• Jürgen (10/5): Ein idealer Ort für den Weinliebhaber und Gourmet ! - Das Farmhaus war Selfcatering. Küche, sowie Einrichtung waren sehr hochwertig und komplett ausgestattet, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Leider waren wir nur für zwei Nächte da. Die Lage mitten in den Weinfeldern war traumhaft. Das Farmhaus lag auf dem Gelände der Mission Winery, die älteste Winery Neuseelands mit einem vorzüglichen Restaurant und Weinkeller. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

• Lois (9/5): We loved our stay at the Mission Estate Farmhouse! - The location is exactly what we wanted - the “farmhouse” on the vineyard of Mission Estate Winery: a few tractors and activity in the farmyard but the view through the vineyards was worth it! Brent (the property caretaker) was very friendly. 5-10 minute drive to town. Enjoyed a welcome bottle of bubbly, coffee pods and milk for our morning on the deck, admiring the surroundings. Mattresses were uncomfortable/hard. Cheapy hair dryer. This is a rental - no cooking basics ( but the milk and coffee pods were appreciated.) Such a unique and lovely property - the decor is disappointing…would take very little money/effort to make it more of a vineyard/farm theme… some historic prints and cozy blankets. Sofa needs steam-cleaning…

• Natalie (10/5): Vineyard views, location on point, comfortable stay - Complimentary gift of champagne on arrival was very much appreciated! The Farmhouse felt very private tucked away in the vineyard and the location and vineyard views were exceptional. Loved the privacy from each bedroom with balconies from the two master suites (en-suite). A large entertainment deck with the bbq and spa pool (which was heating when we arrived!). The house was very clean and comfortable. It’s hard to have a negative about the property but if I was to suggest any improvements for a more enjoyable stay it would be to upgrade the curtains to include shear blind so you could still have exterior light with privacy. We loved the stocked up tea and coffee supplies but couldn’t find salt and pepper which would have been good to have available.

• Kirsty (10/5): Bliss! - We stayed at the Farmhouse for my husband's 50th birthday. The Farmhouse has ample room for a family of 4 plus grandad. The location and Outlook is peaceful beautiful and still connected to town. Being able to pop up to the mission estate restaurant with its amazing Outlook and menu was a treat. Would definitely recommend and return.
• Jacques (8/5): Nice accommodation, but a couple of things require tweaking to get your monies worth - Space, nature, spa, location Cupboard space for folded items, water pressure, no hot water running in bathroom basins, kitchen pots were not clean and plastic glasses were worn out and a smell.

Great air conditioning / heating available in all rooms, very comfortable. Also well equipped kitchen, and really convenient with laundry and dryer. Just some minor maintenance touchups needed (e.g. lightbulb in living room needs to be fixed) and needs a new kettle. More counter space in bathroom would be nice.

• YIM (10/5): - Surprised to find out there are three ensuite (3 washroom + 1 disable washroom) in the house. Originally the website stated only have 2 washroom. The environment was nice, facing the wine yards. It has a jacuzzi and bbq area which was nice to try. Overall the house was good for our families. And we tried the fine dining in the restaurant also - service & food was good. If there are more clothes hangers and hook for clothes - that will be great.

• Mark (10/5): Perfect accomodation in a dream location. - Waking up to a peaceful view over what seemed like our own vineyard was amazing. The whole house, kept to hotel standards, was perfect for a weekend away. Just far enough away from Napier City Centre but pretty much perfectly in the middle of all the vineyards we wanted to visit and the things we wanted to do. Staff were excellent.
• Margaret (9/5): A quiet peaceful retreat close to the city - We have stayed here before and love this spot. It is quiet and peaceful (mostly) and gives room to spread out when you are staying away from home for a few days. It is easy to self cater and not have to eat out for every meal. There were a couple of cleanliness and maintenance issues that needed addressing, which we advised the reception of when we left.

• Cian (9/5): A trip to the Farmhouse - Location was great and the full sized room each with ensuite. The spa was amazing and very spacious all around the house. The kitchen facilities were a bit left to be desired but bearable. The other thing was that the bathrooms had no where to place any toiletries (toothbrush, hair products etc). This made it a bit annoying when trying to get ready.

The dining and lounge areas were great for our group as was the outdoor area and spa. We dined twice at The Mission restaurant....once for lunch and then for dinner. Stunning meals and service! We've already booked again as this place would be hard to beat! The only criticism is lack of a vanity in the bathrooms as there's nowhere to put one's toiletries.

I would recommend the Farmhouse for anyone staying in the area. The Mission Estate restaurant and cellar door were excellent

• Verified traveler (2/5): - Booked this 3-night stay 16 months in advance, turned up on the day and apparently the farmhouse was being used in its entirety by the promoter of the concerts that were to take place in the summer. Despite having confirmation from Expedia, Mission Estate didn't take responsibility. They claimed they had no knowledge of the booking; however other accommodation that we booked via Expedia had no issues. They explained that they had cancelled another booking for days after our stay; why they didn't just block it out so it wasn't possible to book is beyond me! They did however offer us a complimentary bottle of their sparkling wine (which we would've received had we stayed), and paid the difference on our alternative accommodation. We spoke with 3 people at Mission Estate, and not one took responsibility for this or seemed overly considered that there was a problem. It took c.2 hours to resolve, and they did offer us a complimentary snack & a coffee while we waited.

• Frances (10/5): Lovely, quiet farmhouse - The farmhouse is spacious (it turned out that we were the only guests during our two-night stay), sunny, quiet, clean, comfortable, well appointed. It’s set in the middle of the vineyard, with great views. The Mission Estate restaurant is excellent, but if you want to spend less, there are good restaurants in Taradale, only minutes away. We’d love to stay there again.

• Britt (10/5): Didn’t want to leave.... - This place was perfect. The Farmhouse was a great base for exploring Napier and the surrounding wine region although I never actually wanted to leave the farm house. It’s so quaint and has all that you need for a short or long stay. I had my morning coffee in my patio overlooking the vineyard, brought back wine and cheese for snacks at the end of the day watching the sunset over the valley, and sat next to the fireplace as the night got cool. Stay here. You won’t regret it!

Lätt att gå till vingårdens huvudbyggnad, där både vinprovning och restaurang finns. Restaurangen serverar mat av hög kvalitet och har en gedigen vinlista.
• Anne (10/5): relaxing in the vines - We loved our stay here at the winery. The cottage was spacious and well equipped. The hot spa outside was large and comfy and the best one we came across in our trip around the North Island. There was a washing machine and dryer which was useful for halfway through our trip! There were three separate deck areas to choose from, to sit and enjoy the views of the vines. But the best bit was the meal at the restaurant which we awarded our favorite meal of our holiday.

• Megan (10/5): - Staying at the farmhouse was a highlight of our trip. It was lovely and the kids loved being right in the middle of the vineyards. The owners were especially helpful when we couldn't get the bbq started. They arrived in 5 minutes and sorted it all out. We loved it.
• juliet (8/5): Pleasant farm house in the vineyards - Our one night stay at the farmhouse was pleasant. It was raining so we lit the gas fire and spent the rainy afternoon reading among the vineyards which was lovely. Although the house was well fitted out with full kitchen etc, there was a slight feeling of stinginess- I always feel a little disappointed when doors are locked to other bedrooms, and there is no loo paper or towels in a second bathroom, no books about to read, no sign of homeliness. It’s a tiny thing but just didn't feel generous. Dinner at Mission Estate restaurant was pleasant but not memorable. The dark red walls and corner table felt a bit stuffy and didn’t enhance the food experience. The bar seemed to be more open and have a livelier vibe.

Was expecting a room off the kitchen but had the whole house (except the 2 spare bedrooms) had a lovely catch up entertaining friends I haven't seen in over 20 years and able to use balcony in the arvo and fireplace at night... BLOODY BRILLANT Only downside is no electric blanket nut when you have a partner that helps..
