The building’s elevator is a welcomed convenience, as every step at 3,500 meters above sea level is no small feat. The view from the 12th-floor bar is truly breathtaking. While the room felt a bit outdated, this was reflected in the price, making it overall a good value for the stay.

- Kevin (6/5): Pros and Cons of Polo Cusco Suites - I'll start with the Pros. Great views of Cusco, and the Restaurant Bar at the top level has great food for both breakfast and dinner. It was super convenient on those days you just need to rest and don't want to do much walking. Also hot water was very hot. Now for the Cons: The front desk staff are extremely unhelpful. When we arrived we didn't find a safe or mini fridge in our room. When we asked the front desk about it they basically told all three of us that it was there and we were all lying about not having one. The following days when we brought it up, they just dodged the issue, saying another set of staff (like housekeeping) will "look into it." We only received a safe and mini fridge when another room on our floor checked out and they gave us theirs. Noise. This has got to be the loudest hotel I've stayed in, like ever. Rooms are not sound proof at all and you can hear everything from the hallway to the upstairs rooms, to the dogs barking on the street 8 floors down. Not to forget the train that goes right by the hotel and makes a great amount of noise in the morning. Airport shuttle was advertised as free on the website, but we had to pay for it. So they lied about that service. They don't even take you themselves they just called up someone and had them take us. Overall I was not impressed with Polo Cusco Suites, which is why I would give it 3 stars. There are more cons than pros, for me and my friends who stayed here May 9th through the 15th of 2024.

- Stuart (10/5): - Easy to grab a Uber or taxi within 3 minutes. I thought the train track had charm- it did not bother us and stopped early enough in the evenings. Breakfasts is abundance. Staff aims to please and accommodate. Drink the complimentary coca leaves to relief headaches and other symptoms of altitude. Works wonders. The area is noisy as expected, but we did not venture out. We did not walk to the square- due to altitude- Cleanliness could be improved, minimal towels left and were “old”. But, overall, we liked our stay there- we are seniors.

This was not an issue for us since it was cold during the time we went and the room was cool enough. They also kept our luggage for 1-2 hrs after our checkout, since we were not getting back in time from a morning tour.

Es cerca de la estación del tren y el restaurante en la azotea del hotel es espectacular. Sin embargo tuvimos una mala experiencia con un mal olor particular que fue reportado en varias ocasiones y no lo corrigieron a pesar de indicar que se ocuparían del mismo. Por lo demás muy bueno.

- Carter (10/5): - This is a lovely place to stay! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are incredibly clean, with an amazing view of the city! The hotel seems quite family oriented with mainly other Peruvians staying, and so if you’re a tourist looking to meet people or if your Spanish is not proficient, this may not be the best hotel choice for you. It’s about a 20 minute walk from Plaza de Armas with more restaurants/tourist areas, but I didn’t mind at all and had no problem walking home in the evening as a solo young woman. I recommend this hotel!

- Diana (8/5): Not bad - My stay was good but what ruined it at the end is my coupled neighbor arguing and physically hitting each other throughout the night. Nothing was done about it. I had to call front desk twice and they were still arguing, pounding on doors, and just making a lot of noise. I didn't sleep on my last night there...ruined my vacation.
- sacha (6/5): - Ok hotel and amenities, asked for an extra bed before I got there, ended up with a crib. When we asked for a bed they said ok but wanted to charge an extra nightly fee. We went without the extra bed and they still Charged extra to have another person in the room. Slightly disappointed as this could have been communicated in the conversation before I got there but was lost in translation.

- Alexander (4/5): - Polo Cusco Suites was fine overall, but there were several things that they messed up to the point that it seemed like a pattern: 1. I got stuck in the Men's room in the cafe at breakfast because there was no door handle on the inside. There was no sign warning that the door was broken and it took probably 10 minutes to get assistance getting out. 2. My room got cleaned on the second day despite putting the "do not disturb" sign on my door. This feels like an invasion of my privacy. 3. They lacked any sort of heat/spice/hot sauce in their free breakfast offering.
- Patricia Zaide (8/5): - This property was ok. I wasn’t completely disappointed. The staff was polite. I did expect my room to be in better conditions. I feel like I could’ve had more for what I paid for. It was a bit of a walk to everything around town. I would probably opt into another property if I were to return. The water pressure in the shower was really good but the shower curtains sucked. Water went everywhere. The sink leaked. I had to use extra towels to absorb the water and they unfortunately were not replaced when room service came each day. I’m not sure of the cleaning schedule but it seemed to be all over the place. Considering the time difference from my place of travel I didn’t really feel comfortable taking a nap since the feeling of not getting my room cleaned was there. The food at the restaurant was good. The breakfast was odd but I’m assuming it’s because of the culture. Other than that no complaints.

- Avion (6/5): - Overall decent place, just don’t get room 11A because at night if there’s a party scheduled and you’re on a 3AM wake up for a flight or excursion you’re not sleeping. There’s not much they can do until 1030-11pm because that’s when the rooftop restaurant closes. You might as well go to the party.

- Louis (4/5): - Second of our trip to Cusco: We were assigned to room 902 which has no heater in a cold room, no hair dryer, no hand towels, no fridge for our food and toilet doesn’t flush well. After check in, we requested a few things to our room at the reception including bagged breakfast for next day due to early tour. None of the things we got per our request. We finally got a room change to 703 on the next day. It might sound like a petty complaint but it is a legitimate VIP hotel access that never happened on this second round. Overall, the rest of stay was great other than the fist day hiccups.

- Christopher (4/5): Horrible hotel - It was horrible from the begining we had to wait for our room for 45 min. Then the towels where old and torn. Then anothe day there was no water at all in the middle of my showe and my family member. The tv was too small. Not enough hangers only 2 and the safe needed a key which they didnt give us we had to call for it and for extra towels and pillows. The restaurant was good the service and food. But class customer service and better attention and newer things was a complete miss.

I tried a bite and ate two chicken wings. The next day I discovered I had food poisoning from the food. Very disappointed. Also I booked the room for the tub. After seeing the condition of furniture and how the room looked, we decided the tub wouldn't be good to use.

I’m a single woman traveling alone, when I asked to speak to the manager he was unable to reach her. They were I accommodating to my needs, I do not recommend this hotel to any American.

- Camille (8/5): - I stayed here a total of 3 nights. There were comments about the noise, and it was true in my experience but only for one night. Maybe because it was a Saturday? But yes, lots of singing in the neighborhood until the early morning. However, the location is great. You can walk to the plazas in 20-30mins, or take a cab for maybe 10soles. The staff is also exceptional. They helped me with cab pickup from Poroy and with my covid test prior to flight back to US.

- MONICA (8/5): - I stayed here few nights and ended up extending my stay for few more days. This is a nice place to stay. The bed is very comfortable, my suite was on the 10th floor and relatively quiet for Cusco (it could be ver noisy for some). Excellent courteous staff, very nice room with a view, good shower (water is hot and has good pressure), and the TV needs improvement but works. Above all, it is a very good place at a very good price.

- Tammy (8/5): Not perfect but Clean room, I’d stay again - The first room we were given had a faulty toilet. After the hotel attempted to fix it twice, we were given a different room. The TV remote did not properly work, the telephone cord did not stay properly in the outlet so it required two of us to place a room service order: one to hold the cord in the wall and the other to dial. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job on cleaning the room daily. I would have liked a thermostat in the room because it was chilly on occasion.

Staff was great at arranging Taxis and arranging for medical personnel to come to the hotel for Covid testing for our return flight requirement. Hand towels and bath towels were provided, but no washcloths and none of the stores or shops had them either, so you may want to pack your own. Overall great experience.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - When Peru locked down its border for the coronavirus, we were the somewhat unexpected and reluctant guests at the Polo Cusco Suites for two weeks. The Polo Cuzco was the one part of the experience that could NOT have been better. The staff was great, they kept their prices constant,, the wi-fi was excellent for the communications so essential those two weeks, and the breakfast and dinner were beyond excellent. The gourmet dinner in the 12th floor restaurant; the views out over the city; these were the highlights of each difficult day! Not only that, but the 12 stories gave us the daily workout we needed when we couldn't go outside. We could NOT have asked for more than we got from the Polo Cuzco and its staff all three of us are deeply grateful for the way they helped to make this difficult situation almost pleasurable.

Forever grateful. #YoMeQuedoEnCasa For future travelers: This hotel is affordable but doesn’t skimp on the amenities, the 360 Sky Bar is amazing and offers the best view of Cusco. It’s breathtaking! The staff is so wonderful. (Please treat them well!) They make you feel like family! Food is delicious and has a good mix of traditional Peruvian food with choices for everyone. The bar has excellent drinks. I suggest you try some traditional ones. The room is comfortable with hot water, and ample channel choices for all. The WiFi is the best that I had at any hotel in Peru. Overall. Excellent value for for money!

- Jorge (10/5): - Tallest building in Cusco 20 minutes walking to Plaza de Armas and city views from rooms and restaurant. Wonderfull breakfast buffet included. Large combortable bedroom with shower and bath, refri and safe, closet and desk. Kindly and professional staff ready to serve and help with the Cusco warm style.
- Brent (8/5): - Close to the airport, easy pickup for excursions. The staff was very friendly, helpful & spoke good english. Especially in the top floor restaurant. Jefferson was exceptional. He really went the extra mile to provide a great dining experience. Even with a limited menu the fiod was vert good.

- Jacob (10/5): Wonderful service and clean. - Polo Suites was a great place to stay for a few nights. The breakfast was good. When we were too tired to venture out, the restaurant had tasty dinner options paired with a stunning view. GREAT service. Marco (Polo), in particular, took wonderful care of us. I definitely recommend.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel reception staff were so kind , very nice people. The only thing they really needs to improve is the restaurant service because if you arrive at 9 for breakfast you can find almost nothing to eat and you have to care of everything , even open drawers to find knife and sppon and sougar for the coffee. Yesterday was only 1 person working and was not enough for a rush hour. The first day that we arrived we also asked the restaurant for dinner and they didnt have nothing to prepare for dinner in their menu. Is a good location maybe need also change the shower curtains because are rusty .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The shower head was leaking from the side and dispersing water from another angle. Had to readjust shower head to and make sure the water flow didn't leak out from the bathtub and onto the floor.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Charge to much tax in the restaurant, other restaurants in the street don’t charge you tax. I don’t know why.

- Bp (10/5): - We stayed here because it was walking distance to the bus terminal. Everything was very nice. The restaurant at the top floor had a great view, this was also where breakfast was served which was nice and had many options.
- Sandman (8/5): - 👍 Nice view from the bar/dining area. My room was always cleaned. 👎 Staff at lobby needs better training and manners. Tour department is not competent.
