- Nathan (1/5): - Rented two units. One unit was contaminated with black mold. Could not be used. Health hazard. Booking.com was useless. Followed booking.com protocol for resolution. That process led nowhere. Will never book through this platform again. Bryce resort is a nice place. Been coming for years. Avoid the Chalet High units!

- David (8/5): We had a very relaxing weekend and enjoyed our time here. - The location was amazing. On clear nights we could see the beautiful night sky full of stars. We brought our own food and ate out once at the restaurant on the site, which was really good with an amazing view. Former reviews claimed the beds were very uncomfortable, but they have since put mattress toppers on them and were very comfortable. The appliances looked old but were all in great condition and worked like new. The house was huge and comfortable. We loved the indoor pool (although the water had a lingering odor on my hair that was hard to ignore.), the community room and dvds and games were fun. We went at the end of October which was prime time for the fall colors. There were playgrounds on the property and even a library and small airport runway we visited to watch the planes come and go, which we loved. Great for kids and lots of outside places to play and explore with amazing views. The house and bedding reaked of bleach when we arrived so much so i use my own blankets and pillows from home. The water also smelled like sewage (as someone else mentioned although just barely) and brought our own drinking water. It didn’t have any basics like salt or oil in the kitchen but did have basics for cooking like cups/plates/bowls, pot, pan and utensils. For it being a resort there isnt much but an indoor pool and golf to offer; id say a hotel is better way to call it. Master bathroom bathtub stopper didn’t work.
- Karen (9/5): A fabulous 3 day get-a-way reunion with a friend! - The staff, especially Tammy was kind, knowledgeable and attentive. We loved the pool and hot tub. The big windows in living room and master BR was fabulous. The fall leaves and the small brook were a beautiful. The 3BR Condo was very spacious and met our needs. I recommend Chalet High for a nice simple vacation. My daughter is coming to stay during ski season. Thank you! Upon arrival, and after a 6 hour drive, the chalet pedestal we rented was undergoing porch replacement! A replacement of a 3 BR was available and satisfied our needs. The office receptionist did a good job in finding us a replacement with wonderful views and a brook. The MBR porch was used daily but the 2 chairs are worn. The lower outer deck furniture; table and chairs were new and very comfortable.

- Bradley (10/5): Great Option for Local Biking - This is my go to place when biking in Bryce. The townhouses are kept immaculate and the kitchens are great. It’s an easy bike ride or walk to Bryce and a short drive to Pale Fire brewing or the Burn Barrel. The pool is nice as well. Super great value if you got Basye often for biking.

Dish washer and coffee makers didn’t work great but the rest of the kitchen was fine. We have 3 cabins for 11 and it worked out nicely. There were cats and deer we saw on property. We hung out towels to dry and enjoyed the deck on the mid level.

- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - This was a three bedroom 2.5 bath. 2 level condo. Well maintained with tremendous views and a walk to a decent place to eat and a friendly atmosphere. All of these back to a creek with buffering trees and the front nine of the Bryce Golf course. It was very relaxing and quiet. It was a hidden jewel.

Heated, salt water with the hot tub right next to it which made it easy to watch the kids swim. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the pool and activities close very early. Both nights it closed at 5. I would definitely stay here again. Luray caverns was a hit.

- Susan (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing stay in Bryce - We had a comfortable, relaxing stay at Chalet High. Our townhouse unit was located on the golf course with a pleasant view. The unit decor is dated but the unit was clean. The full kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. The queen bed was comfortable. The twins in the second bedroom were just ok. The master bath has a shower and a hot tub. We did not use the community ammenties ie pool. This unit is about 1 mile from the ski slopes and the restaurant.

- Emily (6/5): - Love these units, however it is almost impossible to find the unit numbers on the doors once it is dark out. The doors are dark green with black numbers- it is really odd that they wouldn't change the color since there are so many complaints and in order to see the numbers you have to pull into each section and shine ur headlights at each door since there aren't street lights. Also it was so freezing downstairs in the master bedroom but scorching hot in the upstairs bedroom. I guess it needs some updates but either way it is a nice vacation and very resourceful unit with everything you need for cooking, cleaning, etc.

- Keith (8/5): - *Bring your own groceries. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was easy for us to make all of our meals. Also, you may want to bring plenty of bottle water for drinking and cooking. The hot water heater hadn't been flushed in a long time (maybe never). The hot water had some sediment and smelled of Sulphur. *There are only a few restaurants within 5 miles (15-20 minutes) and none of them are much of anything. *The 3 floor unit only has one hvac unit. The ground floor and the upper floor were nice and warm. Downstairs was notably cooler. The email we received from the property prior to arrival suggested that they only supply a limited amount of blankets. We found that what they had available was plenty sufficient for January. *Lighting in the rental unit could be improved. *They have an electric heater fireplace in the living on the ground floor but it is enclosed and therefore provides no heat.

We shopped at the nearby Food Lion and cooked our meals seven out of ten days, our kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of great antique stores. We'll see you next year!

- sally (10/5): - Local staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. Only minor issue - we checked in after dark. Unit numbers were hard to see from the road. Maybe some reflective paint? Not a real ding and certainly not a problem during daylight hours. We'll be back!

- Youpaporn (7/5): Good - Clean, spacious room. There was Wi-Fi in the room even though their email said Wi-Fi is available only in common area. The pool and sauna were closed for maintenance during my stay. The place is kind of old and sliding screen door in king bedroom doesn't work.

They were a little hard to get hold of at first when we had a problem with our reservation and needed to make some changes, but once we got in contact they bent over backwards to help us out, and we couldn't have been more pleased!
- Shannon (2/5): Needs updates, but very spacious for large groups - Close to Bryce and set on a golf course, it was a nice environment. The condo was very large enough for a large family and then some. Everything was pretty dated. The decor hasn’t been updated since the 80s. The pool and sauna and shower facilities were old as well. They had a lounge still offering rental movies which felt even more dated.

- Jane (10/5): Highly Recommend - A Gem. - The hosts in the office were exceptional and very helpful. It was lovely to chat to them. Instructions were clear, if you arrive after hours you are sent details of how to pick up your keys. The chalet overlooked the golf course, very quiet. Recommend stocking up as you have a full kitchen, laundry. I am a clean freak and the cleanliness of the property was exceptional. No faults at all, full kitchen with dishwasher, full sized fridge freezer and oven and extensive cookware. Bed was really comfy and we slept well. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms. Very rested and would highly recommend. Great value if staying several nights.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good short stay - Nice little place. A little dated, but clean and neat. Take to heart that there is no comforters and the blankets provided are thin. The tv in our bedroom wouldn't move off of one channel no matter what we tried. That was annoying, but our stay was brief. Bed was comfortable, but hard. The jetted tub was great, but there isn't anything over the outtake and I got a toe and my back sucked up before I realized what it was. It hurt. A child could be hurt especially if they would explore the hole with their fingers. Please put lights near the trash. We went to turn around after putting in trash early morning in the dark and never saw the the culvert. Smashed our bumper and had to call a tow truck. Definitely couldn't see that it wasn't part of the driveway.

- Albert (10/5): - Chalet High was an amazing find. My wife and I used it as a central location to visit vineyards throughout the Shenandoah region. There are many wonderful vineyards in the area. It was nice to come back to a comfortable place rather than a hotel room. It was clean and well kept. Check in and out was extremely easy.
- Felicia (10/5): - Perfect weekend getaway. Loved the location on the golf course. Great patio view to drink morning coffee and evening wine while watching the golfers. Very peaceful and close to many amenities. Highly recommend the hike around Lake Laura which is a very short drive with beautiful scenery. Very comfy and spacious master bedroom/bathroom downstairs. Would definitely stay here again!

Kitchen appliances i.e. microwave and stove when used gavs an offensive order which was smelled throughout the household. Musty odor from lower level seemed as if mildew or mold under carpet.

Lots of parking, quiet couldn’t hear the neighbors, but the down fall was furniture was out dated and uncomfortable to sit and sleep in, kitchen is sparkly furnished, stove took along time to heat up, mattress’s were very uncomfortable to sleep in.

Sadly for us he passed away while we was there last but we will continue to come stay to keep his memory alive. There is nothing to dislike about this place. It is a beautiful place to stay and well maintained.
