• Oliver (8/5): Die Lage macht es aus - Lage, Lage, Lage. Das wird wohl den Zimmerpreis ausmachen. Das war auch der Grund für uns. Wir waren 7 Nächte im Hotel. Das Zimmer hatte zwei schmale bequeme Betten und ein grosses Badezimmer mit einer guten Dusche alles war in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ist neben der Lage der grösste Pluspunkt. Das Zimmer im zweiten Stock war sehr dunkel mit Blick in einen Innenhof. An einigen Stellen auch abgewohnt, Polstersessel mit Löchern. Aber am meisten störte uns, dass es keinen Kleiderschrank gab. Zwar gab es eine Stange zum Aufhängen der Kleider aber keine Ablagefläche.

• SPYRIDON (8/5): Not bad - Great location, very polite staff. The breakfast does not offer many options, so I would describe it as rather poor. As part of the room design, there is not enough lighting, which makes the atmosphere quite tiring and uncomfortable. The TV is far too small considering the distance from the bed. Another very negative point is that there is no luggage stand in the rooms, forcing guests to keep their suitcases open on the floor.

Especially lights for the bathroom, not near the bathroom. The doors to the shower and commode were awkward to use. • Norbert Welu (7/5): Unfortunately misled by the reviews, but therefore centrally located. - Art'hotel's location is perfect — right next to Q-park Centraal, ideal for those arriving by car, and just a short walk from the centre and all attractions. Canal trips depart directly opposite. We enjoyed the good-sized, well-equipped room and comfortable bed, but felt it wasn't good value for money. A glass wall separates the bathroom and toilet from the bedroom — a very modern touch, complemented by a walk-in shower. The hotel is filled with modern art at every turn. The only real letdown was the breakfast—poor quality and limited choices, though eggs could be cooked to order. For our two-night stay, we declined housekeeping (for eco and personal reasons) and were given a €10 voucher for the bar or restaurant. Unfortunately, the bar wouldn't accept it.

She was knowledgeable & extremely helpful with a genuine smile. Also on the last morning, we were helped to go to the train station across the street by a hotel help guy. He took both our bags & rolled them all the way to the train platform. I think his name was Jamail or something. He is thin with curly hair. He was v v helpful & he should get acknowledged for it. Very poor lighting for the bathroom mirror, high above it creating strong shadows on your face. Leaking shower door caused by amateur design fault. Crowded dark hole for coffee etc. No shelves for clothes. No practical place for large suitcase except froor. The only practical place for the ironing board is the bed. Only one chair.

• 851barrye (10/5): Quirky modern hotel in a great location - Art'hotel is in an ideal location next to the station so perfect for our arrival by Eurostar. It is also a short walk to the centre and all attractions, canal trips are also available directly opposite. We had a good sized room with all amenities and a comfortable bed. A glass wall separated the bathroom and toilet from the bedroom, all very modern and the walk in shower was powerful. There is a lot of modern art everywhere, there was also supposed to be an art exhibition in progress but we never came across it. Downstairs there is a big bar area but it was noisy at night so we avoided it and went for a drink elsewhere. The only minor downside was breakfast which was of poor standard with limited options although you could have eggs cooked to order of your choice. When given the option we chose no housekeeping during our 3 night stay (for eco reasons and personal choice as it offers greater freedom), in exchange we were given a chilled bottle of wine in our room - a very nice gesture. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout, I'd definitely stop here again if in Amsterdam.

• Merel (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf gehad, ideale locatie - De locatie is geweldig. Heerlijk kingsized bed, ruimte om te zitten, de badkamer was mooi. Je hoort de trams maar dat vonden wij niet vervelend. Lekker zwembad erbij. Top locatie en een tophotel. Tip: laat bij het inchecken zien waar het zwembad is, de bar etc.
