- Rachel (10/5): - 3rd stay and it did not disappoint. A beautiful family run boutique hotel. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and staff are attentive to ensure all your dietary needs are met. Food is of a high quality and freshly prepared. Hotel offers port transfers for a small fee. There is a local bus that stops right outside the hotel and travels to the beach and Chora into the evening. Looking forward to my next stay!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was spotless and clean. The views were gorgous from the hotel looking over Mylopotas beach, which was only a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was such good quality with a huge range of options for all guests to choose from. The hotel never seemed too busy or overcrowded and we had a very relaxing stay. Everything was fabolous and cant fault anything, we cannot wait to go back again.

- Corrine (10/5): - We had an amazing stay here. Easily accessible to many great restaurants, supermarkets, and beach! Bus stops right in front of the property and takes you right into town. The only negative is that there are stairs to get to your room and there isnt any help with your luggage. My husband had to carry all our luggages down to our room. Other than that we loved this place. We will definitely be back! The staff are super helpful and friendly.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Sewage smell in paradise - The proximity to the beach and the service at the bar was a high point. However the property itself, especially our room and hallway to our room, had a distinct smell of sewage. We also smelled it at various other locations like by the pool in certain areas. Our room and hallway both had pungent artificial air fresheners, which made things worse - making it smell like a public toilet. When we brought this to the attention of the management they acted shocked, as if they had no idea what we were talking about. The air freshener placement shows otherwise. We will be back to Ios but not this hotel.

They also went out of their way to leave a gift for me and my partner! Only issue was the small black bugs that kept creeping into our room from somewhere every night. Besides that it was beautiful. - Sean (10/5): Great stay and amazing views - The views from this hotel are amazing, looking out at the hills and main beach in Ios. Just a short walk to many great restaurants both in the town and on the beach. The bar by the pool is very nice and quite cheap for food too. Breakfast was very good. Would recommend renting a quad bike to explore the island further.

The drinks at the pool bar were great. My only issue is jamming my toes and foot multiple times in the room since the floor was built very awkwardly with various raised sections that are not distinguishable, as they are painted all the same white color.

Staff can also arrange to pick you up at the port. Everyone was so kind that worked there. The pool area/bar area is so pretty and looks over the beach. It’s about a 5 minute walk down to the beach (definitely steep but so worth it). About a 10-15 minute walk into town. Couldn’t have asked for a better location being so close to the beach and the town. Definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel itself is perched on the cliff face overlooking Melopotas beach, which is simply beautiful - a 2 min walk away. A 10 min walk in the opposite direction leads to the town of Ios. Of all the greek islands we visited on this trip, Ios had the best setting. A big YES from us all round.

Breakfast was amazing, pool lounge was incredible and the views are breathtaking. Rooms are clean and roomy. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Melina is a gem!!!

- John (10/5): Three Nights on Ios - Awesome Stay - We stayed here for three nights and found the hotel to be perfect for our needs. It's neat and clean and the room was very comfortable (junior suite) with its own private little garden. WiFi was fast enough to allow us Whatsapp and Skype conversations with our kids back home. The staff were uber-friendly and were always ready to greet with a smile and to assist with whatever we needed. The breakfast was included as was a brilliant buffet. Although not on the beach, it's about as close as you can get and has a lovely view over Mylopotos Beach (which is about 70m or so down a steep pathway. There are many nice restaurants to sample within a 5 to 10 minute walking distance from the hotel along the beachfront. We hired a quad for two of the days we were there (kindly arranged by Olga at reception) at very reasonable and this made our island holiday as it gave us complete freedom to explore - and what a delight that was! We would strongly recommend hiring one for those that want to see all the island has to offer. In summary, I would strongly recommend this hotel for all the reasons above.
