- Charles (10/5): - In a great position overlooking the bay, with views across to Bass Rock. Only a short and pleasant walk to the town centre. We stayed in one of the best rooms, with a superb sea view. The breakfast was excellent, served in a light and airy room with, yet again, great views.

- Chris (8/5): I had a great stay and will be back again hoping that more renovation is done between visits - The building and location fantastic There is a lot of renovation and updating required The toilets are awful constantly blocking with ambiguous messaging around not allowing anything in it but yet only a normal waste paper bin for disposal??? Not hygienic for visitors and staff at all

- Anna (7/5): Short stay in Dunbar, Scotland. - The hotel is located in beautiful place. Great view from the room. Very quiet place. Warm room. Good breakfast. It feels like every tiny hotel in old style. Room was small. The window in room was old and could feel cold air coming through broken pieces. One night was terrible heavy rain and awful wind for the hours. Storm was disgusting but typical for the Scotland. The window was covered in steam and it was wet and room became cold . Window needs to be exchanged for a modern one especially that storms in Scotland are standards. Breakfast needs bigger choice of food. The Dunbar is a very quiet town. Not many places to eat . Small private shops. Did not see any coffee shops around. Not many activities to do around. Good place for older people. Other it looks more as village. If you want food you need to walk to the town. Nothing along the coast line. Not much to see around. Just cliffs and old ruins of the castle.

No information in t.he room about the hotel or Dunbar and the surrounding area.

- Steven (3/5): Amazing Views, But Disappointed - The views where amazing, esp from the hot tub. BThe full Scottish breakfast was really good also. Bed was rock hard (some people do like). The room had a lot of rough edges, there were dead bugs on the floor. Also, someone else hair in the bath (very short and curly) and around the toilet.

- HD-B (8/5): Fabulous views on this lovely seaside town. - Fabulous location in this lovey victorian seaside town. Our room looked over the ocean and it was thrilling to watch the tide go out and the landscape completely change. The dining area also has amazing views and the food was good. Our room was small and there was an unnecessary lobby area that would have been more useful as part of the room or for storage. The main window didn't open so it was a little stuffy, especially as one of the radiators didn't turn off so was on full the whole time.

I was able to sit in the snug room and work on my laptop. The view is exceptional It was not an issue as there was little to do, but housekeeping forgot to clean my room on the 1st day. I did let reception know ;-)
