Guest Reviews
- Natasha (10/5): Beyond amazing property. Would highly recommend & would absolutely stay again. - Absolutely everything. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable & extremely well fitted out - there was nothing we needed. We were a group of 10 adults and we were more than comfortable. Melissa was the most amazing host before & during our stay. There is nothing I could fault at all.
- Naomi (10/5): One of the nicest properties we stayed in on our road trip. - A beautiful property to stay in. Extremely well located. A comfortable house with comfortable beds. Lovely outlook on gardens and vineyards.
- Shannon (10/5): Perfect location for two families to enjoy a peaceful stay in the beautiful Barossa! - The property was absolutely perfect for our family trip to the Barossa. We were two family groups sharing the premises and it was perfect! Loved the outdoor area and pizza oven and the location was excellent! NOthing! It was superb!
- Sachi (9/5): Excellent! - Beautiful property! Fantastic location and the host was so helpful and quick to respond! A house manual would have been helpful - but the host was very easy to contact so it was ok.
- Del (9/5): Spectacular views, beautiful accommodation - Stunning gardens, pizza oven, fire pit, location, spa
- Tomas (10/5): - Great property, awesome host, very clean and stock with all needs for our stay.
- Tao (9/5): - 住宿安静,购物用餐以及周边酒庄都很方便
- Robyn (9/5): Great facilities for an all age family stay. - The number of bedrooms and bathrooms suited our family. The hot tub was particularly popular! Close to Tanunda and central location for wineries. Nothing not to like.
- kathryn (10/5): Would highly recommend this property for larger groups. - Beautiful home set in amazing setting amongst the vines. Well appointed pantry & kitchen facilities. Neat clean and very comfortable beds.
- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful, spacious, clean and warm home to enjoy the lovely Barossa! - The property location was fantastic for a group tour around the Barossa vineyards. It was very spacious and clean with lovely amenities. The indoor fire, outdoor fire pit and pizza oven were all fantastic and made a winter stay very cosy and enjoyable. Loved it! N/A
- Amy (10/5): -
- Dana (10/5): A luxurious reatreat to chill, kick back and access great wineries. - Loved the layout both inside and outside- king beds were awesome- very peaceful - loved the spa. Thankyou In most bedrooms there was nowhere to hang nice clothes so maybe a hook rack on the wall or behind the door- with some coat hangers as well.
- Michele (10/5): - Everything was great No internet / wifi or use of speaker for music but the staff did try to help
- Renee (10/5): It was fun and I would come back again. - Great location. Beautiful grounds. For our group of 7 comfortably. Host was awesome.
- Pek Mei (8/5): A lovely stay in a gorgeous setting - A lovely house in a gorgeous setting, right next to a vineyard. All of us enjoyed our stay, and we loved the fireplace, which kept us nice and warm. It was very clean, and we appreciated the Aesop soaps and shampoos. Kitchen was one of the most well equipped I've experienced, with sufficient pots, pans, plates etc... All in all, a lovely stay!
- Jeremy (9/5): Ideal Barossa location with wonderful facilities - Great location and facilities (inc pizza oven, fire pit, spa pool). Really well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Friendly staff. Worked really well for us - 4 couples. Would be a bit trickier for 5 couples, as there is no way to access the 5th bedroom without walking through the main bedroom. So that end of the house could really only be used by a family.
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- Evelyn (9/5): -
- Myra (10/5): Relaxing place to stay with beautiful setting, near amenities. - Proximity to venues/wineries
Good for large group/friends/family/couples.
Friendly, hospitable, thoughtful hosts!
Outdoor area great for BBq/entertaining.
Fire pit, wood stove and pizza oven felt cozy in winter
The views 🤩 Nothing to complain about
- Sharlane (10/5): Beautiful, clean , awesome facilities and in an ideal location. Just perfect. - The Reserve is a fabulous property in an ideal location for the Barossa and Edin Hills wine region just walking distance from one of the best winer In the whole region Laughing Jacks.
The host Melissa was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The house was extremely well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. The home was warm and welcoming when we arrived. How much better can you get sitting in a hot spa and a cool winters afternoon drinking the complementary wine and looking at the vineyard while your pizza cooks in the pizza oven! We will be back. Thank you so much Mellissa. There was nothing you couldn’t like about this property and how it was presented.
- Charlotte (10/5): All round perfect property for exploring the Barossa - Excellent location, perfect property for a large group. Plenty of room and well supplied with little ‘extras’ . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Shower in one en-suite a bit feeble but everything else excellent!
- Fred (9/5): Melissa was responsive and easy to deal with. Great place to stay and would stay again. - No power point in one of the bathrooms which you would normally expect of a property like this.
- Belinda (10/5): Amazing retreat in the heart of the Barossa - It is such a beautiful property with very helpful and considerate hosts who've really done a great job of making the space inviting and providing just about everything you need for your stay. We really enjoyed the space, especially the little library and cooking in the pizza oven, as well as having a fire every night with the wood provided. Kids loved the games provided, both indoor and outdoor and the garden is just gorgeous in Autumn. Nothing
- Emika (10/5): Exceptional - The Reserve Barossa exceeded our expectations.
Host
- The host Melissa reached out to me personally to touch base and see if there was anything we needed to know prior to our stay. She even organised our transport to and from our dinner reservation as we were having issues with taxi availability. We used Barossa Taxis who were great. Melissa was available to answer any questions I had throughout our stay and was very hospitable and kind.
Location
- The house is in a great location and is only a 5 minute drive from nearby shops and restaurants. There is even a winery within walking distance. It was easy to locate on maps and there is a large sign at the front of the house so you can't miss it.
Exterior
- As soon as we arrived we were surprised at how amazing the house was in person. The front yard, back yard and gardens are beautiful and well kept. The area is huge and great for outdoor activities. The outdoor area was rustic and had so much character especially with the chandeliers and vines throughout the roof which were gorgeous in May. The ability to have a fire and also use the woodfire pizza oven is really great. There was also ample supply of firewood. The outdoor spa was clean and a treat to have access to. The house has a front courtyard overlooking the front gardens which makes for a beautiful entertaining space.
Interior
- All of the bedrooms were comfortable. The beds were very comfortable with quality bedding and pillows comparable to a five star hotel. We had plenty of towels which were also good quality. The Aesop products in the bathrooms gave it a luxurious touch. The spaces in the house were very unique and made the experience all the more enjoyable.
Some key points
- Personalised wine glasses for different wine varieties and plenty of glasses so we never ran out.
- All of the equipment needed to make home made pizzas
- Cookware and utensils for just about any recipe
- Plenty of serving equipment and platter boards
Can't wait to come back. NA

- Walker (10/5): I'll be back! - This is a house to restore the soul, where the views and beautiful garden are a big part of that. The house is warm and feels like home, which is often unusual in large properties. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped. Some globes missing to lamps and overhead lighting.
