We showed up early for check in and asked if we could be charged half day for early check in but were told we would have to pay the full rate for an extra day. Then the rate quoted was even more expensive than what we had booked. The front desk lady was not friendly at all. Breakfast the first day was lack lustre with super runny scrambled eggs. Second day the breakfast was much better.

Guilliana (6/5): Experiencia deficiente en recepción y gestión de beneficios IHG One Rewards - Es un hotel normal , pero nada que destacar Mi estancia se vio empañada por la deficiente atención del personal de recepción durante el check-out el viernes 20 de marzo a la 1:50 pm. A pesar de haber solicitado desde el momento de la reserva que la factura se emitiera a nombre de mi empresa, el requerimiento fue ignorado. Al intentar solucionar esto, el trato recibido por los dos encargados fue descortés y poco profesional. Adicionalmente, no se acreditaron los puntos correspondientes a mis dos noches de estancia. Se me informó erróneamente que las reservas a través de canales externos no sumaban puntos, lo cual contradice mi experiencia recurrente en otros hoteles de la cadena IHG en Colombia. Solicito una revisión de este caso y la correcta acreditación de mis beneficios como miembro.

Allen (10/5): In my 12 day trip this was the best facility I found for the money. It will be on my list next time - Check in personnel were pleasant, though some delay occurred, perhaps unavoidable. Facility is very clean and modern. The room was well furnished, clean, great bathroom and spacious enough. The restaurant had good variety at a fair price. The sancocho was delicious. Servers are pleasant. Check in was a bit slow, but there are plenty of seats in a very large lobby.

El desayuno muy completo, delicioso todo. La ubicación es excelente, por eso lo escogí, una zona muy tranquila, segura. Nuestro plan era buscar un hotel donde pudiéramos descansar luego de que llegáramos de recorrer distintas zonas de la ciudad como el Canal, el Causeway, la cinta costera, los Malls, y desde la ubicación del hotel pudimos hacerlo usando taxis, bus y metro.

No me gustó que en el desayuno no podes servirte tu bebida caliente y tenes que esperar que venga alguien a servirte. Ya tenia la comida en un plato pero no podía acompañarla con té o café y cuando llamé a un camarero se rió y se fue, muy desagradable. Luego vino una chica también riéndose, como si me hubiesen hecho una broma que solo fue divertida para ellos... muy desagradable.

I have traveled to 45 countries and have never experienced worse service at a reception desk. In particular, the lady named “Daisy” behaved very unprofessionally. After a long journey, I arrived at the hotel and she attempted to charge me $20 more per night than the rate stated in my Booking.com confirmation. She said she needed to check it, but while I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes — exhausted from traveling — she was chatting with her colleagues. After I showed her multiple confirmations and insisted on the correct rate, she finally admitted I was right and charged me the proper amount. I also asked if I could use the stairs instead of the elevator because I am claustrophobic. She told me it was not possible and showed no concern. However, when I asked another staff member, they assisted me without any issue, and it turned out that using the stairs was indeed possible. The room itself was old and poorly maintained. There was mold all over the AC vent and in the bathroom. The smell in both the room and the corridor was unpleasant. I would never return to this hotel.

Les vigiles, le personnel en changer de l’accueil, du café, du ménage, tous m’ont porté un soutien pendant ces jours compliqués. Les installations commencent à devenir un peu vétustes, la proximité à la mer n’aide pas mais le prix reste très raisonnable.
