• catherine (9/5): - Accueil , petit déjeuner varié, décor soigné ,tableaux en faïence dans les couloirs , proximité avec le centre . passer dans la rue où vivent les locaux . Partant très tôt le lendemain matin, on nous a préparé des sandwichs avec boisson et fruits frais pour emporter Ce n'est pas que je n'ai pas apprécié, mais c'est plutôt pour informer des clients : l'emplacement : Cela pourrait impressionner un peu des personnes qui veulent se sentir "en sécurité "car on côtoie les locaux ,le soir c'est faiblement éclairé . Ceci dit, il n'y a eu aucun souci

• Darius (8/5): Quirky comfy hotel. - Friendly, helpful staff. Nice decor, and a really great breakfast. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean. Like all small, family run hotels, this place definitely has a few quirks. My biggest issue was the large number of cats that congregate on the doorstep of the hotel, making it hard to get in without A stepping on one (I did by accident), and B not letting any into the lobby. There were literally 6-8 cats there most of the time. The other issue, which is clearly related, is that the lobby and upstairs common areas of the hotel smelled quite strongly of male cat pee. The unheated pool is nice if rather cold, and overly chlorine smelling. If you want a safe fir passports etc, and tea making facilities in your room, you can request them. They don't come as standard. Bathroom is tiny but functional. Terrible hair dryer. Sound proofing is not great.

The place is impeccably clean and well-appointed, quiet, and as mentioned in other comments, the breakfast is a delicious feast. Although it is in an unusual part of town, that was irrelevant for us. We had a rental car and did not feel unsafe parking it.

• Evandro Mathias (10/5): Se eu voltar para Selçuk, ficarei aqui novamente. - Tudo! Kkkk Melhor café da manhã de todos hotéis que ficamos na Turquia. Funcionários extremamente preocupados com nosso bem estar. Limpeza dos quartos excepcional, eu nunca tinha visto algo igual, nem no Brasil. Área externa, perto da piscina, onde pudemos ficar tomando vinho e conversando. Quando chegava algum fumante por perto, os funcionários pediam para o fumante sentar mais afastado da gente, pois não éramos fumantes. E isso é algo muito legal e importante, pois na Turquia pode-se fumar em qualquer lugar, inclusive ambientes fechados. O hotel também fica muito bem localizado e silencioso. Fomos a pé para Ephesus (aprox 3 km). O Centro (com lojas e restaurantes) fica a cerca de 3 ou 4 quadras, muito fácil para ir almoçar ou jantar. O museu e as ruínas da Basílica de São João também são possíveis de se fazer a pé (cerca de 1 km). A rua onde o hotel fica parece estranha, mas a cidade é bastante segura, e fica muito próximo do centro. Voltávamos depois de escurecer e sempre foi tranquilo.

• Vincent (9/5): Sanctuary in Selcuk - Great location with free parking out the front. Cool, unheated pool and awesome breakfast. Rooms were very quiet and comfortable and staff were very friendly. We'd definitely stay here again!

The breakfast is very good and the staff are friendly and very helpful. They arranged a tour to the archeological sites that was fantastic. We paid 100 euros for the tour and it was worth every penny.

Close to Ephesus and cafe's and eateries in a quiet backstreet. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful swimming pool !!

• michellemT8477IW (8/5): A really lovely hotel with a great breakfast in a good location. - The hotel is in a good location & is a lovely hotel, unfortunately it was just a bit too cold to use the gorgeous pool! It's a short walk from the train station, when coming out of the station turn right on the main road, walk to the street opposite Domino's Pizza shop, the hotel is located 2 streets up just a couple of houses in on the right hand side. The rooms are delightful, spacious & clean. On the ground floor is the room where the scrumptious breakfast is laid out by the reception area. Would love to one day return to the property. The only downside was the reception staff were not really helpful but I found this the case with many hotels in Turkey & Greece.

Oltre a tutto questo colazione fantastica. Moltissima scelta sia dolce che salata (dolci buonissimi!) La migliore colazione che ho trovato in 15 giorni di viaggio on the road per la Turchia! Bravi! Niente, tutto perfetto!
• Davey (9/5): - This quiet hotel is beautifully decorated in Turkish style. The pool is very pleasant to swim in after a long day sightseeing and the breakfast buffet is stunning and delicious. It's an oasis in an otherwise crumbling and dusty part of town, but that made it feel like a hidden gem. WiFi quite sluggish though, but that might have just been my room.

Just back from the Main Street on a nice quiet street. Easy walking distance to everything. Lovely breakfast. Couldn’t fault it.

• Michael (10/5): Great Central Location! - Saint John's Hotel was a great place to stay, VERY close to all of the historic sites such as Ephesis, Temple of Artemis, House of Virgin Mary, and more. Staying here saved a lot of time traveling in the morning and evening. The pool was also very refreshing after touring all day. Additionally, I worked with the hotel staff to setup a personal tour guide at a great price. While not a luxury hotel, Saint Johns is a very nice, clean hotel in a great central location.

Réceptionniste de soir très avenant, tellement gentil. Décor fabuleux, extrêmement propre et salles de bain renovee. Impeccable. En 3 semaines en Turquie, cet hôtel a été notre préféré. Dommage que la piscine ferme à 20h.

• Kathryn (10/5): - A great little hotel. We stayed here two nights to visit Ephesus. Actually found the St John’s Basilica better (and less crowded with influencers!). Hotel itself is off the main strip in a residential area so it feels like you’re in the real country rather than tourist-ville. Lovely little pool. Spend an afternoon reading in the courtyard, pure bliss. Good breakfast. Easy walk from the station. Perfect for non-tour trips to Ephesus and other historical places in the area.

• Ronaldo (10/5): - Excellent choice if you are looking for tranquility and piece, wonderful courtyard and rooms. Breakfast was fantastic and plenty of choices. Staff is very knowledgeable of the area and very helpful as well. Super close to St. John’s and the Castle, short drive to Meryemana, Artemis and Ephesus. We did a day trip to Miletus under 1 hr. Drive each way. We would highly recommend this hotel. Don’t let what’s around bother you it is safe and friendly.

La camera luminosa e comoda, non grande ma ben distribuita. Eccellente colazione tradizionale turca con scelta anche per chi ama le colazioni continentali standard, anche se, vista la qualità della scelta salata e dolce delle specialità locali, sarebbe un peccato privarsene. Efeso è una meraviglia paragonabile senza dubbio alle migliori aree archeologiche italiane. Il mare a 15 minuti di macchina. A fine maggio inizio giugno, spiagge libere, pulite ben tenute con ombrelloni a disposizione gratuitamente e semi deserte.
• rrfaff (10/5): Family owned and run boutique hotel - We loved our 2 night stay here it was like an oasis. Great location for Ephesus tour- after a full day tour we had plenty of time for a swim in pool before going out for dinner (plenty of choices 10 min stroll away). On 2nd night we took a minibus to Sirince which I highly recommend, the cutest little town. Hotel advised us how to get local mini bus and to try the wine in Sirince. Breakfast was divine, all home made, you can smell the baking in the early morning. Love that it’s a family run hotel.

Le petit déjeuner est très bien. La quartier dans lequel se trouve l'hôtel, dénote un peu par rapport à la qualité de l'hôtel. Mais ce n'est pas dérangeant et on ne se sent pas du tout en insécurité... A part ça il n'y a vraiment rien à dire.

• mattmT5264JI (10/5): Highly recommended - The hotel is tucked away in a backstreet, there was street parking directly outside and staff came out to assist. The hotel is beautiful, it has a little courtyard area with seating and a swimming pool. There's lots of lovely traditional Turkish furniture and lighting in the communal areas. The room was a good size with a small balcony looking over the pool and the shower was very good. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful especially the cheese and spinach pastries. Lots of fresh fruit, cheeses etc.. The restaurant was closed for renovation, however there is a small bar beside reception and there are lots of restaurants 5 mins walk away. It's less than 10 minutes drive from Ephesus . The staff were very friendly and chatty, Highly recommended.

La cour avec la piscine était magnifique Les pièces communes ont beaucoup de cachet, il serait super qu'il en soit de même pour les chambres et cela serait parfait
