Guest Reviews
- Elin (8/5): Härlig tid med familjen! - Poolen och jaccuzzin utanför rummet. Det luktade lite mögel från badrummet när vi anlände. Hårda höga kuddar. Saknade poolbar och pentry på rummet.
- Zoe (4/5): -
- Jenny (10/5): - Great spacious suites close walk to the beach and Christian took care of all our needs and very friendly.I would recommend this hotel 👍
- Adventure560356 (8/5): Great but Lacking... - Great choice but lacking a few things... The location was great, the room was great and clean and the view was beautiful . What was missing was the breakfast they no longer offer (we didn't know til we were there) and staff! It is self check-in and out with a key box and there is a maintenance person who is around. There is no one to ask for dinner suggestions, directions or the spa treatments they mention (didn't see a place for that either). There was a bar by the pool but it was either closed or no one was there. If you want a nice place without staff or continental breakfast this is it.
7 min walk down the hill to the beach where you can rent 2 chairs/umbrella for around $25 a day. There is a small grocery store about 4 min away (where we bought our breakfast foods). The family restaurant across the street was great. The hotel next door has a nice concierge where you can buy bus tickets to port and they have an actual spa as well. Bus stop to the port and old town is across the street on the corner (going up the hill). Also you can get bus tickets at port to get to the hotel, don't waist the $40 for a cab/uber
- Faye (8/5): - We had a lovely stay at Mitos Suites. Christian looks after the apartments and the cleanliness is 10/10 - I have never seen such a clean pool! The property is quiet, we always had access to sunbeds around the pool. The bed is a great size and comfortable too. The location is fantastic, there is free parking so close, and you're a couple of mins walk from lots of restaurants and bars. Little fridge can fit water and a few food items. The only thing that would make this property even better is to include breakfast.
- Thomas (10/5): - Awesome accommodation
- 563katerinaj (10/5): Highly recommended - Our stay at Mitos Suites was amazing! The suite was spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. The huge, crystal-clear pool was another highlight, perfect for relaxing.
The staff made our stay unforgettable everyone was kind and welcoming. A special thank you to Christian and Ezat for their exceptional hospitality and professionalism. They truly made us feel at home.
We will definitely return on our next trip to Naxos!
- Martin (10/5): Nice place if you don’t have mobility issues - We enjoyed our stay, but had difficulty checking in as staff seemed to be limited. When we finally met Christian he was so wonderful, helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely and so were the decks. We rarely saw anyone and it was very quiet. Parking in this area is difficult as it’s limited so if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. There was a dinner restaurant right across the street but do not use their driveway for pick up as it is frowned upon as we very rudely learned. We don’t speak Greek so didn’t understand the message on the sign. All in all this was a nice place to stay and easy access to many things.
- Katerina (10/5): - Our stay at Mitos Suites was amazing! The suite was spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. The huge, crystal-clear pool was another highlight, perfect for relaxing.

We will definitely return on our next trip to Naxos!
- Lauraine (10/5): Parfait pour un séjour en famille - Merveilleux séjour en famille avec ados qui ont adoré le jacuzzi
L’emplacement est parfait et le personnel très attentionné.
- Jessica (10/5): - The staff were lovely and very accomodating. The room was clean had everything we needed! Location was great for us a short walk to gyros and beach!! The pool was kept very clean Nothing
- Helen (7/5): Good value complex close to Agios Prokopios - Excellent comms with manager
Great and friendly on site manager
Kind bottle of wine gesture at end of stay
Opposite excellent taverna
Kids loved pool Confusion / cross wires over complimentary breakfast which is no longer offered.
Walk down into Agios Prokopios felt a little unsafe for children as no pavements (not the fault of Mitos Suites though!)
- Dianna (7/5): Excellent property in great location. Would benefit from some facilities such as breakfast provision and pool bar. - Great location and really friendly helpful staff. Room was really clean with great pool. As no breakfast is provided and nowhere on site to get meals it would have been useful to have more provisions in the room to self cater e.g. crockery, cutlery and a bigger fridge.
- Marjolene (7/5): -
Mange restauranter i nærheten.
Eneste vi savnet var mulighet for å lage enkel mat siden det ikke serveres frokost lenger.
- Alexander (9/5): Really enjoyable stay, room a good size and very clean - Location was good, short walk down to the beach and town. Room was very clean, and cleaned everyday. Travel cot was new and in good condition. The pool area was great and again exceptionally clean. Staff on site were friendly and helpful, organising things like taxis. Slightly more self catering facitlies would be helpful and maybe a bigger fridge. Nothing else.
- Johanna (6/5): - Christian was very helpful and very diligent.
- Patrick (10/5): - Sehr super. Sehr freundlich. Einfach zu empfehlen
- 604emilyf (2/5): Disgraceful and dishonest. - We booked our annual family holiday for 7 nights what was advertised on booking.com as a 2bedroom Deluxe Family Suite (see attached screenshot clearly showing Bedroom1 and Bedroom2), so when we arrived and were shown a room with only 1 bedroom with en-suite bathroom we said that we must have been shown the wrong room. We were invited to ring the hotel owner who literally shouted down the phone at us for 10 minutes that we had not read the details correctly, we were in the wrong, the beds in the living room meant that it was a 2 bedroom etc etc. We were pretty shocked by the whole experience but as there was no-one else there (apart from poor Christian the maintenance guy) we went out and tried to have a good day. The next morning there was a 'manager' on site, we spoke to her, she said that it was OUR interpretation that it only had one bedroom and that the beds in the living room - because they were not sofa beds - meant that it was 2 bedrooms. She said they could do nothing else for us. We asked to check out as we had found online another apartment with 2 bedrooms down the road, she said we could check out but there would be no refund for the remaining nights.
She then told me (whilst swearing blind that the Living Room was a Bedroom) that they had changed the description of the apartment on booking.com to a 1 bedroom with Living Room - which is what it should have been in the first place!!
She then called the owner who came over to the apartment, again he said very angrily this was our fault and that I needed to 'recognise my responsibilities'! When we asked to check out with a refund for the nights we had left - he asked if we were joking and walked out. He then sent me an abusive text message saying that we had been disruptive and he would take legal action and get the local authorities involved against me if I said anything else. It was quite scary.
We had no choice but to stay in the 1 BEDROOM apartment with our 2 teenage daughters for the rest of the holiday. The apartment was described as a Deluxe Family Suite, in reality it was an average 1 bedroom apartment. The bathroom was pretty grim, see photos, the fridge was a tiny hotel room style fridge so there was no means of having a iced cold drink around the pool - even if you did have more than two glasses or cups - which we didn't even though there were four of us. When I asked about this I was told to get a drink from the hotel next door!!
There was nobody on site in the week we were there, other than the times I have described above, although we were actually quite glad about this as we felt threatened and intimidated.
Although in the beginning the owner said he would pay for a meal for us, we never heard anything else about this, and we paid around £500 more than we should have done for a comparable 1 bedroom apartment. This is not a hotel, it is simply a room with access to a pool. Whilst the pool is kept clean, there isn't any space around it and the sunbeds are cheap ones which are fixed and do not adjust in anyway so they are so uncomfortable anyone round the pool only stayed for around half an hour.
Travelling with 2 teenage daughters and all their paraphernalia it was really important to us that we had 2 bedrooms but as it was we made do for the week we had absolutely no choice, and when I emailed booking.com they just emailed the complaint straight to the hotel who said they did not recognise the complaint.
I have NEVER experienced such downright dishonesty and unpleasantness whilst travelling. When I was looking through the reviews I found another one where the owner has previous of yelling at his guests if they have a complaint.
Take my advice and stay elsewhere, Agios Prokopious is a gorgeous place to holiday and we actually had a great time having lovely food and enjoying the surrounding area and beaches.
NB I also have a live complaint with booking.com about this as it is false advertising.

- Rutger (8/5): Very good - Close to the beach - and a good beach it is. Nice swimming pool, and good and neat room, with hot-tub. Super asset No bar at the premises or reception people, hardly any staff on the premises, except for a very friendly pool guy and cleaner
- Ashley (6/5): - The property is located at the top of a little hill, without any parking. If you rent a car, you are required to park lower down the hill and walk up. This can be a little scary at night with children because the roads are narrow and curvy. We stayed in the Aphrodite suite and the main bed was hard as a rock. I did not receive check in information and they do not have an employee there to greet you. Luckily, after searching around, I was able to find someone in an old parking garage under the building who could help. The staff who care for the pool/housekeeping were excellent and my kids enjoyed the pool toys available. It was walking distance to a beach and restaurants, and did provide 3 beds, which is hard to find. The room was clean and well taken care of by staff, but ensure you have the check in info before arrival.
- Lynsey (9/5): It was a fantastic stay with very helpful staff always willing to go above and beyond. The pool was always quiet and cle - The pool was always quiet and very clean. Size of rooms was fabulous lots of space Nil
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Samantha (10/5): - Our suite was great and was well-cleaned daily. We especially liked the spacious patio and the hot tub.
The property was pristine and we thoroughly enjoyed the pools.
Other reviews mention a breakfast, but when we stayed, there was no breakfast option, which would have been nice.
The beach was a ten minute walk away, as was the busy shopping and restaurant area.
Management was responsive and flexible when our ferry back to Santorini was cancelled due to windy conditions.
- Lisa (10/5): - This was a beautiful first stop for our family of 5. The family suite fit our needs perfectly. The pool was pristine, front and back balconies were a pleasant retreat, and the beds super comfortable. We loved that we were not on the main drag, but could easily walk down the hill for coffee and croissants for breakfast. There was a nice restaurant right across the street, but with so many options right on the water, we opted to eat down there each night. Thank you to Christian for all the guidance and suggestions.
- Vivian (7/5): Good family location with average facilities. - Location is good, walking distance to Agios Prokopios. Spacious rooms with good facilities for families. Parking is 100metres down the road at a public car park. Was greeted by a staff member upon arrival for check in but no bar open for any drinks or snacks. Hardly saw any staff. Bathroom does not have a shower screen. Would have originally had a tub which has been removed and turned into a shower. Water goes all over the bathroom which is not ideal for a family group. Can be slippery and messy. Overall a reasonable place for families, clean and basic accommodation.
- VINCENZO (10/5): - Tutto perfetto.
Personale top.
- Jody (10/5): Great stay in a great location. - Awesome stay! Great location with great service. The breakfast was perfect and the room was comfortable for our family if 5. We enjoyed the pool and our patios!
- Steve (9/5): Beautiful rooms, great location and a top choice for anyone wanting to holiday in Agios Prokopious - It was exactly what we thought it would be. And in a fantastic location. Nothing. Future guests need to remind themselves this is not a hotel.
- 478randak (10/5): Home Away from home - Beautiful bright super clean suites
Love location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops
Great breakfast. Thanks Georgia for making us feel at home.
Spacious suite with nice views.
Equipped with minibar , safe
Cleaning everyday
Love ot
- Dencroft (10/5): Superb complex everything was wonderful 🩷 - On check in we were given EROS suite.
Upstairs one massive suite with everything you could possibly need.
Spotlessly clean.
Welcome gift on arrival.
Wonderful comfortable king size bed with balcony overlooking the swimming pool and sea views dressing area with hairdryer.
Tv with loads of channels, fridge with bottled water tea and coffee making facilities and two more beds. Safe was free and the air-con worked very well.
Doors lead out to a great big terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside (wow the view was fabulous) and outside jacuzzi and views over the pool again.
It was absolutely stunning.
Bathroom in the suite was excellent (had been refurbished) rainfall shower fluffy towels and really nice toiletries provided.
Breakfast is served to your table around 9 ish on the bar terrace, was fairly simple but was fine.
We only stayed for 2 nights as we were island hopping in the Cyclades it wasn’t long enough stay really, so I must say we will definitely return to the Mitos Suites and Naxos.
The area outside :- 10 minute walk and you was on the fabulous beach with soft sand and gently shelving into crystal clear water the road you walk down to get there has many shops, supermarkets and restaurants also the strip along the beach has loads of bars and restaurants.
Make sure you watch the sunset on the beach, it’s magical.
The thing we did love (might of just been good timing) but we found because the complex is so small all the other guests went out for the day, which was brilliant because that left my husband and myself with a beautiful pool all to ourselves for 2 days!!!! It was like having our own private villa, we just relaxed sunbathed, swam and got drinks from the bar!!!!!
Absolutely wonderful 👙🌞
- Tara (10/5): - My children loved the family who run Mitos Suites. They were so kind and generous! The breakfast was delicious! We made good use of the lovely swimming pool and enjoyed the milkshakes and smoothies- especially the Kiwi smoothie. Our kids would love to go back!!!
- Fr. Nareg (10/5): - Great option for families
- gitteh1210 (6/5): Mixed - Excellent beach nearby and very friendly staff. Nice, relaxed athmosphere. Rooms are spacious but because it is 4-star we expected more of the hotel’s general condition/ service. In our room there wasn’t any remote to the TV, the overhead shower didn’t work and the drinking glasses weren’t cleaned/ changed by housekeeping.
- Gitte Søager (6/5): - Excellent beach nearby and very friendly staff. Nice relaxed athmosphere. Rooms are spacious but the hotel is worn. In our room there wasn’t any remote to the TV, the overhead shower didn’t work and the drinking glasses weren’t cleaned/ changed by housekeeping.
- SARAH (10/5): Perfect! - Everything was perfect! The staff is very kind, helpful and hospitable. They have thought of all the details to make your stay very relaxing and enjoyable.
When we arrived our luggage was quickly carried up the stairs and left outside of the door. They had a welcome gift waiting in our room made up of nice local items from Naxos. Breakfast is fresh and made to order each morning and went until 11:30 so you do not need to rush to get there. They had fun family games, like Jenga, chess, and more in our room. Also, they had a PS4, which our older kids enjoyed in the morning when waiting to go to out for the day. The pools are great with water games, water polo nets and more.
We had a hot tub on one of our balconies and it was really nice and enjoyable as it gets cooler and windy once the sun goes down. We took advantage of it daily!
The location is great and walkable to the beach, shops and tons of restaurants.
Overall, it was an awesome stay!
- Klas (8/5): - Fint men lite slitet hotell. Gäster måste vara medvetna om att det inte finns AC i alla rum och att det blir väldigt varmt!
- Jorge (10/5): Perfect for families and couples. - Perffct location near restaurants, bus stop, rentals, comerce, supermarket, gas station and the best beach for families, keeping the island relaxing atmopshere. Very friendly attention, superclean rooms, very confortable. Perfect for families and couples. I would stay again any time.
- Ovais (10/5): - Wonderful service. Homemade breakfast. Convenience and facilities. Our stay was wonderful dur to this. Highly recommend.
- Julie (7/5): Great food and warm hosts. - Loved how spacious the room was and that there were two rooms. Loved the breakfasts so much and the lovely and generous gifts. Zoe was a wonderful hostess. It was really quiet at night thanks to good sound proofing. Loved watching the sunrise on the balcony and listening to the farm animals waking up. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great. And the nearby beach and restaurants were wonderful. The location was only okay. A 10 minute walk from the beach. You had to walk on a tough road to get to the public parking lot. The sea view was nice (as were the balconies and hot tub) but lots of wires in the view and some run down buildings. Not the hotel’s fault at all - just something that took away from the experience a bit. Also the bathroom had a cut out in the wall for a jacuzzi tub but it meant there was not total privacy.
- HappyGoLuckyMontreal (10/5): Excellent - Excellent service and location. Clean, Kiki and her daughters provided extraordinary service. Breakfast was delicious, traditional Greek pastries were served, definitely would go back. Two things to be aware of, misleading on the website, there is no parking on site and no laundry machines on site. There is parking down the street and laundry services.
- Joanne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gilles (10/5): J’y retournerai avec plaisir - Personnel aux petits soins et aux conseils avisés.
Séjour en famille parfait
- Anand (8/5): - The property is not a staffed hotel. I would say it's more a B&B. Just about 8 rooms/units. Georgia is awesome. She took care of us well. Rooms and facility is clean and well maintained. The only drawbacks are no onsite parking and front desk. A great option to park near the beach, especially if you are with young kids.
- Markus (10/5): - Great location. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Google maps shows that you have to enter the hotel from a side street around the corner, but that's wrong. The entrance is the straight from the main street which is very convenient.
A good restaurant just opposite the hotel.
Even though Mitos Suites is by the main street the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. We couldn't hear any noise from the street or other rooms.
The rooms were really spacious for our family of five. They were super clean and the beds were the best we have seen anywhere in Greece. Top quality matresses and pillows.
Pool was nice and since there are only 8 suites in the hotel, the pool area was always peaceful.
The staff was really friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety.
We only regret that we didn't stay longer here.
- leecE1157PT (10/5): Loved It! - Just returned from our family holiday to Naxos. We have never been there before but we were blown away by the history, culture, and the friendly local people.
The whole team at the Mitos were nothing more than urber helpful, friendly, curtious, and professional. I have to say a special thank you to Michael and Antony who just looked after our every need. We will definitely go back without a moment's hesitation.
- Maria (10/5): The ideal property for your family vacations - Everything was absolutely perfect !
- Kelsey (10/5): Highly recommend. - Service was fantastic. Staff were friendly. Resort clean. Location was a short walk to beautiful beach. Hotel is just outside the busy area.
- Dora (10/5): Excellent Family of 5 Stay! - Small boutique hotel, walking distance too main area of town. Daily breakfast was made on site, it varied daily and my kids ages 5, 8 & 10 never complained about it. The ladies who did breakfast were also the housekeepers. Every day our room was left immaculate. Kids loved the pool and having the bus stop out the front and a tavern across the road were very handy! I don’t understand why there is a need for a jacuzzi. It’s weather is hot outside. The jacuzzi water is hot. It’s not enjoyable sitting in hot water when it’s 35c outside. Not our thing and without it the balcony could have a better use.
- Eugenie (10/5): - Not fancy but does the job. Staff excellent. Location close proximity to beach and town.
No on-site parking so could be a challenge if you have a lot of luggage.
- Emma (8/5): - Lovely family suite with great area by the pool and amazing breakfast
- Benjamin (10/5): - Great, friendly staff! Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Nice amenities and services throughout the day. Very close walk to a beautiful beach!
- Justin (7/5): Good -
- 745anniem (10/5): Perfect! - Small place, well located, just a few minutes walk from the beach. We had great service, the pool is nice. We have rented a convertible Fiat and have drove around to discover the island. Karmen at the front desk has been fantastic, recommending us places to eat (like Giannoulos), other beaches and towns to discover (we loved Filoti, Apeiranthos and Mousoula). You can stay in the area and do everything by foot or take a taxi to go to Chora, eat at Avaton, the castle restaurant where the view is breathtaking. Naxos now feels like home. Thank you Karmen and the rest of Mitos staff for your warm welcome and great hospitality! We're telling all of our friends to come!
- Anonymous (10/5): we loved it! we highly recommend this hotel! - everything! great facilities, great location, great stuff and breakfast. clean! nothing
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- stavr0s2015 (10/5): Exceptional hotel - We have stayed at this hotel 6 times since 2014. We love Naxos and Mitos Suites is one of the reasons. An exceptional hotel nearby Agios Prokopis, one of the best beaches in Greece. The suites are very spacious (for families with 2 kids) well decorated and clean. The charming pool and the excellent breakfast (can be served in the room) complement the luxury stay. More importantly, the hosts make the overall experience amazing. Michalis and his team are great professionals. They always pay attention to our needs and they add a personal charm to our stay, being ready to make it even more comfortable. Definitely recommended!
Μιχάλη σε ευχαριστούμε για όλα τα υπέροχα καλακαίρια που έχουμε περάσει στο Mitos Suites, στον αγαπημένο μας Άγιο Προκόπη!
- Marita9999 (10/5): Great location and value for money - We booked this on a whim whilst on holiday in Piskopiano. The hotel is in the heart of the old town and when we arrived we felt like country bumpkins arriving in the big city.
The suites are right in the heart of the old town. Step outside the back door onto the beach road.
Fabulous location, amazing value for money, great hospitality. Definitely recommend
- adriennetanzi (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel with service excellence! - We only stayed here one night as we were in transit to another island; it is a wonderful small boutique hotel run by a lovely family. Kiki personally made us a wonderful breakfast served poolside and her daughter is such a gracious, lovely person, helping us with recommendations and all that we needed during our stay. The rooms are well maintained and spacious, clean and fresh; all amenities were available and they even brought a welcome gift/drinks. Our suite had a jacuzzi on the balcony. The pool is immaculate and the setting is so relaxing. The owners are simply charming, kind, and gracious. I highly recommend a stay here and we will stay again for a longer time when we return! Thank you, Mitos Suites, it was a pleasure to stay with you.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel familiar muy acogedor, el personal muy amable y atento. Desayuno riquísimo. Todo estupendo.
- 151hazelc (10/5): Beautiful setting, charming and welcoming hosts, fabulous location. - As a family of 5 we enjoyed a wonderful week at the Mitos Suites. The location is great... a less than ten minute ride from the airport, 10/15 minutes on the bus to the main town and a few minutes short walk to the beaches of Agios Prokopios. Kiki, Michalis, Antonis and their team run the place with professional but personal charm. The rooms are kept beautifully, clean and fresh and the abundant breakfasts are delicious - serving a daily variety of pastries, eggs, cold cuts, fruits etc. The pool is cleaned daily, and they couldn't have been more helpful with advice and suggestions on day trips, places to eat etc. We had a spacious suite with jacuzzi on the balcony. With 3 children (2 teens) we might have been better with two suites, as there was only one bathroom ( however this was huge - and very well equipped, it even had a spa bath!) but this didn't detract from our visit. Overall, a lovely place with charming owners and staff and very well placed on the island. Would not hesitate to recommend.
- Laura (10/5): - Our stay at Mitos hotel was amazing. The staff were very attentive and Kiki made sure we had everything we needed. We were thoroughly spoilt at breakfast each morning with a variety of homemade delights and our children were very happy with the little surprises during the stay. The room perfect- we are a family of 5 and we had more than enough space and a hot tub on the balcony which was a real treat. I could not fault this hotel in the slightest and we were very sad to leave. A real gem!
- AlysiaSim (8/5): Lovely - The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the beach and some restaurants and shops. All of the staff at Mitos we’re absolutely wonderful. They were all very friendly, attentive, and helpful. We were allowed to check in early because our ferry got in earlier than check in time, and we were greeted with a traditional Naxos island citrus liqueur (Kitron), giving us a small local taste from the island. The breakfasts each morning were delicious, offering a variety of traditional Greek options.
The bed was a little hard and uncomfortable but everything else was great.
- gobz2018 (10/5): Nice stay - Excellent location - 5 minutes walk from restaurants and a very nice beach.
Very clean and spacious room. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi with hot water! Rare in Greece and appreciated in late September!
Excellent services as well.
Highly recommended!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff excellent children’s pool for my grandchildren.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful quiet room over looking the pool
The breakfast was amazing and good coffee and friendly staff
- adambenmo (10/5): Perfect stay in Naxos - We stayed at Mitos for a couple night in Naxos with our 3 year old. The hotel is small but beautiful. Each room is spacious with multiple balconies including in room bathtub with jets and a jacuzzi on the balcony. The best part of our stay was the staff. They have few staff but incredibly dedicated, friendly and knowledgeable. Tony is a star and was so great to us the entire time and especially our son.
They have a shallow kids pool as well which was great for the little one.
It’s a short 5 minute walk into town and another 3 minutes to the beach. Also some of the best restaurants we are at in Naxos were in this area.
Another plus is the hotel breakfast. Lots of food, and amazing service.
This place is a gem!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We liked its location and the size of our suite. The spa on the balcony facing the ocean was wonderful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close to the beach and many restaurants and cafes/ market. Suite easily sleeps 4. Jacuzzi clean. Room clean. Staff work their tails off and are very attentive. Staff very helpful with suggestions for your stay and helping you figure out how to get around or arrange transportation. Good breakfast. Family friendly I’d stay again
- JJHBK (10/5): Fantastic Hotel! - We were at Mitos for a week and found it one of the most relaxing stays ever. The hospitality from Antonis and Michael was absolutely amazing and any requests were catered for however large or small. We stayed in a family suite which had the added bonus of an outdoor jacuzzi on the balcony. We stayed in Mythos which was also a corner room, Having only 8 rooms in the hotel meant that the pool was never crowded and they had plenty of inflatables for the kids (and adults!) to use. The lobster was a big hit! Being away from the town was actually quite nice and only 5-10 minutes walk. It is along a main road but adds to the charm of the area in an odd sort of way. Kids want to come back next year!
- MarkusO93 (10/5): Perfect Location for relaxed Holidays - Everything was perfect. Nice, helpful staff. Close to the beach and many nice restaurants. The hotel offered us free welcome and farewell surprises. First minibar filling was also for free. Overall a really nice experience!
- Foxy12345678 (10/5): Absolutely Brilliant - We stayed at the Mitos suites for a week. I never write hotel reviews but I have to say this hotel is absolutely amazing. The whole team can not do enough for you. I myself have a Gluten allergy and my son has a nut allergy, this did not phase the hotel at all. Breakfast was definitely plentiful with a different choice each day. Michael and Anthony are complete super stars 🌟
Our room was cleaned each day with fresh towels and bath robes which were a nice touch.
The pool facilities are great with a lovely pool and enough sun beds for the 8 rooms.
Thank you for a brilliant week.
- marksmith3000 (10/5): Peaceful stay at a lovely hotel - By being just outside the centre of Agios Prokopios, and having a relatively small number of rooms, Mitos Suites makes for a quiet and relaxing stay.
The service is excellent with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is huge and of a high standard with variations each day. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. We paid a similar amount for another small hotel with family suite, pool and breakfast on Santorini a week later and Mitos Suites was better on all counts.
- TrekkerJunkie (10/5): Fantastic family hotel with incredible staff and service. - We had an amazing stay at Mitos suites in Naxos.
Location: 10 min taxi ride to main town, shopping, restaurants, Apollo porta, old castle etc. 10 mins walk from the hotel to the beach with plenty of shopping, restaurants, mini mart etc. 3 amazing beaches the largest with most facilities is the closest. You can walk left from the Main Street and run into 2 additional beaches. Beaches are clean and you can easily rent lounge chairs and umbrella. We paid €14 for 2 chairs and umbrella in the front row.
Hotel: had a nice pool, very comfortable rooms. We family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) were very comfortable. The hot tub in the rear large balcony was very nice. Late breakfast till 11:30 in the restaurant below or delivered to your room is a nice touch. The highlight is the staff. Amazing service. Antonis was just amazing. They arranged taxis pick ups, provide great advice on restaurants, accommodated all our requests happily and in some cases without asking for it.
The pool is nice and the kids enjoyed it throughly.
At our departure the owner personally came to meet us and see us off.
I liked that we were not in the main town and closer to the beaches. The main is pretty empty during the day as most people are out at beaches or excursions. Taxi ride to town was between €10-12.
I would not hesitate coming back here.
Best of luck.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly staff and excellent service. Nice pool area.
- Kathrine (10/5): Lovely hotel!!! - Beautiful hotel with great location and super staff. Child friendly - great breakfast - clean - super service all day and night - would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.
- Monica (10/5): Fantastisk hotell for hele familien - Fantastisk hotell med utrolig bra service, kort avstand til strand og 10 min taxi inn til naxos by. Anbefales på det varmeste og kommer garantert til å reise tilbake
- Alina (10/5): Good place to stay, 10 min to the beach. - This was a very nice hotel for our family of 4. The suite was spacious and very clean. My sons had a lot of fun in the jacuzzi on the balcony which was a hit! They have a small kiddie pool that my 4 yo enjoyed and a larger pool that was a lot of fun for my 10 yo son. It is a short walk (10-15 min) to the beach, and many restaurants are close by. There is a good supermarket on the way to the beach, maybe 5 min away, where we found milk, snacks, fruits, and actually got gifts for home too. Next to the supermarket there is a laundromat (which we did not use, but should come in handy if you want to travel with fewer bags). The staff is very friendly, helped calling cabs for us, planning a day trip to Delos/Mikonos which was a lot of fun. The beach is quite nice, with very clean water and not so deep. We had a couple of dinners to go on the beach admiring the sunset. It is 10-15 min with the cab from the port, which costed on average 15 euros.
Very pleasant stay!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I was pleasantly surprised with Mitos Suites - although quaint it was comfortable. It was close to the local grocery market, restaurants and the beach. It had a very nice pool that was serviced nightly. And the staff was very accommodating and friendly.
The only minor negative input I could share was breakfast. It was provided daily - which is wonderful; however the options/variety was lacking. They served different types of bread and pastries with minor variations each morning. More variety would've been appreciated.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - View from terrace wasn’t good. Staff were very helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is well designed, the pool is excellent and the rooms large and well laid out with every amenity (we even discovered a scale in the closet!), close to the. beach and the local tavernas were remarkable.
- jc (10/5): Great location and staff - Suite style hotel with attentive and friendly staff, just a short walk from a lovely veach
- HKC (10/5): Amazing Hotel - I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The reviews you read are 100% accurate. From the fantastic room, to the amazing staff, every single thing about our 8 night stay at Mitos was outstanding. The daily breakfast was great with more than enough options to choose from and the staff went above and beyond to ensure me and my family had a pleasant stay. The location is great, just a 5 min walk to the best beach in Naxos and about a 14min drive to the Chora. You have several dining options at your doorstep and if you need anything at all you can always count on the great hotel staff to help you out. We loved our stay at Mitos and we will return during our next vacation in Naxos.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely staff - This hotel is well kept, more importantly during my 20 day tour of the isles , the staff ranks #1
- Steven (10/5): Excellent stay! - Staff is very helpful and the place is very clean. The breakfast is also excelllent. The location is a five minute walk from a nice beach. Probably the only negative point is the slightly too loud music in the garden and swinning pool area. This place is highly recommended for families with small kids although my teenage children also very much enjoyed staying at Mitos suites. Staff is very helpful and the place is very clean. - Jørgen (10/5): Fantastisk atmosfære i familievenligt hotel - Fantastisk venlig atmosfære i strålende omgivelser. Vi vil til enhver tid anbefale dette børnevenlige sted med masser af muligheder for voksne og børn. Personalet er noget af de mest gæstfrie vi nogensinde har oplevet - desuden var lokalområdet fuld af gode strande og restauranter.
- Maria (10/5): - Mitos suites was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to make our stay as great as it can be.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay - Perfect hotel for a family.
Very clean rooms and bathrooms (a must)
Great location, near beaches and restaurants
Staff was unbelievably nice and very helpful
And the price was very very reasonable
- brenna (10/5): Gem of a hotel just steps away from the beach. - Our stay was amazing! The grounds at Mitos Suites are simple and beautiful. One can see the beach from the breakfast area and the suite balcony. The staff at the hotel are especially helpful and willing to go out of their way to make sure guests are happy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Comfortable hotel w/in walking distance to beach - Staff was very helpful - especially Stella! Room is dated but comfortable.
Shower was dirty upon arrival as was private hot tub which we as a result were unable to use - disappointing.
Bfast was great and plentiful, hotel located in walking distance to many restaurants, beaches, and supermarket.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Maybe the best hotel I have stayed in. The staff was excellent and the rooms fantastic. Would go again for sure.
- kris (10/5): Exceptional Property - Staff is 5 star, kind and friendly. Rooms are large, clean, and perfect for families. Close proximity to beaches and town. You can't go wrong with this property.
- Alex (10/5): Higher end suite hotel - excellent amenities/staff - We stayed here for just one night and wished we had stayed longer. We were stranded by a ferry change and booked a junior suite for our family of 5 (kids ages 10, 12, 14). Despite booking last minute and arriving with short notice, the staff (Stella in particular) bent over backwards to help us. The room suited us perfectly, with great A/C, beds etc. The included breakfast was of high quality with the added perk of a view overlooking the Mediterranean. They even gave us a departing gift! The pools entertained our kids for hours. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We would come back here again - looking forward to it! The hotel is a little further out than some of the other (mostly older) hotels but for us the higher end facilities were worth the extra 2-3 minute walk to the beachfront.
- Cyril (10/5): I was speechless - I could tell you that the hotel is walking distance from the best beach I have ever been to or that the deluxe suite has 2 Jacuzzis (inside or outside). But I prefer telling you this.
My wife and I were having dinner in Chora, 15kms from the hotel. The owner of Mitos Suites drove in front the restaurant and saw us. He then called the restaurant and paid for our meal. When we asked for the bill, the waiter told us that it was already sorted. I couldn't believe it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Relaxing short break - Lovely room with hot tub and jacuzzi bath. Beautifully decorated and full of nice furnishings. The team at the hotel were very helpful throughout our stay. Small bar on site, but other than friendly bar man, we were the only people sat there. Good drinks and snack selection at the hotel and plenty more options at the beach front (5-7 min walk away).
- En Tzu (10/5): Excellent Stay - The hotel overall is in a very clean and proper condition. I stayed in a family suite and it was spacious. The best thing was a new and clean bathroom. My only complaint would be the pictures looked a little nicer than what it really felt to me, but the difference is not big. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome. Every day you would get two kinds of homemade Greek pies, on top of the usual eggs, Greek yogurt, fruits, bread, cheese, ham, juice and tea/coffee. Very tasty!
Hotellet anbefales.
- Mike (8/5): Great Room - Lovely room and very clean (apart from the mirrors which were smeary) super balcony with hot tub. Unusual approach to the hotel as you approach through the garden of a neighbouring hotel which share the facilities of the garden. The Owner was efficient and welcoming and all the staff very friendly and helpful.
