- Sara (8/5): - Paid extra for room with swim up pool, but the room was tiny with few surfaces to put things on. Patio and tiny pool shared with 3 other rooms. No privacy at all. Nowhere to sit as just bean bags. Sun never touched the patio all day. Asked if we could change room but none available.Do not book these rooms as you pay extra for unusable facilities

- Gabriel (10/5): Great Hotel! - I stayed at the Mykonos Beach Hotel with my 17 year old daughter. Great hotel with infinity pool with phenomenal view of the water. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the beautiful Mykonos town and a 10 minute quad drive to Ornos Beach. There is also a beautiful beach just across the street from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- Beata (6/5): - Stayed here for 4 nights in a Suite with a hot tub. The room was facing a busy street with trucks, buses and people passing busy at all hours of the day and night. Would not recommend this room type. The hotel itself is not a 5 star resort despite the rating on Expedia, at best it’s 4 star but more like 3.5 stars. Breakfast had a big selection but below average quality.
- Sunny Sahil (10/5): - Hotel was great, location is amazing as its close to everything. Food was average. Selective vegetarian options. Dining area gets full very quickly so you have to wait to be seated. Room service was good in terms of cleaning but make sure you lock up your valubles in a safe place as i found one of the cleaners in our room when DO NOT DISTURB SIGN WAS DISPLAYED. I did mention this to the reception and was apologised. Otherwise the hotel was a great stay. Had a very good room with a private Jacuzzi (Plunge pool).

- Linda (8/5): - I didn’t like the fact that we had to rake our own luggage up and back down to the lobby… also we were with friends and the gadget a Nespresso machine and we didn’t even have coffee in our room I had to request it and was given instant coffee
- Becky (8/5): - The hotel is really nice and the staff is super friendly. Overall it was a great get-away but just a few things that I think would have made it better: - they had different events every night that went until late so it would be really loud if I didn't want to participate and made it hard to sleep - they advertise that they have parking on the premises. This I would disagree with because I had to find parking along side the road and sometimes circle many times or park in areas that I wasn't entirely sure was legal to park in then I would have to move it when a spot opened up. - I wish that there was more variety in their breakfast selection. After day 2, it just got kind of old because it almost the same thing every morning. That being said, we had a pretty enjoyable stay here and if we came back to this same area, we would stay here again.

Le petit déjeuner est copieux, avec un très grand choix au buffet, sur demande ils ont du pain sans gluten. - Alexandra (10/5): Fantastic hotel, going above and beyond - Fantastic hotel, very close to a choice of great beaches (I recommend Palm Beach in particular which is a 15 min walk away, but there are closer ones also). The food for breakfast and dinner was spectacular and choice full, both veggie and meat options and different types of cuisines (Greek/cretan, Asian etc). The hotel offers free of charge events such as wine tasting, Greek food cooking classes, Aqua aerobics and DJ night. Excellent service too, everyone very polite and helpful. There is a cocktail bar next to the pool where you can order drinks from via the app the hotel grants you access to during your stay. Fab experience 10/10!!

Excellent position, on the beach. Really excellent cleaning, vaste variety of food. I loved wake me up because of tasty smells of pancakes entering from my balcony. Beautiful touching evening live music. Really grateful to everyone of you, you made my holidays!))) I would love to come back!

Points positifs : - superbe piscine, proche mer - super transat, bel équipement - nourriture plutôt moderne et correcte - petit dejeuner très copieux - propreté irréprochable - malgré les points négatifs,j'y retournerai Points négatifs : - il est indiqué 5 étoiles : ce n'en est pas un. Dans un 5 étoiles : - les lits seraient de meilleure qualité - l'accueil à la réception serait bien meilleure - l'isolation des portes, l'insorisation globale aussi - il y aurait un parking privé - le personnel serait plus aimable - les horaires check in/out - le client qui reste une nuit n'est pas considéré de la même manière que le client du tour opérator qui reste la semaine. Voici ce qui s'est mal passé : Nous sommes arrivés avec un enfant de 4 ans à 14h. On nous a dit de patienter 16h. Ok c'est dans les conditions. A 15h40, on nous dit que la chambre sera prête à 16h/16h10. A 16h, on nous dit que ça sera prêt dans 30min. Finalement après avoir râlé, la chambre nous a été donné dans les temps. Mais je ne comprends pas pourquoi c'était toujours mouillé au sol. 2 heures que nous attendions et ils préparent la chambre à 16h Pourtant, j'ai vu des gens à plusieurs reprises avec des valises dans le couloir à 13h faire un checkin J'ai réglé la veille à la reception toutes les boissons du bar, la personne m'a débité en pound et non en euros sans mon accord et le lendemain ils avaient oublié des consommation en plus. Le gros défaut est la gestion de la réception.

- Rachel (10/5): 👍👍 - I booked a last minute stay at Albatros to extend my stay in Crete. It was the best decision! This property has everything you need. Amazing and helpful staff, plentiful buffets, 2 swimming pools, pool bar and ice cream shop (gourmet gelato for only 2€), evening activities and AMAZING spa with great deals! I built my own 90 minute spa package for 60€ (hydrotherapy, back massage & facial). The resort is very close to the beach and boardwalk as well. I loved every minute of my time at Albatros. No problems at all.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent stay, but do NOT book a standard room! - Whatever you do, do NOT book a standard room or you will be very disappointed. The hotel is split into a few buildings and their standard rooms are in the old part of the hotel. We were there for the 1st night and got very upset with the overall standard of the room. It was clean, but think 1980s style of dark furniture, yellow AC unit which barely worked, crappy fridge, etc. Based on the pictures, this is not what I was expecting when I booked the room. Luckily, the lovely staff at reception were able to give us an upgrade for the 2nd night so we got moved to the nice part of the hotel: it felt like a different world! I finally understood why the hotel was rated 4-5* because the standard rooms barely scraped a 2*. Breakfast and dinner were included which was great seeing the variety of food on offer. What I definitely cannot fault is the staff working there. Every single person we came in contact with was very professional, friendly and willing to help. We will come back here but we will book a superior room from the get-go.

- PY (10/5): Great holiday here - The hotel staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful. Location is great we could hear the waves from our lovely big balcony, the buffet breakfast was full of choice. There was a better beach heading right 8 minutes away, ours was rather rocky near the waters edge. Entertainment great. Only niggle was the bed mattresses were too hard for us but then again we didn’t report it so perhaps something would have been done. Rooms were very clean

- Ru (6/5): Hotel with tired main building but with nice staff - Hotel has 3 building - 1 old and 2 new. Old one is very very tired. I stayed there and wasn't happy even my standart room was upgraded to juniour suite. But staff in the gotel was nice as well as the food in main restaurant. The whole area of Hersonnisos is touristic hell - thoudans hotels and touristic shops, no beach, no pleasant landscape. Never come back there!

- Magdalena (10/5): Toppenhotell - Fantastiskt hotell med supertrevlig personal. Rent och fräscht, daglig städning. Kanonfrukost med stor variation. Strandhanddukar som man kunde byta när man ville. Vi blev uppgraderade till superiorrum de sista två dagarna, trevligt!!! Både standardrummen och superiorrummet var jättefina. Jag kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell

- Andrea (8/5): Ottima posizione - Ottima posizione a pochi metri dal mare, l'albergo ha delle ali recenti ed altre più datate, con livelli delle camere ovviamente diversi. Noi abbiamo soggiornato per cinque giorni nell' ala più vecchia, in una camera adeguata alle nostre aspettative (ovvero a quanto pagato). Gli ultimi due giorni ci hanno proposto di trasferirci in una camera di qualità superiore, gratis, con vista sul mare e su scavi archeologici in corso. Molto disponibile e gentile il personale, in particolare il receptionist Adam ed una sua collega orientale. L'ultimo giorno, avendo noi il volo di ritorno a sera inoltrata, ci hanno custodito le valigie anche dopo il check out, mettendoci a disposizione piscina, una doccia e la toilette. Camere sempre pulite ogni giorno. Due piscine molto curate e pulite. Internet wi-fi incluso per n°1 dispositivo per camera. Nel complesso siamo molto soddisfatti dell' esperienza vissuta presso questo Hotel.

- Jo (2/5): Like staying in a 24 hour nightclub - This hotel is not all bad - their lunchtime food is delicious, and inexpensive. The swimming pool is ice cold but very refreshing on a hot day. Rooms are very, very clean; all the communal areas too, and especially the pool. The location is fantastic - near some lovely restaurants. There are lots of sunbeds, but only around 1/3 are comfortable ones with padding - you need to get down to the pool by 8:15am to bag your bed. The reason for the rating is the volume of music around the pool area. If you enjoy your sun holidays with Euro-pop and rock sumping out of the speakers at eardrum-breaking levels, this is the hotel for you! I thought something had gone wrong on the first day when the speakers were cranked up at around 11am to deliver 'Mr Bombastic' and 'I Like to Move it Move It', but after a while another couple asked the music to be turned down, and it was. For about an hour. Then it was cranked up again. And so began our five day stay. Every couple of hours, the music, gradually growing louder, would reach the point where I'd read the same sentence in my book seven times and had a thumping headache from the thumping bass. I'd ask them to turn it down, and they would; for a time. Then it would creep back up. But by the second day, our requests were largely ignored. They'd claim they had turned the music down, but it really did not seem like it. Indeed, we were told: ‘everyone loves the music!’ I admit, music is a largely personal affair, but I would guess that rare is
- Rafal (8/5): Good hotel, not too expensive - We stayed in room 227, it seemed that that room was in the original built of the hotel as the fixture and fittings were a bit dated. The other buildings within the complex seemed newer. The tv was on a small size and instead of being in the wall, it was placed on a small table. You were watching the tv with your head turned at 45 degrees to the left. Free WiFi most of the time was very, very slow. I don't agree with paying 18 euros (for a week) to have access to the faster internet. The faster internet during our stay was faster than the free of charge one, sometimes not by much. We used an app to measure the speed. We noticed that there were a lot of pensioners in the hotel. The beach near the hotel wasn't brilliant but you can walk a bit from the hotel to get to nicer beach or take a bus to the other beach. Hotel is close to the center of hersonissos. Staff was very pleasant, coffee was always topped up at beakfast without fuss. You can stay there if you fancy it.

- Nicola (10/5): One of the best hotels... - We stayed here for 12 nights from 12 July 2015 and the hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The whole hotel including our room was extremely clean, rooms cleaned daily. There are two pools, atmosphere around them was brilliant, music playing and the staff created a buzz everyday. The newer sunbeds are so comfortable, and there was no mad rush in the mornings to get these sunbeds either. We stayed on a breakfast only basis, the breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was just tucked round the corner from the main Hersonissos strip but perfect to get away from the buzzy strip if you want to. The beach is about a 2 min walk if that. The main strip is about 5 minutes away. The only downside to the hotel was their wifi. You have to pay 18 Euros per week per device for wifi and it wasn't that great. We could barely get the wifi in the room despite them saying that it was accessible throughout the hotel. The staff were the best staff I have come across. They literally cannot do enough for you. Especially Aria and Georgia who worked in the pool bar. We ate there for lunch every day and they always made us laugh and very welcome. They are such lovely people. The food at lunch was awesome and the service even better! We stayed for a wedding anniversary celebration and they gave us a room with the best views and a bottle of wine to celebrate. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. :)

- Simon (8/5): close to beach, with attentive and friendly staff - I took breakfast a few days and it had a good range of hot e.g. eggs, bacon, as well as cold meats and cheeses; and cold e.g. pastries, fruit etc (Small issue was that I thought I had bought breakfast with my expedia booking but wasn't explicitly stated. Hotel offered to discount price for breakfast from 10 to 5 euro, (expedia hadn't required to my enquiry to confirm their understanding of whether breakfast was inclusive in over a week). The hotel also has several pools and a massage etc. centre although I didn't try this. The Wifi was pretty good, my room's receoption was a bit poor but fine down the corridor or in the lobby. I could not get a late check out as they were full but they did lend me towels and let me take a shower in the very nice facilitiesbefore my 9pm flight on my last day. Hernossios doesn't have an especially big beach but the water is very clea and nice for swimming and was very nice the first week of June Prebook a taxi for 31 euros from Heraklion airport

I loved the relaxing atmosphere and in particular the spa treatments. It is a lovely hotel in a great location- couldn't have asked for more!
- s (8/5): nice hotel. - stayed 1 week in this hotel, was perfect location close to shops and bars etc. hotel looked nice although did not like reception area very dark and dated looking. our standard room was a decent size although bathroom was too small and shower tiny barely room to move but very clean. Also no sun ever got to our veranda are very disappointing. Pool areas lovely plenty room to choose where to sit. staff were lovely and friendly.
- pips (6/5): not great - When booking it said this was a five star hotel. Nothing like it. We booked a double bed room and had two singles pushed together. Internet had to be paid for even in the lobby. Toilet no exhaust. Hotel no parking!. Hotel on the road difficult to find and getting luggage up was problem.
- Roger (8/5): Our holiday in Hersonissos, Crete - This hotel is nice but not a 5 star. 4 star at best. It was close to the town, taverna's and shopping areas. The food was acceptable but not great. The staff were all great. The bartender Alex was a great guy and made our martini's just perfect.
- Reut (8/5): Nice family hotel - a little not organized... - We visited the hotel on Sep 2012. We were on our honeymoon and when we checked in we told this to the receptionist and she gave us a voucher for the SPA - only that we discovered it was only for a jacuzzi and we were a little disappointed. We also got a 2 twin bed's room - on our honeymoon... when we asked if there is anything to do about it we were told that the bed will be made as double but the only difference was that we got 1 big blanket instead of 2 small ones. another issue we had is that the A\C was remotely controlled by the hotel and we were very hot. one evening a hoetl worker came to see what was our problem and told us that he will come back in the morning to fix it - we are still waiting... :( but overall - the hotel was very nice, had the best location we could ask for and we would probably book it again next time - only we would make sure to be a little more loud with our issues and make sure not to be forgotten...
