- Christopher (5/5): Irritating - The location was close to train and bus stations, and to art galleries. Reasonably priced compared to similar hotels in Bergen. Despite having prepaid I was made to register my credit card which I find unacceptable. This did not happen at any other of the hotels wee stayed in in Norway. On arrival quite a queue at reception which was slow as staffed by only a single person. So after a long journey this was not the welcome we had hoped for. Industrial action meant no dining options and no forewarning about this. We were also given a disabled room without any comment about this. The plug for the kettle in the room was well away from where the kettle was located and in a very awkward position.

Zentrale Lage: Der Zug zum Flughafen ist ganz nah Man kann gut ins Zentrum laufen, es ist alles zu Fuss erreichbar Das Hotel ist im Innern sehr schön Der mini-Laden beim Eingang ist recht praktisch für kleine Snacks oder wenn man noch Zahnpasta etc. braucht. Die Aussicht auf eine Betonterrasse war nicht gerade berauschend...aber es war auch nicht so schlimm, denn die meiste Zeit ist man ja unterwegs, um sich die Stadt anzuschauen

It overlooked an interior lobby, and anyone at the restaurant could see into our room. It also meant that the internal lighting was on all night so our room was brightly lit even with curtains closed. There was no air con and the room was very hot.

- tualatin (8/5): Pleasant stay in good location - All in all, our stay was pleasant. The room was nice. Beds comfortable. The personnel, short staffed by labor strike, were friendly and efficient. The drawbacks were the crowded and chaotic breakfast servings with limited seating, and the traffic noise (loud motorcycles) in middle of night. The latter out of hotel’s control and I found a remedy in ear plugs. Very good location for public transport as hotel right across street from bus, tram and train stations. Great little Vietnamese restaurant, Zen Kafe, two blocks away.

- kppixie (10/5): Superb hotel, great location - This hotel exceeded all our expectations. To the welcoming and friendly staff on our arrival (we were able to put our cases in storage) and the hotel overall was brilliant. A spotlessly clean hotel with lifts to all floors (you had to scan your door fob to use the lift for security). We were on one of the top floors, 12. What a lovely room, an open shower with heated floor. Super comfy bed and pillows, slept like a log! Superb view from the hotel windows. All the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing, everything you could wish for, and more! So fresh and a good section for gluten free too. The location of the hotel was next to the main transport, we used the light rail system, clean, efficient and on time! Thank you all for making our first visit to Norway an incredible one! I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

- 87jalea (10/5): Wonderful stay with outstanding breakfast service – special thanks to Giselda! - I recently stayed at Scandic Ørnen in Bergen and was really impressed by the whole experience. The hotel is in a perfect central location, right next to the bus and train station, and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. But what truly made my mornings special was the breakfast. The buffet is excellent with a great variety of fresh options, but the highlight was definitely Giselda. She welcomed every guest with such genuine warmth and a beautiful smile. She even remembered many people by name, which made everyone feel personally cared for. Her positive aura and friendly energy really set a lovely tone for the day. It’s rare to experience service that feels so sincere and uplifting. Giselda (and the rest of the breakfast team) made a big difference and turned a good hotel into a memorable one. Highly recommended – especially if you appreciate that extra human touch!

Vi kom til hotellet 14:30, går opp til rommet og der er det ingen barneseng. Går ned og sier ifra, får beskjed om at det skal komme opp med senga med en gang. Må gå ned flere ganger og når kl var 19 så kom dem inn med seng som var gjesteseng og ikke til et barn som er 1år..... Må ned og si ifra og da kom dem barnesenga kl 19:30...... Aldri igjen at jeg booker noe opphold hos dere igjen..... Betaler så mye penger for at det skal være enkelt og lett også skal det være så vanskelig å sette fram en barneseng?

- 421suna (6/5): Bad service. - I had looked forward to bringing guests to stay at Scandic Ørnen in Bergen for Easter, and to our great disappointment the restaurant and bar was closed. If I had known this I would have chosen a different hotel. We've been to the restaurant before, and it was a reason we chose this hotel.

- jojo_globetrotter (8/5): Very decent and most importantly quiet hotel - Good hotel, great location, room very quiet, you can't hear your neighbours or anyone outside which seems to be a rarity these days. Only drawback was the temperature in the room was too hot, especially at night and even when you turn it off it was still blowing hot air.
