Guest Reviews
- Ann (8/5): - location, clean and staff were excellent lack of elevator and no help with suitcase
- ChipG124 (10/5): Rare Gem - My wife and I were making our first trip to Palm Beach and we booked the Inn based on the central location. What a great decision! The Inn was everything we hoped for and more. We were greeted by Victoria, who immediatly made us feel right at home and accomodated all of our requests and questions. Victoria's service was outstanding. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was clean and neat. We loved it.
Best of all, you could easily travel to all of the great Palm Beach locations such as Worth Avenue, the beach and the Flagler Museum. Parking is a bit of an issue but there are ways to navigate it.

- cameronhybels (2/5): Rip Off City! - This Hotel is not worth what they are charging …Zero amenities- Felt like staying at the YMCA! - We had to check for a 1 night stay and were throughly disappointed in what we paid VRs what we got in return , No-Parking-No Help with the Bags, Cases of Water laying everywhere , Small Rooms, Smaller Bathrooms, No Elevators, Zero amenities unless you count “Beach Chairs” that you have to Carry to the Beach, of all the Beautiful Hotels in Palm Beach, this is NOT one of them , there simply are charging what the other Hotels are charging because of the Name and Location, but your better staying elsewhere for what there charging here.
- Brown (10/5): A hidden gem - wish I had known about years ago - no frills but all you need done well. -
- Trek24290710802 (10/5): 10/10 location/service - Our quick trip to PBI was truly a 10/10 experience. This mother/daughter getaway was everything we hoped for—getting to see, shop, and soak in Palm Beach—and our stay at the Historic Inn made it even more special.
We felt so lucky to secure a room in such an incredible location. The room itself exceeded expectations: the sheets were some of the softest I’ve ever slept on, the A/C kept the room perfectly cool to our liking, and the ceiling fan added great airflow. The mini fridge was just the right size and super convenient.
Safety was also top-notch—we were given our own personal code for entry and exit, which made us feel completely secure throughout our stay.
The amenities were thoughtful and abundant: an open kitchen stocked with food and beverages, plus beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs available for guest use—everything you could need for a perfect beach day.
And the staff? Absolutely wonderful. Hospitality with a smile every time—so friendly, accommodating, and truly made us feel welcome.
If you’re heading to PBI, don’t think twice—book this location. It made our trip unforgettable.
- Michelle (10/5): Fabulous. Relaxing . - Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Palm beach . Down the block from the beach . You can walk everywhere Loved it!
- Elizabeth (9/5): -
- Norman (3/5): Disappointing - Good location, convenient Noisy, old refrigerator. Noisy fan in bathroom. Bed linens were poor, scratchy, had to ask for new sheets. Also for a historic inn, not much sense of history.
- Dominik (10/5): gerne wieder - Sehr freundlich, super Lage, sehr sauber und liebevoll alles.
- richardsE5896WZ (2/5): Rude and Atrocious Business Practices - My plane was cancelled because of the blizzard in New York. When I called to advise the hotel and request a refund, I was rudely told that "it's not our problem - you should have insurance". Atrocious business practice. Be careful.
- kennethwQ4642HP (10/5): Perfect Stay in the Sun! - Wonderful stay at the Palm Beach Historic Inn. Perfect location ,lovely room down the block from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops, great breakfast and treat bar available all day, very clean and welcoming. Highly recommended! Ken, NYC
- Jennifer (8/5): Nice property, clean, though small room and bathroom. Thumbs up! - Hotel was quiet, clean and in a safe part of town, and a very short walk from Wirth Avenue. Front desk staff was always friendly and offered to help. The room was tiny, though manageable. Wish there were an elevator since between the two of us we carried a total of just over 77 pounds in our luggage. Other issue was no on-premise parking, though the hotel did provide a parking pass that provided no cost parking about 2 blocks away.
- 239toddf (10/5): Great Location and Staff - We thoroughly enoyed our stay here! To begin, the staff were welcoming and very helpful. They made some excellent suggestions on things to see and do. We especially liked their recommended dining options. The rooms are spacious, nicely appointed and were very clean. The bedding was comfortable. The location is superb as you can easily walk to the beach or surrounding shopping/attractions. Highly recommend!
- Gabriela (10/5): -
- G9892SHsamuelr (2/5): Terrible and would not even check in. - The most terrible experience I ever had staying at any hotel. There was no parking and the entrance to the place was not even visible. The rooms viewed on line were absolutely terrible and I elected to drive 2 hours home rather than spend a night in such a cheap appearing hotel. I would suggest stay somewhere else in Palm Beach. This place should close. It was a joke trying to stay there. And its rooms look terrible. The worst Boutique hotel imaginable in my opinion.

- 520kernc (10/5): A Great Find in the Heart of Palm Beach - My husband and I stayed at the Palm Beach Historic Inn in December and absolutely loved it. The hotel is charming and full of character, with incredibly attentive and welcoming staff who made our stay feel special from start to finish. It’s perfectly located just one block from the beach, and we appreciated being able to take beach chairs and towels provided by the hotel.
Each day started with a help-yourself breakfast, and having snacks available throughout the day was a lovely extra touch. While there is no elevator, there is only one flight of stairs, which reminded us of many wonderful hotels we’ve stayed in throughout Europe.
Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, with high-quality bath products that added to the experience. The location truly can’t be beat—just one block from Worth Avenue, with fantastic shopping and restaurants right at your doorstep.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back again.

- Dr. Thorsten (10/5): Nice and cosy historic building, friendly and helpful people -
- Johannes (8/5): Nettes kleines Hotel in top Lage - Top Lage, freundliches Personal Alles ok
- Massimo (10/5): Love it !! - Everything was absolutely perfect and especially Jenna!
- Oksana (10/5): -
- DePutron (5/5): - No elevator. Stairs were difficult
- Denis (10/5): - A wonderful hotel right in the heart of the city. Perfect for walking around, with plenty of entertainment nearby. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are spacious and clean. I highly recommend this place it feels comfortable and homey.
- Louise (10/5): Perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect hotel - The warm welcoming and the beautiful 1920’s immaculate decor ❤️ Nothing
- Andres (9/5): -
- Xinxin (10/5): - Location, room/amenities, staff! Absolutely enjoyed my short stay here. Centrally located, a short walk to the beach, Worth Ave, restaurants, and $10 ride to WPB. The rooms are freshly renovated a few years ago, tastefully decorated and very clean, having all the modern conveniences while keeping the historic inn look. Complimentary snacks, bottled water, and soft drinks in the lobby are available all day. Drift next door offers a more substantial food and beverage breakfast menu. I didn’t get to use the beach chairs, umbrella, and bike rentals due to the weather but they look very nice. Last but certainly not the least, Tatiana at the front desk definitely made my stay incredibly pleasant. She is super friendly, caring, and helpful. I can’t wait until my next visit.
- brooke (10/5): - Great location. Walk everywhere. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. Cute hotel and quiet part of palm Beach. We would come back again.
- Barbara (10/5): - Room climate was controllable and worked seamlessly. Shopping was as expected in the heart of Palm Beach, high end products.
Front desk staff was exceptional, very informative and involved with all the lodgers I observed her assisting.
- Alicia (10/5): - Nice friendly staff
- milesthurston (10/5): A stay like this, you won’t want to miss. 🌴✨ - #PalmBeachHistoricInn
A coastal gem with timeless grace,
Warm smiles greet in every space.
Charm and comfort, sunlit bliss—
A stay like this, you won’t want to miss. 🌴✨
- Serhii (9/5): Comfortable stay, great location, wonderful host - The hotel is very charming, with beautiful surroundings and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Just a short walk through a lovely neighborhood leads you to the beach, which was a highlight of our stay. There’s also a fantastic coffee shop nearby where we enjoyed our morning coffee.
While the room itself feels a bit outdated, it was cozy, comfortable, and had plenty of character. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches—complimentary snacks available 24/7, as well as beach towels and chairs to take along for the day.
The host was incredibly kind and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a great location.
- Elisabeth (9/5): Lovely boutique style hotel - Loved the location
Loved our room
4 poster bed was a plus Bathroom was on the small side but everything was clean
Would be helpful for the hotel to be clear about parking arrangements on the property details - there is parking but it’s in the street, you need to find a non permit space & you have to download an app to pay. Think more info would help planning
- Lisa (10/5): - You can’t beat the location of this hotel. It’s right in the heart of this beautiful historic town - next to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Staff in wonderfully communicative and there is always a snack in the lobby. I couldn’t have asked for more.
- Zoltan (10/5): - Great hotel. Perfect location. Clean and beautiful rooms. Close to everything. Friendly helpful staff.
Highly recommended
- FRANCESCO BASSI (10/5): -
- Hector (10/5): - The staff very welcoming easy check in the beach is beautiful it’s in a beautiful historic part of Palm beach very much appreciated the complementary snack left out 24 hours and beach towels chairs and towels were a plus also amazing soap, shampoo, conditioner the inn was very quaint and I will definitely book again!
- andygelsonf (6/5): the smell of my childhood - It was a very beautiful experience. The room was super clean and organized with a smell that made me remember my grandmother's house when I visited her in the summer. The TV was a bit old and it caused me to have the window of my bathroom closed because it was in front of the service exit and people came and went. The small cafeteria was beautiful, but they gave us the cold croissant with everything inside, something that we didn't like very much.
- William (10/5): - Perfect Palm Beach Getaway: We booked the Palm Beach Historic Inn for a weekend getaway, and it far exceeded our expectations! The hotel was spotless, quiet, and charming. The staff was warm and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and well-kept, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short, easy walk to the beach, shops, and great dining options. Being in Palm Beach rather than West Palm Beach made all the difference, and we loved every moment of our stay. We can’t wait to return!
- Taly (10/5): - Such a beautiful hotel. Close to everything.
A few minutes walk to the beach, great cafe close by.
Love it will come back
- Mia (10/5): -

- France (10/5): just a lovely intimate hotel and very comfortable and precious - Very nice breakfast.
- Gail (8/5): Very good - Cute Inn There was only street parking and you had to pay with the park mobile app or pay $35 for a parking pass which you had to park by the beach hopefully you can get a spot and if you lose it you have to pay $1500
- Kyle (7/5): Definitely would stay here again. Thank you. - The location is great as close to beach and shopping. The stairs to our room only because I had a very heavy bag. The staff were great and helped me with it. Great staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Definitely will stay here again! - Beyond friendly staff & super quaint beach vibes. 10/10 recommend this historic experience, with this said be prepared for only stairs / no elevator
- U2463XZmikem (10/5): Nice Hotel - Clean rooms and friendly staff. This hotel is in the middle of everything. You can walk to restaurants and shopping. The beach is a block away. We enjoyed the location and the convenience of the hotel. We will definitely be back to stay again.
- vasander (2/5): Dumpy! - We paid $1,000 per night after seeing good reviews on Tripadvisor. Not comfortable leaving such a negative review but wanting others to know what this place is like before committing. Its furnished and finished in the cheapest way possible. The bathroom was dumpy-minimal counter space, shower plumbing fixtures pulling off the wall, doors not closing all the way. Room was the same-stains on the couch, junky refrigerator next to a junky desk. A colossal disappointment.
- jennifersZ7817DN (10/5): Best Stay in Palm Beach ever! - This was the best trip we have made to Palm Beach. The hotel was perfect for us. Quiet, elegant, home like and in the PERFECT location. Crystal created us on our first day. She was so friendly and courteous as all of the staff at Palm Beach Historic Inn were. She carried my heavy luggage up the steps for me, which was very helpful because I have back issues. The accommodated my claustrophobia and gave us a room close to the exit. The rooms are charming and make you feel like you have stepped into old Palm Beach. We stayed 3 nights and had the most wonderful time. Every need was anticipated before we had a need. Breakfast, coffee and snacks available all day and a little courtyard to sit and enjoy your snacks and meals. We have been to Palm Beach often, but have never had a better time. We will be back next year. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable. We can not wait to see you again. Jennifer & Bill
- Vernon (2/5): - Very difficult to find parking never saw a live person attending desk
If someone is not physically fits stairs to get to rooms very steep dangerous
- Kei (10/5): - Really cute hotel. Very nice staff. Great location. Needs some upgrading as far as hallway carpet and bathrooms but would stay here again.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michele (10/5): - It really is my favorite place to stay in Palm Beach.
- Brad (10/5): - Great
- Amar (2/5): - The whole building Creeks when you walk. The garbage collection trucks come at 7:30 a.m. and make extremely loud noises. The bed is horrible and super cheap. I was not able to get a wink of sleep. It's a great location but the owners have not spent a dime on the property over the last 100 years. I knew that I'm going into a older property but I did not expect such horrible mattresses. The bathrooms are so tiny that there's no way to get around the door because the sink and the door have a gap of 6 in when you try to go to the tub!!! The reception service was the worst. I lost my key I had to wait for over an hour before somebody on the phone figured it out and told me to go into a safe and get it.
- Stephanie (8/5): Great place for enjoyable weekend - Great location
Spacious well/appointed room
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Tali (5/5): Not recommend - Location All the rest
- Mario (10/5): - Nice place
