- jencelbridge (10/5): Definitely be back - Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Regular water bus to Venice, stop right outside hotel. Murano is quiet enough, but we took the bus every day to Venice, no problems.
- Kauaimary (10/5): Great alternative to Venice hotels - This is a great new hotel on Murano situated in a former glass factory. The location is ideal- only 15 minutes by water taxi from the airport either by hotel shuttle or the Alilaguna. We had to wait over 30 min for the hotel shuttle so would recommend the more frequent Alilaguna (although for a large party the hotel shuttle would make sense). The Museo vaporetto stop is directly in front of the hotel and it is only another 15 min to Venice of the 4.1 line. Our duplex suite was great, especially with the sun streaming through the skylight in the bedroom in the afternoon. But the best part of this hotel is the restaurant which is not your typical hotel venue. Full breakfast buffet and the dinner menu are both first class. The scrambled eggs are the best ever and at dinner I especially enjoyed the Morcardini and Savory heart starters and the pasta dishes were excellent. Service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Dinner in Venice is also an easy option. This is an ideal hotel for those wishing to avoid the bustle of Venice (Murano is very quiet at night) and at half the price. The only disadvantage is the proximity to Venini Glass which is a seriously dangerous place for certain shoppers!
- deso853 (10/5): Best short stay ever. - A wonderful stay with a fantastic friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful staff, a lovely warm group. The food was superb and the rooms were extremely comfortable and very well equipped with everything you would need. A really perfect few days spent in Murano.
- msr3527 (10/5): Great stay, delicious breakfast - I enjoyed this hotel. The service was excellent, room was clean and large. Breakfast was outstanding with a great variety. Breakfast room to eat was large and well designed. One has to take a vaporetto to Venice which takes about 20-30 minutes, and I suggest getting a day pass for however many days you are staying. The place is quiet which is nice and away from the hectic crowds. The front desk are helpful about helping you choose which vaporetto to take at different times of the day. Public transport to the airport was easy and took about 30 minutes.

- jon23454 (10/5): A peaceful alternative when staying in Venice. - This hotel stands out for its unique location on the 'glass island' of Murano offering easy access to the main attractions of Venice but providing a haven of tranquility to return to. Service is friendly but always professional and the hotel has a blend of traditional and modern design, within the shell of an old glassworks. My room was spacious and comfortable and public areas are comfortable and relaxing. Excellent breakfast both food and service.
- C8182STharryc (10/5): Marie and Betty deserve a special mention - a wonderful hotel - A special mention for Betty at breakfast who goes the extra mile every day. Thank you for my multiple Capuccinos also for helping me with my Italian. The Hotel is wonderful if not on the main land of Venice but with a Vaperetto right outside that can take you everywhere. All the staff are so friendly and speak English and other languages. Marie at Reception is also wonderful and also deserves a special mention. Great team work we will certainly come again. Hyatt has captured us (from a stay in Morocco) and now we are delighted to be using Hyatt. So much better than Marriott (which has lost touch with quality and standards). Thank you
- Venture26967018351 (6/5): The experience was overly satisfying, however... - Our 4 nights stay was, for the most part, satisfying and as expected. The staffs were polite and responsive. However, there were red stains (either blood or red wine) on my cover upon arrival and the plug in the bathroom was broken. Both issues were promptly communicated with the administration but unfortunately, nothing was changed even on our departure, which was disappointing. I was not offered any solution or alternative, so I ended up just not using the cover for my stay.
- andrewwU9844HF (2/5): Possibly the worst service we've ever had in a hotel. - Possibly the worst service we've ever experienced in a hotel. We stayed here some years ago when it was Lagare and enjoyed very good service throughout. A simple spritz this evening proved almost too much for The Hyatt (yes, The Hyatt!) to deal with. There were very few customers around but it still took fifteen minutes for anyone to serve us in the 'Spritz & Fizz' bar after its opening time. It then took about the same time when we wanted to pay; there was no staff member in the bar and the staff at reception and in the restaurant seemed disinterested. It wasn't what we'd hoped for, or expected, for our first night back on Murano. We were asked for a room number when we finally got to pay so guests would presumably receive the same indifferent service as visitors. Very disappointing.
- gregsD1954GV (10/5): Retreat in Murano - This hotel is located on the neighboring island of Murano and felt like a sanctuary tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. From the moment you step on property, it feels like everything was designed with a purpose and the hotel itself is built inside the shell of an old glass factory. The staff was extremely well trained and the food and beverage program exceeded expectations. I enjoyed the 2 level standard suite as well as the thought out breakfast including a mimosa bar. Would definitely stay again.
- LucyJ514 (10/5): Exceptional Hospitality and a Perfect Setting for Our Company Offsite - We recently held a team-building company offsite at Hyatt Centric Murano for 20 pan-European colleagues, alongside a CEO event, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. The private boat transfer set the tone immediately - seamless, well organised, and a wonderful way to arrive in Murano. From the moment we stepped off the boat, the warm welcome from reception and every member of staff made us feel genuinely looked after. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, with great meeting rooms, ideal for a professional yet relaxed offsite. The food was excellent throughout, with thoughtful presentation and consistently high quality that was appreciated by our international group. Service was attentive without ever being intrusive, which made both group meals and leadership moments highly enjoyable. A special mention must go to several outstanding team members (amongst many more who I didn't get the names of): Francesca (Sales Manager), who seemed completely unflappable—nothing fazed her and she was incredibly helpful at every turn; Pietro and Hassan on reception, who were always smiling, proactive, and happy to help; Betty and Stan in the restaurant, who provided wonderful, responsive service; and Riccardo in the bar, who made fantastic cocktails and Aperol spritzes and added a real sense of warmth and personality to our evenings. Hyatt Centric Murano proved to be an excellent choice for a company offsite and executive event, it was professional, welcoming, and memorable. I We all left feeling well cared for and would absolutely love to return.
- lopezani (6/5): What are these charges for? - Let's start with the good, entrance to hotel is beautiful, the water taxi is right in front of hotel "great convenience", check in was welcoming, staff will look into all of your request if any was made, they offer a breakfast package if one was not included in your room package. Room very clean and comfortable, for the value that comes later to discuss, walls super thin, you do hear other guest throughout the night. As for service i had minimal experience, but was exceptional, Airline lost my luggage, staff very Kindley tried to contact the airport on the status of my lost luggage. Food or cuisine which ever works, very undesirable, the menu has limited choices, and you would think they would have mastered them. Ordered two dishes, one undercooked another the chicken was close to raw, they did offer an option to rectify the issue and offer soup, i inclined to give it a go but that to was not up to par. Purchased the breakfast package some items should be thoroughly cooked more, pretty much the same items every day not much of a variety, after my second day i decided to look elsewhere for breakfast. Please be careful of hotel charges, it adds up, and please have them explained each item on the bill, unfortunately i didn't have time, but did tell them i was dissatisfied with the food and the choices, Desk staff said i wish you would have said something before the bill was charged to your card, i requested if my charges still can be adjusted, he told me now i would have to wait for managers approval, but could have readjusted charges before the desk staff charged my card? I also request to but the charges on another card, but was charged to card on file, when i asked the charges to be dismissed from card they could not .
- jordong33 (4/5): Nice hotel but not worth it overall - Nice hotel. Located I front of water taxi which is nice. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However due to location there is not a lot of food options or much to do. The hotels restaurants information is not consistent such as menus and business so be aware of this before staying here. Not a huge issue but was an annoyance during our stay. Also, the ac does not work. The rooms have a thermostat but not sure what it does. It was very cold outside yet the rooms were still very hot. Noticed a lot of others had fans in their rooms as well.

- MeredithH93 (8/5): Lovely hotel on quiet Murano - The hotel is lovely - located right off the vaporetto "Museo" stop on Murano, the hotel is clean, quiet, and convenient. Our room was a loft, so the main bed was upstairs. This arrangement was a little weird since it meant that our son was sleeping in the living room. It was a shirt stay, so this worked, but it would have been annoying longer term. The breakfast was ample and had nice vegetarian options, and we had a superb dinner one night (their holiday menu). I did have 2 nitpicky items about the hotel - one was that the front desk person couldn't clearly explain about transport from the train station to the hotel. Having never been to Venice before, I called with my concerns about the transfer, and they said "oh it's easy - just get a vaporetto and you're here!" It definitely was simple once I figured out how to get a ticket, validate it, and catch the proper vaporetto line. They should really be able to explain all of this when you call instead of making you do all the research on your own - it is daunting to a newbie and guidance could have upped the star rating. Even giving us the official website for the public transit would have been helpful. The other minor thing is that the second floor hallways were smelly. I guess it was a musty smell - possibly due to crazy humidity/fog we had while visiting - but an air freshener would help tremendously. The rooms were perfect though! In the heart of Murano, there are shops and little cafes everywhere for your enjoyment.

Being on Murano makes it far more peaceful and quiet than the main islands, perfect if you’ve been to Venice before and want a calmer experience. Even for first-timers, it feels like you can slow down and fully appreciate the beauty of Venice. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the hotel is filled with Murano glass art pieces, and the breakfast is amazing. The location is perfect, right in front of the vaporetto station, so you can go anywhere without walking. It’s also just a short trip to Burano. Get the breakfast package, it’s worth it, especially if you want a hearty start before a busy day. A lot of variety. The views are stunning, and overall, it stands out among all the hotels we stayed at in Europe. Truly relaxing. This was the first time we actually said to ourselves, “Our mattress run is worth it.” Exploring the world and staying at different Hyatt hotels has been such a rewarding experience, and Hyatt Centric Murano just proved it even more.

Directly across from the water bus stop, it is clean, very well decorated with local glasswork and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. If you are coming to Venice and not sure if you want to stay on the main island or in Murano, I strongly recommend staying here away from the huge crowds. My wife and I were able to walk the canals and bridges of Murano, both at time and in the morning, and we had the paths pretty much to ourselves. You will not get that across the lagoon.

At the hotel, Andrea, the front desk manager, went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. She helped me with a room that exceeded all expectations—beautiful, bright, and full of historic charm. I loved being able to open the windows and take in the peaceful view. The Murano glass lamps were a stunning touch. The room’s cleanliness truly stood out. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the spotless space to the excellent coffee maker and the comfort of the bed. I travel frequently for business and stay in many hotels throughout the year, but this hotel made me feel more welcome than any other. The sense of solitude and quiet was exactly what I needed. Andrea made my time here incredibly special, greeting every interaction with professionalism and genuine care. I absolutely loved her kindness and dedication. This hotel is a gem, and I can’t wait to return.
- LKD80 (10/5): Resort style stay in immaculate hotel - Great friendly staff, big rooms, very clean and brilliant breakfast, Hyatt Murano is like staying at a resort from which to base your travels in Venice. It’s also the first stop from the airport and there is a ferry stop right outside the front door which goes to all the key stops in Venice, so if you have mobility issues this is really good. We also used the sauna steam for €10 per person which is like having your own private space for an hour or two. Highly recommended - you can tell thought has gone into this hotel and the hiring to march makes it an insanely pleasant stay. Definitely get breakfast with your room when you book.
- ede510 (6/5): A lovely hotel, just off the beaten path - The hotel is lovely and well located right next to the Museo ferry stop, the room was clean and fairly comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. That said, there were a few drawbacks - first, it takes some effort to get out to Murano and once you are there you don’t have many options for food/museums/shopping (except glass, obviously) that a visitor might wish for. You’ll really to to go into Venice if you are looking for activities. Also, the food at the hotel and in the surrounding area, just wasn’t great. In a country filled with incredible trattorias and osterias serving delicious family recipes, the food here was a big miss for us. But maybe that helped to shave off any weight we’ve gained earlier in our trip? You won’t starve, but the best food will be in Venice itself.

We did not eat there, but they do have the option to have breakfast included with your stay. The staff were super nice and helpful. We had to catch an early flight, and they gave us exact information on the best way to get to the airport. The island itself was very easy going and less busy than the main island which was great. There are plenty of shops and gelato in easy walking distance.

The breakfast was included for 2 of us. Staff were friendly. It was easy to find - we got the water bus from the airport. 18 Euro return. Then walked about 10 mi it's to the hotel. They were happy to keep our bags while we explored. The room was lovely. There were no mosquitoes to be seen. The bathroom had a large walk in shower. Water was refreshed every day. Breakfast was vast and plentiful, fruits, cheeses, fish, pastries, hot options, bread ,yoghurt etc etc. On our final day we also left our luggage for the last trip. There was a water bus stop right outside the hotel, 3 more within a 10/15 minute walk. Easy transport to Murano, Lido, and Venice itself. Murano was very quiet in the evenings. Overall a great stay.

When booking, said included airport transfer, I called before to check what that was and apparently was not included.. confused because other reviews clearly stated it was. Also failed to give us any details on the water bus which was pretty direct and easy. Anyway, we blew £100 on a water taxi because we didn’t know what else to do! Similar situation on the way back, got the water bus but there was no mention of different water bus companies requiring different tickets so had to pay another £40. Just annoying, I feel as though paying the amount it is should warrant some help from staff with organising airport transport, especially when you say it’s included!! Breakfast also a joke, please don’t bother! Wasn’t able to buy for one person at the start and is £28 to buy on the day for ONE breakfast. Honestly just get from a cafe, it’s cheaper to buy in the most touristy spot in central Venice than the hotel. Room also stated a canal view, if you go right in the corner, yes you can see the canal but let’s call it as it is and state courtyard with partial canal view. Room was super clean and good amenities, although bathroom light was broken. Bed comfy and clean. Gym also tiny, putting a massive mirror in there does not in fact make it double the size.. also not sure why they charge £10 extra for the sauna? Main reason for review was just the complete lack of help/information about transport. Don’t state transfer if there isn’t one! Feel like it’s massively misleading. The two stars I have given are for the wonderfully lovely bar staff. Super friendly and smiley, Gustavo and Plicardo, 11/10!

- LTimothy (4/5): Beautiful Island, Disappointing Stay - Especially for Globalists - I stayed one night at the Hyatt Centric Murano Venice, and unfortunately, this experience has prompted me to start writing reviews. While there are a few positives, the overall stay was quite disappointing. On the bright side, the rate was reasonable, and the hotel’s airport shuttle is a very good value compared to the steep cost of private water taxis. Murano itself is quiet, and the water buses run often enough to make getting to Venice manageable, just plan to add about an hour to your travel time. Our suite was spacious, breakfast offered a decent spread, and I appreciated the Globalist upgrade. That’s where the positives end. Staff service was inconsistent and indifferent, and Globalist recognition seemed to depend entirely on who you spoke to. The reception area looks tired, more like a budget hotel, and check-in was chaotic. We arrived two hours early and were told no rooms were available, even as other guests checked in. When I asked to forgo the upgrade for an earlier room, I was told all rooms were “already assigned.” The front desk couldn’t notify us when the room was ready and never followed up. The suite itself had plenty of space but no desk, awkward furniture, and almost no Murano glass decor. The biggest issue, however, was the mosquitoes. They were already inside the room when we arrived, we could see them on the walls and high ceilings, and because of the two-story layout, they were nearly impossible to reach. We spent half the night hunting them down, waking up every hour or two to loud buzzing near our ears. The room was also warm and stuffy since the AC couldn’t be adjusted, so hiding under the blanket wasn’t an option. We killed a few, but more kept appearing, and we both woke up with several bites on our faces. It completely ruined our night’s rest and the start of our trip. For the time, effort, and distance it takes to reach Murano, I’d suggest staying elsewhere in Venice.
- Jeffrey (4/5): - Put in the incorrect room although I insisted it was wrong but at 9pm why argue. An hour later the error was corrected and we moved to correct room. Room had mold as both mornings we couldn’t open our eyes and felt like something in room causing this. We were promised direct transfers to the Venice airport for $22 but the boat broke down that night, they said we could walk 20 minutes with all our bags to catch a direct ferry or transfer twice and spend 2 hours to reach airport. They set up a private taxi that was to pick us up no later then 9:30 am at our cost of $150 and when we went to lobby at 9:10am they had NO record of the night manager (jose) that set up the taxi. He called and said it was a mix up and the taxi would arrive at 9:30. At 9:45 he called again and said it was 5 min away. it showed at 10am. So we missed our connection, we paid $150 to be late when we were promised a $22 transfer when we booked this hotel. The Only good part of the stay was our waitress at the restaurant on the 1st night, Chris, she was excellent. Overall very disappointed with experience.

You've to take a boat ride 5 stops to F.Te.Nove where all the action or meeting point is. Though the boat ride station is literally just outside the hotel, but I wouldn't stay here again if you only have 2 nights. Bite the bullet and stay walking distance in Mark's square. To organize private transfer from Murano to airport I was scammed by Viator as they told me is very complicated and charge us Euro 650 for 2 pax. Anyway, arriving to Hyatt, there was a queue and took a while to check in. Though reception was ok but I wouldn't say they are exactly friendly or super helpful. The morning reception guy is way better than the afternoon shift. Room I've upgraded and paid for 2 Deluxe King, is spacious enough but hot. September the temperature is still scotching to the skin. My sister has to get a fan in the room as it was unbearable for her. My sister's room has no chairs while I had 2. Shower is very easy to operate. Room floor is rather dirty, maybe housekeeping should mop it. Gym you've to book your slot as it only has 1 treadmill, 1 cycling machine and 1 multi-purpose + and some dumbbells. Breakfast starts at 7am and plenty of food. Thought they are not so flexible if you have to leave at 7:12 for the boat ride, they will not open breakfast room for you at 15min. earlier. Overall the hotel is decorated nicely and cost ~ Euro 450 a night. Cheap compare to the main square but I'll not stay here again. Location is a problem.

- 371wheelchairt (8/5): Mostly a hit - with a few misses (wheelchair access details inside) - The Hyatt Centric Venice Murano is a beautiful property that reflects its unique location on the glassmaking island of Murano. The hotel is modern, clean, and features some truly stunning glass artwork harkening back to its days as a glass factory. The front desk staff here is very friendly and they were very helpful with directions and recommendations. We especially loved meeting Chris, our hostess/server at Osteriva restaurant, where we had two excellent meals. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food is sublime. We were not as impressed with the Riva Longa Cafe where we had the worst dinner of our trip. We were similarly not impressed with the housekeeping department. We only asked to have our room cleaned one day of our stay despite this being a full service hotel and requested this from the front desk twice that morning, only to come home to a dirty room that no one had touched. They were quick to deliver essentials we needed, but it was still very disappointing as the hotel is not cheap and a corresponding level of service is expected. The location has its pluses and minuses. Having a water bus dock right in front of our hotel was super convenient but the boat routes that service the island are a bit confusing as not every boat stops there and service ends on the 3 line by 6:23pm. For someone who can walk 10 minutes this is not a big deal, but there are bridges with steps that make this more challenging for wheelchair users as we can't as easily hop between stops. Other than that, the area of the island is easily walkable and many shops and restaurants are accessible. We loved that the glass museum and a coop supermarket were both around the corner. Getting to Venice attractions and Burano did involve a commute that ranged from 30-90 minutes, but if you can navigate steps, that could be less as we had to use routes that avoided staired bridges on the main island. Che Bateo is generally a useful app for figuring out boat routes, but it did give me incorrect directions on what dock to use once so check the map at each stop before getting on to make sure you get the correct direction for the 4.1 back to the hotel. As I use a wheelchair, the rest of this review is specific to accessibility for people with disabilities. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible standard twin room. From what I was able to gather from the Hyatt site, the only options for a wheelchair user are a standard twin room and a premium suite that only has one king bed without the possibility of a rollaway. The standard rooms are TINY and it was tight even with my small travel chair. I was surprised that it was the smallest of the accessible rooms I stayed in during my trip to Europe. While I appreciated easily being able to reach the bed and bathroom, some elements of the room clearly were not designed well for wheelchair users and assumed that a companion would be around to help. Though that was the case for this stay, I also travel alone and know many disabled people who do. Things like the coffee maker and hangers for clothes are impossible to access from a wheelchair because they are too high up. The view was of a wall, which is kinda typical for accessible accommodations so I pretty much expect it. I was happy to find that the window easily opened from a seated position, providing much needed fresh air that I could access myself. The bathroom was a good size for me to easily get around in, but I found the grab bar placement to be a bit low. Unlike other European hotels, there is only one full length fold down grab bar and a tiny mini bar on the short wall shared with the shower. This is a bizarre design choice as there was enough space to install a fold up bar on the other side too, which would have provided more stability, especially for me as one side is weaker than the other. There is also a bidet hose next to the toilet but it didn't work. The shower had good non slip flooring that I really appreciated and a generous amount of grab bars that I found helpful. There was no built in seat, and the stool provided in the room is a nice visual design concept but not stable enough for a disabled person to use for transfers. The front desk guy quickly problem solved and gave me a more stable chair with a back to sit on, which was much appreciated. There is a rack due the shampoo and conditioner bottles, but it's far from the shower controls, which makes it unusable from a seated position. These things may seem minor but wheelchair users should be considered and consulted in every design aspect of an adapted room, and that clearly wasn't the case here. The hotel has its own private boat for inexpensive airport shuttle transfers, which is convenient.,.as long as you're not disabled. When I went to book it, I saw a long rider saying it's not accessible and that the hotel will not provide any alternative, which is a bit disappointing because I thought the new EU accessibility laws would provide equality but I guess Hyatt feels this doesn't apply to them, despite being an American chain and having enough resources to shoulder the cost of accommodating with a taxi service that has a wheelchair lift like they do when faced with this issue in other markets with similar anti-discrimination laws (aka the ADA). While I hope that the hotel ends this discriminatory practice, I didn't find the public boat transfer too difficult as the water buses and Alilaguna all have ramps and crew that were great about helping me on and off, as well as assisting with luggage (my main concern as my companion is elderly with a non visible disability). It does require making a transfer at Murano Colonna though as the public airport boat does not stop at the hotel. The bridge to Colonna is step-free but it is a bumpy 15 minute walk, not the easiest with luggage.

Only one Con: - A/C appeared to not work but there was a a fan in the room. Was a little warm at night. We will definitely come back to this property when visiting Murano in the future! -

- kw820 (10/5): Lost on the island of Murano and loving it! - Love the island of Murano - it’s generally quieter and less congested than Venice. The Hyatt property was really unique and beautiful. I loved my bedroom, it felt very luxurious with the large bathroom, walking shower, rainshower and all the little extras. Breakfast was the highlight of our day - we felt pampered, and the food was truly fabulous! Very extensive and even my vegan husband found plenty to eat. It’s a little different traveling to and from Murano and is a learning curve, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

There seems to be gaps in communication between staff members. For example, we were promised our room would be ready ASAP at 10 AM ( which was well before the check-in time) but were not able to access a room until 2 PM. It would have been better if they were honest and let us know the room would not be available until the regular check-in time. We had an issue with our keycard not working, and it was promised the door would be fixed. It was not fixed for the duration of our stay. We were also promised to use the spa facilities complimentary for this inconvenience but then were questioned about the timing of our service and why we didn’t let them know 15 min in advance, as someone needs to turn the stream room and sauna on. They then let us know that it was not problem and someone would do it now and to wait for 30 minutes for it to heat up. For this inconvenience we were g given the “service for free”; however it was already supposed to be complimentary? Lastly, I checked with the hotel about our shuttle to the airport for our departure. I never heard a definitive answer back. A woman let me know that she would put us into the 10 AM time slot. Due to all of the miscommunication prior, I decided to check with someone at the front desk later that day. We were never added to the list- I had to alert them.

- jimmy25492 (6/5): Location has some issues, rooms were fine - Stayed here 3 nights in early August and were overall less than impressed. We had several issues I will try and explain but to his credit, the GM addressed after our checkout. We arrived late in the day and were not able to get water taxi service arranged with the hotel. I still find this unacceptable given the dock is right in front of the hotel. Instead we paid 10 euros per person to take the public transport with Alilaguna at the airport. Alilaguna only offers transport o and from the airport. We were the first drop off point which is not at the hotel dock. it is at Murano Colonna which is 15 minutes walk. We got ot the dock at 9:15pm and walked 15 minutes with our bags in the dark to the hotel. We arrived and I knew we quickly had to go and eat as everything in murano closes early (6:00pm for most places). The website says the hotel restaurant closes at 9:45. I told the front desk and he then said it closes at 9:30pm even though everything in the hotel says 9:30. Chiara at the front desk tried to help and was able to get us into the restaurant and we ordered quickly. However, the male front desk agent did absolutely nothing to help. I then checked in after dinner and Chiara explained a few things about the water taxis. You can only buy passes in person at Colonna or at an electronic stand at Faro. The next morning we walked at 8:00am to buy passes and get breakfast. Not a single place was open at 8:00am until we got to Faro's dock and it was low end. We tried several times to buy passes at the machine and nothing worked. We then walked to Colonna further away to buy passes from a person at the stand. Only problem is they dont open until 10:00am. So we again had no passes to ride the water bus. We decided to just get on the boat to venice and hope they didnt ask for the passes. We were lucky. I find the pass system overall to be very very difficult. because of this I am not sure we could stay here again despite having few issues with the actual room. One other note is to understand that if you need to leave early in the morning for your departure, the first water bus does not leave until 6:32am. There is another one that leaves at 6:07am and goes to the train station though if you are taking train. After checking out, we have further issue with receiving nights and points earned with hyatt. I did hear from the GM though after about our issues and thank him for his response.

Breakfast staff are very attentive and friendly. We stayed 6 days. Enjoyed our daily commute to Venice. After a busy day in Venice, we have our dinner at Murano which we like the quiet and calm vibes. Night strolls in Murano were magical and the glass stores were a fun visit. We saw glass demo and visited glass museum. I bought some cool souvenirs. This hotel in Murano is worth the stay!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Stayed here five nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel provided a boat shuttle straight from the airport which was very convenient but they don’t tell you they do not provide rides back to the airport before 11am. Our room was great and the view of the water was wonderful to wake up to. The only thing was the air conditioning, it barely worked or stopped working in the night and there are no fans and no window screens so bug bites. Thank goodness we brought a tiny hand held fan to get us through the nights. The water taxi right outside the hotel and the cafe were major perks. Would stay again, it was really nice to come back to a quiet island after all the people on San Marco during the day.

It's a perfect getaway from busy Venice and our "home away from home" - a place to wind down after day trips around the Veneto area. The whole island of Murano is a gem and this hotel provides the kind of space and amenities that you need for a truly relaxed pace! The quality of the breakfast buffet every morning was consistently good and the staff were accommodating and friendly.
- panejelly (10/5): Dream Location in Venice - This hotel on the island of Murano is a dream location. Perfectly located from the tourist crowds in the main Venice Island. The airport boat taxi docks right in front of the hotel. The service is excellent. They are very strict about the 3PM check in time. If you are a Murano Venini collector then this is the place to be. The rooms are huge by european standards because the building used to be a glass factory from what I understand. Breakfast is plentiful. The bed and room amenities are wonderful. There is a rain shower. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance of the hotel.

The beds are large and super comfortable, affording a very good nights sleep. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and well furnished - great shower! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, we never felt rushed. Breakfast was amazing with huge variety of foods and the the service staff were very helpful and always offered a smile to start the day. The manager took time to engage with the guests for a chat at breakfast which we felt was welcoming. Perfect location and overall, a definite winner and would recommend to anyone. We’ll certainly be back.
- k0shk0sh (2/5): Hot rooms watch out for bugs - I normally love staying at Hyatt hotels but I'm sad to say this visit has become my worst hotel experience. We encountered issues even before we got to the hotel through checking out and leaving. Before my stay I submitted the form to book the hotel's boat shuttle transfer from the airport and did not get a response. I reached out to the hotel using Whatsapp but got no response there either. Then the morning I was checking in I got an email that the transfer was booked. It was very stressful not getting any response from the hotel and trying to figure out alternative transfer options to the hotel from the airport. To avoid an issue for the transfer back to the airport, I booked it when I checked in at the front desk. However, upon checking out at the front desk the agent said I was not booked for the transfer. Luckily, the agent was able to book it for the next available time which was in 30 minutes at 2:30pm. I waited in the front lobby and then at 2:30pm one of the front desk staff led us outside to board the boat. As the boat was leaving we found out we were boarded on a water taxi service going to the train station. We were brought back to the dock to unload and I went to the front desk to raise the issue. Luckily the hotel's boat shuttle arrived a few minutes later and we were on our way to the airport. Now the rooms... The first room we checked into had moths and flies. My partner killed 5 moths and flies as we were unpacking. We thought that was it but at night there were more and the bugs were still there the next day as we continued killing them. On top of that, the room was uncomfortably hot. I should’ve known the room temperature was going to be an issue when I saw a fan already in the room when we arrived. We were unable to adjust the room temperature with the thermostat and was told by the front desk that the hotel control's the room's thermostat. The hallways and rest of the hotel was at a colder temperature that was more comfortable. By the third day I could not stand it anymore and requested a room change. I was told the new room would be colder. Upon checking in to the new room, it was indeed colder and bug free. But as the day went by the temperature rose and was back to same uncomfortable warm temperature as the first room. I had to request a fan but it did not help. Guests should be able to control the room temperature with the thermostat. We did not sleep well the entire stay. We will not be returning to this hotel.

- David (8/5): - Okay hotel in Murano, very little atmosphere (bit clinical, especially with the bleach smell). It was clean and fine for a few days. If staying here be mindful that everything closes early as the tourists mainly leave when the glass factory's close at around 6pm and very limited restaurants. The area didn't bother us as quiet and good links into venice.

- George0815 (10/5): Feel as a guest! - Heartfelt thanks to all staff members I met. They are all very professional and - above all very, very friendly. I really felt as guest (and not as a “pax” as in so many places)! Be it at at the front desk, at the Sprizz and Fizz bar, the restaurant or the Rivalonga café! I also had the pleasure not only to have breakfast, but also dinner: the fish of the day was a grilled Seabass: best ever. My room was perfectly clean, well situated, cosy and calm.

- Chris_Nick_On_Tour (10/5): Lovely hotel with a great location - Loved staying in this hotel, the location was great with a boat stop outside the hotel to go straight into Venice. If wanted to travel further afield to Burano or Lido then the other boat stops are a short walk away. The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely wide selection of hot and cold food from the buffet. There was also dining options at the hotel for snack or main meals which was great and also plenty of outdoor seating for the summer. Seen some reviews around the aircon, we went when was 28 and the room was cool enough and whilst couldn’t turn the aircon up it was a pleasant temperature to sleep in and didn’t bother us. Was also lovely location on Murano to escape the crowds of Venice, in the evening the island is peaceful with locals and a few tourists. Boats also run till late in the evening so can still enjoy Venice and not have to worry about getting home.

I politely asked to cancel one, and was informed I was beyond the cancellation deadline and be charged for both rooms. I explained I was on a cruise, and hadn’t checked my emails, nothing mattered, and I was charged for both. Orbitz looked into it, and was unable to do anything on my behalf.

- Whoppe2001 (4/5): Disappointed by Room Service and Room Maintenance — Not the Hyatt I Know - I’ve stayed at many Hyatt properties worldwide and have always appreciated the consistency and warmth the brand delivers. Sadly, my experience at Hyatt Centric Murano Venice did not reflect that standard. We tried to order from the room service evening menu at 9:30 PM, only to be told by the front desk that it wasn’t available until 10:00 PM — even though the in-room menu clearly stated service starts at 9:00 PM. When we asked if we could at least place the order for delivery at 10, we were told no. That kind of rigid and unhelpful response felt far from the Hyatt spirit I’ve come to trust. The room service breakfast was also a major disappointment. Unlike other Hyatt stays where you can expect a proper American, English, or even local breakfast set, this property only offered individual items like eggs, pancakes, or an omelet — no full set, no juice or coffee included, and no combinations that resemble a complete meal. To be clear, I’m referring specifically to in-room dining, not the buffet. The condition of the room added to the overall frustration: One of the windows had a large crack in the glass. The shower head arm flipped upward and was difficult to keep in place. The wall-side shower cap was broken and kept falling off. Some of the lamps downstairs were stained and worn-looking. I contacted the hotel afterward via email to share these concerns and only received an automatic reply. No follow-up, no human acknowledgment, no apology — which honestly felt worse than the issues themselves. It’s disappointing to say this, but this stay did not live up to what I’ve come to expect from a Hyatt. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the changes needed, because the location and brand deserve better execution.

Right on the water, right by the water taxi, lots of beautiful art and public places to lounge both indoors and out! The bed was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The only drawback, for some, may be that it's on Murano so you have to take a water taxi over to the historic island of Venice. Honestly, we were very happy to be on a quieter island, and the trip on the water taxi is lovely!

- Travel-n-run (10/5): Wonderful stay! - I was in Venice for the Biennale di Architettura and I picked this hotel, which was far from the touristy areas and had very reasonable rates. I could not imagine a better stay. The old glass factory was successfully converted into a classy hotel. The interiors and the rooms are elegantly designed. The AC in the room is quiet and efficient. The breakfast area is spacious and welcoming. The location right across the dock, a short boat ride from Venice, is incredibly convenient, not to mention that Murano itself has quite a few attractions (and decent options for a morning run). Last but not least, the staff are super friendly. Well done, Hyatt Centric Murano!

First, they provided a water shuttle to and from the Venice Airport, which was amazing. We just walked out the back of the airport and boarded. Good sized room with 2 chairs. Comfortable bed. Nice shower with rainhead and handheld. Coffee maker, kettle and fridge in room. Air temp was a bit warm for me—not sure if it was objectively warm or just not great air circulation (I had it set on 18), so that's my only negative. Location was great.
- bornthatway_traveler (10/5): Kudos to the Hard-Working Team! - Wowza was my three-night stay at the Hyatt Centric a whirlwind, but 95% a happy one! I’m writing this review wildly late, but if management reads this, I’m sure they will be able to remember exactly when I stayed, since the final night of my stay there was some kind of electrical/water problem in the building which caused the alarms to go off, water to pour from the ceiling and elevators, and the fire department to swarm in and figure it out. The whole hotel was evacuated for several hours. A massive kudos to the staff at the Hyatt Centric for handling the complicated situation so professionally and graciously…it was almost as if they had trained for such specific of a scenario. I was fascinated by how everything unfolded, with everything shrouded in lots of confusion and uncertainty (even to this day!), and I made acquaintances with some fellow American guests next to me while waiting to go back up to my room. All in all, one for the storybooks! Earlier, I also royally screwed up because I plugged my U.S.-based wheelchair charger into the Italian outlet in my room without verifying if the voltage was the same or different—and, of course, it was different. Facepalm. So my charger was completely burnt and unusable, which meant my wheelchair would soon run out of battery (and I still had like a week and a half left on my trip!). The team at the hotel went above and beyond their duties to help me find a solution to the quandary, and the maintenance guys literally used the cords on my original charger to build a DIY, homemade charger that wasn’t great and was actually harmful to my battery, but it let me survive the rest of my trip at least. So thank you so much to everyone who supported me when I made that silly mistake! (And it wasn’t even the first time I made such an error, but that’s another story.) The room I had was unexpectedly spacious, with nice wooden floors and humble touches that gave it a boutique, Murano-themed feel. I had a view of the water, which was really lovely. Noise was not an issue whatsoever (unless you count the fire alarm at 6pm, but of course I wouldn’t ever factor that in). The hotel’s location is well-situated on the island of Murano, the island famous for glassmaking that’s just a quick ferry away from the main islands of Venice. Looking into the future, whenever I’m able to return to Venice, I’d opt to stay again in Murano, since it’s more laid-back and chill. I enjoyed the surrounds. Thanks for a fantastic stay!
