The hotel's location was absolutely perfect, just a stone's throw away from the main Fira bus terminal and within walking distance to all the top attractions in Fira. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was also delicious and had a great selection. Overall, I'd highly recommend Hotel Anamnesis to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Fira!

They made the room up everyday with fresh towels and they went out of their way to please us. I would recommend the Anamnesis hotel to anyone visiting Santorini has everything you would need to do was within a few minutes walk to all the amenities.

- James (10/5): - Anamnesis was a fantastic hotel resort which had great views to the ocean. They had a great breakfast offering traditional Greek food ranging from cold food to cooked food, they also had a nice area with a swimming pool, the hotel was very close to the shops convenience stores and the bus station which ended up being our main form of transport where we could go anywhere on the island and return back to Fira and within a five minute walk you have the spectacular views of all the restaurants overlooking the sea, the staff were fantastic. Couldn’t do enough to help us and the overall location was perfect.
- Vincent (8/5): - The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for being walkable to the city center while still giving some reprieve from the business of Fira. The immediate area around the hotel is nothing glamorous but it is still safe and adequate for an affordable stay. There is a convenient parking lot at the end of the road that always had spots available (during the month of May) for parking your own car. If you want caldera views, you would have to book another location but that often comes at a much higher price. If you want an affordable clean, friendly, and walkable location this hotel should be a perfect match.
- scott (10/5): Anamnesis for Santorini Memories - We had an amazing stay with Anamnesis. We got a little unlucky with the weather one day, but Santorini never disappoints. Sophia and the staff were absolutely incredible. I felt like our personal happiness was the most important thing in their day, a personal touch that was very noteworthy. We stayed in "the Cave" which was unique in many ways, and very spacious. The rooms were very comfortable and had lots of amenities. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff had good variety including personally made goods. The location was great, just off the main section enough to be quiet, but close enough to be walkable to all the sights. Thank you Sophia and staff for a beautiful stay on this beautiful island!

- Susan (8/5): - The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Fira bus station and to the centre of Fira with shops and restaurant where you can easily find a place to see the sunset in Fira on the edge of the caldera. Shophia the receptionist gave us a great restaurant recommendation of the Pelican Kipos cafe and wine tasting - delicious food in a beautiful garden setting. The balcony of the room was tiny and not solely a pool view as you could also see the maintenance area, washing line, etc. A large sea view balcony for the sunrise was available, opposite the room. We stayed 1 night, breakfast was good but some of the bread and pastry item's were a bit stale.

The location is fantastic, a 10 minute walk to the bus station, which then enables you to travel to different parts of the island. There are different restaurants and activities all within walking distances. The hotel itself is clean, with fantastic staff and a nice continental breakfast. Our room had a jetted hot tub (warmed by the sun) and a lovely view out to the other side of the island. Each day it was made up to a high standard, with different pool/shower/hot tub towels being provided. I can’t wait to return. Thank you

Small hotel and pool but very clean and within easy walking distance of the town. Uphill to the caldera but worth it for the most wonderful views

- Madhusudan (8/5): Happy and convenient stay at Anamnesis City Spa Ho - Good communication throughout including by e-mail and telephone to clarify things when needed. Excellent location close to Fira Main Square and bus station, only a few minutes walk away as well as to the local shops and restaurants as well as the caldera. Good service by high all the reception and maintenance staff including recommendations for food, rentals and tours etc. Breakfast is good. Suggestions to make it even better: Wifi connectivity needs to be improved as almost non-existent in the room we were in. Perhaps have more recycling collection points as several plastic water bottles have to be discarded. Perhaps have a shower curtain to ensure water does not come out of the cubicle.

Lots of spa extras if you are in need of a massage etc. Local bus to anywhere on the Island is also just a short walk away.

However the superior room which we had was smaller than pictures showed, the road outside constantly has cars going past, our view was interrupted by a large unmanaged piece of land and we had 2 power cuts during our stay, after which our hot tub was no longer hot. Nice place and decent enough compared to a lot of hotels. But for the money we spent, I would not come to Santorini, much better places to spend your money and get more for it.

The room had an amazing view from the balcony and was quite comfortable. The property was conveniently located yet still quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and on our last day we had to leave for the airport before breakfast would be open so they arranged a takeaway box for us. This is one example of the amazing hospitality. We’ll stay here again!!

- Ana (10/5): Can’t recommend highly enough - Incredible room with private tub, room and bathroom were gorgeous. Well decorated and had everything you could need in them. Staff were incredible and attentive. Good location, close to bus station
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Pretty and small hotel in main location of Fira without the noise and foot traffic! Very nice and generous staff, super helpful and attentive. Yummy free breakfast, too. If I go back to Santorini I hope to stay there again.
- Mary (2/5): - We book a room described as a duplex. When we arrived the room is a loft with steep stairs to to loft level. We requested another room. We were informed that no other rooms were available. We are to be let out of our obligation as the stairs would be dangerous for us to go up and down. The management refused even with a phone call from Hotels.com. We had to get a room at a different hotel so the 3 nights . Costing us the price for 2 hotels. None of the rooms in the information for this hotel looked anything like this shabby looking room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Liked location.can be noisy with traffic on the road. Problem with noise from dogs barking but not hotels fault. The corners of the beds are a problem, you can easily hurt yourself walking round the beds as the bed frames extend more then the mattressses.this is not unique to this hotel only. Not child friendly enough where the family room our relatives had.too steep staircase and narrow. More of a make do family room . Don’t like the idea of leaving room keys when going out, if no one in attendance leaving keys on the reception desk isn’t good. Anyone can take the keys which have a safe key on them because there is not always someone there to receive them. Also when returning the reception was not always manned to get your keys back so you had to wait. You could not always ring the reception belll as this was removed from the counter. Look over the other side of the counter and ther weeper all the the room keys that were left that anyone could take.that means acsess to rooms and safes. I never left my room keys. These points are not complaints . But viable points to take into account. Would we stay here again. Most definitely. The breakfasts are better than advertised and the staff do everything to give you the best.

- Rose (10/5): Very nice stay at Anamnesis! - We stayed for 3 nights and it was pretty nice. Great safe location, 5 minute walk to the main square and the main Fira bus station (best & cheapest way to see different parts of the island). Our room was clean, the bed comfy and shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was yummy with eggs, OJ, coffee & tea, meats, fruits, croissants (custard ones were the best!), bread and cereals. Only one thing I want to mention, there was some dog barking that woke me up for 2 nights during the early morning hours. I think it's the neighbor across the road. Even so, I definitely recommend this boutique hotel.
- Ara (10/5): Great time in Santorini - Excellent service, very friendly staff, rooms not luxurious but very comfortable, and with amenities, very nice veranda next to rooms. Breakfast service is excellent and with good variety. Hotel has a nice pool but not heated so it was cold for September. Location is good within walking distance to centre but being a mountainous area lots of uphill and downhill. Overall very enjoyable stay.
- Yelena (10/5): Great choice! - Amazing choice! It's in the heart of Fira: walking distance to bus station to get anywhere across the island, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and best views. At the same time the taxi will drive you right to the door so you don't have to deal with your laggage over hundreds of steps:) Outstanding customer service: we booked trips, restaurants, taxi thru reception and it was done in the best way. I would stay here again!
- Benoit (8/5): Very good place - Very well located. Is it directly on the street so you can hear noise a good part of the night. If you're a light sleeper, try to get a room Whit a window that is not by the street. Our from did not had AC so we slept with the windows open. The pool is nice but small and right by the street as well so no that quiet but still very enjoyable. Service was great and breakfast was very good
- Verified traveler (10/5): Brilliant accommodation at Fira. Highly recommend - 2 receptionists are friendly & happy to help guests as possible as they can. The location of hotel is near by Fira bus station; so that it is easy access to Oia, Kamari beach & other towns. It is small hotel but facilities & services are in great standard. If breakfast options and quality can be improved will be perfect. Overall, this hotel is a good accommodation to stay.
- Sarah (8/5): Nice Fira hotel stay - Modern façade, poolside and bathrooms, but dated rooms. Triple room's double bed is up a set of stairs in the room and full blast air con is unable to change the hot air temperature on that upper level; there was a fan upstairs. A roll away bed was provided for the bottom level at no extra cost when I expressed concern about sleeping in that heat, which was excellent customer service. The on-site massage facility is great too! And inexpensive. Buffet breakfast included was fantastic.

- Shaz (8/5): Quiet, quaint hotel - perfect location! - My friend and I stayed at this hotel and were extremely impressed with the service we received. Fani, took so much care of us and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable. I don't eat meat and the staff kindly kept a separate box of vegetarian pastries for me for breakfast. There is a swimming pool and sunbeds which is great to relax without having too many people. The location is perfect - it's literally a 5 min walk to the centre and is 30 mins to Oia up north or 30 mins to Akrotiri and other beaches down south.
