- Michaela (6/5): Would not choose to stay again - Very very old bathroom, room wasn’t clean . Voile curtains and track dirty and skirting boards had lots of dirt on them . Have been on the road for 2 weeks and this is the poorest accomodation we’ve had . On arrival at 2pm it took 3 phone calls before anyone would answer. No one was at reception. Finally got someone on the phone to provide a code for key access. Poor room design could not plug kettle in on the kitchen bench .

- Martin (8/5): not too bad. helpful staff at the office - The room was room was mostly clean tho between the fridge and wall wasnt so i cleaned that myself and the bed was very comfortable i liked the barbeque area room 3 and 4 i feel are too close together. im glad room 4 wasnt occupied during my stay as i have p.t.s.d and loud noises e.g doors nearby startle me and give me anxiety the front porch had lots of litter including an old bandaid... the bathroom bin hadnt been emptied from previous tenant/s the room had no coffee when i arrived the bathroom drains were grimy. might need cleaning vinegar and a scrub brush the room was cramped for example the chairs between the desk and the bed perhaps move the bed towards the cupboard the traffic outside room 3 and street traffic was quite noisy

- Aaron (3/5): i guess it would depend on the room , but was disappointed in the 2nd room and wouldn't recommend - On the 13-14th we stayed in room 5 on the way over to qld. This room was fantastic and was going to shout this motel to the world , and the reason we booked it on the way home on the 26th -27th . room 19 - bedding and towels clean air conditioner worked well room 19 - the room was very basic , which we expect for the price however it smelt disgusting, the carpet was highly stained, (would not walk in bare feet on the carpet ) door would not shut well with huge gap, all taps leaked in the bathroom and shower dripped. the single bed moved when you rolled over. We had a long 11 hour drive that day and even ate our take away out as couldnt stand the room smell. Wanted a credit card holding even though we didnt have to do this when we booked on the 13th- 14th Feb in another room. It felt like we were put i n the room for pets.

I rang the motel directly and spoke to two different ladies who could not have been more helpful. They sorted the booking, altered the pricing and called me after hours from home to confirm. Service like this is soooo rare and a delight. Thank you. 🙏

- Barry Johnston (5/5): Poor value for money - It had a separate bathroom The fact that I was asked to give my bank card details over the phone to someone I didn't know. There wasn't anyone in Reception and I had to travel across the road to a "Tourist Office", apparently they managed the check in for the Motel. No extra Toilet paper, had to get our own. Won't be staying there again, totally unprofessional operation.
- css1232014 (10/5): Overall comfort - Queen room with kitchen. The room and bathroom were clean, with everything you needed. Appreciated the full size fridge/freezer, and kitchen amenities, stove and microwave and all utensils. Bed was a little firm for my liking but that's a personal preference. Room was quiet apart from the galahs(could have been cockatoos, I know the difference but can't remember) in the trees laughing and chattering, loved the sound of nature. Reception isn't open, they are across the road at the tourist park, but just ring and there is a key drop on the wall, give number and it will pop open for you. Would stay in that room again.

I was asked to leave my number for a call back — 20 minutes later, still nothing. A staff member walked past and told me all check-in instructions were sent via email. I explained I hadn’t received anything and was still waiting for a call back. She said I had to wait, despite me standing right there asking for help. After multiple calls, I was told to wait again as they had a guest in front of them — even though the reception desk was completely empty. I eventually got the key, checked the room, and left immediately. Very tired room and absolutely no customer service. Extremely disappointing experience.

The bed was clean and comfortable, with both a double and a single bed in the room, which was handy. The shower was roomy and the water was nice and hot — always a win after a long drive. We really appreciated the ability to check in last minute and arrive late at night, which made a sudden change of plans much less stressful. The room had all the essentials needed for a quick overnight stay, and parking was free and close to the room, which was very convenient.
