RetiredTravelOz (10/5): A Beautiful House with lovely staff - Had a very enjoyable stay at this beautiful well kept old House. The room had a modern bathroom, large shower and electric blankets on the bed. The heating worked well in the room too. Located just across the road from a golf course, the House is situated in attractive gardens. Staff are very friendly and there is a bar and lounge with a fireplace where we enjoyed listening to the music playing and reading from the selection of magazines provided. The cooked breakfast was also delicious. The only downside was that there was not much sound insulation in the rooms but I would happily stay here again.

Amanda (6/5): Not great value for the price - Quaint old building in a quiet location with lovely common lounge area with fireplace. Very expensive room, shower pressure and temperature control were poor, host was polite but not that helpful, breakfast was average and unremarkable. All guests were staying to attend a concert and hosts just told everyopne to walk the long distance to the golf club for transport. Disappointing as we all paid inflated prices for the rooms due to the concert and lack of accommodation in Bowral that night. The stay was OK but I would rush back here.

Connie (8/5): A warm and memorable stay - We had a lovely stay at Links House. The room was cosy and comfortable, and the bathroom had been smartly renovated with a fresh, modern feel. Dinner service was a highlight, with Michael looking after us in the restaurant. He was genuinely lovely — chatty, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The property itself is beautiful, especially the garden, which features a stunning Boston ivy wall that adds so much charm and character to the setting. It’s a peaceful and inviting place to unwind. Overall, a warm and memorable stay — we’d happily return. As an older property, there are a few quirks to be aware of. Noise insulation isn’t the strongest, so sounds can carry a little through the hallways, which are also quite drafty and echoey. Some of the walls showed minor scuff marks, and the paving is a bit uneven in places. Improved lighting in the car park would also make arrivals and evenings feel a bit more comfortable.

Rhiannon (5/5): Unfortunately wouldn’t stay again as room smelt damp and dusty - - The staff were very friendly and helpful - Breakfast was delicious and included in fee - the grounds were picturesque with flowers/ draping greenery etc - the dining room/ lounge etc was cosy and lovely John Olsen artwork on walls - good tv with all the apps - close to town - our room smelt like dust and damp. So much so, that we went and bought a candle - the cleanliness was not great- mould on pillow slips, really dusty bedhead , disgusting portable mattresses (I think or blankets) that was tucked behind lounge and stunk. We asked for these to be removed - which was accommodated straight away. - the renovation, particularly in the bathroom is really poor- concrete/ grout marks everywhere. The fixtures are already chipping - no flyscreens on windows (yes I know it’s an old building, but it’s impractical)

Richard (7/5): Good property but now lacking attention. - Staff were very welcoming. Very nice breakfast. Front of property and main entrance and lounge area very comfortable. Bed rooms were not like photo presentation on website. Back yard area needed tidying up as plenty of possum droppings were all over the place. Unable to sit under the trees as yard was very untidy. Everywhere needed cleaning up, very dirty buildings. On our last full day at hotel a cleaner called in sick and was not replaced. Accordingly our room was not cleaned. The only person on duty, a young male, made our bed and gave us clean towels. Staff told us that staff numbers were not being replaced which leads to a deteriorating property.

Natasha (9/5): Lovely boutique hotel - Breakfast included was amazing, good price and location. Room was clean. Room doesn’t have a lot of light however with lamps it is good.
Donald (9/5): A perfect location with such welcoming and friendly staff.The restaurant food was amazing served by delightful staff - The wonderful restaurant that served amazing food. The television reception was poor.
Jo (8/5): Excellent would stay again - Beautifully appointed boutique style room, extra comfy beds with all the little touches. Breakfast was delicious and generous without being too much. Staff were very helpful Literally the only things I would say is the bathroom was a little compact in relation to layout and the carpark could use some lighting
Elizabeth (4/5): Try somewhere else! - The breakfast was lovely as were the two front public rooms.. staff were very nice.. The room was Old and tired far from the images online, the shower dripped, the basin was impractical and the size of a football, the bed edges are soft so you feel like you will roll off and it was incredibly noisy because all the rooms doors slam shut and it echoes in what is a closed veranda/hallway.. we will not stay there again..
Wilson (5/5): Nice but small - Loved the vibe and view from the lounge room. Breakfast was a nice bonus The rooms and bathrooms were very small, no 24 hour service
Elizabeth (9/5): Lovely hotel experience. Will definately stay there next time. - I was surprised how nice the hotel was. Room was nice and lovely with electric blankets on the bed. Ross at reception was so helpful. Breakfast that was included was nice. Nothing.

Laura (9/5): Lovely old fashioned hospitality - Breakfast was lovely, felt very luxurious to be waited upon in the picturesque old dining room, and the staff were generous in providing for our two small toddlers as well- they had a lovely feast of scrambled eggs and toast with jam and cornflakes. The kids loved looking at the goldfish in the pond and chasing rabbits on the lawn and exploring the picturesque little courtyard grands. Room was small but stylish and very comfortable.

Nigel (7/5): - good. Fly screens on the windows would have prevented mosquitoes coming into the room. A longer shower curtain would have prevented the bathroom flooding. a blanket would have been helpful as we cannot sleep under quilts. see above

Emmerick (10/5): Overall, a pleasant stay . - Very quiet location. Lovely gardens. The Restaurant was lovely and food great. Whilst the room was comfortable and had everything required, the bathroom was quiet small.
fkfmkf fmfmfk (7/5): not the best but sufficient if desperate - On ordering staff was told clearly to bring us breakfast with no bacon it still had bacon on it. This was frustrating because we are a multiethnic couple, it was insulting and rude to do this. see above, racist place could be Islamophobic owners

Andrew (4/5): Overpriced for what it was - The shower sprayed all over the bathroom as there was only a flimsy shower curtain. The mirror in the bathroom was so low you had to sit down to see your face in it. None of the expected extras such as ironing board and iron in the room.

Therese (8/5): A lovely, peaceful stay in a comfy bed with a bonus excellent breakfast. - Lovely comfy beds and pillows, very peaceful and quiet, good shower, good blinds and curtains to darken the room, car parking, easy access to room, good breakfast, very polite and friendly staff. Not much really, The bathroom was a little small. No big deal.
Eddie (9/5): My 3rd stay and I will be back - Fantastic location opposite Bowral Golf Club surrounded by grand country estates. Comfortable room. Great place to unwind. Bed mattress a little too soft for me.
