Guest Reviews
- Cameron (10/5): - Right by the beach. Staff was amazing. Food was some of the best we tried on the whole island. Will be staying here again next visit.
- Filipe (10/5): - A grand old dame of Boracay beachfront establishments, we love to stay here for the beach setting and wonderful, homely staff.
- Filipe (10/5): - We have been coming here since 2004, and whilst this grand old dame is definitely showing her age, it still offers a spacious, relaxing, wonderful beach side experience. Staff are gracious and intuitive.
Will keep returning.
- Monte (8/5): - Large room but older style. Garden View means across the street near trees. Staff were very helpful. Food was good.
- Kulander (10/5): - The Sea Wind resort is right on the beach with open alfresco areas for dining and bar. There is a heated pool to use. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We will be coming back to this place again.
- sherwin (10/5): - All the staff are very friendly and very professional. Everyone who works here is what made this property a five star rating
- Mario Manuel Jr. (8/5): - Far away from the noise during the evenings, plenty of food for breakfast, helpful staff.
- Janet (10/5): - Property was very clean and well maintained. It was convenient and easily accessible to Long Beach which is powdery white sand compared to the beaches on either end of the island.
- Elexus (8/5): - When first arriving, I recommend having the hotel pick you up. It saves time and is a great transport deal. The staff was beyond amazing and accommodating. I had a great time and recommend this place if you want to have an "island feel" resort. They don't have many breakfast options, like some other hotels; however, the food will be delicious. The eggs were delectable every morning! The resort is right on the beach and really close to White Beach. I enjoyed the location a lot because Sea Wind is a 4 minute walk to White Beach and if I wanted to be on the beach with less crowds, I can just hang around the hotel. I enjoyed my first time in Boracay mainly because of Sea Wind Resort.
- Alexander (10/5): - Great property with the great customer service.
- Rhea Corazon (8/5): - Customer care is superb , hope they will improve or update the pool and other common areas , they need to assign someone to at least clean the lounging chairs in the common areas they need more activities for guests to enjoy thier stay . .
- MICHAEL (4/5): In Need of General Maintenance - Hotel staff excellent and accomdating, booked room only to find not beach side but across the road "Garden", being senior, climbing thirty steps, no handrails.
.
room in rundown, need of general mtce, tighten toilet seats, tighten door knobs, difficult to open front door.
.
safe deposit box not working, television remote dead batteries, squeeky bed, extremely noisy air conditioning.
.
did i mention rundown.
.
also appears locals get local price, and tourists paying much higher.
.
breakfast good, not enough attention to detail, food cold, fruit limited, need to ask for everything.
.
staff friendly and helpful, lack sweeping stairs sand abundance.
.
ashtrays on property overfilled, signs of mold in shower
.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staffs are very accommodating, polite and friendly. The place was very relaxing with beach front
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a sweet place for the money. We enjoyed the location away from the noise and bustle of station 2 but close enough to walk at nite or take tricycle for a few pesos. The breakfast buffet was good with eggs made to order and fresh fruit. This was one of a few hotels we saw that had beach chairs at beach front. The hotel sits along one of the prettiest stretches and has a low key, laid back beach vibe. Would stay again. Only cautionary note is that there are some rooms in an annex that is across the street.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - AWESOME, BEACHFRONT.LARGE CLEAN ROOMS, EXCELLENT SERVICE STAFF ARE NUCE FRIENDLY AND VERY VERY helpful..i enjoyed every minute of my stay and definitely coming back. Highly recommendable
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, friendly staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quite and serene.😀😀😀😀
Secured and clean
People are friendly and respectful
- CheRisDeLara (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay very much, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.
- George&
Lina (10/5): - My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and we like it here. The breakfast was great! Staffs are all friendly. The facilities are all clean. The owner is so kind.
- M.Owen (10/5): - Excellent customer service from the staff. They were very accommodating and took care of you the moment they picked you up from the airport and back. Property was clean, prime location, quiet area and breakfast buffet was great.
- Edzelmartinez (10/5): - Liked the staff, very friendly and accommodating. Loved their breakfast buffet and free WiFi.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly and accommodating staff. This is our second time staying at this place. Beachfront is beautiful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Widest beachfront - It was amazing! Seawind really has this hospitality that you dont get from other resorts. They also have the widest beachfront in the island.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Deception - no beach view - We wanted a hotel room near the beach with a sea view, so we booked this hotel specifically due the green 'Beach view' badge on the listing, the room type being named 'deluxe beachfront' and the room description indicating '377-sq-foot (35-sq-meter) room with beach views'.
There is no beach view. In fact there is arguably no view at all since there is no glass window in the room.
Pros: aside from being throughly deceived on the main reason we booked this hotel, the hotel itself is quite comfortable, clean, and the rooms spacious. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The bed is relatively hard and the pillows relatively lumpy. Hot water runs out often, the wifi is not reliably useful, and the breakfast is quite terrible.
The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet part of the beach, and is at the end of station 1 close to the action in station 2. So it's a great location, I just wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone.
- EJ (10/5): - It has great location! Just in front of the sand bar in station 1. The staff is very friendly. Service is great. It's one of the original hotels in Boracay so rooms is quite old in terms of looks but size is quite large and it is very clean.
Probably drawback right now is the on going road construction at the back. So sometimes it is quite dusty outside the room. But it's not the hotel's fault.
- Mark (8/5): Great place to stay - Stayed 6 nights in deluxe sea view room, which was very spacious and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful and the hotel is located right on the beach. Whilst the hotel was fully booked, it was never busy and there were plenty of sun lounges available.
About a 15-20 minute walk along the beach to D Mall, were there are plenty of restaurants and shops and there are a few shops nearby. Overall a very nice place to stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Wi-Fi connectivity from the room was difficult.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Well kept facilities. Beach front and good breakfast buffet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were very helpful. Will definitely go back to Seawind!
- Jhaymee (10/5): - Good
- Patrick (8/5): - Stay is good but there’s a lot of construction in the area
- alexandra (10/5): Best end of our vacation - Our check-in took a long time because the lady in the reception was really circum. Our room was big and clean, best room we had in our 30 days in the Philippines. There was something wrong with our aircon so it made a noise but they fixed it for us. Great breakfast. Best view ever with the hotel just at the beach, at the close part of the beach and area in Boracay wich we appreciate. Great staff, one security guard stand outside at the road to make the road clear before we went over. The pool wasn't so clean so we never used it. Wifi didn't work at the room. No laundry service. I can really recommend to book transfer with the hotel to and from the airport. We had a private transfer with one guide that followed us from the hotel to the airport, felt so safe and luxurious. To stay at this hotel was the best end of our vacation.
- Gary (8/5): - The resort is nice and quiet and has an excellent beach front although it is set back about 50 yards. But the real strength of this place is it’s staff...always warm, friendly and attentive.
Second time staying here after one year and they all remembered us.
- David (10/5): Great hotel - Sea Wind is a great hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast wonderful. Location on the beach at Station 1 couldn't be better. We will definitely stay here again
- sareeh (10/5): - Best experience ever... beautiful ambience. Excellent service and food is awesome.
- Cris (10/5): Boracay as it really should be - Me and my family are always in boracay for a vacation. We have tried several hotels in the island but nothing beats staying in seawind. We really fell in love with the place and its staff. After our first stay in sea wind, we haven’t stayed at other hotels ever since. We really feel at home because the staff are very friendly and accomodating. They are like family. The resort has the best beachfront in the island. They have big rooms and it works best for us because we travel with kids. They also have kid friendly pools. They tried to preserve the old boracay with their hotel decors. It is really refreshing because they tried to preserve the island living concept. It is also not crowded as it is in station 1. If you want to relax, this is the place to be.
- Allie (10/5): Great girl and staff are great - Right on the beach. Staff are you accommodating would definitely stay there again.
- Picote (4/5): Hotel site totally different from pictures showed - Small rooms not well kept...
Only good thing the hotel is on the beach...
- Bernadette (10/5): Very good break! - Excellent service and good break! Thanks Seawind! I wil recommend this resort to my friends.
- Igor (10/5): Great hotel right on the amazing beach! - Very nice hotel at Station 1. Quite almost empty beach. Very private compared to 100-200 meters towards station 2 where the crowd starts. Nice hotel territory - a lot of big palms that create a nice cool and natural shade. Amazing. A bit old facilities, however well taken care of.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good beachfront hotel, rooms could be better. - I booked a deluxe beachfront room with one queen and one twin bed. When we checked in I expected the room i booked. When we got to our room that was on the second floor, the room only had one king (two twin beds pushed together) and a native couch that looked like a small sofa bed. I immediately called the front desk and was told that there are no rooms available with 1 queen and 1 twin bed and that they can easily make a bed out of the little sofa bed. My teenage son tried it and his feet were hanging (he is 5'11''). I told them that will not work. They said that there is a super deluxe room but that I would have to pay extra. I said that I was not going to pay extra and should get the room I booked and paid for. Their only option for me is to stay in the room one night and then move to another room the next day. I work in the customer service industry so was disappointed at this arrangement. A hotel that is ran better would have upgraded me with no problem. Anyway, we stayed in the same room for one night which was also a hassle bec we had to wait the next morning instead of going about with our scheduled activities. The best thing about the hotel is the beachfront. It is wider than the hotels along station 2 and even station 1. The beach is also cleaner and nicer. The buffer was ok, nothing special. The rooms also ok but needs an upgrade. The garden rms are located across the street. If you stay, choose a beachfront rm. I would stay again but only for the beachfront.
- Paolo (10/5): 2nd stay at Seawind - Very Good
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay at boracay - Great for family
- Elena (8/5): Nice and quiet place far from the Boracay mess - Wonderful service with a great team who always willing to help and serve!
The WiFi wasn't good and not stable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel on the beach - Great stay. Staff were amazing and kind. Location is perfect. Easy walk to station 2.
- Nader (8/5): Good hotel - You need to improve your call center the person from India replied very unprofessional
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location.room was well appointed and quiet.clean and fresh sheets and towels.beach front.service at the restaurant was great.will definitely come back.
- Princesita (8/5): Perfect get away - We enjoyed our stay.
- pepe (8/5): Quiet and peaceful hotel - Located in station 1, not to far from station 2 with private beach we had very Good Stayed, choose beachfront room, the hotel has big garden with full of coconut tree, room was spacious with private balcony. Over all we loved our hotel
- Verified traveler (4/5): if you do not have other option - I waited long time to check in. they gave me a garden room which is full of bugs. later they change it to partly beach view without bugs. I think because of the garden the flies are too many there. the A/C is a window one. it was not close to station 2, about 15 min walking. however, it has direct access to the beach.
- rebecca (10/5): Perfect little hotel minus the wifi - I loved SeaWind. First, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Johnny was especially helpful during my stay and always had a smile on his face.
This hotel has, in my opinion, the best spot all along White Beach. The rooms were simple but very clean and well kept. The breakfast was good and provided a good variety.
The absolute only negative thing I can say about this hotel is that the wifi didn't work in my room (and often didn't work outside either). It would show that there was a signal but it wouldn't connect...on either of my devices and even after the hotel staff did something to "fix" the wifi. Anyway, that was a bit of a pain since I needed to get work done at night .
Anyway, others who were staying at the hotel said that their wifi worked. Mine in room 10 did not though and it was very frustrating.
Other than that I LOVED the place...great value and fantastic place to stay!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Close to beach - I am dis appointed because the counter personnel clearly told me that our check out is 4:00pm that time when we arrived but they rushing us to check out in 11:00 am morning Dated May 3, 2016 that supposedly the counter personnel told me that our checked out was 4:00pm ..etc.,,
- Joseph (8/5): Lovely relaxing stay. - Staff are excellent. Hotel is an older establishment and is dark inside. Fantastic location however right on the beach. Swim, walk, swim, walk, swim and so on.
- Kimberly (8/5): Great stay - We stayed with my parents in Feb 2016. I liked this hotel for hte fact that it sits on the beach, albeit there are rooms across the street, make sure you know what you are booking. This is a great hotel for relaxing at the pool while looking at the beach. There are numerous chairs on the beach too. The food is not all that but it is ok. The people are so nice. You can get a massage from the ladies that sit outside the hotel on the beach. You can order drinks from the pool bar. Great stay and would stay again.
- George (4/5): Termites in the room - Local vendors occupy the best beach chairs under shade together with noisy massage ladies that every now and then interrupt you to offer products and services.
It seems that management nevers walks down the beach to see what is happening.
Dirty and worn beach chairs.
The beach not as clean as at Ambassador hotel or Fridays, staff never cleans the sand around beachairs from rubbish that wind or sea brings (common practice at other station 1 establishements)
Room had termites and falling dust from them, that nobody even bothered cleaning
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very professional staff. Excellent quality of rooms/service given the price. Awesome views of the beach without the crowds.
- Ken (8/5): A great place to stay for the price - The hotel staff is excellent and works hard to see to your needs. I have stayed here twice I will stay here again the next time I come.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Realy nice and great location
Our only complaint was bed to hard
But realy enjoyed our stay
- Catherine (10/5): Nice place in Boracay - Nice place but they never change their breakfast buffet. We were there for 5 days and food was the same.
- Kimberly (10/5): Wonderful Stay - We stayed here with my parents. Try as much as possible to pay for the beachfront. While the other rooms are huge, they are across the street and up steep stairs. My parents were moved closer to the road as it was difficult for my parents to get up the stairs BUT the staff were wonderful in helping them relocate. In fact, the hotel staff, including the security officer who watched who entered the property and helped people cross the street, were cordial, helpful and sincere. The property is great. Right on the beach with a pool near the ocean. LOTS OF CHAIRS. You can get a drink and just chill. It seems as this place offers lots of space to relax as opposed to the other hotels down the beach, where it seems everyone is on top of one another. I thought the breakfast buffet was great but I did not care for the rest of the food selections.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Superb service, very quiet, stunning views - We stayed here for 6 nights in mid Feb and couldn't fault the place. Great breakfast, clean rooms, spacious and quiet. Overlooking a beautiful part of the beach. Staff couldn't do enough for us-so friendly and helpful. We had a couple of strange requests and they were always happy to help us. 15 minute walk down the beach to the busier bars and restaurants and moments away from others good hotels serving food.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Happy Campers - We were in the Gardens part. Our daughter, her husband & grand-daughter were on the beach side. My husband has issues with climbing stairs and was being a "pill" about the distance from them. The hotel was very accommodating in moving us closer to the entrance, the stairs were basically the same but he was happier that it was closer and after threatening him with a hit on the head by a 2x4 he was okay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice Hotel but very expensive - it is a nice hotel but very expensive. Probable due to location. Room is very comfortable.
- Issac (8/5): Nice secluded resort for private stay - it was an excellent stay! The only problem is that you have to relog in to the wifi constantly.
- Cathering (10/5): Nice beach with nice resort - Fully satisfied with the experience of staying in this resort. Everything is excellent.
- Suniqua (8/5): Great location, awesome staff. - What really made the experience great was the amazing hotel staff. They're very accommodating, and are always ready to serve. Seawind is at a great location on the island -- not crowded, and their beachfront is clear of boats and all those small businesses you find in Station 2. The rooms are a little dated, but clean. Breakfast buffet is delicious. Pool is small, but enough.
- thomas (6/5): Position - A 3 Star resort with a 4+ star beach front position.
- Badet (10/5): Quiet place, nice hotel over all - Love to coming back in station 1 you will enjoy the beauty of nature and the beach... This is a friendly hotel you should not miss in Boracay.
- Dwight (6/5): Great beach, otherwise average. - This hotel is nice if you want to swim or have kids who want to swim as this section of the beach, Station 1, is not where the boats are anchored and this leaves a nice open area for swimming. The food is not great and it is a considerable walk to many of the better restaurants. My main issue with this facility is the very poor internet. If you are planning to stay and also get some work done via the internet I would recommend another place.
- Laura (8/5): Great time at Sea Wind - Stayed over Golden Week with a friend. It was typhoon season so it rained a lot of the time, but the resort itself is lovely. The rooms are well cared for and very clean, the decor and facilities are nice, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The rest of their food isn't great but the walk to D'Mall is easy and there's a tonne of good stuff to eat down there.
- Japheth (10/5): Not cheap but worth the price!!!! - Stayed here for 3 nights and it was awesome! Great beach and tropical vibe. located in Station 1 wherein you can have the best sand and expanded beachfront in Boracay. Very quiet and secluded during night since all of the bars and parties are in Station 2 (though during Summer, all parties are just in front of the resort until early morning so be sure to plan carefully ahead). they have 3 pools that are best suited for leisurely dipping. If you want more secluded place, have their garden rooms located at the hilly part of the resort though you need to cross the room. Great breakfast buffet options as well. The only downside is that the rooms have quite a number of mosquitoes so just bring some anti-bug sprays/lotions and make sure to ask for insect spray from the reception/room service. Very relaxing place and worth the price!!!! if you want to have a place near parties during summer, go here! if you are looking for some solitude during off-peak seasons, best place to be!
- Ju (8/5): Nice beach hotel - Great location, you can walk (via the beach) to the busier part of the district (2 and 3).
- Ernanie (10/5): Amazing - The best device and ambiance.
- Shane (8/5): - Need more comfortable mattresses in bedroom. Beach chairs are old and worn out and could use an upgrade. Food is ok but not amazing. Rooms a little gloomy.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Great location, but that's about it. - The hotel is situated in a good location, away from the crowds and bars, however the positivies stops there. First off, we paid extra for a "beachfront" room, however, the hotel's interpretation of "beachfront" is unique to their management. What they really mean to say is that it's on the beach side of the property (there is a garden side on the other side of the road). So be prepared to be put in a room that has the noisy road on one side and looks onto a roof of some sort on the other - no semblance of anything in front of a beach or within viewing access of a beach either. The hotel is also rustic as best, so if you are looking for luxury look into some other hotels in that area - this one is rustic at best.
The breakfast is terrible, so don't bother paying extra for it. A lot of hotels nearby have breakfasts worth paying for.
Lastly, my biggest complaint is that we accidentally left some swim shorts on the bed when checking out. Our friends were staying at the hotel for a bit longer so we asked them to help retrieve the shorts (a few hours after we checked out). The management said they couldn't find them, which is really disappointing given we are 100% confident they were left on the bed. I would expect that if a guest leaves something behind, it should be turned in and not considered a free for all by the staff. It wasn't anything of great value, but out of principle, they should have been turned in.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not worth it - Nice location, bed was really hard, we did not get good sleep. AC is too loud as well. Staff is OK. Overall expensive hotel but not worth paying, we are not staying here again.
- Christopher (10/5): Quiet, traditional beach hotel - A real traditional beach hotel with quiet areas far enough away from party central to be pleasant and yet close enough for daily travel to a conference site. And value for money unlike many of the over-priced places in Boracay.
- norm (4/5): Over rated. - Over Rated not worth the price you pay. Some Super Deluxe rooms are basic standard rooms only.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Appraisal of Sea Wind - We had an unfortunate experience with this hotel and would not recommend it to families on account of the noise from the next door beach bar. The day we arrived was the tail end of Labour day/weekend in the Philippines. The music from the next door beach bar was incredibly loud and, whilst it finished at 10pm, we later learned that it had gone on through the night until 6am over the previous Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
On our last day at Sea Wind, the music started up at 8am. As we emerged onto the beach at 9am we realised why - there was a huge party in the planning at the beach bar next door. Blow up water slides were laid out on the beach and a large conference screen was erected with a DJ and loud crowds gathering. We therefore took no chances, packed our stuff and booked in to another hotel. The hotel refused to refund our last nights stay.
This hotel is nice, clean, has a lovely area of beach, and, when the beach bar next door is quiet it is a peaceful place to stay. However, with the increasing development of the island, even station 1 is now becoming noisy and the 'white house' beach bar next door is a big problem for Sea Wind. None of this is the owners fault I am sure. . Final comments: the buffet dinner is poor and the rooms at the front of the hotel do NOT have a sea view and shouldn't market themselves as such.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great But... - I always liked staying in Station 1 so Sea Wind is a great choice.
However, hopefully they can rename their room types as i got a Deluxe Beachfront, which is on the third floor of a building. Although it faces the beach, there are obstructions - trees, another building, the beachfront dinner area, etc. So the expectations of staying in a "beachfront" room was not met at all.
- vince (8/5): Excellent beach front. Quiet location. - Well located at the quiet area station one of Boracay white beach. Limited hotel amenities but excellent staff customer service makes up for this. Walking distance to the night life at those 'noisy' area hotels at station two to three and 'D-mall'.
- Ana (2/5): Do not stay here, I found a mouse in my room!!!!!! - I found a mouse in the room and the staff was not helpful, I had to be the one asking for another room. At the end they did not make any adjustment to my bill, I guess because they do not care. I could not change to another hotel because of the group logistics.
Rooms are pretty old and they are not clean. Breakfast is pretty basic, does not have good taste the fruit is the only edible option.
I will never stay there again.
- Nancy (6/5): Needs some updating - As the hotel staff was excellent and the rooms where great some of the grounds need updating as they are looking very tired and old on the beach side.
- Dincer (8/5): Nice hotel, perfect location - This was our second time at Seawind Resort. Just like last year, we were satisfied again. Great location at Station 1. Staff always with positive attitude. Decent rooms. And of course great sea of Boracay.
Keep in mind that the sea has algae in March-April-May season. If you want to take more artistic photos on White Beach, I recommend you to visit Boracay in December-January-February season.
- Manoj Mohan (6/5): Pricey considering location and rooms - Spent 6 nights at this hotel. I booked a beachfront room but sadly, it wasnt beachfront and there was absolutely no view from the room. Considering that and the distance from the station 2 where most action is, the hotel is pricey. I was getting ocean view in st 2 with half the price as this one.
When confronted about the room, i was told that all the rooms on this side of the road are beachfront. They should atleast write this in the description.
Breakfast is not good atall. its mostly local stuff. I survived with the omlet in the morning for the breakfast :(
- Carlos (10/5): Great place to in Boracay. - Great location in station 3. Staff was very attentive and accommodating.
- Stewart (8/5): Boracay March 2015 - The best rooms in the hotel are the beachfront deluxe third floor. We found the room view of #17 very good with sufficient distance from the beach that noise from weddings and other events on the beach did not impact us too much. The room was clean and kept clean throughout our stay. The staff in the hotel are very helpful and met all our expectations. We arrived early and although our reservation appeared to be not on the list they provided us with a room within an hour of arrival. The first room we were taken to was on the first floor with no view except the building in front. The front desk staff did take us to the third floor room after we voiced our concerns. Breakfast was included and offers a good selection that includes hot and cold local and international options. We did not dine at the hotel after breakfast as there are many good options close to the Seawind. The beach in front of the hotel has many beds available for guests and security provided for privacy. The sand in front of the beach was very clean and it has probably the widest area. Overall a good choice for Boracay it's 10 minutes to the station 2 nightlife and stores. The transfer to Caticlan by the hotel is good as it offers seem less transfer by a hotel van and boat back to Aklan province. We have been to Boracay 3 times and this was the best vacation yet. We will probably stay here on next visit.
- Nikki (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Boracay! - Our stay was perfect not just because of the location being away from crowd but also because the staff were sincerely very nice. Surely, this won't be the first time!
- Penelope (10/5): We love Sea Wind - My husband and I stayed at Sea Wind for 3 nights last week. We had the most relaxing, lovely time. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the location, to the north of North Beach was great. The loungers on the beach were comfy too. Close to beachfront restaurants and bars.
We stayed in one of the Deluxe Garden Rooms, at the back of the resort. This was amazing, spacious and peaceful, with lovely views over one of the 2 secluded pools surrounded by plants. We were really sad to leave Sea Wind and recommend it to everyone wanting a relaxing escape.
- Shane (10/5): 2nd time around - stayed 3 nights for the 2nd time in 2 years. Glad we stayed here again. We were given the best room location in the
hotel and we didn't even ask for it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Misleading beachfront room description - This is the first time I am writing a review, so u can tell how much my stay affected me. Stayed Feb 2014. On a summary, I rate the hotel as 3.5. I love the traditional room style however almost all their beachfront rooms whether super deluxe and deluxe rooms are obstructed. So, If you are paying for the this room type -I strongly suggest to look somewhere else bec u can find something not deceiving at a lower price.
I initially booked a premier deluxe but when the the staff showed the room to me it was somewhere in the middle and nowhere anything that shows the water- I was told by the staff that all their rooms in front at considered 'beachfront' as the one behind are garden view, and Im like I paid for a beachfront room and not a beachfront property, Wth.
To cut the story, I upgraded and paid but I felt that it was improper for them to do it; the super deluxe room they gave is even obstructed bec it has a canopy in front.
Breakfast is almost the same daily and theres some lizards close to the cups for coffee.(I should have taken a photo of tat as a proof!)
The staff are well trained.
The security is good and the hotel is quiet at night.
The room is generally clean. Mattress is ok.
No bedet for the toilet.
The hotel is not bad but frankly, I will not book here again and will look somewhere else.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Seawind: a pleasant surprise - Everything about the hotel is beautiful. The staff were so polite and courteous (especially Larry John). I think the only thing that my husband and I felt uneasy about was the security of the hotel - every time you leave the hotel you have to drop off your key to the front desk which is not a problem and completely reasonable as they are actual keys that could be easily lost or duplicated. However, upon return to the hotel you have to go to the front desk to pick up your key and this is where we felt insecure. We noticed every time we would pick up our key, we'd tell them our room number and they'd just take our word for it without asking for identification. We asked them on several occasions how they knew it was us and they wouldn't share how. Maybe they have their own secret way of knowing but we would've felt a little more comfortable if they requested a password or some form of identification from us before giving our key back to us. One more thing we didn't like is how hard/stiff the beds were. This might just be a Filipino thing because our beds were hard/stiff even in the 5 star hotels we stayed at in Makati. Aside from the uncomfortable beds and the odd key drop off/return, everything else about our stay was wonderful and I would most definitely stay here again.
- Joselito (8/5): Highly Recommended - The property is located in a very peaceful side (Station 1) of Boracay. The staff are very effective and warm. This has been our second stay in Seawind and we will never cease to book with them on our next visit to the island.
- Rasmus (8/5): Perfect location - bad food - This is at the absolute best part of the beach. Quiet but walking distance to all the restaurants at station 2. Most parts of the beach is crowded with Russians and Koreans, but the few hundred meters around Seawind was pristine, quiet and just perfect. The hotel food is less than average and the rooms are above average I would say. We just ate breakfast at the hotel as it was included.
- trav (6/5): Beachfront deluxe are actually on the road - Well located on White beach too bad for the noise of the road

- Verified traveler (8/5): Beautiful and quiet beach - Nice hotel located on a private and quiet beach. Restaurants and bars, D Mall and D'Talipapa is just a pleasant walk away on the beach(about 1-2 km). Rooms are clean and basic. Just wished there was a volleyball court on the beautiful beach. Sand was white and soft. The most friendly and helpful staff.
Thank you Patty and reception and transport staff which was ever so helpful in assisting us when we need to leave the island soonest due to the recent Typhoon. You have made our stay there very pleasant indeed.
- Vic (10/5): Great holidays - First time here. we received an excellent service; very helpful, polite and friendly staff.
- shai (4/5): lpcation, location - Great location on Boracay beach, the rooms are a bit old and the maitenance can be better.bteakfast is average, Overall - is a nice place, with a great location.
- wes (6/5): Good hotel next to the beach - lizards prevalent around breakfast buffet; staff did not seem to know much about airport transfers and other logistics qs; bathrooms in rooms need renovating;
- Hosam Andijani (8/5): Nice Hotel - It is a nice hotel comparing to what you pay for it. The best about it is the location being on the famous White Beach of Boracay. D Mall area is very close nearby. Rooms are quiet and reasonable for stay. For our stay in two rooms, it was comfortable and great. I believe the hotel is getting good value of its location. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
