- Lawrence (4/5): - There was no breakfast...it is served Sat and Sun only; found that out after checking in and wandering into kitchen to find a glass There was 1 parking space as advertised; had to park on street; while enroute was emailed a code to get in..it was all self service; never met the 'host', unless it was a man in a room just off the kitchen (who knows). A couple across the hall were loud into wee hours of morning; my room had a bath..toilet with sink outside in bedroom; 1 shower for what I counted ..5.. rooms. However, bed was comfortable and 'clean'... I can't complain about that, but it was not what I expected from a B&B; Guess you get what you pay for...but not knowing the area, had little choice. Would not stay again..would drive to some town with a hotel

- Randall (4/5): - I intentionally waited a few days to post this. I have never posted a negative review. This is a very old building with, believecitvir not, skeleton keys for the individual rooms. I went out to dinner and came back and could not open the lock. After 15 minutes of trying i texted the owners who are not onsite and the entire process seems to be remote. After a few minutes with no response i texted them again and questioned their dedication to customer service. A minute or two later a man stormed onto the scene and was extremely mad. He immediately verbally attacked me for qyestioning his dedication to customer service, told me he was not responding because he was out walking his dog and, as he was having difficulty himself opening the room, suggested that i had broken the 100 year old lock. When i countered that perhaps it might have something to do with the ancient mechanism itself he became even more upset. If you like old houses that are clean, have one bathroom to be shared by 4 bedtooms and is run by a couple of exciteable middle age men then this place us for you.

- Alex (10/5): - The Parsonage was very cool, I stayed in the Olympus room, and the place had a fun old timey feel. Everything was clean and even though the place was obviously old it has been excellently maintained. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed. The bathroom was clean and there were plenty of snacks in the kitchen. Having to share the bathroom caught me off guard. I didn’t remember reading about that when I booked the room. I only stayed one night so I skipped the shower but if I was staying longer I would have been very nervous about preventing someone from using the restroom if they needed it urgently. A half bath (toilet and sink) would be an excellent addition. I will happily stay here again and definitely recommend it.

Don’t stay here unless you want to feel like you’ve smoked 30 packs of cigarettes and walked through mud just to get to the your room from the shower. If you do stay here make sure to bring Lysol spray, Clorox wipes and some shower shoes along with you! I booked a month stay at this disgusting place due to work, and I couldn’t even stay in that room a couple of hours because my asthma was acting up due to the smoke smell that was horrrriiiiblllee. The sheets smelt like they weren’t washed just sprayed with fabreeze. Then when I tried to tell the owner that I couldn’t stay there he rejected my refund and kept my 1200 dollars (I didn’t even spend the night, had to find something at 7pm after a long day at work) like what if I didn’t have any more money to find a clean place? What upset me the most was the fact that they were so unprofessional, they didn’t want to talk on the phone I called them and they kept hanging up, they just texted me when I was explaining my issues and then they had the audacity to call me a liar and a scam because I was asking for MY MONEY BACK. Over all zero stars I WILL NEVER RECOMEND THIS PLAVE NOR STAY THERE. Truly disappointed! DO BETTER AND MAYBE FIND A BETTER MAINTENANCE MAN BECAUSE WHY DOESNT YOUR BATHROOM HAVE an ACTUAL FLOOR GROSSS and unsafe.

- Robert (2/5): They should have paid me to stay in this toilet! - I have never stayed anywhere so disappointing. They call it a B&B yet they don't serve breakfast during the week. They don't tell you clearly that you don't have your own bathroom. The shared bathroom floor is just a dirty sub floor. No ice. No water in rooms. No milk or coffee creamer -- just off brand powder. Cluttered. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. The cigarette smoke from the front porch permeates the first floor. They should be ashamed at what they are trying to pass off!

- Tiffany (6/5): Overall Disappointing - We stayed for one night while in town for a concert. Check-in was easy, albeit odd. We just helped ourselves to the property and room. Nobody was physically there to welcome or verify our identity. The house is charming and decorated with nice antiques, plants, and has games and movies to use. All that was fine, but the common area felt kind of dusty and dark. We stayed in the Olympus room. The room itself was decent, but upon entering the trash was 1/2 full with previous occupants trash, and the king bed was not comfortable at all. We could feel the springs and the bed tilted toward the feet and dipped heavily into the middle. The property is undergoing some renovations which we were unaware of until we were at the property. The bathroom floor is ripped out to subfloor. The breakfast is nothing like the photos and definitely not “gourmet”. It was dropped off into the “kitchen” in containers and was self serve. It was scrambled eggs with cheese on top, bread and bagels, sausage links, store-bought donuts, and some fried potatoes that were gritty and dry. A keurig was available for use but no other breakfast beverages. It was a place to stay and rest while we were in town, but overall, we were disappointed.

- Tonia (10/5): - I loved the uniqueness of the place. Decorated with antiques that are both beautiful and functional. When I stayed, I was the only tenant. Although, I think it would have been fun to participate in the family- style breakfast, they didn't disappoint for a single person. Country ham, hard-boiled eggs, pastries, fruit, coffee and juice. More than enough and such a good variety. The facility is located in a quiet neighborhood and I slept soundly throughout the night. I would absolutely stay again.

- ricke326 (4/5): Not a Five Star Experience - There’s not many places to stay in this sleepy little town so from that perspective the Parsonage is okay. But we had electrical issues with the window air conditioning which jumped from room to room. It was a hot day which probably taxed the older systems. Breakfast was pop tarts, hard boiled eggs, granola bars, and toast. The single bathroom has a shower is that is in a quaint tub with a difficult water flow. The house has clean floors but a deeper clean would probably benefit future reviews.

- Oksana (6/5): Great for students but limited use for adult coupl - The B&B is located in a rather small house. The first floor looks wonderful with Victorian furniture. We booked Moroccan room sleeping 6 - it was a 3rd floor with colorful throws and pillows covering up a full bed and a mattress on the floor. It would not sleep 6 adults but can be a fun stay for kids. My biggest turnoff was a single bathroom for 3 floors. Overall, 3 couples stayed there so it would have been a line the entire evening. The bathtub was old so I would hesitate to shower there.

- Jeremy (10/5): Wonderful family memories - This place was adorable. Excellent communication, easy check in and out, beautiful breakfast. Our family enjoyed playing games and piano the night we were here. Great memories!
- Robert (10/5): Half way to Virginia - I decided to split my road trip from Michigan to Virginia and spent a restful night at the BandB. Jason was very friendly and helpful. Shared bathroom not a problem (I was only tenant for the night, but would be ok). Price was excellent and included a massive breakfast! Young cat is reasonably friendly. I would stay again.

We are currently looking up things to do in Leechburg just so we can stay in the top room in the Bnb. The food was excellent, the stay was cozy, the host was so kind.
- Janet L (4/5): - We liked the antiques. We disliked the absence of handicapped bathroom facilities; the bathtub is unsafe for older folks. Five rooms to rent and only one bathroom for everyone to share? Needs to be more modernized (electrical safety).

- Alyson (10/5): - We had a great stay at The Old Parsonage Inn. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and it was so cozy, and the decor in the Inn was so cool! You can really tell how historical the place is, it’s gorgeous. The hosts are absolutely lovely, offering a fantastic made to order breakfast menu and even more fantastic communication. Self check in was super convenient as well. One of the hosts was even kind enough to give us a ride up the road to pick up our car that we had to leave over night at a wedding venue. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area! It was so great and we loved it!
- Sandra (4/5): - Thing is, room was clean enough. Owner seemed nice via text, and had we stayed, I'm sure the breakfast would have been fine. THERE IS ONE BATHROOM IN THE WHOLE BnB! ALL GUESTS SHARE ONE BATHROOM. This detail is buried in the listed amenities, vs. highlighted. YOU ARE SHARING THE SAME SHOWER WITH everyone staying there. Is that even legal! Hostel Listing at Best.
- Tecla (2/5): - This isn't what I was expecting- I was hoping for charm and something unique, not a dirty house with mismatched Salvation Army furniture and a shared bathroom for 3 rooms??? We had to leave immediately and had to get a normal hotel room.

- Ted (8/5): - Our stay here was very nice. Its such a unique place. The property was sold the day before we arrived. The new owners are wonderful and excited to make some updates. Breakfast was terrific. We were gone every day visiting relatives, but enjoyed returning to the old parsonage. The only problem was the one bathroom, but we managed and new owners are planning to add on. Overall, a good experience.

The Innkeeper John Truitt goes well beyond any expectation to ensure your stay is memorable. The only sad part is John has sold this place and the closing is set for May 24, 2023. Thank you John.

- Thomas (10/5): A grand old landmark historic property - A made-to-order breakfast each morning was the pinnacle of service! The rooms are well stocked, comfortable with all the supplies. Walking distance to attractions and excellent food!

- M4169BFericb (8/5): Interesting property in a sleepy town - The house is very historic and interesting. Room was comfortable but not luxurious. Breakfast in the old church was a unique experience. Host was personable but maybe shares a bit too much for our tastes.
