Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast above expectations (freshly squeezed OJ? Yes please!) and for families they have adjoining rooms that have a separate 'front door' to give you peace and security.

Aspects of the room maintenance was lacking, such as the curtain rod being partially ripped out of the room. I would not recommend a stay here until more care for the rooms maintenance is provided. Cleaning staff were good and timely throughout our stay and reception staff were very friendly. We also had issues with our keycard not working multiple nights in a row.

• George (10/5): - We had a great stay at Les Plumes. We had a small double with a terrace. The room itself was small but if you are going for a short stay it will be perfect. The lady at the reception desk although we didn’t catch her name was so friendly and helpful. She helped us get a reservation for a restaurant that was fully booked. They let us store our bags prior to check in and after check out. Very close to the metro. Highly recommend

The room we had was quirky and fun in decoration but the circular mattress on the bed was slightly too big for the circular base so you would wobble slightly when sitting on the edge of the bed. Using the shower over the bath was a bit challenging without a mounting to hold the shower - the floor got very wet

• Seet Wai (10/5): - The staffs has been super accommodating and helpful. A shout to Julia who has been very responsive and supportive throughout our stay in the hotel. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Paris and is super convenient to walk to all famous attractions in Paris. We booked 2 connecting rooms and they fit just well for our family of four. Will definitely stay here again should I be visiting Paris again.

As we were jet lagged from traveling from a country with a 6-hour time difference, we wanted our rest !! The staff respected our desire for privacy and did not disrupt us unnecessary for towels or access to the room.

What really stood out, though, was the staff, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any requests. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay!

• nina (6/5): Avoid, much better hotels elsewhere - No water in the room, then only offered 1 bottle when we asked for some. The bar is just a few seats and a machine. The Room was next to the lift that squeaked all night. Noisy street that had bins emptied at 6am. The Maid left the balcony doors open and room was absolutely freezing when we arrived back late. They had no heater to give us. Lift, WiFi and TV channels went off in the last morning. Wouldn’t stay again. Avoid

• Dimitris (10/5): - Overall this was a great stay. With the exception of the bathroom fan not working and humidity would just get trapped in the room. This was brought up but nothing was done about it. We were also told we’d be getting brand new coffee machines in every room and for some reason ours was skipped and used the old one. Another issue was toilet paper; 1 roll for two people per day. I always found myself asking stuff for some. These are just details but it’s all in the details I suppose. Other than that, this was a great area, staff was kind and the rooms were comfortable.
• dmitry (10/5): - A delightful little hotel. Lovely rooms. if somewhat small by US standards, buy hey, this is not Topeka. Working elevator. Convenient (20min or so) walking distance to all that touristy stuff in Paris, but it's not exactly in the middle of the Louvre, so if walking is not your cup of espresso, the nearby Metro station is a half-a-block away.

• Adrian (8/5): - Lovely clean hotel in the quiet backstreets - it was fairly easy to find. I walked with a suitcase from Gare du Nord but Cadet station is only a 2 minute walk if you prefer. The room had everything needed including toiletries (standard these days), fridge, iron and excellent air conditioning. The only let-down for me was the noise. The rooms/doors are quite thin and I could hear everything outside the room. From the squeaky elevator every time it moved; people talking in the adjacent room and those walking to and from the stairways late at night. Everything else was perfect: just the late-night internal noise for me.

• Verified traveler (4/5): The room smels bad - The hole room smels bad (maybe a pipes problem), and the first night the bed sheets smelled really bad (humidity). That smell stayed in the bed even after cleaning lady changed them. The cleaning ladies are really noisy in the morning.

The staff that work in the evening stays inside theri little room, so anybody can access the hotel without them noticing, that felt a little unsafe. The hotel is in avery nice location.

• Graham (10/5): Lovely boutique style hotel - This hotel is only 12 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. Close to the metro and bus top and about 18-20 minutes from the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Very clean and comfortable boutique style hotel. Staff lovely.
• NELSON (6/5): - Overall, we were not impressed with the property. The pictures are a bit misleading making the hotel look much better than it currently is. The hotel is dark, old/outdated, and not super clean. We had adjacent rooms which were typical size for Paris but looked old like the rest of the hotel. The bathrooms seemed updated and the showers were great. The property is located really close to a metro station but the area, and specifically the street the hotel is on is not the most welcoming. We would not call it unsafe but it's not an area in which we liked walking around at night. The listing states laundry facilities, but this is not accurate. They offer laundry service by talking it to a close by laundry/dry cleaner. If this is something important (as it was for us) we would suggest dropping the laundry at the dry cleaner yourself. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were all very courteous and helpful, answering all of our questions and providing recommendations and guidance. For a 4 start hotel and the price paid, not worth it. We would not come back to this hotel.

Nice neighborhood which is conveniently located near metro and in a more calm area, but still short walk to all tourist attractions. Definitely recommend adding on breakfast as it was very good and convenient.
• John (10/5): Very comfortable stay - Great service. We were upgraded to a better room, which was brilliant! Comfy bed, great shower and good sized room for Paris. Good location. Walking distance to Gare du Nord, and plenty of shops, bakeries, cafes, bistros etc nearby.
• Sue (8/5): Great spot - Nice little hotel in a quiet part of the city but within 3 minutes you’re in the middle of a busy lovely district. Plenty of decent food places to eat with a wide variety. Not overly expensive. Breakfast not the best we’ve had but certainly not the worst, it was sufficient. Classic rooms not very big but once adjusted and found a place for everything it was certainly more than adequate. Staff very friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgable. Looking back I think we would stay here again but perhaps upgrade to a slightly bigger room

Room had a safe which is important as pickpockets are prevalent in Paris. I would haven 5 stars but there was a construction site across the street during the day which was very noisy. We politely requested for them to be changed, and either they were not, or all of their linens have that distinct odor. We purchased a spray disinfectant, but it still made the accommodations a bit uncomfortable.

• Colin (10/5): - This is a good hotel for Eurostar. Just a 10-15min walk from Gare du Nord. Good walking access to central Paris. I paid extra for a bigger room on the top floor. In June/July the air con was a must. I had a lovely large bath tub. But no separate shower which would bother some, but not me. I’m not a big fan of the pump soap as opposed to individual bars of soap and bottles of shampoo. This is France! Shouldn’t we be getting some good soap for a nicer hotel? Staff were extremely helpful and easy to work with in English. Thought the staff were the best bit.

This boutique hotel is very small lobby area is very small and location is close to everything but not pleasant areas and they didn’t have the best clientele the best during our stay, and their adjacent rooms not connecting for families with kids. their staff are nice people and helpful but overall this place cannot be our choice for our next trip to Paris.

• Verified traveler (8/5): The quality of rooms varies - We had booked 2 adjoining rooms for 4 people for 4 nights and were disappointed as we did not get adjoining rooms. At least they were on the same floor. Our friends were in room 101 and we were in room 103. Room 101 was nicer and more practical. Room 103 was very wheelchair friendly. We did not need that feature, but we applauded the principle. The room was OK in size but lacking in storage space. The room had a tiny French balcony. The bathroom was big but not practical: There was very little in storage space. The shower area was half open. That meant that when showering the water spread all over the bathroom floor. Room 101 had a good amount of storage space. The French balcony was a bit bigger, the bathroom was a practical one as it had a proper shower cubicle. There were colour changing lights in the bathroom. The toiletries were by Fragonard. The rooms had a wooden floor. They had a mini-fridge but no kettle. The ladies at the reception were friendly, the African French young man we once spoke with was a bit arrogant. The breakfast room was small and the breakfast buffet was tiny but good with high quality ingredients and it was replenished regularly. Also the choice available was good. Would we stay there again? Not sure. Room 103 (or 203, 303, 403 or 503 as apparently all the floors have the same layout) is good enough for a 1 night's stay, but not for more. Room 101 or an equivalent one on a different floor is fine for several nights.
• Xinyan (10/5): - Very clean and friendly staff. The rooms are uncomfortablely small but this might be common for Paris. It is a bit far from attractions.
• NICOLE (10/5): - Lovely hotel! Excellent breakfast and exceptionally helpful staff. Rooms were small, even by Parisian standards, but more than adequate. We were in a bind and booked the rooms just minutes before checking in, otherwise we probably wouldn’t have stayed because they were so pricey.

• Allison (10/5): Hidden gem - Small boutique hotel with authentic atmosphere and amazing staff. Its convenient location makes it easy to walk to so many points of interest in Paris. Staff at the reception and breakfast waiter really make a difference. We got a nice email from the property about a week before our check in asking us about our plans and offering us more information, which was a nice touch. All in all, highly recommend and look forward to staying there again.

• Jemma (10/5): Our 1st overnight Paris stay - This was our 1sr overnight stay in Paris & Hotel Les Plumes certainly didn't disappoint. I was able to check-in online before arrival, we we're also able to check-in early with no extra cost. When we first arrived we we're grreeted by a very friendly guy on the desk. Our room was on the 5th floor, absolutely great, the theme of the hotel & rooms is really nice. We had a fridge on the room, complementary water & was told tea/coffee was all complimentary too. Couldn't fault our time here, when we checked out they kept our luggage for the day. We will definitely be returning 😍 so happy with our stay!!

The breakfast served was great with a lot of choices and fresh products. I wish I had one or two more towel. I had to ask the first day for more but they were gone after cleaning and got lazy to ask again the next day. The immediate surrounding of the hotel was not very nice unfortunately. When leaving the hotel, go to your left and down to avoid burned trash, homeless people, ...
• yaron (10/5): Nice, clean and pleasant hotel. - A small pleasant hotel. Very nice front desk guys. Room was small, but not tiny and it was clean. We had enough space to have one suitcase open on the floor. There is also a closet with a small fridge, a safe, several shelves and hanging space. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked fine. Did not have breakfast at the hotel, many other options around. There's a great patisserie 50 meters away. Don't take the transportation they order at the reception to get to the airport. An official taxi is cheaper (you can order using the G7 app)

Les Plumes is located in the 9th arrondissement - an area of the city with an ever increasing and well deserved reputation for its great restaurant scene. The rooms were lovely - in the style of a boutique hotel. And the staff were truly terrific- helpful, attentive and friendly. All for a price lower than what you would get at a brand location. Will definitely return next time in Paris

• Megan (10/5): Great, thoughtful stay! - Really great, thoughtful stay. Franck helped check us in and he was super attentive and helpful. He helped us to make a restaurant reservation, showed us a map of the city, and even gave our dog a little treat. The room was clean and cute, and the shower was spacious (which isn't always the case in Europe). Also, the location of the hotel is great - very walkable and convenient.

• D (8/5): - The room was very small and dark. They had a number of light fixtures but it was very dark even with all the lights on. The only plus was that we were in a top floor room so we had a skylight with a shade that would let a lot of daylight in. It was also very warm and we could not get the AC to kick on, but we had a window we could open for some relief. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was what you would expect for a small hotel without a full kitchen.

Downsides include that the a/c "can't be adjusted during winter" meaning that rooms are 80 degrees or slightly cooler. Luckily we had windows, which were open most of the time due to the heat, but the nights were miserable. Aside from the construction at 8 am, strange smell from restroom (plumbing?), strangers trying to get into our room/our card being deactivated, and an extra $30 euro charge at checkout for "city taxes," everything else was okay. Would not stay again, would not recommend.

• Sonia (10/5): Great stay at Les Plumes - Great hotel, lots of character and charm. I was here on business but my stay at Les Plumes made me feel like I had a little break as well. Metro is 2 mins away and easily accessible to lots of lovely areas nearby. Would really recommend this hotel.

• Nitoga (4/5): - On arrival got two nice but small rooms. Coming back in the evening one of the rooms was full of glass pieces from the shower door what has exploded. We got an other room which was even smaller. During the night when the air on is off the smell from the bathroom is vile. You have to keep the door closed and when you need to go you have to take a deep breath before you enter. Telling this to the staff brought on total denial and not even an apology. Otherwise the hotel is nice but not in a very desirable location. I mean the location is great 15 mins walk to the Opera or Gare du Nord but the type of people hanging around make you think twice walking home late at night.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - Came in late at night and was greeted with friendly, kind hosts. everything was as described or even better. small, quaint, well appointed rooms, that were super comfortable and really nice bathrooms, great showers !!. breakfast was plentiful and yummy. everything was great. wish we had stayed more nights there.

• PhilWhite (10/5): - Great hotel, good location with restaurants close by and Cadet metro station 1 minute away. Staff helpful, polite and professional. Rooms clean with adequate facility’s, price is expensive, however it’s what you expect in Paris. Would recommend to family and friends.
