- Kovil (9/5): -
- Ranita (7/5): - Location and staff . No sun light inside the room .
During winter rooms are very cold as there are no sun lights.
Old thermal water heater which takes forever to get hot water and you have leave the tap open for 10 mins to 15 mins to get hot water.

- SACHIN KUMAR (4/5): - The service staff was polite and easily accessible. The rooms size was ok, but the condition of the property was not so good. There was lot of dust in the entire property, and the management was also not so accommodative to support the late check out. Food was ok not so great. It definitely can be improved.

- Roosmarijn Elize (8/5): - Zeer vriendelijk personeel, met name de ober in het restaurant.

- Gharpure (8/5): Very good - Loved the stay
- Lomash (10/5): Exceptional service - Very professional and courteous staff. I will be staying here only whenever I come to Manali. Great food and very prompt room service. The rooms could have some type of ventilation. The double bed had a split in between.
- Liz (5/5): Sufficient, but not worth the money and the smelly drains were a problem. - The building is historic with lovely wood features and the garden is beautiful. The staff did try to help where they could. I think it may be under new management. The drains in our bathroom were very smelly, we did report them but the staff were unable to help. There is also a problem with the hot water. We eventually found out that there is a heat pump and you need to call reception 10 min before you shower to turn it on which was a nuisance. The road outside is very busy and noisy with no place for pedestrians to walk which was dangerous. The breakfast was also very chaotic with the popular items running out and taking ages to be replaced.
- Gordon (8/5): Charming accommodation - Spacious room, clean, veranda, good value for money (approx. 35 Euro/night) Low water pressure, at very busy small road (quiet in room though)
- Puja (8/5): Very good -
- Angel (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay was so good. Especially the excellent services we got from the staff particularly the restaurant. Food was totally at par excellence. We didn't expect a log accommodation in a small province to have a 5 star hotel service. And the physical structure of the accommodation was built in 1865 but the quality is good. I might consider this again for future travels. Just the shower water heater needs to be open for more than 10mins before it gets warm. Other than this everything is so good.
- Girish (10/5): Exceptional - Staff is very kind and accommodating.
- Adnan (8/5): Very good - The Property is well made , old school wooden construction.
Feels very peaceful.
Staff is very polite and helpful.
Needs a bit of maintenance regarding electrical fittings and sanitary ware.
- Sourabh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vatika (5/5): Passable -
- Joshi (9/5): Superb - Only aspect needs improvement is in food preparation.rest all excellent
- Antareep (9/5): Homely and peaceful. - The staff was very polite. The ambience was very appealing. The room facilities were as promised.
- Riddhi (7/5): Overall disspaointed with the attitude of the reception staff - Size of the room, wooden interiors, enclosed balcony Squeaky floor, noisy doors and wardrobe, bad acoustics, inoperational fireplace citing lack of wood, low food options citing no tandoor due to rains/snow. Most importantly we had a health emergency and the reception just washed their hands off the entire episode, refused to give us house keeping service for it and showed zero concern for us. After literally asking ten times for the cleaning tools, we were supplied with broken mop and other equipments.
- Sudhakar (9/5): Superb -
- Karthik (8/5): Very good - Good breakfast
Polite staff
Prime location Smelly bathrooms
No room heating included in the price
- Lisa (4/5): Disappointing -
- Randika (7/5): Good - Location is good enough just a 10 minute walk to the Mall road. Rooms are good and big enough.
The staff is friendly and good but the restaurant staff has to improve their English knowledge.
Food is good enough and price is resonable. We stayed 3 nights during the last part of the winter, and it was the last snowfall.
From the second day there was electricity failure in that area and hotel management did not switch on the electricity generator in day time they were just switched on it from 7pm to 11pm. I was really disgusting decision from the management, a hotel like this with an average temperature below zero even in day time. No heaters, No lights, No Hot water The answer of them is very funny, they have limited fuel to run the generator.
- Ashish (8/5): Very good -
- Anuradha (10/5): Exceptional - Room and cleanliness. Too good
- Mohamad (9/5): Superb -
- Sahil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vikas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Priyanka (10/5): Exceptional - The location is convenient both for mall road and old manali. The staff is excellent and extremely courteous. The rooms are big and cozy .
- Khan (9/5): Superb -
- Naresh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nirmal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gouri (9/5): Superb -
- Letsilencego (10/5): Ending 2024 with Mayflower - The property is situated a little far on the top, which makes it easy for guests to navigate between old Manali and Mall road easily.
The property was hospitable, the room view was breathtaking and the room size was huge.
The breakfast spread is also something to not miss. Commuting to this place from the bus stand or via car can take time due to the narrow roads and constant traffic jam on the hills.
The cab or auto will charge extremely high prices for marginal distance.
- Azad (9/5): Superb -
- Gurdip (8/5): It’s good but not perfect - I like the property and luv the ambience. But not maintain hygiene and lack of cleaning.you have to take action about hygienic
- Subs (6/5): Pleasant - Staff was not prompt to take out plates once dinner or lunch was done in the room
Staff did not come to clean room everyday and we had to make multiple calls asking them to please come to the room
- Pulkit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lawrence (10/5): Extremely pleasant - Good old style service and what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel highly recommended it All exceptional
- Vivek (10/5): Exceptional - Really loved the room's architecture, cozy nature of it while being large sized room! Loved using the bathtub and all the amenities. We really like the location of the property as we wanted to be close to the Mall Road for the dates we stayed here. When you are the hotel restaurant, it feels like you are sitting right next to a forest.
Bonus: Mall Road is walking distance, and we used to actually take the much longer route from the Manali Nature Park which is a massive forest (but its actually a park) which is just behind the hotel. Property might come across as a little old for some people, but we call it character!
- Manish (10/5): Wonderful! Amazing property.. - Wonderful property. Great location. Awesome rooms and hospitality. Car parking is tight!
- Sophia (7/5): Pretty place to stay with a peaceful view in room to enjoy! - The Hotel is sizable and really beautifully built. Very cabin-like. The room (I believe it was a 1-bedroom delux) was very (!) large and featured a gorgeous den to sit and enjoy the view of the forest. That was stunning. My stay was in early November so the heater in the room was used and appreciated. The location is convenient and the breakfast is nice! At times it was a buffet and other times was served à la carte. They kindly deliver drinks and such to you the rooms which was another nice touch. My bathroom drain backed up a few times when I was showering, so it seems like that needs a cleaning and clearing. There was a bit of a stink along with that as well which wasn't so pleasant.
- Vinayak (10/5): Excellent stay - Greenery and polite hospitality Nothing
- Vinayak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saurabh (4/5): Disappointed - Hotel location was central
Room was spacious
Wooden work in the room gave it a contemporary look. I booked a room with a balcony but there was no balcony in the room, no window to the exterior which could lead natural light into the room.
Room was not maintained properly, from open drains in the bathroom to paucity of curtains ( which were full of dust) and broken lampshades, the room was crying for maintainence.
There were water tanks on the roof of the room ( 211) with water being pumped all night creating a noise which did not let me sleep. No body was there at the reception in the night to switch off the pump.
There was fungus all over the restaurant menu in the room- gave us a disgusting feeling
- Ankit (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent service Nothing
Everything was the best
- Gabby (8/5): Enjoyable stay, good service, showers not super reliable - The inclusive breakfast was delicious with lots of different options that change every day. We really enjoyed it! The bed in our room was also very comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay. The room was spacious and had a lovely cabin feel. The staff was also very helpful and came to support whenever we had an issue, they responded quickly. The hotel is between old and new Manali, short walk to each location. Our shower had very low pressure and it took a very long time for the water to get hot and sometimes it didn’t get hot at all so we had to call the staff to fix it. They were helpful and always fixed it but it was tedious. Eventually they moved us to another room that had much better shower. There was also a lingering smell of sewage that came from the bathroom at different times of the day
- Nishant (9/5): Good we chose this hotel - Location, heritage building with big rooms, friendly staff Food
- Imran... (9/5): Better stay than expected - The location is perfect if you seek a peaceful environment. Staff is excellent. Very delicious breakfast.
- Areeba (7/5): Beautiful stay - I liked the hotel's proximity to the centre. Also, the rooms were huge and well maintained. They had provided a heater free of charge. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The mattresses were not good. Gave me a backache. Also, instead of two single mattresses, they should have used one king size mattress. The two single mattresses were moving away from each other creating a gap.
- Vivek (9/5): Superb -
- Pauline (8/5): Grand old Flower offers the best of both worlds. - Halfway between old and new Manali, this grand old lady gave us the best of both worlds, with comfort and space inside and views of the gardens out the front and a pine forest out the back. I enjoyed the best hot water pressure in the bathroom (bath and shower) and slept like a log in the bed. I loved the decent sized cups for a decent cup of tea in the mornings. Beautiful floorboards! There was a bad smell coming up from the sewer/drain that meant the room needed to be aired extensively. Please don't tear down this lovely hotel to fix the problem.
- Pauline (9/5): Old world charm with ready access to Old and New Manali - Make sure you book a room with balcony. The rooms were grand! Spacious and oozing old world charm with wide wooden floorboards and ceilings and a large fireplace. Great water pressure and helpful staff. Very happy with the bed which was large, warm and with spotless sheets and pillowcases. Still some smell of the sewer though not nearly as bad as in the ground-floor rooms.
Breakfast was adequate but could be more adventurous, e.g. eggs cooked to order. The chai was very good - best part of breakfast.
- Jishnu (8/5): Very good -
- Daljeet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samrat (8/5): Negi dar hotel - Hotel is old colonial charm with very good forest view. Large size room and bed. Balcony looking into the forest behind is awesome. Breakfast was simple and well made. Easy access from mall road. Hotel had some patches in walls of our bathroom. Construction going on for new wing. View to the mountains is blocked now.
- Sebastian (8/5): Very good -
- Arun (8/5): Very good - Staff behaviour and value for money Power sockets are very old
- Ratnakar (9/5): Had a wonderful 18 hours of stay and wishing we had stayed here for 18 days. - Spacious n clean rooms, spacious and clean toilets, fully functional geyser, friendly & attentive staff, property located in the heart of Manali with almost everything at walking distance, aesthetics of room with Deodar wood used extensively. NOTHING to complain about.
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sunraj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aditi (9/5): Superb - The vibe of the place is amazing, with the wooden structures and lush green sorrounding
