Guest Reviews
- O6546VRalices (8/5): Cobblestone doing “okay.” - Linen was clean and soft! Room very clean. Front desk people were friendly and helpful. However, breakfast was not monitored and coffee had lots of grounds. Orange juice was watery. Display plastic for muffins and warm dishes need to be cleaned of dirty fingers. Not usual —since every other visit, breakfast area has been super welcoming. But still a great hotel
- Borges (9/5): - The room was clean, really good breakfast Pretty nice place for the price
- Tim (5/5): - breakfast was great. nothing
- P6162ECtravisj (6/5): Nice room and affordable rates - Rooms are nice, they are pet friendly and have plenty of room for you and your pet to go for a walk or play in the yard. Staff is extremely friendly and it met my needs for the evening.
- Sightseer779040 (6/5): Overall adequate hotel for hunting - This is our 3rd time staying here for pheasant hunting over the years. It is a perfectly adequate place to stay while hunting. We booked online and booked early to get a better deal. For only $10 more per night we could get the "suite" so we did that. They are also pet friendly which is a huge plus for your dogs/hunting dogs. It is $25/dog/night. There is a grassy area to the side and back of the hotel for walking your dogs and they even have some poop bags if you need. The parking lot isn't huge, but if needed there is large gravel truck parking around back. They also have a pheasant cleaning shed set up on the side of the hotel which is a nice touch. The woman checking us in was very friendly and helpful. There are no elevators, just stairs, but there are only 2 floors. In the lobby they have coffee and tea out all day. Just note the lobby coffee goes quick in the morning! It is the same coffee that comes with your own coffee maker in your room as well. They do have included breakfast each morning. It starts at 6am M-F, but on the weekends it doesn't start until 7am. For a normal hotel this is normal. For a hunting hotel, most people are hunting on the weekends and 7am is too late for the start they have in the morning. Consider changing the hours during hunting season to be more accommodating. The breakfast is very basic. They had breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, bagels, bread, coffee/tea/hot cocoa, and some pre packaged pastries such as doughnuts and cinnamon strudel. Overall the hotel is a little worn and need of some maintenance. There were cracked tiles, worn furniture, worn bed, scratchy sheets and pillow cases, flat pillows, thin toilet paper, dents and scuffs on walls, ceilings, and furniture. The TV and DirecTV remotes only partially worked and some buttons were not working. The plumbing fixtures in the shower were loose. The shower did come with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but we did not use it. So you are paying for a motel and that is what you are getting here so set up your expectations accordingly. Like there is no housekeeping unless you are staying more than 4 nights or you specifically request it. At least the doors to your room are on the inside of the building. We had booked a normal room and also a suite. The normal room had a mini fridge, and a small coffee maker, a desk and chair. There is an iron and ironing board in the open closet, luggage/duffle rack. There are a few restaurants nearby that we like such as happy jacks BBQ, but they were on holiday break when we were there along with every other restaurant except for subway and the Frog and Horse brewpub. The hotel does have a small bar/food thing in the breakfast area where you can order food including pizzas, but we didn't try it. We just did Frog and Horse both nights which was good but expensive. For the price you pay here you get a room to sleep before your hunting days which is great. Keep reading on for a review of the "suite". This means that there is a separate door for the bed/bedroom, and then the main room is like the living room and kitchenette. There is a full size fridge and freezer which is the biggest plus to this room. There is also a pull out couch, two chairs, a coffee table, and an extra TV to make up some more living space. The furniture was super worn and the couch was super squeaky. There is a small electric stovetop, but it only came with one tiny small saucepot. There is a dishwasher but not dishwasher soap. There is a sink with dish soap and a sponge. There was a 3/4 used roll of paper towels. One large trash can and two small trash cans with no extra bags. The rest of the kitchen supplies consisted of 2 ceramic mugs, 2 drinking glasses, 2 wine glasses, 2 bowls, 2 small plates, one large plate, a toaster, an ice bucket, 1 fork, 1 spoon, 2 butter knives, 2 cutting knives, one small cutting board, oven mit (but no oven), all the measuring spoons, one tongs, one rubber spatula, one serving spoon, one slotted spoon, one whisk, a can opener, a wine opener, one large mixing bowl, one small mixing bowl, one strainer. So a "suite" with one fork and one tiny sauce pot for the electric stovetop? Come on. So I was NOT impressed with the stocking of the kitchenette. But really we liked the living room for extra space for the dog, and for eating takeout. We also like the full size fridge for our lunch supplies and pheasants and drinks.
- Alejandro (9/5): Perfect - The room was big and comfortable.
- robertvW5924OP (10/5): November Trip - Friendly staff. Breakfast and coffee were done early to support everyone’s hunting schedule. Our hunting group goes every year.
- Charles (6/5): - The staff was very sweet and hard working. As far as the room. The lamp and clock next to the bed didnt work. No problem. But, the bed. That mattress has got to be at least 20 years old. It was like sleeping in a bowl. Very creeky as well. Kinda grossed me out. I dont know who is the maintenence person. But they REALLY need to do better. Especially for the price we paid per night. I would have greatly appreciated a decent bed.
- elizebeth (6/5): - Although the sheets were clean the room was not.
The free breakfast was not edible.
The fact that they did NOT have an elevator needs to be made abundantly clear at booking and on your site. Elderly or impaired people would have difficulty.
- 158curtp (10/5): Business Trip - Very nice place. The rooms are very clean and the beds are extremly comfortable. I would highly recomend staying here. Vonda was very helpful.
- Robert (10/5): - Very nice hotel …enjoyed my stay …clean, comfortable, good food .
- Kasey (10/5): Nice quiet place to stay! Everything we needed was either at the hotel, or very close by - small town feel! People at the hotel and in the area were really nice! N/A
- Dennis (10/5): -
- 2224KD (10/5): Great atmosphere and friendly service - Quiet and comfortable rooms. The staff was readily available to care for all our needs, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Definitely will visit again when we're in the area.
- Kristi (10/5): Small-town comfort and friendliness - We really enjoyed our stay here, and the staff is awesome! They all definitely wear several hats: check-in, housekeeping, cook, etc. The room was clean and comfortable. We’d stay here again!
- 1955lincoln (10/5): you actually get what you pay for. - Efficient, clean room. Great happy hour and good breakfast. The manager made sure everyone was getting what they wanted.
- 282haroldb (10/5): Bubba - Great staff to facilitate 130 odd family members. Hotel has become dated with maintenance problems and electronic updates, but still a great place to stay..
- Bradley (4/5): - I was at this hotel for a family reunion. I booked an accessible room and was put on the second floor. I checked in and was told they had no accessible rooms available as they were fully booked. The first room I was given was still occupied. The staff spent close to half an hour on the phone with the manager before finally finding me a room. The clerk said they always have issues with Expedia not giving them all of the details about which type of room is booked. Since it is one of the only choices in the town for a room, I guess I am stuck either traveling 50 miles or staying at the hotel again.
- T4525QLbobh (10/5): A good clean place to stay. - The staff was friendly, the room was clean and well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. I slept well and had a good breakfast the next morning.
- H9906VAlouisab (10/5): Excellent Service - Staff were friendly. The room was clean and exactly what we reserved. No room for improvement. Excellent all the way around.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay! - Super friendly staff, clean room and tasty breakfast.
- Ron (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Ashley (9/5): Superb -
- BrianB811 (8/5): Good stay but Pricey - The stay was comfortable and staff was very friendly. We were a little disappointed in the room as one of the shower products ran out in our single night stay. We also feel the cost per night was high and none competitive. We will look into other hotels our next time visiting Holyoke.
- juliehV9259LN (10/5): Great! - It was a great stay! I got a handicapped accessible room for my mom who is in a wheelchair, and the room was great. We didn't get breakfast, but it looked good, Easy to park, easy to enter, and they had a nice little "trolley" to take our luggage in.
- Shawn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ron (10/5): - I have stayed at the Holyoke Cobblestone many times and always look forward to my next stay . The staff is great and the hotel is always clean.
- H2018EUnancyl (6/5): Last year was better - Very clean and exceptionally friendly staff. Rooms got made up promptly. However, my husband’s mattress had broken down and he needed to sleep diagonally every night so he wouldn't fall out of bed. That should have been noticed by the maid when the bed was made before our arrival. The breakfasts last year were much better.
- K4537QQrobertl (10/5): Very nice place to stay - This is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed there for a few weeks now for work and have no bad things to say about this place. If your ever in Holyoke Colorado stop in and get a room . They have a nice little bar inside and a firepit outside.
- John (10/5): - Mark at the front desk made this trip so much more enjoyable. The hotel was almost completely booked and he made it happen so we could spend one more night in town. We were amazed with how clean the entire hotel was and felt so comfortable!
- Valerie (10/5): - It was an enjoyable stay. Checked in and front desk employee very helpful and very nice.
- Londa719 (10/5): Great experience - Great hotel Mark at front desk had great customer service skills and was very helpful . The bed was comfortable and the overall room was great size. I wish the bar would say open a little bit later, this is a small town not much to do would've been nice to stay a little longer.
- allishar2025 (10/5): Excellent Visit - The service is outstanding. Great small town hospitality, lounge area was very nice, room was clean and comfortable. Holyoke, CO is a beautiful town with great people and excellent opportunities. The hotel was very accommodating. Excellent.
- Chris (10/5): - …
- C2850MOsarahs (10/5): Consistently good! - The hotel is always clean, the breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable and the staff are always kind and helpful. I have never had a bad experience staying here, and have stayed multiple times. We always choose Cobblestone for our Holyoke stays!
- Douglas C (10/5): Great place around to stay in my opinion. - I have stayed several times over the years and I love this place. Given it's rural location it's a diamond in the rough. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are probably the best "hotel free-breakfasts" I've come across in all my travels over the last 10 years. The only downside is the trucks that use engine breaking to slow down as they come into town. I do like the proximity to the Family Dollar Store next to the hotel.
- noahi920 (10/5): the best hotel stay i've ever had tbh - the pillows were firm and absolutely amazing to sleep on, and the crew is super friendly.
plenty of food choices for everyone and the bar selection is fantastic.
very quiet place to rest, and during my stay it snowed and they very kindly offered me an extended checkout to try and avoid the snow
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was very friendly. Bar food was good. Room was clean. Bed comfy, but hard pillows.
- kirstij2025 (10/5): Great - Breakfast was great with lots of options easy check in and check out had coin laundry that was easy to use fair rates clean rooms friendly staff the store is walking distance away pet friendly comfortable beds definitely small town feel
Limited tv
- Christian (10/5): - Nice clean property and pet friendly
- Chris (9/5): Second time staying at the Cobblestone Inn. Very comfortable beds, property is well kept. - Did not eat the breakfast. First room had a broken bed.
- Ron (10/5): - Great stay , looking to stay again.
- Dream05467890502 (10/5): Top Notch Staff - Fantastic staff in every way! Friendly, helpful, and hard working! It is a pleasure to stay here. The lounge and 24 hour internal convenience store are great on site amenities, and a nice hot breakfast is waiting for you in the morning as well.
- Roger (10/5): - Clean facility and awesome beds.
- Teresa (10/5): - We were traveling with a dog, so I requested to be on 1st floor. I was given a great 1st floor room near an exit. After settling in, I received a call from front desk asking if my room was comfortable. Great customer service! Nice touch. Breakfast was good! My husband enjoyed waffles and the sausage was good. It was a great place to stop for the night.
- Matt (4/5): Room not cleaned between guests - When we entered our hotel room, the bed sheets had not been changed to new/clean sheets, the toilet had stains in it like it had been recently used and not cleaned, and the tables were dirty with grease marks. The staff was very nice and gave us new sheets so we could remake our own bed, but definitely not a clean room.
- denicem337 (10/5): Quaint and comfortable - We have stayed 4 times now at Cobblestone Inns in various towns. We had a clean room and a comfortable bed, and this was also a quiet hotel. We got a great nights sleep and the staff was friendly! After we checked in and got settled we even received a call from the front desk asking if we needed anything else to make our stay better.
- Teressa (10/5): - Very nice clean new hotel.
- blancan574 (10/5): Amazing Hotel - Always the staff are amazing, hotel always clean and safety.
Bathroom is my favorite space always clean same like my bed and banquets... breakfast always delicious and fresh everything is nice and pleasant.
I recommend 100 💯
I just love it
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- thecoleb (2/5): The manager does not understand how customers service works. - After saying at the hotel for over a week we asked to add another day and were told “It doesn’t seem like y’all have the funds to pay for the hotel” -hotel manager. This is not how any customer should be treated especially by someone who runs the hotel. Her main job is customer service and she is clearly uneducated in that area.
- Ron (10/5): - I have stayed there many times and have always been pleased. That why I would recommend staying at the Cobblestone Inn Holyoke.
- Alesa (8/5): Very good - comfortable for our one night stay no elevator. tough dragging luggage upstairs
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Joseph (10/5): Nice place. A bit pricey but really no other options in the area. - Nice location and staff was great and room was clean. A bit pricey.
- Ian (10/5): A great place to stay - Nice location in a lovely small town All was fine and worth the money
- Karsten (9/5): Superb -
- Q6752XUlynna (10/5): Excellent stay - Very nice, clean, quiet, super comfy suite. Fully equipped kitchenette, clean appliances. Even a dishwasher! All the staff we had contact with were super friendly, and attentive. Access from the freeway was easy. Very nice park across the road too. Breakfast was the standard continental.
- Lynn (10/5): - Very nice, clean, quiet place the suite was awesome, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you!
- jillsK9477LJ (10/5): Comfy Cozy Like Home! - When we come to visit our son's family we stay at the Cobblestone and it is always a pleasure! The staff is always the friendliest and helpful!! We love that the facility is clean and cozy comfortable! We enjoy that you are open to our kids and grandkids coming to the Inn to set on the patio or in the lounge and visit with us. It is very convenient where it is located, just steps away from the park where we can play with the grandkids and restaurants are just down the street.
Wonderful little town!!! Thanks for being our go to place to stay! Just wish you all had more locations between MO & CO. 😁
- Tim (8/5): The place to stay in Holyoke. - Very clean, comfortable stay, quiet, hot breakfast.
- John (8/5): Desiree in the front desk was wonderful, thank you! - Nice staff
- Bonnie (10/5): - Nice property. Great breakfast. Glad we stayed.
- Jennifer (10/5): 2 nights in Holyoke ,Colorado - Great disability suite.. I thought it was a great deal on such a large 3 room suite that was fully stocked with dishes and cookware . It was a fully functional kitchen.. The overhead ventilation fan above range was not working. So when cooking some chicken, it caused smoke detector to go off.. and kitchen light was also on the fritz. Just needs to be replaced ..
- Max (10/5): - The best hotel experience for us. Excellent staff, extremely clean, great breakfast, dog friendly with all the amenities you can think of. Highly recommend
- Gwendolyn (10/5): Exceptional -

- 224douglasr (10/5): A Hidden Gem In Holyoke, CO - We had a great time staying here in Holyoke for Dandelion Daze. The breakfast area was clean and fresh. Good choices for food.
The bar and restaurant in the evening was really a pleasure for drinks and the food choices. Very tasty and we were well taken care of.
Douglas and Debra
- craig (4/5): - The cable TV was out and their computer system was going to be down the following day, so no receipts. The manager was very nice and waived all cancellation fees. We stayed elsewhere.
- Michael (8/5): - Was ok but got bit by spiders in the room
- Penny (10/5): - Clean and comfortable
- A5573ORsarad (10/5): Clean, safe and very welcoming! - This hotel was so wonderful! Immaculate rooms and public areas, super friendly front desk staff, and we went for the upgrade of the King Suite which basically had a kitchen and all we could ever need to total comfort.
The ladies working the breakfast area were awesome too. They were friendly and so hard working. The food was better than we expected--with really good hot and cold options .
I can't say enough about this place--so choose to stay here for sure. You won't be disappointed. It's basically perfect!
- Maxwell (10/5): Exceptional - Everything - room, staff, coffee Price
- Deuel558 (10/5): Comfortable stay - Everything was clean and comfortable. The only issue was low water, pressure and shower. Not a terrible thing at all. Breakfast was typical. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice spacious rooms
- Gregory (6/5): - Cold Water in the Shower. It never did get warm. Also, satellite TV was not working. I know it wasn't their fault on the TV, but water should alway be hot when you need it to be hot.
- staphiet (10/5): Very clean, comfortable place to stay! - We were visiting family and needed a pkace to stay. Very comfortable, clean rooms. Wonderful linens and toiletries. Good hot breakfast. Highly recommend staying here. Friendly staff. Quick and easy chexk in. We will stay here again when we pass through again!
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (10/5): - Good check in experience clean room
- Tim (10/5): - All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. I haven't stayed in such a clean hotel in a long time, and I generally choose from this price class of hotel. The breakfast area was clean, neatly stocked, every table and counter wiped off, trash not overfilled, etc. I rarely write any reviews, especially for hotels, but this one genuinely impressed me.
- Doris (10/5): Lovely hotel and town! - We have stayed here before and liked enough to come back--small town area--very clean and spacious room, nice amenities-- it's a stop over on a longer trip into CO-- Happy Jacks (small BBQ place in Holyoke) has good BBQ for supper-- we really liked the hotel a couple years ago and came back again--drove out of our way by about 30 miles to get there even. Rate at this hotel was VERY reasonable for the room that we had!
- Michael (10/5): - friendly staff quiet hotel
- Kathie (9/5): Superb - Had a soft chair to sit in, not just a desk chair There was hair in the tub and on the shower curtain. And I think that the breakfast could have been better
- mtrinko (10/5): The leadership of this hotel is the reason that it is such a success - When I first met the first employee upon checking in I was very surprised and warm they were and I was especially excited about not only breakfast but a lounge with dinner in the evening and so I went there and the bartender was very friendly and capable so I went back the second night and it was being staffed by the manager and now I understand why morale is so high amongst the employees because she's the best manager I've ever seen I would like to steal her for my business
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent hotel! Staff was friendly and attentive. The hot breakfast was a lot more that you would expect in a small-town hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
- Susan (10/5): - Very quiet place to spend Easter on our way to Texas ..
- ROSA (10/5): - This property was farther from the highway then I expected but it was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast bar had a good variety of food.
- Edmund (10/5): Holyoke - Have never had a bad stay at a Cobblestone and this was no exception. Clean, quiet and comfortable.
- Daniel (8/5): All you need - Nothing special but everything you need, and good people.
- Jenny (8/5): - The staff was super friendly and accommodating! The continental breakfast was super!
