Nous sommes stupéfaits des commentaires et de la note attribuée à cet établissement, et nous nous sommes demandés si nous ne nous étions pas trompés de guest house !!! La chambre réservée sur le site était minuscule, acces a un « balcon » par une porte qu’on ne pouvait passer qu’à 4 pattes. Avons demandé une chambre un peu plus grande. Le propriétaire nous a proposé une soit disant « suite deluxe » à 2 000rp au lieu de 3000rp. Aucune des prestations prévues n’a été délivrée: Pas de wifi Pas de restauration (ni pt dej, ni dej, ni dîner) Balcon jonché de détritus Un cintre suspendu à la tringle à rideau en guise de penderie Pas de tv Coupure d’eau (chaude ET froide) pendant la douche. Porte serviette et pommeau de douche qui tombe dès qu’on les touche… La description annonce 40m2 ! la chambre faisait au max 20m2. Nous voyageons régulièrement en Inde et n’avons jamais payé aussi cher pour une prestation aussi mauvaise. Nous avons fait part au propriétaire de notre mécontentement et demandé une ristourne, même symbolique. Refus catégorique. Nous recommandons aux voyageurs de fuir cet établissement.

• Srivastava (7/5): Spacious, comfortable room with essentials; with plenty of nearby food options - The room was spacious and comfortable, had all the basic amenities like A/C, Geyser and Hot water kettle.Since we went during shoulder season their restaurant was not operational however you can order food online and their are plenty of restaurants it's vicinity. Overall experience was nice.

Pulizia così, così, camera luminosa anche al mattino...posizione quasi impossibile da raggiungere con qualunque mezzo, non accetta carte di pagamento e senza wi-fi. Scelta colazione molto scarsa.

Not only is this the most beautiful property in Jodhpur (we tried another hotel before this one and saw several others as well) but it is also very clean and well-managed and maintained. We enjoyed the hosting of the family which was very welcoming who loved to share CHAI welcome Chai always....

The cleanliness throughout the property is exceptional from the rooms to the common areas, where everything is spotless and well maintained. Clean accomodation good toiletries. The homestay is given by the looks of rajasthani traditional and architecture is absolutely stunning, with beautifull interiors that reflect the Heritage of Jodhpur perfectly. The rooftop restaurant of a breath taking view of the Jodhpur mehrangarh Fort making every meal memorable experience.

It's was a lovely home stay experience. Perfect location and the hospitality was great. Very clean and filled with required aminities. • Anonymous (10/5): A place not to be miss for a home stay experience - We had a amazing experience staying at Kesar ..the atmosphere is very welcoming and warm with welcome drinks.... Room we had was very spacious and clean, well maintained,large bed, plenty of towels, soft mattress, we got much more then what we expect. It also have a roof top serving delicious local cuisines which becomes the highlight of this place and a amazing view too. Large options of vegetarian varieties are available.

• Anonymous (10/5): Great ambience room and services - On arriving at Rajasthan, Kesar heritage was the first place we stayed. We both agreed that it was a good choice! Absolutely loved the hospitality. It's the most beautiful home stay in Jodhpur but it is also very clean, large room, well-managed and maintained. Only one thing that the few steps access to home stay is by a narrow street sometimes it could surprise but after reaching at the house all settled perfectly. 100% recommend this place to stay

Kesar heritage host family made us feel really welcome and goes out of his way to help with exploring city, and tuk-tuks, making everything super easy. The rooms stand out nicely they’re super clean, spacious, and comfy, beds, blankets fantastic. Plus, you can dig into a nice breakfast and dinner on-site having a great view.

Services and management were incredible, nice family will always look to let you feel comfortable and we did. It was surely clean we had room on the first floor and had some issue with water we informed it and it's got fixed immediately very attentive. Room had good space and windows to the street good lights. To describe it simply it was clean, good value, and super delicious food on the terrace which comes with a great view of the city and fort. We keeps it as a good memories of our stay in blue city. Thanks to family for making our stay memorable 😊😊

Rooms have authentic heritage style things which gives you a mark is the sunlight and clean. Food on the roof top served with a great view of the fort and blue town. Don't be worried if you have to walk a little to reach the house it's very well worth it. It was peaceful and great value of our money. Totally recommended love to come back.😊😊

• Barbara (10/5): Best from hundreds of choices - Much recommended place if you plan to explore beautiful blue city Jodhpur. Rooms are pretty spacious, truly clean, and well-equipped hot shower way too good. Food here simply awesome super delicious which is the main highlight of the place after trying dinner we had tried to went some other restaurants next day and seriously here we found the best .... The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay at each steps. The location is convenient, close to major attractions. The staff were incredibly accommodating from the day to check in and even after check out.
• Benjamin (7/5): Iffy - Nice rooftop view. Good sized room. Good kitchen and cook seems a great guy. Owners seem nice but not particularly attentive. Things are a bit run down. Example: A big, uncovered hole in bathroom ceiling opens up into the huge dark interior of the building. Bits of dirt and a plastic wrapper came through the hole, I guess when the wind blew, and I wondered what else could drop in during the night (ok maybe I'm paranoid but it is a huge hole). Wondered also about hygiene: I asked for a wastebasket in my room (there was none) and one was provided with such a layer of muck encrusted in the bottom I was too disgusted to use it. Frequent power outages and water outages. I imagine other people could have better experiences here than I did, and it was mostly ok, but I think you can do better.

• Caoimhe (7/5): Great location, large comfortable rooms, and breakfast with a view! - We extended our stay in Kesar guesthouse, the second room we had was not as nice as the first room. Breakfast is served on the roof with lovely views of the fort and the blue city. Great location for exploring the streets of Jodhpur. Would not recommend using the laundry service, it took much longer than expected (2+ days) and we were waiting for our laundry to be ready to leave the property. Our second room was not as clean as the first room we had.

• Nicola (8/5): Great location and very friendly and helpful staff - The owner was very helpful in organising a tuk tuk tour of the city and a taxi to Udaipur. He was very attentive throughout our stay. The food was delicious and the rooftop view was amazing. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable There were a few problems with the water. No cold water in one room and no hot water in the other.

Sonny is helpful for directions to the Fort walk, nearby. Delicious food is freshly cooked on the terrace with the magnificent fort view. Perfect location to self-guide from Kesar Heritage. Easy walking distance to the fort, old spice market & many reasonably priced fabric shops.

It's set on a great location easy to explore city walk&visit. It was a peaceful location too for light sleepers. Rooftop terrace have Breakfast & has many choices. Food was delicious with an amazing view. All these things are the reasons for choosing this place to stay and we exactly got what we expect. It's beside a side street so it could be surprising but it ended up with a beautiful and peaceful house

• Tamara (4/5): Disappointing - The staff was friendly and helpfull, we did a nice blue city walking tour with them. The view from the rooftop was really good and the location was really central. The bathroom was dirty, the toilet was constantly leeking and sometimes not flushing, the towels where dirty. We had to ask for 2 towels, soap, toiletpaper and a trashcan. Beds where hard en felt dirty. It was really noisy.

• Anjali (7/5): Good - The staff is friendly and welcoming, the food is good but the food options are limited. The room is spacious and the bathroom is very clean. The location is perfect, if you want to visit near by attractions like clock tower, market, cafes, and jhalra. The rooftop cafe gives beautiful view of the Mehrangarh fort, especially at night. They have only 1 helper who does almost all the things from cleaning to sometimes cooking, this makes it a little problematic when you have requested something urgent in the room (like soap or a kettle) and the helper takes a longer time to provide the same to you. Since it is a residential area, the road and streets are not clean which can be an issue for some people.

• Tanya (10/5): Authentic charming stay - Simply it's awesome 💯 What I like here is a home stay, family ran spot, operated by a family with an enormous heart! As a couple traveler they went above and beyond to make my stay more then comfortable! Generous, kind and friendly are the main attraction of this very nice establishment. Accomodation have private room finely decorated and well clean too. Location of the place is just fantastic was peaceful, roof top terrace have a popular restaurant and Food was delicious and prepared in great time, each time. Prices for rooms and food and drinks here are fair and tasty, and I can't recommend kesar heritage enough if you are staying in Jodhpur.

• Ropher (10/5): Stay, location,clean,host five stars - We had been in jodhpur serval times and that's the coolest place we have stayed at in Jodhpur. A ultra central boutique hotel ( good thing is... it's not crazily expensive.. great money value ).The location cannot be beat very easy to explore on your feet. The room was spacious tastefully decorated and have unique original features. The staff were exceptionally good. A must try food just amazing delicious food and the best view of the fort and town specially at night. Overall it was great thanks for having us and made our stay rated as unforgettable.
• Ajandhan (7/5): Location is great, guesthouse is fine, some more attention to detail would be great - The Kesar Heritage Guesthouse is located just next to the famous fort and you are just in the characteristic blue alleys of Jodhpur. There is a rooftoop restaurant which offers a nice view. The staff is very helpful and offer you some services like money exchange or laundry. During my stay there I had a bit of bad luck, as there was no water supply in my room (shower, water tap not working). The staff luckily offered me another room. The water tap dripped constantly, which can be disturbing if you want to sleep. Compared to other guesthouses the bathroom amenities fell a bit short (e.g. only 1 towel) and you had to ask for it.

The rooms are extraordinary, Lovely !! Irrespective of being in the heart of the blue city...it was peaceful! And aside from the city traffic. The service the ambience the food was superb!! The rooftop restaurant with the view was spectacular,the food was also yummy! Specially their traditional collection is just mouth watering in taste. Recommended to explore blue town easily and for a great home stay experience.

Rooms were well decor and finely clean,beds were comfy too so no problem for a good sleep. Owner and host family very welcoming and helpful will always be ready to help for all of their guests. For just to laugh once we said the owner that we are not happy with your place and all becomes stand up then we says Relax ... Just kidding :) :) :) this shows us how they really look after their guests. On the top of that the food on the roof top is fantastic and a great view. A beautiful stay ever in our trip.

Didn't found anything that we didn't like here even all jodhpur was super but only a alert that while taking tuk tuk from train station just remember tuk tuk might be try to divert you by saying negative things about the place but at last we get knew tuk tuk will not get any commission from the hotel for taking you from train station to here.

The owner and staff are very kind and welcoming. Most impressive was that you immediately feel like at home. Our room had spotless clean good light and had a little balcony too clean bathroom filled with toiletries and hot water The roof is beautiful, very chill, with comfortable sitting food was delicious, breakfast was super had not only Indian options but also another ones too. Really recommended kesar for it's hospitality services and welcoming host. It is inside a side alley you have to make a few steps walk to reach to the guest house for us it was not a problem but it need to be known....

As its a homestay, it has steep stairs which can be issue with for those with limited mobility. Also, you wont get toiletries like in hotels. I will recommend to not book breakfast instead have Ala-carte if you like the menu and taste.
