• Alaap (10/5): - Great location, very close to the downtown and good food spots. The host was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for a stay within the historic district.
• Fiona (10/5): - A wonderful hotel in a very convenient location, close to cafes, bars and shops. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and cleaned daily. Thoughtful and tasteful decor, loved the toiletries provided. Fridge and coffee machine in room. This was an absolute gem of a find and we would love to return to Bordeaux to stay here again, Thank you!

• Danielle and Bruce (8/5): Cute Hotel - Great location. People on the desk were fantastic and their English was very good. Gave lots of tips and recommendations. You have to keep the mini fans on all night otherwise it gets way too hot and I usually run cold.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice room but a bit noisy - The room is nice and clean. The location is great other than next to a construction site that was noisy from 7:00am.
• Larry (4/5): - Staff were incredible and tried to make our stay tolerable, BUT the lack of air conditioning was really unfortunate as it was over 80 degrees when we were there and the sun shone directly into our room. Even with drapes closed it was impossible to cool the room down. Unfortunately we only could stay one night and had to relocate to another hotel for the remainder of our trip. Our room was unbelieveably small as you can see by the photo and the shower felt more like a coffin than a shower. Truly unfortunate. Location was great, but there are better options in the area.
• María De La Luz (8/5): - Location is great, just in the border of the city center. People at the reception at all times were super nice, friendly and helpful. The bad points, room was very hot at nights, no AC, only floor fans. Our suggestions, there are portable AC units. Buy some.

• Oliver (10/5): - Super friendly staff. The only thing missing - an air conditioning. We know, they are trying to be eco friendly - but with 30+ degrees it got really hot.

• Diana (10/5): - Lovely Botique Hotel. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Room had an amazing view of one of the historical arches. We did the Wine Museum tour on the host's recommended which was amazing. Room clean, bed comfortable, walkable distance from the Tram, local cafes and shops.

• Lori (8/5): - Great location to explore the beautiful city. Travelled with a friend and we had separate rooms - both classic. Mine was extremely small and tired in comparison to her room. Again, only my room, but found it quite noisy. I could hear the programming - tv from the adjacent room and when people arrived above me each night it was very loud. The staff were amazing and you can’t beat the location. I’m giving it a 4.

The room & bath were super small - self-Inflicted wound since they posted the square footage but don't book the classic room unless you can handle 130 square feet. We traveled all over Europe and are accustomed to small rooms but this was super small and we're small people. The hotel was nice and it was in the pedestrian zone but not a good value at $165 a night.

• Mikael (10/5): jättefint litet hotell - Mycket trevligt litet hotell med perfekt läge i gamla staden. Med affärer och restauranger runt hörnet. Receptionen var bemannad dygnet runt trots att hotellet var så litet vilket ger en extra trygghet. Kaffe och te på rummet utan kostnad. Kommer gärna tillbaka vid nästa besök i Bordeaux.
• Jennifer (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful! The hotel was clean, the bed comfy, and shower hot (although small). The property is located perfectly to walk the inner city. A short distance to great dining options and bars.
• Karin Maria (6/5): - Unser Zimmer war Richtung Innenhof. Man konnte das Fenster aufgrund des dominanten Geruch vom Restaurant daneben nicht öffnen. Gerade in warmen Monaten ist das sehr einschränkend. Der Geruch ist wirklich sehr störend, natürlich trägt das Hotel keine Schuld aber man könnte das Zimmer wenigstens vergünstigt anbieten.

• James (10/5): Excellent Hotel Madame Bordeaux - Great stay at Hotel Madame in the centre of Bordeaux. Very close to the key sites and walking distance to an airport tram and all the main streets and eating places. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Bordeaux for a few nights. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout. Room was compact, but clean, comfortable and with a delightful view over the streets below and park.

• stephen (4/5): - The property looked nothing like the photo. The entrance is on a small side street, and the hotel does not have a restaurant or bar. The lobby was the size of a postage stamp. The rooms are small, and the facilities are in a tiny room separated from the bath. I would not recommend staying there.

Was very hot when we were there - there is no air conditioning, although several fans in the room did a reasonable job at keeping things cool. Would definitely stay again!

We visited the end of May The staff were very helpful and friendly and provided us great suggestions for activities and places to eat. This is definitely on our short list to return to

My room was a beautifully appointed « Madame » room honoring the great blues singer, Nina Simone, with photographs of her on the wall. I love the idea of room themes based on famous women!

• Ernst (8/5): Fin Service - Ualmindelig imødekommende, venlig og serviceminded! Receptionisten startede med at anbefale forskellige udflugtsmål, orienterede om området, og, da hun erfarede vi var fra Danmark, spurgte om vi skulle hjem med morgenflyveren - det var nemlig sådan at lufthavnsbussen ikke kørte så tidligt, så vi skulle med taxi. Men, hun havde netop talt med et andet dansk par, så måske hun skulle spørge om vi skulle dele en taxi? - Det blev arrangeret ved hendes mellemkomst - meget fin service.
