• Roy (9/5): Typical ibis hotel - does the trick :) - Check-in was fast and smooth. The location is convenient and easy to get around from. The staff were very helpful, they assisted us with exchanging money from USD to LAK at a fair rate, and helped us arrange train tickets to Luang Prabang in advance, which is especially helpful since foreigners cannot easily book these themselves. The room is your typical Ibis setup, simple, clean, and has everything you need. The shower pressure was especially strong, which we really liked. Nothing really. An ibis has never disappointed me. Always does the trick.

No complains about facilities especially in Laos. The price is very expensive! You don’t expect to spend 63 dollars for a room, no breakfast, in Laos.

• Simon (9/5): - Very welcoming staff with good explanations in very good English. Comfortable beds, well-designed bathroom. The second night, there was a commotion in the corridor (drunk guests from another room) which woke me up - not the hotel's fault but it shows a lack of soundproofing.

I found the hotel clean and the staff were nothing short of amazing, they even surprised me with a cake on my birthday which i appreciated.

They were also very welcoming when we had to wait for a long time in the lobby after checking out. While clean, the rooms and bathroom need some updates.

• Madged (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable. Staff are welcoming I had a small hiccup at the hotel and they managed it very well. I ordered a hot ginger lemon tea. I'd like to suggest that instead of slicing ginger to place in the teapot, please mash the ginger. Will allow for more flavour.

The room itself is ok and they clean it everyday You cannot open the window and it is difficult to get fresh air. The WiFi is very weak, unstable and almost not usable. The price of laundry is kinda expensive considering local price

The staff are very friendly, rooms are always very clean and breakfast was very good. The hotel is in an older building, but nevertheless it is very well maintained. So, I recommend you stay in this hotel, no doubt. I would prefer to have a freshly squeezed juice for breakfast.

• Kok (9/5): Great value for money in a great location - The staff were very attentive and super friendly. We were there for 3 nights and all the staff for the different shifts were all equally good. The location is great with many restaurants within walking distance. One which deserve specially mention is Khim Chai Deu, a western and Lao hybrid dishes. Three of the must see sites in Vientiane - Wat Sisaket, Ho Pra Keow and the Patuxay - War Memorial are within walking distance. No need to sign up for the tours. The room size is adequate although on the smaller side. The room is clean and was cleaned every day. Mosquitoes are present in the lobby.

• Florence (9/5): Superb - Location was the best bit. Room was ready before check in. Good blackout curtains. Comfortable bed. Hot powerful shower. Lift up to rooms. We didn't have breakfast here so can't comment on that. It had international plug sockets! Staff were helpful booking a cheap taxi for us. Would be nice to have a smart TV. Room was a little small.
• Peter (10/5): - This is a centrally located and quiet hotel walking distance to many of the wonderful attractions in Vientiane. It is also surrounded by many fine restaurants, cafes and bars. My room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, mini fridge, programmable safe and wall mounted TV with many channels. The bathroom had a walk in shower with excellent water pressure and hot water. There is an option to purchase a reasonable priced breakfast buffet. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and professional. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Vientiane.

I would like to commend on the front desk staff who was able to provie me a computer screwdriver set for me to troubleshoot my laptop. Much appreciate your efforts. Though I do not watch much tv, I would appreciate for the signal of the TV to be much improved. More staff should be trained in english as most business travellers would be speaking English. If there could be provision for airport pick up, it would greatly enhance the value of staying in your hotel. While I know there was shuttle service at the AEBF event that i attended, it is not the norm for Lao hotels to do so.
• Kaycee (9/5): Great if you just need a room to sleep for the night. - The hotel breakfast had a variety of food and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. Check-in and check-out was really prompt and fast which was great. The location is near Khop Chai Deu which I would highly recommend. The place around the hotel had many shops, fountain and places to eat and visit. The was a dead insect, but understand the hotel is already engaging pest control the next day. You had to request for the amenities, so checking in late at night, I wished they would have asked me when I was at the lobby instead of needing to request and wait for it when I am about to sleep. The lighting were all yellow in the room and white in the bathroom, making it really dark in the room. I woke up because the neighbouring room was playing the tv too loudly, so the walls are pretty thin.
