La camera e il bagno erano davvero spaziosi, forniti di tutti i comfort, e inoltre si può usufruire dell'onsen. Si trova a 5 minuti dal centro a piedi.

• Minna (10/5): - Very traditional minshuku. Exactly what I was expecting. I have travelled back and forth in Japan and I would recommend this place if you want an authentic experience. Toilet and bath were common as they are in this type of minshukus. We ordered a breakfast too and it was marvellous Japanese style breakfast with manu small dishes.

La camera è piccola (cosa abbastanza normale in Giappone) ma accogliente. Il bagno in comune può risultare un po' scomodo per chi non è abituato. Non so se ci siano anche camere con il bagno privato. La colazione tradizionale è molto ricca. Alloggio vivamente consigliato nulla

• Thusnelda (10/5): Eine sehr angenehme, familiengeführte Herberge mit exzellenter Küche! - Wir haben als 6köpfige Familie eine Nacht in der traditionellen Herberge verbracht. Diese liegt an einer Straße, dennoch war es nachts ruhig, so dass wir gut schlafen konnten. Die Familie ist zurückhaltend und doch sehr entgegenkommend, sie ließ uns ohne Aufpreis viel früher einchecken. Auch für dieses traditionelle, japanische Stadthaus gilt, dass man es nur buchen sollte, wenn einem steile Treppen nichts ausmachen, man ohne viel Gepäck reist, denn die Zimmer sind klein, und man bereit ist, jede erforderliche Rücksicht zu üben. Wir hatten ein westliches 2-Bettzimmer mit Naßzelle (Dusche und WC) sowie ein traditionelles Vierbettzimmer mit Futons. Abends aßen wir auswärts, das (japanische) Frühstück in der Herberge war aber schlicht hervorragend. Nichts

• 卡洛 (9/5): 物超所值，環境舒適。 - 旅店主人親切，年長的爺爺奶奶很盡責的幫我們把行李拿到三樓，過程中真的很擔心想要自己提還被阻止，房間雖然小但很舒適整潔，有浴場可以使用，以房價來說算物超所值。 隔音效果的確不好，遇到對面房的住客帶小孩，可以聽到他們非常努力無時無刻哄小孩不要哭。房間較小所以行李箱不好打開，兩人入住會需要輪流整理行李。3樓洗手間有味道，但是是整潔的。

La señora que lo dirige apenas habla inglés pero te entiendes con señas , es súper amable... Tienes todo lo que necesitas pijama típico japones, toalla, gel, champú, secador de pelo,... No hay duchas es un onsen común !! Está súper bien comunicado llegas andando de la estación de tren en 7min y en unos minutos más estás en el centro Para vivir la experiencia japonesa está genial pero para largas estancias ...

• Charlie (7/5): Warm Takayama stay! - A real friendly welcome into Takayama, we stayed in a traditional Japanese room with a shared bathroom which was a really cool experience. The beds were deceivingly comfy and we easily got laundry and sheet changing done with the help of the fantastic staff! Takayama is a very walkable town and this place was in a perfect location between the railway station and the old town. The bathroom/showers situation is a shared Osen style which is cool, but if you’re not used to it maybe a bit of a shock to the system to start with. But once you get used to it it’s fine!

Eramos tres y nos dieron una habitación amplia con 3 futones. WC y baños compartidos con onsen. A tener en cuenta: al ser una casa antigua, no tiene ascensor y las escaleras son empinadas. Ha sido una buena manera de conocer un minshuku Nada, todo correcto

They watched over my luggage which I dropped off way before check-in, showed me around the place, and recommended an outstanding sushi restaurant which was only a few minutes away. Parking was very convenient too. I really loved my stay at Minshuku Kuwatania!

Nota di merito per l'onsen che a fine giornata e' un vero piacere. Il bagno al mio piano era  sia per uomini che donne ed hanno sempre all'ingresso un orinatoio che da cattivo odore.

• Luisa (10/5): Schönes Gästezimmer in guter Lage - Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und man ist sehr schnell am Bahnhof. Es war schön, ein eigenes kleines Bad zu haben. Die Westernstyle-Betten hätte es gar nicht gebraucht, da Futons sehr bequem sind. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns noch ganz viele Sachen gezeigt!

The room was a traditional Japanese style tatami and it was huge for the japanise standard, a lot of space for your luggages. The futons were comfy and we slept very well. The onsen was amazing, perfect to rest at the end of a long day of walks.

• Emanuela Chiara (8/5): - Comfortable and very clean guesthouse, in a good position (less then 10 min walk from station and many shops around). Out room was on road side and was just a bit noisy in the evening as there is a bus stop right down on the street (people making noise while waiting for the bus). I would recommend for sure if you look for nice and not expensive place. Very safe for a woman.

When we arrived out yukatas and a pot of hot water for tea was there to wait for us.The owner is extremely kind and the in-house onsen small and extremely nice. Not even to mention the location. 5 minuts walking with big luggage from the station, in front of one of the major shrine of town and 3 minutes walking from the old district. It definitely made us fall in love with Takayama even more.
