- Keith (10/5): - We had a planning faux pas and needed a room for one extra day before we went back home. The hotel that we had been staying in was roughly €500 per night. Sleep split did not have as large of a room, it was an extremely nice room with modern amenities and was only 150 euros. I highly recommend this hotel.

A very convenient place to stay before flying home the next morning. But this was such a great Studio apartment we could have quite happily stayed there for longer. It was really comfortable and well equipped and the staff were lovely. The apartment felt clean and welcoming and super comfortable. It was also very well located ( just around the corner from a great Gluten Free snack bar and a restaurant - a real plus for me).

The receptionist is exceptionally helpful, offering guidance on exploring the Old Town and providing a map with recommended restaurants. The in-room amenities are modern, and the thoughtful addition of a white noise speaker adds to the comfort. I’d gladly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to the beautiful seaside city of Split. none

Mokosh for brunch was one of them and i highly recommend it. Its beautiful. I had to ssk about our free drinks nut there wete no issues getting them. Maybe there was no vip room upgrade bc it wasn't available. Didnt matter, our room was great

- Dwayne (10/5): Excellent location- cozy and comfortable - Definitely recommended. We had a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette, living room and sofa bed. Two of us in the room but you could definitely fit a third person or child. The room was exactly as advertised. It is in a very old building but the company did an amazing job with the rooms renovating and keeping it clean and modernized. As for location- literally 2mins walk right into the heart of the action and the Diocletian palace walls.

One of the advantages of being outside of the city wall, is that taxis can easily drop/pick you up in front of your apartment. Unlike inside the city walls, no cars are permitted, so you have to drag your luggage inside it. The staff here were very friendly and helpful, especially allowing us to leave our luggage and check in earlier.

Firstly, with the parking: as it is within the borders of the old city one cannot park and drive in all places so he ensured we got in with all our bags while he parked the car for us. The receptionist was super helpful in letting us know where the car would be, how to access it in case we needed to, informed us of all the important details like where to drop off the key as well as marked all the information on the map that was good to know. The room itself had comfortable beds and was very clean. The location was perfect as it was just outside the walls of the castle. Very convenient.

They had beach towels that you could use which was a nice touch. The beds in my opinion were great beds to get some good sleep on and usually hotels do not have the best beds. Location wise, it was super close to Diocletian’s Palace and all the waterfront stores and restaurants. If I come back, this hotel will be where I will go again! 10/10

- jeanniedc (8/5): Overall good experience - I really wanted to love this hotel! The reviews were so good. Here’s my opinion following a 3 night stay. Pros: fabulous location about 2 minutes from gate to Old City. We had a studio suite with a nice modern kitchenette (that we didn’t use). Lots of storage space. Also good USB outlets at each side of the comfortable bed. Cons: there are no common areas so it doesn’t really feel like a hotel; more like an Airbnb with good daily housekeeping. There was no Kleenex in the bathroom. The biggest negative was no included breakfast, which is unusual for (many) hotels in Europe. It wasn’t hard to find places for good coffee and good pastries, but it was a negative for us.
- Surfing_SD (10/5): Really nice place, super location, great staff! - We just finished our stay at Sleep Split, and it was perfect. Super friendly staff, spotlessly clean room, great wifi, cold A/C, cable TV to catch up on news after a day touring the city. After making a reservation, we emailed the hotel ahead of our trip to reserve a parking space (for a reasonable fee), and that worked out great. The hotel has a private garage very close. The staff helped us load and unload our bags and showed us to our parking space. (Parking is hard to find in Split, so if you have a car, this is a major bonus). They even have an elevator, which I am told is rare, since the buildings are all so old (Sleep Split is in a 300 year old building!) As for the location, this hotel is as close the old walled city as you can get. You walk out the front door, cross the street, and you are in the city. We had a great time in Split. I highly recommend Sleep Split.
- Jeff (7/5): Although it was a decent experience I would not recommend - The place was not great but it was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean. My main issue was it was not worth what we paid. We had just visited both Dubrovnik and Hvar. Places we stayed were much lower in price, but were nicer with fabulous locations and outstanding views.

- Fotini (10/5): Excellent, super comfortable, and right in the heart of Split. - What a fantastic place to stay as a family. Right in the town centre, a few minutes from the port, shopping, bakeries and historical sites. The staff were very professional and friendly, nothing was too much to ask. The cleanliness of the place is commendable! There was nothing not to like about this place. We would highly recommend it. We didn’t book breakfast and thought that would be an issue but it really wasn’t. There are so many bakeries/restaurants/cafes around, we were spoilt for choice with our two, under 11 year-old, sons.
- Warren (10/5): - This is a great property. Comfortable beds that are not soft and not too hard, perfect for people with lower back problems. I could not fault the staff, they were just awesome, particularly the main girl on reception (who I didn’t get the name of). I was not well while there and she helped me find a chemist that was open on a public holiday, gave me extra tea bags and was generally just a lovely person to deal with. The property has great air conditioning and good shower facilities. This is just on the edge of the old town so a perfect location. The only down side is there seems to be a nightly dance party where loud music plays in the vicinity up until about 11pm each night. Only an issue if you want to have the windows open but there is double glazed windows that cut out all the noise. I’d highly recommend based on my experience.
- M (6/5): - Near Old Town Split, but there's a bar playing music late into the night. The bass was really annoying and made it hard to sleep. Reception was also near our door and other guests were noisy when checking in, making it difficult to sleep.

The staff was very helpful from managing parking, luggages and trip and food recommendations. Also the small details in the room like selfie stick, beach towels, and sleep machine( my fave)
- Lori (10/5): - Sleep Split is a great option in terms of location. It’s a short walk to all the sights of Split. The room was simple but clean. The parking is off site, so you need to park on the side of the building and wait for the staff to take you to the parking lot. A bit inconvenient but worth it to stay in the historic zone. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and gave lots of tips and restaurant recommendations.

The personnel is really kind and helpful. You can hear the noises from the street (people coming back from the parties).

- Marday (10/5): Absolute gem of a property. - On arrival the lady on the reception desk was an absolute delight. She was so helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The room was so nice, perfect for 4 of us and so clean and had everything you needed. Location was the best, central to everything. Breakfast was absolutely unreal being able to eat at either 2 cafes down on the town. We chose the one overlooking the water and it was so amazing all 3 mornings. Couldn’t fault it at all.
