought. They make you fresh omlets or eggs of your choice but put that much oil in the pan its all you can taste. So many amazing restaurants to try i wouldnt waste the time or the breakfast here. There are alot better hotels in the area for the same price. The room was fine clean comfy everything worked just everything else in the hotel wasnt great, i wouldn't stay again.

La colazione a buffet è.anche buona con frutta riso uova ecc.. Tuttavia il personale dell hotel non é il massimo della cortesia. Siamo arrivati alle 6 del mattino e ci hanno fatto aspettare fino alle 14,00 per il check in sebbene abbiam potuto lasciare i bagagli nel hotel. Potevano fare un piccolo sforzo non dico alle 7,00 ma almeno un po' prima. Molto Fiscali. Tutto sommato buon hotel e pulizia non al top sebbene camere pulite nella norma e i complementary ogni giorno.
- Arlenesj (8/5): Vietnam - To all the wonderful staff at this lovely hotel; a big thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this hotel. Our requests were met efficiently with sincere friendly smiles. Upon our arrival my husband and I were met by beaming smiles and a refreshing drink of welcome. As our room was not quite ready we were invited to wait in the pool bar. A member of staff came to us to report our room was ready and to escort us directly to our room where we found our luggage already there. A special thank you to Annie (Customer Relations) who always gave us good advice and assistance. We wish you well for your baby boy when he arrives and rest well. To the staff on reception, Ryan Le and colleagues (sorry didn’t catch all of your names) for dealing with our extension request, problem free and keeping us in the same room. The location of this hotel is really good; situated directly across the road from the Sailing Club and the beach. The Sailing Club is a popular venue for food, drink and music. The hotel has free sun-beds and towels on the beach available for hotel guests. We highly recommend this hotel, the staff and the location.

- yvonnet604 (6/5): Customer service poor - Clean Hotel. Centrally located. Good value for money. Majority of staff however very unhelpful. In particular the door and lobby attendants lounge around the front of the hotel smoking and watching videos on their phone and rudely dismiss any enquiry, with out looking up, with a wave of their hand towards the reception desk. On one occassion i rang reception looking for 2 cups as there were none, and i was told to go to breakfast room and help myself. The behaviour experienced here, is totally uncharacteristic of the many other wonderfully helpful staff in the other hotels we encountered thought out four weeks travelling the country.
- samr453 (2/5): Extremely dissatisfied, disappointed and let down. - Trying to think of something good to say about this place is on the same level as trying to climb Mt. Everest blindfolded. During our 2 night stay we experienced a number of issues. Firstly the staff at the front desk were unattentive and uninterested, we asked for help booking a bus on four separate occasions and not once did they actually do anything about it. Instead they just said “we’ll call you later” or “go back to your room and we’ll call you.” We also booked the hotel with the intentions of unwinding and relaxing by the pool. Upon arrival the pool had been completely drained and emptied without any prior warning or any compensation afterwards. We were told it would be filled back up in a couple of hours but we checked and it wasn’t, and even on our departure two days later it was still empty. There were no toiletries provided in the room at all. Despite being told upon booking their would be shampoo, soap, razors, and all the essentials provided, there was absolutely nothing and only half a roll of toilet paper for a two night stay... During our last morning the fire alarm went off at least six times. When we asked the desk what was going on they said they were testing the fire equipment, but they didn’t bother letting any of the guests or patrons know prior. On top of all this only one elevator was working for the last day of our stay which meant we had to use the stairs to walk all the way up and down from/to the 8th floor. As the one elevator that was working was usually in use. The ‘free’ breakfast was well below average. Would not recommend this place to anyone, at any point, ever...
- christophertdgjubb (8/5): The hotel is good, but securitic "strange" - We would like to thank the owners of the «Sun City Hotel» for the friendly, courteous, caring staff of the «Sun City Hotel»! Unfortunately, we would also like to draw the attention of the owners of the «Sun City Hotel» to the security officer Lê Minh Hiếu. This employee is almost constantly sitting on the pedestal at the entrance staircase to the «Sun City Hotel», playing in the Smartphone and constantly smoking one cigarette after another, resulting in guests entering and leaving the «Sun City Hotel», guests staying in the lobby «Sun City Hotel» (and among them many children) are forced to constantly inhale the toxic tobacco smoke produced by this employee! This employee is very not polite (never welcomes guests of the «Sun City Hotel»), admits a boorish attitude to the guests of the «Sun City Hotel». We witnessed how this employee literally grabbed the guest of the «Sun City Hotel» - elderly gentleman by the hand and pushed the hotel guest - elderly gentleman out of the elevator! It's unprecedented! Summary: it is obvious that this employee must be immediately dismissed! Best regards!

DO NOT book this one unless you want to have a horrible stay!! - First thing first, this hotel has quite decent location, easy to access to famous restaurant in the city and near the night market. Now the nightmare begins, here is some disgusted thing I found just for a few hours: Front Desk: We came at noon and the room is not even ready. Told me to keep my things at lobby with no receipt or whatsoever( I’ve never seen any 3star hotel that works like that) Refused to do that and waited until I could get the room. I was there for half an hour and guess what? I got a room now, but I was shocked by the mouldy smell and everything is still a mess when I get in ( They claim it’s a 3 star but the staff couldn’t even make the bed properly, see the picture and you’ll understand). Extremely fed up by the Front Desk staff, Housekeeping and everyone in this particular hotel. Definately wont come back again. DO NOT waste your money on this one. There are a lot of choices comparison the price.
- lauratC8842HR (4/5): Cheap but poor standard - Little spider / ants were crawling all over the walls / furniture of the hotel room. The breakfast was poor. Mainly consisted of rice and noodles and the coffee and tea were cold. Staff did not speak English at all. Not even to tell us where he cutlery was. Staff did not understand how to scramble eggs. Also there was a loud hammering noise right outside our room at 9:30 in the morning. Probably would not stay here again.
- 145jacquelinel (2/5): Do not book - Where do I start I understand the price for this hotel was very cheap but the photos made it look like it was a fantastic deal As soon as we got there we where shown to a filthy damp smokers room with no window we asked to be moved straight away The worker was not happy he had to put his smoke out to take us up to see another room we where then taken into a room where people where still checked in all there Belongings where there but he didn't care hoped on the phone called down stairs then showed us another room worst than the first I told him there was no way we are staying in that we are going to check out .we went back to reception and the not so friendly girl said they had another room but it was $10 more I didn't care as long as it was clean So off we went again this time the room was a little better thank God no smell But the blind in the shower was filled with mould and the sheets where stained t.v was all blurry but We stayed for the night couldn't be bothered again arguing At 5am it sounded like a Jack hammer next door and music blaring I lasted 15 minutes before I stormed up the top floor it was the kitchen stereo pumping and them smashing pots on the floor and meat cleavering meat on a stainless table I called reception and asked for a worker to come up to see how loud it was but no 1 come i recoreded it and let them have a listen when we packed our stuff and we checked out I was then told I would have to pay a cancel fee I don't think so The best thing about this hotel is leaving Even the pool area was disgusting and the fence and step you needed to climb over was something else Don't bother with breakfast better food right out the front The staff are rudest i have ever ment I give this place a 0 star rating appauling Went around the corner and found another place for the same price and it fantastic
- holidayarris (4/5): Cheap but far from cheerful - Booked this 3* hotel on the recommendation of a travel blogger. Best thing about it was the view from the room over Nah Trang beach. Staff were miserable and disinterested, building works including drilling and dust right near the kitchen. We took one look at the unhygienic and unappetising breakfast and decided to eat out! Good location and cheap as chips so if your on a budget and don’t have standards then it’s the place for you!
- JINBEOM (2/5): 오마이갓 - 위치좋음. 직원은 그저그럼. 조식 보통. 그러나, 호텔이 공사중...복도며, 방이며 먼지 엄청 많음. 시끄러움...아침 7시부터 드릴소리 남. 벌레 좀 있음...음식은 꼭 냉장고에. 화장실 냄새 남.... 처음 3층 들어가라며,..쫌 좋은 방은 1일당 5000원 더내라고, 방 없다고 하더군..갔더니, 곰팡이 냄새+바닦 먼지...오마이갓...공사중인 곳의 방을 주면 어떡하냐며 항의했더니 나중에 그나마 낳은 방은 주더군...다시는 안가리~~~2-3만원 더주고 기분 좋게 가는게 낳을듯.

We have to wait until 2pm only get the room key even we were there at 1pm. only can compliment on the sun rise view from breakfast restaurant.

Expensive if you add for your kids about 150k vnd per pax and it was not worth it. Location is good. Would i stay here again... no. Will try other hotel. So many hotel to choose around that area.

- James (4/5): Sfeerloos - Kamer was ruim, badkamer ook en ook wel schoon. Maar verder was alles echt teleurstellend. We hadden veel last van het geluid van een soort ventilatiesysteem in onze kamer. Ook hadden we last van de andere hotelgasten. Er waren op het moment veel grote families en deze vonden het gezellig om de deuren open te laten en naar elkaar te schreeuwen van kamer tot kamer. Het zwembad is verlaten, kill, niet gezellig, geen kussentjes voor de bedjes, geen restaurant, geen personeel, geen handdoeken en je moet over een hekje stappen. Alsof je illegaal het zwembad gaat bezoeken. Personeel was ook niet erg enthousiast. We arriveerde heel vroeg in Nha Trang vanwege de nachtbus en wisten dat we pas om 14.00 in konden checken. Maar toch wilde we onze koffer kwijt en even melden dat we er al zijn, misschien dat ze wat voor ons konden regelen qua eerder inckecken. Echter hadden we geen fijn welkom, de nachtshift keek ons aan met een blik van ‘wat doen jullie hier’. Uiteindelijk de stad ingegaan en later op de dag terug gekomen. Wel nog eerder in kunnen checken gelukkig. Bij het uitchecken werd er niet eens naar ons gekeken. Ze pakte ons pasje en ik moest wat tekenen. Geen tot ziens, geen ‘was alles naar wens’, eigenlijk totaal geen gastvrij gevoel. Gelukkig waren we er maar 1 nacht

- Thang (10/5): Good value for the money and very Central Location - This is a Great 3* Hotel for the Price we had to pay. 2 big beds very comfortable and clean nice hotel. The breakfast buffet is ok. Great location. Overall, everything is great!
- Giovanni (2/5): Filthy backpacker hotel - Look if you need somewhere to stay that's a sort up from a hostel stay here, the hotel was very dirty with bugs in the room. The bed is very hard and the shower makes a smell of excrement when you turn it on. I stayed here for 15 minutes. The staff however were very nice and so apologetic for my experience.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst checkout ever - Upon checking out I was accused of breaking a glass (as it was missing) this glass was used to take medicine to another room for a friends sick boy. Also accused of taking those horrible slip on shoes in the room! Worst hotel we have stayed in Vietnam - avoid at all costs! Also room never made up properly each day, toilet stunk all the time, never gave us enough towels or toilet paper! Avoid this hotel!!!
- Daniel (6/5): Günstiges Hotel in guter Lage - Hotel befindet sich in einer kleinen Seitengasse nur 3 min vom Strand entfernt. Zimmer waren in Ordnung, hatten leider beim günstigsten Zimmer kein Fenster. (Fenster gibts erst beim Superior Zimmer) Frühstück war in Ordnung, schöner Pool mit genialer Aussicht auf dem Dach.
- Raphael (4/5): under construction! - The hotel was under construction. Horrible! After we asked for other room they mentioned they are full. We wanted to change to another hotel.. then they offered us the Galaxy Hotel next door. This hotel was ok! Choos this one and ask for Rooms with number x01 (301, 401 etc.). Those are nice!

- Verified traveler (6/5): 酒店一般，到处是蚂蚁 - 酒店位置还是不错的，出门步行5分钟就可以到海边，但是旁边在装修，很大的灰尘，床上，衣柜到处都是蚂蚁。早餐要自己点餐，味道也不怎么好。酒店前台可以报名四岛游，可以包车去机场。
- CUI (8/5): 性价比很高，值得推荐 - 酒店地理位置什么的都很不错，性价比很高，前台（男）的英语非常好，连口音都很标准，我们当天提前到了也让我们提前入住了，也有干洗和租借摩托车的服务，非常方便，唯一不足就是就是酒店目前有部分在装修，吃早餐就看不到海景了。

- Duc (2/5): Avoid ...there's better options . - I'm not a fussy person but this was not a good hotel and would not suggest to others unless you're a backpacker who don't care where you stay or don't have any other options. For $70 a night, it was bad! They didnt even have a breakfast buffet, all they had was a few choices. They didn't even have a kettle in the room to boil hot water for coffee or tea, you had to get the kettle from downstairs. We could barely get wifi 90% of the time and told the reception about it but nothing was done. The pictures of this hotel fooled us..it was not satisfactory for the price we paid... Never again.
- Tammy (6/5): - We stayed at Sun city hotel just only 2 nights. Just only few minutes walk to the main beach; however it could be not convenient if you had a car or catch a taxi as the hotel located in a narrow alley. Its a new and modern hotel, good furniture and bathroom but one female reception deck staff are unable to communicate properly in English and not nice, sometimes she is quite rude. Unfortunately we see her quite often. Good restaurant with a very nice view of the Nha Trang bay, good breakies.
- Huu Phuc (8/5): Recomend for couple! - Clean & very good room. The bathroom with glass can see the bed is so excited. :) I love this hotel.
- Ness (4/5): sadly - not good - This Hotel was extremely disappointing, infact I will be applying to Expedia for a refund. Room had jaded, scuffed decoration and only half the lights worked ( this was supposed to be a deluxe room )Breakfast was disgusting and staff in the dining room were sullen. Again decor had seen better days and beach ants were in abundance. The room was not clean and the sheets were grey. The breaking point for us was the building noise from next door which started at 6 am every morning.
- Luis Ricardo (8/5): Good, modern and well located but nothing special - Hotel in an alley full of similar options. Modern building , comfortable room, friendly staff. It's not far away from the main turistic roads and close to the beach, however, it lacks charm, a good hotel but totally forgetable after you leave the city.
- DEBLINA (8/5): Decent enough! - Stay was overall satisfactory, rooms were moderately sized though the breakfast was a disaster!! 3 minutes walking distance to the sea..coax them into giving you a sea facing room ;)
- Geoff (10/5): Nha Trang and sun City Hotel - The hotel is located near the beach (approx 5 minutes walk) which is a great place to relax at the end of the day after exploring the city and environs. A delicious breakfast is provided to start your day on the top floor overlooking the beach. .One of the highlights for me was a visit to the markets where,although I did not buy anything, it was an experience just to dodge the cycles and cars in the markets - I thought it might be a cycle free domain! But thre was no escape from them. There are plenty of local restaurants to enjoy as I as said the beach has a french "feel" to it. Could not complain about the hotel
- Remig Loewenau (4/5): Poor service. - I was promised by e-mail that I would be picked up at the bus station. I wasn't. A message was left for me and delivered a day late. Now there are three $95. charges for a three night $25. stay that I had paid one day in advance. I will be reporting this to my credit card company, experia and if there is a Vietnam agency watching your honesty to them. I will also be commenting on line to warn them of you incompetence if not theivery.

- Hybrid 2007 (4/5): Horrible hotel - A horrible stay at this hotel. We paid about 3 times the normal rate to stay at this hotel based on other favorable reviews at the time of booking. The room is tiny, the design is all wrong: wash basin, shower and toilet are crammed into a small space with the shower positioned almost on top of the toilet, as a consequence after a shower you had to walk across a wet and slippery floor to the toilet (even the toilet seat is wet). No tower racks, no shelf for putting anything down, we practically live like squatter at this place. No tissue box, no pen, no paper. Complaints were dealt with by staff telling us that "this is a 2 stars hotel", never mind the stiff price we paid (around $65 a night) which we are told that "it is the lunar new year price". In another word, we are stupid tourist who paid too much for a 2 star hotel and should just put up with it. Do not pay more than $20 a night for it.
- Joyce (6/5): Great location. good value - Great location. Very close to the beach and the sailing club. Free taxi pick-up at the train station. Great value. Do not leave any food in the room. We left some cookies on the table for two hours and there came all the ants.

- Britt (10/5): Great Hotel - Great hotel, room was very clean and comfortable. Cleaning service was excellent. Good location, located 5 minutes away from the beach. Surrounded by restaurants and lots of great local street stalls. A particularly great stall which sells baguettes at the end of the road. Overall lovely stay would recommend this hotel for people passing through this lovely busy beach town.
