• Amaiacid (9/5): - El Riad es muy bonito. Está un poco difícil de acceder , y por ello recomendamos que os vayan a buscar al aeropuerto y os lleven el primer día para saber como llegar. El desayuno era estupendo. Quizá que puede ser un poco lioso encontrarlo, pero si os esperan en la xalle principal luego se aprende rápido.

• Marina (10/5): Absolute Empfehlung !! - Das Personal war zuvorkommend uns super freundlich. Transfer vom und zum Flughafen war unkompliziert und wir wurden persönlich zur Unterkunft geführt. Zur Begrüßung erhielten wir Tee und das Riad ist wirklich traumhaft schön. Auch das Zimmer war sauber. Die Lage ist sehr zentral mitten in den Souks was Vor- und Nachteile hat aber im Riad war es ruhig und vom Personal ist rund um die Uhr jemand da. Frühstück enthält alle Traditionellen süßen Speisen und auf Wunsch gibt es Omlette, Tee und Kaffe. Es wurde uns sogar einmal auf Wunsch zum Mitnehmen zubereitet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt Großes Dankeschön und absolut zu empfehlen!!! Keine Probleme
• Reet (9/5): A very nice stay! - Location is excellent, I am glad we chose a Riad in medina, not a hotel in some new part of the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful about everything we asked them. Riad is very authentic in every sense so you can learn a lot about local peoples life. We spent a whole week in the Riad, so may be the breakfast could have been not the very same in every morning. But if it is the tradition in Morocco, then let it be :)

• Szonja (10/5): Gorgeous Riad, close to everything, delicious breakfast, friendly staff - I couldn’t be happier about staying in this Riad. It was for sure a better experience than staying in a regular hotel. The whole place was gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious. Everything was in a walking distance from the Riad and although it’s in a noisy area, the Riad was still quiet and calm. The staff were the nicest people I’ve ever met. Also I‘d like to mention the young gentleman whose name I sadly forgot to ask, but he was an absolute legend and I wish him all the best!! (He may remember us as the „electrician dad“ haha) Thank you so much again! -

• Monique (10/5): Een fantastische en gastvrije plek om bij te komen van alle drukte in de medina. - De gastvrijheid, zeker een 10+! We hadden een taxi geregeld via de riad en dat was perfect geregeld. Door de eigenaar werden we opgehaald van de afzet locatie omdat de riad niet bereikbaar is met de auto. Service perfect van alle medewerkers! Variërend van een praatje over je dag tot een leuk ontbijt met wisselende broodjes en een schone kamer maar ook de rest van de kleurrijke riad. De eerste keer waren we onder de indruk van de straatjes om de riad te bereiken. Eerst door de authentieke markt en daarna door een paar smalle straatjes. Maar er is niemand die je aanspreekt of lastig valt. Dat was op veel andere plekken wel het geval.

Merci à tout le monde ❤️ Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux. Le riad est pour ma part bien placé, au calme de la médina. Les souks sont à proximité, moins de 5mn à pied. Les prises en charge pour les excursions à 5mn également. Rien à redire 😁

We ordered food for the evening, and it was incredibly delicious, even tastier than in restaurants. The location is great, halfway between the Medina and the Gueliz district. I highly recommend it. Очень хороший отель. Очень понравилось. Очень хороший персонал. Мы заказывали еду на вечер , и это было невероятно вкусно , вкуснее даже чем в ресторанчиках . Расположение шикарное , по середине между Мединой и районом Gueliz. Я очень рекомендую.

• nathalie (9/5): Parfait. - Un accueil plus que parfait, des personnes très attentionnées, notamment Oussama. Des petits déjeuners extraordinaires, des repas copieux et tres bien cuisinés . Un cadre de vie au-delà de nos esperances situé dans un environnement typique et proche des souks. Une décoration tres réussie. Excellente adresse. Juste histoire de dire quelque chose : un isolation phonique un peu juste, mais à relativiser si l'on veut une décoration typique de ces lieux. Les massages mériteraient d'être plus doux pour en apprécier le caractère relaxant annoncé.

• Nina (10/5): Merveilleux - Le personnel nous a réservé un accueil des plus chaleureux et dévoué, que nous n’avons jamais vécu auparavant ! Le Riad est magnifique, les chambres d’une propreté impeccable et d’un vrai confort ! Tout est pensé pour que l’on se sente très bien et tout est anticipé pour que l’on ne manque de rien ! Le service de restauration sur place est fabuleux, nous avons partagé les meilleurs repas et petits déjeuners de tout notre séjour. Nôtre hôte a été d’une gentillesse incroyable et nous a recommandé de belles adresses et sites à visiter. Je recommande cet établissement les yeux fermés et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! • Jousselme (10/5): - Nous quittons le Riad Ben Tachfine avec les larmes aux yeux… C’est rare de rencontrer des personnes aussi incroyables, et ici, nous avons trouvé bien plus qu’un simple lieu pour dormir : une véritable famille de cœur. Un immense merci à Oussama, une personne en or, toujours attentionné, bienveillant et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Mais aussi à Ali et Hamet, qui ont été incroyablement adorables avec nous dès le premier jour. Toute l’équipe a fait preuve d’une hospitalité comme on en voit peu : toujours à nous demander si nous avions besoin de quelque chose, à nous conseiller, nous accompagner, nous rassurer quand on avait besoin d’aide… Leur présence a rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Le riad en lui-même est magnifique, chaleureux, décoré avec goût, et parfaitement situé à quelques minutes de la place Jemaa el-Fna. Mais ce qui fait vraiment toute la différence, c’est l’humain. On est sincèrement tristes de partir, tant on s’y est sentis bien et accueillis. Merci du fond du cœur à toute l’équipe. Si vous cherchez un lieu où l’on vous traite comme des invités précieux, foncez les yeux fermés.

• Ines (8/5): Schönes zentrales Riad - Netter Empfang mit Tee und Informationen. Schönes Riad, zentral gelegen. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer sauber. Frühstück sehr gut und reichhaltig. Der Zugang abends. Waren auf sog. Portier angewiesen, da das Riad geschlossen wurde und die Gäste keinen Schlüssel für das Außentor und die Haustür hatten. Der Portier schlief sehr fest.... und weder Klingel, Klopfen noch Handy konnten ihn " zeitnah" wecken. So standen wir oft mit anderen Gästen vor der Tür und warteten 10-30 min. auf den Einlass....
• Rianne (9/5): Prachtige Riad en een zeer fijn verblijf. - De service was top. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was heerlijk! We vonden de Riad prachtig mooi, boven op het dakterras was gelegenheid om even lekker te zonnen. Wij vonden het hier geweldig!
• Hubertus (9/5): Erg fijne riad om Marrakesh te verkennen en uitstapjes te maken. - De riad was erg netjes en sfeervol ingericht. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Op onze vragen en verzoeken werd adequaat gereageerd. Het diner op de avond van onze aankomst was voortreffelijk. Het personeel is erg aardig en zeer klantgericht. De locatie aan de rand van de medina is erg geschikt. Er is 24 uur iemand op de receptie aanwezig. De toegangsweg via Derb Ennakhla was niet zo prettig en zou kiezen voor Rue el Gza. De thermostaatkranen van de douches werken niet goed en het duurde lang om warm water te krijgen.
• Pierre (3/5): Bezahlt aber nicht dort geblieben, ging leider nicht für uns - Die Bilder entsprechen nicht dem Zustand vor Ort, wir haben bezahlt aber nicht dort übernachtet. im Erdgeschoss müffeln die Zimmer. Haben uns auch ein Zimmer im 1. obergeschoss angesehen, nicht viel besser. Die Dusche war auch schon in Jahre gekommen. Alles in Allem… das Personal vor Ort ist extrem bemüht die Gäste zu Unterstützen, dieLage ist abenteuerlich, ( Kreuzberg 3. Hinterhof). allerdings haben wir uns nie unsicher gefühlt, alle Leute , gross wie klein, sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer das Abenteuer sucht und nicht so empfindlich ist für denjenigen passt das alles schon.. Ausstattung, Zustand der Zimmer

• Valia (10/5): - It was a wonderful stay! The staff are very friendly and super helpful with any of your questions. The location is great - a short walk to the centre of the medina. The riad is beautiful, so quiet and tranquil. A peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The room was very comfortable - firm bed and spacious. Would 100% stay here again. Nothing. It was perfect. Some people mention the location is in a small alleyway but this is typical of a lot of riads in Marakesh and I never felt unsafe as a solo female traveler.

Chambre un peu sombre mais confortable. Une communication au top, des petits déjeuners délicieux. Une position très interressante dans la médina, proche des soucks. Un voisinage très poli (même chez les enfants!) Des clients qui ne respectent pas la tranquilité des lieux et qui ont le verbe très haut même en pleine nuit. Mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'équipe du riad.

• Marcelo (9/5): Beautiful riad in the northern part of the medina - This riad is a beautifully restored building. The staff is very helpful. We loved chatting with Achmed about Moroccan culture and learned so much from him. The neighborhood feels very local, away from most of the touristic places but within walking distance of everything that we were interested to see. We would come here again any day! The moroccan eat a lot of sweet things for breakfast. In this riad the breakfast is traditional moroccan. This part we could have skipped. In fact we did most of our stay ;-)

• Kraus (8/5): We enjoyed our stay, and want to give a special thanks to the staff who made it worthwhile. - It’s a beautiful hotel with a nice bathroom and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was a wide spread and plenty for a good base to start your day on. A thing we didn’t take into account was that the hotel was located at the very back of an alleyway which at night can seem creepy if not expected. It’s located in an actual neighborhood with little tourism and very real lives of the native people. It was a bit overwhelming but it is completely safe.

• Salina (10/5): A comfortable home in the heart of the Medina - The staff were so lovely, always at our service and exceeded expectations. Definitely lovely. The location wasn’t the best but staff remedied this by escorting us to locations which was perfect.

• Kouwenhoven (3/5): Poor - Nice rooms and friendly staff The rooms was more than €100 per night and it absolutely smelled like sewage. It was horrible. The staff confirmed and apologized for the situation, apparently it has rained the day before and the sewage had come up. I asked for another room which was not possible and we had to spend the night in a horrible smell. Still had to pay the full price, the staff was helpful but said the owner did not want to compensate for the situation.

• Gabor (8/5): We enjoyed being here: thank you Ahmad! - In comparison with many other hotels (riads) in the same range, it was quiet and comfortable. Helpful and kind staff. Great thanks to Ahmad for all the recommendations of restaurants, money changers and so on: even reminding us not to carry our phohnes in a back pocket lest it gets stolen! (It didn't.) It's not that we didn't like it, but it's worth mentioning that the property is in a different state now than when the photos were taken. It's still comfortable and clean, though.

• Eva (5/5): It was not what we expected - The overall atmosphere of the place is exotic and friendly. If you want to be in the middle of the messy Medina, this location is a good option. Definitely not a 4 star accomodation. It looks and feels like it did not have a good cleaning for ages, just the daily touch ups. Worn down and dusty everywhere. The breakfast is ok, the same every day. Ordered airport service, on the way back - they simply forgot my request - I had to take a cab although I paid for the ride already. Although I requested a breakfast for 7.30 on the day of departure, we had to leave without it - since it was just simply not ready. Some of the staff members are really nice and try their best, but the riad just has not meet our -not very high - expectations.

• Sergio (8/5): Fantastic staff and location but poor Wi-Fi - My friend and I stayed at Riad Ben Tachefine for a week. The staff was very welcoming since before our arrival, and contacted me well before our stay to offer some additional services (taxi for the pick-up, and traditional dinner at the riad) and advices. Despite these services have an additional cost, I appreciated the fact they offered them anyway. The riad is conveniently located in a small alleyway near one of the Medina’s door. It takes a short walk to get to the Suks and some of the main attractions. The interior offers a beautiful showcase of traditional Moroccan riads and each element provides an exotic sense of authenticity. Rooms are a bit dark since they have windows on the internal cortile but no windows on the side of the road, but again this appears to be typical of Moroccan Riads. On the ground floor, there is a reception with staff letting guests in and out; a beautiful cortile where they serve breakfast/meals and a SPA. On the first floor there are 4 rooms and another space where guests can sit and relax. Finally, there is a terrace with sunbeds on the second floor where guests can relax and enjoy a nice Moroccan sunbath. The complimentary Moroccan breakfast is absolutely amazing and changes every day to allow guests to try different Moroccan foods. It’s served on a traditional metal stand with three different layers. On the bottom tray, there are 4 different Moroccan dishes; on the medium layer there are several condiments (jams, yogurt, honey, etc.), and on the top layer there’s usually another sweet treat. We did not try the dinner so I am unable to comment on that. Staff was always there to help. From answering the door, to providing advice and helpful tips. At some point, we needed laundry service and the staff arranged it for us at a small price. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn’t good and we were not able to use it during the busiest hours of the day when the hotspots were eventually congested. It was working fine early morning and during the night, but during the day there was no way to use it. Also the room did not have liquid body wash as the Riad provided traditional soap bars that were a bit too squishy and difficult to use, and for which we needed to request a new one every time we consumed one. Apart from this, both my friend and I personally enjoyed staying at the Riad and can definitely recommend it.
• Ashleigh (9/5): Fabulous stay at Riad Ben Tachfine! - The best part of our stay at Riad Ben Tachfine was the staff. Ashraf and Ahmed were both so friendly and helpful, they made sure we had everything we needed, including packing up a takeaway breakfast for us when we had to checkout early. They also organised a pickup from the airport for us which went smoothly and Ashraf came to pick us up from the taxi and escorted us to the hotel. The location was great, only a 15-20 minute walk to the main square and there were plenty of restaurants very close by which made it so convenient. Our room was spacious, had plenty of storage and was cleaned every day. Breakfast was delicious and we got plenty of food. The Riad had a gorgeous roof terrace that was so peaceful to chill out on and escape the chaos of Marrakech! Our only issue was the bed was very hard which affected our sleep. Also, as I'm sure is the case with other Riads, the walls are very thin which means it gets noisy. Make sure you take earplugs (luckily we did so this wasn't really a problem for us!).

• Teofi (10/5): Stay here for a full experience of the beautiful Marrakesh - Staff was lovely! All of them were super kind and helpful. The hotel is also really comfy and the area is very safe, we could walk around without any issue (even at night) and even locals were always friendly and welcoming. The birds singing in the morning :D but for this you can’t do much about it but to get up earlier! (Besides they’re really cute -see photo -)

• Chrys (10/5): A delightful experience - would stay again - Serene and tranquil Riad amoungst the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Ahmed the front of house guy gave us all the tips on getting about, and what to do and not do. Really useful stuff, and helped the taxi driver find the location. All the staff were amazing. Nothing
