Tutto: non sono venuti a prenderci in aeroporto noi e altri clienti. Abbiamo provato a chiamare e non ha risposto nessuno per ore (conferma di transfer avvenuta la mattina stessa del volo). Ci ha portato li un signore che ci ha visto in difficoltà. L'acqua della doccia esce marrone per i primi minuti DIVE CENTER PEGGIORE DELLA COSTA. Costoso, arroganti e non preparati sulle informazioni. Ognuno vi dà prezzi diversi, costi aggiuntivi all'ultimo. ANDATE DA UN ALTRA PARTE! La receptionist del dive center AMIRA arrogante come poche, le avevo chiesto di prenotare due giorni di barca. Mi ha confermato ma il giorno dopo ha negato tutto, siamo dovuti andare a vedere le videoregistrazioni per capire chi aveva ragione. Nessuna scusa, solo arroganza anche dopo che nel video era visibile la richiesta avvenuta il giorno prima. SE VOLETE FARE SUB ANDATE DA UN ALTRA PARTE. Ci sono altri 3 centri nei dintorni raggiungibili a piedi. Molto più economici e seri che mi hanno salvato la vacanza
• Marta (7/5): Good place but could be better w little changes - Its very calm and relaxing envirionment, away from noisy Naama area. The coral and fish in the area. Cleaner water than in Naama. Good if u want to snorkel or dive. The guys from the bar restaurant were very nice specially Peter and Ahmed who even spoke to us in Spanish. The view from our balcony was also great. Breakfast and dinner, there were many options. The food was good. The neighbourhood is empty. Hotels around under construction. When arriving u feel like in the middle of nowhere but u can easily book a taxi and go anywhere. Use in drive app. There is not mattress cover and we found that unhygienic. Some of ouw towels and sheets had stains. The cleaning in the room can improve and that would make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy.

• Be Ese Ese (9/5): Hotel antiguo pero con encanto - Hotel estilo beduino en el acantilado al lado del mar. Está un poco viejo pero tiene mucho encanto. El personal es super amable, sin excepción alguna, recepción, personal en la playa, limpiadores, camareros. Tiene centro de buceo aunque no lo use. Hice snorkel en la playa y está bien, es muy cómodo, aunque la zona que tiene con boyas es pequeña puedes pasar a la del hotel con quién comparten playa y la otra es mas grande. La zona de bar con alfombras a modo chiringuito es super chula. Habitaciones lindas con buen aire acondicionado y vistas al mar. Colchón muy cómodo. Tienen transporte al aeropuerto gratis y te van a buscar cuando llegas. Pude hacer late check out por 15e ya que mi vuelo era tarde. Fue difícil contactar con ellos por Booking. Mejor agreguen el número de tlf y hablen por WhatsApp y ahí si responden. La comida podría estar mejor aunque es buena si vas muchos días no hay mucha variedad. La ducha se sale todo el agua ya que el plato es minúsculo. Tiene bastantes escaleras si eliges habitación estándar (no cabaña). No es para ti si te van los lujos pero es encantador.

It was at the seaside and there was a diving club and a nice cafe nearby, at the seaside. Very comfortable for divers and then great yo chill in the evenings It wasn’t super tidy even though I know it was cleaned up.

• Tatiana (10/5): Tranquil grounding heartwarming place. - This is such a special place in the world- stuck in time and so you are able to touch something very real, something that almost doesn’t exist anymore in the world. The key star points of this place is that staff will treat you like a family. And not in a cliche way. They are such real humble and friendly people and they have amazing values there and they really let you into their hearts when you visit. This is very special. The coral reef on the doorstep is very special and all the incredible fish which you can see while snorkelling there. I love how this place is very basic but that’s exactly what you need to ground yourself. This place has a piece of my heart. I love it. That they allow boats to be too close to the reef which emits chemicals and kill the reef. That they don’t physically tell each customer who comes to the beach NOT to walk onto the reef and use the jetty. They rely on posters but of course people won’t read them. I guess they don’t want to feel constantly stressed by telling off people but having a wonder of the world of a coral reef comes with a responsibility of protecting it and I wish they were more robust with people. They won’t scare off people who truly care and they will raise awareness. It’s amazing how people don’t think that they come to this beach to see the beautiful reef and the fish but wear sunscreens full of chemicals which they then dissolve in water and kill the fish and the reef and the corals and they also are so irresponsible to insist on walking onto the reef instead of using the jetty. People’s lack of responsibility is very frustrating!
• Andrea (9/5): - Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Spiaggia privata molto bella e tranquilla, ideale se si cerca un resort in cui fare più che altro mare e rimanere tranquilli. In acqua lo spazio in cui si può stare è abbastanza piccolo ma la barriera corallina è ben conservata. Consiglio anche di prenotare con loro le varie esperienze (Ras Mohamed, deserto ecc), sono molto ben organizzate e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Servizio forse a volte un po' lento, camera pulita ma l'hanno pulita solo una volta in 4 giorni (non passano tutti i giorni a meno che non glielo si chieda esplicitamente).

• Eran (8/5): Unique and enjoyable stay - I stayed at the hotel for one night and had a very pleasant experience overall. The bed in the room was very comfortable. The room itself is a bit old, but it feels authentic, and that’s part of its charm. There is also a wonderful balcony facing the sea, which really adds to the experience. The food at the hotel is excellent, and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. The beach is absolutely stunning and adds a lot to the overall experience. Mosquitoes were quite a problem. I got bitten during dinner, and there was a mosquito in the room that disturbed my sleep and caused me to wake up early in the morning. The biggest disappointment was the lack of Wi-Fi in the room; it was only available in the reception and dining areas. On the other hand, it can also be nice to disconnect a bit from the internet. Another disappointing point was that the booking mentioned a free airport shuttle, but unfortunately no shuttle was provided, and I had to pay quite a lot for a taxi.

• Maryna Troshchenko (10/5): Stunning sea view - I would recommend this place to anyone seeking privacy, relaxation, and delicious food. My room had a very large balcony and a stunning sea view. The interior was made of natural stone and wood, and antique Egyptian artifacts hung on the walls. The wide bed had a very comfortable mattress, just right for those with back problems. The pillows were also comfortable. The room had a hot shower and air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a TV. Cleaning was regular and thorough. I'd also like to mention the restaurant: I had breakfast and dinner included. Breakfast was very good. There was always fresh fruit salad, omelette, yogurt, pastries, different types of cheese, feta, coffee, and tea. The waiter personally served a glass of fresh water every morning. Dinner was restaurant-style. They bring a menu from which you can choose two dishes plus dessert, which they prepare fresh on the spot and serve beautifully. The hotel staff is very polite and attentive. The work is well organized and coordinated between the staff. They're clean and treat every visitor with the utmost respect. They allow you to swim from pontoon to pontoon and even further. they didn't have a hair dryer

La plage est au centre de l’hôtel et permet d’y plonger directement avec de magnifiques coraux et poissons à 10 m du bord. Les serveurs sont d’une gentillesse extrêmes. Dommage que de nombreux touristes oublient de leur donner des pourboires (cela est essentiel car participe considérablement à leur salaire et culturellement apprécié)

• Canadianelle (8/5): Beautiful setting and enjoyable stay - The design of the hotel is very creative and delightful. Each room is different with its own charm. Mine was rather cramped, but the view was lovely. It was clean and safe. Service in the restaurant was great, and the menu offers a nice combination of traditional and western style dishes. Beach was wonderful and quiet. Very relaxing. The front desk and reception were always helpful, and took care of our requests for rides into the city efficiently. . The wifi was unstable.

De nombreux coraux sains à quelques mètres seulement de la plage, parfait pour du snorkeling. Le restaurant bédouin est très agréable, il est facile d'échanger avec les autres quand on est seul, les plats sont très bons et à un prix très correct. Le personnel est à l'écoute et très sympathique. Je retournerai à Umbi Sharks sans hésiter. La propreté de la salle de bain serait l'unique défaut de cet hôtel.

• Kity (10/5): Quiet location, kind staff, tasty food, and an amazing diving experience! - I absolutely loved my stay at Umbi Sharks Bay Diving Village and am so glad I found this hidden gem! The location is calm and peaceful, with cabin rooms right on the beach, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea view. The staff are friendly and helpful. They made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived, helped organize day trips, looked after guests’ belongings on the beach, and were always ready to help with anything I needed. Their massage therapist is a true professional who provides excellent treatments! The food is delicious, with both breakfast and dinner included and always fresh. The bar offers drinks at fair prices and has a great area for relaxing and enjoying the seaside vibe. I also loved the cats around the resort, as they add to the warm, laid-back atmosphere. Snorkeling right off the hotel beach is amazing, with plenty of colorful fish and coral to see. For diving enthusiasts, the resort’s instructor is fantastic. He has great teaching skills and my trial dive went perfectly under his guidance. I’m looking forward to returning to complete the full course. The rooms are simple but cozy, cleaned regularly, and just steps away from the sea. The atmosphere makes it perfect for both solo travelers and couples looking to unwind and enjoy a quiet, friendly place. Wi-Fi can be weak at times, and the main attractions are a bit far away, but the hotel conveniently organizes transport and day trips. The rooms are a little old, but they are well maintained and kept very clean.

Il posto è fantastico, dal mare alla tua stanza con terrazzino sulla baia ci vuole non più di un minuto di ciabattamento. Rafat, la persona della reception, e la ragazza del Beauty, sono simpaticissimi e molto accoglienti. Ottimo anche lo staff del bar. Stanze grandi ma abbastanza spartane, però, visti i convenientissimi prezzi, ci sta. Materassi e lenzuola da rivedere. Quando tornerò, cosa che avverrà di sicuro almeno nei mesi invernali, mi procurerò da solo coprimaterasso e lenzuola adeguate.

На нем вообще невозможно спать. КОМАРЫ!!! Это беда этого кемпинг. Первые два дня я смог уснуть потому что был пьяный. Но третий день я не смог уснуть до 5 утра. Я весь был искусан. У меня чесалось всё. Я их не мог убить всех никак. При том что двери и окна у меня всегда были закрыты. Откуда их в домике столько. Фумигатор что они оставили в комнате проблему не решал....
• Hols969 (9/5): Great stay on the whole so would go back - Such a stunning building that looks so original and in keeping with the area (unlike some of the new ones), beautifully done and great to walk around and have a little explore and a fantastic view from the top Rooms were cleaned well, you had to put your card out if you wanted your room cleaned and then they supplied more water etc (water is about 20p a litre at the supermarket on sight). Beds were quite firm (we actually took camping mattresses just in case as another reviewer had said they were awful) but didn't use them as actually they were firm but actually quite comfortable (good power on shower). One room had a small balcony and the other had no balcony so make sure you request one if you want one. Good, varied buffet in the morning with a chap to cook eggs if desired (a little slow maybe as only one pan). Khaled the waiter was superb and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for him Really good food in the evenings, with half board you had the options of B on the menu so could have starter, main and desert and enough choice for 2 weeks. Hummus was great as a starter and had that most days. Service was superb on the first week by Peter, Mohammed (x 2) and Sakr, really nice young men. Service on the 2nd week was terrible (all had gone on hols I think) and some days we didn't bother with desert as no one to about (we did mainly sit in the Bedouin area rather than the restaurant as it was a bit bland) Beach chaps did an amazing job of keeping the beach clean and tidy and raked, coral is amazing off the jetty but you cannot swim off the beach directly as coral very close (can have a shallow knee/thigh dip) Boat diving was excellent as well and all very efficient and worked like a well oiled machine by all the staff. Food was excellent on the boat as well There is an ATM there in case worried about getting cash, fees were quite high (someone said 11%) but we had Wise card with EGP loaded and I think it was about 5%. Shower in our room was great power wise but impossible to keep the water in the small shower tray so every time we showered the floor was flooded, tried all sorts of variation with the shower curtain (potentially too short) so that was very frustrating and had to wring out the floor matt 2 or 3 times! 1 nights food, the service was terrible and all the food arrived cold as well which hadn't happened before or after but couldn't be bothered to complain as no one about.... Diving was great but miscommunication, we had to do a refresher dive as 1 year 3 weeks since last diving and were encouraged to do the nitrox qualification which we believed inc the refresher but after diving it was an additional which was frustrating as very stretched money wise as hadn't had to do a refresher dive any where else previously as included in the first general dive (our issue for not registering you had to do a fresher) but did believe the nitrox and fresher could be done as one cost so that was an extra 150 eur on top of the 260 eur refresher (plus we wanted to do a boat dive too) Unable to swim from the beach as coral close to the shore, the beach area next door had a wider opening so you could go up to your chest but kept being told off by the guard so it is a shame this isn't owned by Umbi as well as it is the only bit you can have a proper dip in if you don't fancy the pontoon option (and the water was cold in January!!!) Wifi .... ok in the restaurant (wasn't available for 3 days though and son waiting for exam results) but awful/non existent in the rooms. Would be happy if consistently good in the Bedouin area though which it wasn't as not fussed about overnight or in the rooms

• CChats (9/5): I will always stay at Umbi Diving Village. - The staff, the view, the airport shuttle and most of all the breakfast and dinner that came built-in with the booking. Many steps to climb to the bedouin rooms with great views of the bay as well as the steps inside. Made it difficult to move in low light. So I shifted to the wooden cottages on the beach, where there was no climbing, but the room was much smaller.

• Juan Jose (9/5): Pequeño gran paraíso al lado de los famosos peces y corales - Pequeño paraíso a pie de playa, alejado del resto de hoteles de la zona (aunque cerca de un café precioso) Las habitaciones son cabañas básicas, pero con todas las comodidades. Está a 10 metros del agua donde, comn meter la cabeza, se ven los corales y los peces que viven en ellos. El personal es amable. Y el desayuno bufet y el menú del restaurante sin muy variados e internacionales. Está todo riquísimo (es el sitio donde mejor he comido del viaje) Si buscas relax, es tu sitio. No hay mucho alrededor para dar un paseo. Necesitas un taxi o similar.

• Serena (9/5): - This small hotel on the sea front is a fabulous find. I'd eaten here before and was keen to stay. I chose a room with balcony and half board, which was a bargain because the food is excellent and I'd have had all my meals here anyway. The rooms are a little old but comfortable, the bed was firm and sheets very soft. The beach has sunbeds and parasols (free for guests of the hotel) there is also a dive club. You can snorkel from the edge of the beach and see so many fish! Staff very welcoming and helpful. Excellent price and transfer to and from airport was appreciated. Thanks to all who made my stay so enjoyable. Fabulous if you want to keep away from the tourists, noise and bars... otherwise it's a good 15min drive to the town centre, but I preferred the quietness of being here!

• Elisa (7/5): Esperienza autentica - La spiaggia del villaggio è intima e affaccia su una barriera corallina meravigliosa, in cui è possibile fare snorkeling noleggiando a pochi euro l’attrezzatura in loco. Il ristorante è ottimo. Con la mezza pensione (o intera) è possibile scegliere, a pasto, un antipasto, piatto principale e dolce alla carta (bevande escluse) e la selezione è varia. I piatti sono veramente deliziosi (consiglio il pollo e la carne al curry); ne sono rimasta stupita. Se si vuole ordinare qualcosa fuori da ciò che è incluso, il prezzo è veramente competitivo. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, nonostante la barriera linguistica, a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Nota di merito per il servizio transfert incluso da e per l’aereoporto che dista solo 15 minuti dal villaggio. Il villaggio ha i suoi anni e si nota. Le cabine sono piccole ed essenziali. Non sono proprio in ottimo stato: porte sgangherate e zanzariere rotte (ci sono parecchie zanzare) ma il grosso problema è il bagno: doccia scoperta (si allaga sempre il bagno), acqua sporca i primi secondi dall’accensione e sempre fredda. Il personale non parla bene inglese. Alla reception riesci a farti comprendere, ma non senza sforzi. Il centro di Sharm dista 25/30 minuti in macchina.
