Windy side of the island, pool water cold until afternoon, beach is noce but high waves and impossible to get in the water.

- Lisa (8/5): Utmärkt på det stora hela - Väldigt fint hotell med bra poolområden, restauranger och härlig service. Rummet var dock något av en besvikelse(förutom badrum) för ett 5 stjärnigt hotell. Som tur är så är man knappt på rummet. Rummet var okej men inte mer än så. Konstiga materialval på vägg och garderober. Hela rummet kändes föråldrat(förutom badrum som var renoverat och fräscht). Trots det skulle jag åka tillbaka till hotellet men då välja ett annat rum(vi hade dubbelrum med bergsutsikt). Frukosten var nämligen fantastiskt, poolområden och faciliteter är mycket bra.

Sehr schade. - Personal sehr freundlich. Rezeption, Restaurant, usw. Macht weiter so. - Das Restaurant war hervorragend, Essen war sehr sehr gut. Grosse Auswahl. Es hat für jeden etwas. - Spa Center top Ausstattung + Personal. Preis Leistung gut. Jedoch der Massageraum in der Mitte von der untere Etage: Einsicht, Akustik schlecht. Könnte besser sein. - Aktivitäten top, Minigolf, Unterhaltungen am Abend sehr gut. Passt alles.

- Kathryn Rose F. (8/5): - We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. I highly recommend booking a Junior Suite (or better) or any room with a view—it’s well worth the small additional cost. The standard mountain view room felt a bit dark and somewhat gloomy, though it’s perfectly fine if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room. We were fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite, which we truly appreciated—thank you to the management for the generous gesture. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. The all-inclusive package is decent for the price. While it’s not luxurious, it covers all the essentials and provides good value overall.
- Emmi (4/5): Disappointing Experience for a Supposed 5-Star Htl - Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel did not meet the expectations we had for a five-star hotel. While there were a few positives, the overall experience left much to be desired. Cons: -The overall standard of the hotel did not match the level of a five-star rating. -The bed was uncomfortable, and the sofa bed was broken springs were visibly sticking out and the cushions wouldn't stay in place. -There was a strange and unpleasant smell in the room every time we entered. -The surfaces in the room were worn and in need of renovation. -At the pool bar, it was unclear what food was available and at what time, unless dining at the buffet. We were asked to move seats after being seated, though we could have been directed correctly from the start. -Access to the beach required crossing a busy road, which was inconvenient. -No food or drink service was available at the beach. -Staff at the pool bar/restaurant did not greet guests and we had to approach them ourselves to ask for the menu. -The staff also came across as rude and irritated by our presence, which made us feel unwelcome. -During the breakfast buffet, I asked one of the servers for more milk and she visibly showed frustration and annoyance, which was both surprising and disappointing. Pros: -Two different breakfast options were available (standard buffet and an adults-only breakfast). -Slippers and bathrobes were provided in the room. -A friendly gentleman was working at the beach taking care of sunbeds, which stood out
- Rebekka (8/5): - Große Zimmer mit toller möblierter Terrassen, tolles Restaurant auf der 8 Etage mit super Ausblick, wirkt nicht überlaufen auch wenn das Hotel ausgebucht ist, außer die Liegen am Pool die leider immer schon früh morgens reserviert werden:-( Bequeme Liegen am Strand, hier bekommt man auch immer eine Platz. Nervig ist, das man für die Restaurants in Hotel vorher immer erst an der Rezeption reservieren muss. Gym is small and not enough equipment for a 5 star hotel. Food is literally almost the same every day. Fridge isnt refilled and there is no snack bar. Typical overhyped European 5 star hotel which is a fake all inclusive. You can only use certain restuarants if you stay for 7 nights

- Dimut Alwine (6/5): - Die Aussicht vom zimmer im 8.stock war fantastisch. Das wir nach der Eincheckzeit um 15 uhr noch 1.5 stunden auf das Zimmer warten mussten, unangenehm. Keine Entschuldigung oder ein Begrüßungsglas um die Wartezeit zu verkürzen. Lage direkt am Meer heisst man muss die Hauptverkehrsstraße der Insel überqueren. Der Strand ist aus Kies , Badeschuhe Pflicht. Das Zimmer war groß genug. Stauraum ausreichend vorhanden. Sanitäranlage nicht gerade neu. Trotz Wartezeit waren noch Haare der Vorbewohner im Zimmer und Fenster schmutzig;; wurde aber auf Geheiß gereinigt. 3 Aufzüge- einer war defekt- führten zu längeren Wartezeiten ebenso bei der Platzierung im Restaurant.- Massenabfertgung wie in einer Bahnhofshalle geprägt durch AI gäste mit Nimmwasdukriegenkannst Mentalität. Getränke auf der Karte nicht vorhanden., werden ungefragt ausgetauscht. Als ich den Wein auf der Karte wollte , wurde mir von der Bedienung gesagt ich solle netter zu ihr sein. Rollentausch. Rechnung für die Getränke kommt am Anfang des Essens. Essen ziemlich ungewürzt und britisch. Orangensaft zum Frühstück nicht nur nicht frisch sondern Instant total verzuckert. Obst zum selber schneiden oder aus der Dose. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt: er öffnet erst um 10 uhr um 9.30 sind alle Liegen belegt und schliesst um 18 uhr . Badehandtücher bekommt man auch nur zu dieser Zeit. Was macht 5 sterne aus? Für den Gast wohl eher sich wohl fühlen, geschätzt zu werden, Annehmlichjeiten zu haben..Fehlanzeige. .

- Peter (8/5): Rhodes in Oct - This is a lovely hotel but I’m not a fan of all inclusive stays. We had to move on day one from another 5* hotel to this hotel and thank god there was availability. I know they are popular for some but I think standards drop especially around food and drink if this model is adopted. I know some will disagree The hotel is super clean and the pool is lovely. Restaurants could be mega but the all inclusive model doesn’t allow this unfortunately. We are out ever lunch and evening in Rhodes town. The gym needs a major overhaul and a relocation as it’s one of the most depressing set ups I have ever seen for a 5* hotel. Some of the machines were broken as well and ancient . Mini golf was great but why charge if it’s in the resort property?? €12 as well is toppy Staff and people were great and that was the case all over the island. Oct is a great time to go as the temperature is lovely and the island is not busy at all. Taxis are great
- Emre (10/5): - Hotelanlage unschlagbar, deshalb 5 sterne! Wir hatten einen Suite Zimmer mit der größten Terrasse, Traumhaft. Das Hotel ist mega gut ausgestattet, Wifi ist sehr gut, überall. Leider muss ich an manchen Dinge bemängeln, die Toilette war schrecklich in so einem tollen Zimmer wie Nummer 801! Die Reinigungskraft hat für mich die Zimmern garnicht gereinigt, nur Müll rausgebracht und die Betten gerichtet! Essen Auswahl bei so einem wunderschönen Hotel mit so einer Anlage, schlecht, Veganer und Muslimische Gäste,sind dort schlecht aufgehoben, sehr wenig Essen Auswahl, oft das gleiche, Dessert nicht lecker, für mich war das Essen im Bereich Casa Bonita das beste, die Kellnerin und der Kellner, sehr Freundlich und Höflich, viele Grüße an den beiden ♥️. Das Hotel hat einen privaten Strand eingang direkt auf der gegenüber stehende Straße, das Meer ist Traumhaft schön, Fazit würde dieses Hotel immer wieder Buchen wenn ich in Rhodos wäre.

Ménage très succincte. Nous avions également une suite avec piscine, dans la chambre il y avait une très forte odeur de rat mort, on nous a changé de chambre, mais il faut à chaque fois appeler pour qu’il vienne faire le ménage, il faut aller à la piscine pour changer les serviettes de piscine avant 18h , donc peut pratique qd on veux profiter de sa piscine privée Service très moyen, bon petit déjeuner. - Vahe (8/5): - The property is located in a good location and is nice and clean. I did not like that the hotel beach does not offer any food or drinks like most other beaches in Rhodes. Also I found it a little annoying that all the entertaiments in the hotel cost additional money (pool table, game room, mini golf etc). The hotel staff were very nice and most were super friendly and curtious. The pool closed a little early (6pm) which was not pleasant because the sunset was at 8pm and it would have been pleasant to say in the pool as the day cooled a bit in the evening. Overall it was very child friendly and family orianted hotel with rooms that have super nice ocean and sunset views.

- Sophie (10/5): - I have just returned from a 9 night stay at the Olympic Palace and had a great experience. The outside of the hotel and lobby look great as you approach and all of the outside areas are beautifully landscaped. The room we had was much more spacious than expected and the big was bigger than expected (also very comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from!). We went all inclusive which I’ve never done before but it was definitely worth it for the money. The food was excellent every day, there was a lot of choice and everything was fresh and really tasty. We ate lunch in the aqua marine restaurant by the pool each day as it was easy to pop in and out which we liked! We also had dinner in Casa Bonita one night which is a really nice setting and the food was lovely. There was a good selection of drinks, the local beer was good, and also cocktails at the pool bar. All of the staff we spoke to, everyone in the dining room were really friendly, Sambika and Fatmir at the pool bar are great. The hotel had plenty of sun loungers, of course the ones by the pool go the earliest but they have more beds behind the pool. Would definitely recommend a visit to the spa, you don’t realise it’s as big as it is when you walk past but it’s beautiful inside. We also had a massage which was great and worth the money. Also recommend to play mini golf at the front of the hotel! The private beach was lovely, very tidy and the sun loungers are really comfy. Definitely pay for the pool/sea view room!

Service also ok, lange Warteschlangen vorm Restaurant zum Frühstück/ Abendessen, man soll sich zeitlich festlegen wann man zum Abendessen geht, Buffet vielseitig, Soeisesaal sehr unruhig laut. Strandbereich die größte Enttäuschung, es fehl Sanitärhaus, für All Inclusive wenigstens ein Getränkeangebot.

- Katarzyna (6/5): - I would rate this hotel at 3.5 out of 5 for the following reasons: - staff were great and friendly however there was a slight pressure to join evening dinner which I don’t really need on holiday; we had that every night when we went out for dinner in town - the room was a bit tired for 5* hotel however the view from the balcony was lovely, just shame that on that side of the hotel you don’t get sun; we didn’t mind because we were out all day - breakfast was nice although missing that 5* feel that we had numerous times in 5* hotels; it would be nice to have more interesting choices, maybe also promote local/organic products because I didn’t know what I was eating and from where; also the current limitations with Covid didn’t really help; plus the breakfast room was busy - environment- is it really necessary to change bedsheets and towels every day, probably not but at least give the guest the option; it was lovely to get the room cleaned every day but I would leave the option of towels and bedsheets up to the guest; small things to save the world and the planet - swimming pool was nice size however the opening times limiting to an early bird like my husband or late owl like myself - the entrance to the hotel grand and modern - definitely 5*

- Kathy (8/5): Schönes Hotel mit 5-Sterne-Standard - Das Hotel war sehr schön. Es gibt einen Innen- und Außenpool, einen schönen Wellnessbereich und ein Fitnessstudio mit Sauna. Was auch sehr schön ist, ist die Minigolf-Anlage vorm Hotel. Der Strand ist ein Kieselstrand und eher für Surfer geeignet. Dieser ist ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war von allem für alle was dabei. Der Bau ist aus den 80ern aber es wird ständig renoviert. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Das einzige was mir nicht so zugesagt hat: durch den relativ niedrigen Preis für diese Hotelkategorie ist das Klientel sehr Billigtouri-lastig (zu 80%-90%). Die Lage ist auch o.k. Zur Altstadt sind es 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt am Hoteleingang. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Was das Essen um das Hotel herum betrifft (und auch Altstadt) kann ich nur empfehlen entweder im Hotel essen oder in kleineren Dörfern und Ortschaften abseits der Touri-Meilen essen gehen.

It was close to many restaurants for lunch and dinner as we weren't all inclusive. Also opposite the beach. Rhodes town centre was only a 10 minute drive from the hotel where there were loads of bars/restaurants to visit. Would definitely go back!

Very bad lighting to the main road. - We had a dramatic experience with a fire alarm going of in our room for over two and a half hours which has been dealt with under separate cover. Very disappointed with the way your company and the hotel have dealt with us. The hotel have lied to you and you have supported them. - LUC (8/5): Het hotel heeft een overgewaardeerde quotering. - dit hotel is geen vijf sterren maar vier sterren De kamer heeft een kleine TV met 12 progamma's Het hoofdrestaurant kan de vele toeristen niet aan en dus zijn er wachtrijen(duur 10 minuten) Het eten is goed maar geen vijf sterren waardig.
- DDW (8/5): Good hotel near the beach and Rhodes town. - Lovely family holiday. Children had a great time in the swimming pools - of which there are three. Good breakfast with a large selection of hot and cold food. Suites/family suites very convenient and spacious. Short taxi drive to Rhodes Town and the Old City, which is great to wander around in the evening. The Old City is very children friendly in terms of both the shopping and the restaurants. The beach across the road has pebbles and is slightly more windy than beaches on the other side of the island. It is however fantastic for windsurfing if that is what you are looking for. The closest sandy beach is in Rhodes town - a 5 minute taxi ride away. We had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying at the Olympic Palace again if we went back.
- Andy (6/5): Not to everyone's taste - This is more of a 4 star 18-30 hotel than 5 star luxury. Lots of groups of young people and loud music. The hotel is a tale of two halls where they try and pass themselves off as family friendly and 5 star but they also cater for package holiday groups and for me it doesn't work. Trying to please everyone is very difficult and as a family looking for a relaxing break I can't say we got it. The facilities are good though and the entertainment was great but will sadly be going somewhere else next year.
