- Eléna (10/5): Un havre de paix comme nous les aimons… - Tout était parfait. Très bel endroit au calme dans un bel espace . Les suites sont superbes, décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Caroline a été très accueillante, très professionnelle et attentionnée pour faire en sorte que notre séjour soit idéal. L’attente entre les plats au restaurant du soir était trop longue sachant qu’en plus il y avait mon petit-fils de 6 ans avec nous. La carte des cocktails était trop succincte.

- Thomas (10/5): kleinschalig topadresje met oog voor detail ! - De hele lokatie en site was perfect ingericht en georganiseerd met aandacht voor de kleinste details: de beplanting, de chill-hoekjes, de kamer (eindelijk een gemakkelijk bedienbaar domotica systeem !!!!), de kunstwerken in de tuin,... Fantastische keuken en bijzonder gastvrije ontvangst, zonder opdringend te zijn. Een oase van rust.

Beautiful gardens with a real sense of calm, spacious and stylish accommodation. Perfect place to recharge batteries. The only thing that would have made it better is for the lounge chair covers to be out and for the pool to be usable (neither were ready due to the time of year but the weather was lovely). I think a couple of hotel cats would make a lovely addition :-)
- Neil (9/5): - We recently stayed at Hotel Toile Blanche for five nights in February (off-season), and overall it was a wonderful experience. The accommodations were excellent, stylish, thoughtfully designed, and immaculately clean. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and clearly curated with great attention to detail. Even in the quieter season, everything felt well maintained and carefully presented. The restaurant was exceptional and we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced it was given the quality. The menu was creative and refined, and the wine selection was obviously carefully chosen, excellent with many reasonably priced options. As expected in February, some amenities were limited. The smaller restaurant and bar were closed, and the pools were not heated. That was understandable given the time of year. That said, we would absolutely recommend staying at Hotel Toile Blanche, and definitely try dining at the restaurant. Just be aware that if you visit during the off-season, guest services are quite limited, so it helps to be prepared to be somewhat self sufficient after check in. Overall, a beautiful, stylish retreat with outstanding dining, we would happily return, and likely will. Our only (minor) complaint was the limited guest services once checked in. There is no phone in the room, so the only way to reach someone is to go and physically find a staff member or call the main number from your mobile phone. Unfortunately, the mobile network signal for our overseas phone was quite weak and intermittent. On several occasions, when we called the main number, it was not answered. Additionally, the Wi-Fi in our room (B2) was somewhat unstable, and particularly earlier in the day was unusable.

La suite « le bon vivant » très spacieuse et d’une décoration épurée, zen avec une belle terrasse donnant sur la piscine. Lit grand & très confortable. Grande douche et grande baignoire. Une bonne table au restaurant avec un bon service.

- Marwa (9/5): It was a memorable and magical experience. I will remember it forever. One for the books - The location is perfect for moving around South of France, and easy to get to. We loved the staff and the personalization of the staff. The dinner food was ok, the room was cold so we would have appreciated a bathroom heater or a hot water bottle of some sort, but we managed.

- Sophie (10/5): Stunning Hotel - I loved the aesthetic of the Hotel. There were some slight hiccups with our stay but they were addressed and dealt with amazingly. Incredible family run business and I will be back! Only thing that could make this hotel better would be to have a gym on site - but the pilates instructor was incredible!

The rooms were spread among small cottages, each near a quiet swimming pool. The outdoor restaurant had a gourmet menu and a lovely view of the sunset. The staff were all friendly and eager to please. Even the weather was perfect, but that’s not guaranteed.

- Jeremy (10/5): Would 100% Go Back! - After a few days in Cannes this was the perfect getaway! A beautiful, peaceful spot within walking distance of Saint Paul de Vence. I wish we had stayed three nights instead of two. One day just to sit by the pool and read. :) And the restaurant there is legit DREAMY! Thank you! It's a small staff, and when we arrived to check in I think we must've arrived at the same time as a couple of other parties. So check-in wasn't seamless, but the employees were very nice! And it only took a few extra minutes.

То, как они относятся к своему делу, экстерьеру, озеленению, деталям просто восхищает. На территории чудесный ресторан, уютная кафе для ланчей с очень быстрым обслуживанием. Персонал очень приятной наружности, готов помочь. В 5 минутах на авто чудеснейший старинный городок с невероятной атмосферой. Возможно нам не повезло и часть персонала в ресторане были на больничном и официанты были перегружены и даже если бы они и хотели уделить вам время, его просто не было и они были так желанны для каждого столика и так же сложно было получить от них внимание, но официанты старались и спасибо им за это, все гости понимали это и никто не показывал негодование, хотя посетители переживали, что внимание официанта так нужно, когда ты голодный и очень хочешь пить, но я уверен это просто такое совпадение, все люди болеют. То же самое было и с поварами, через чудесное окно кухни было видно, как их немногочисленная команда старается и создает очень интересные блюда, но их явно тоже не хватало, видимо тоже из-за болезни или каких-то иных обстоятельств и между блюдами проходило час и более, хотя ожидания того стоили, свое дело они знают. В любом случае мы влюбились в это место и будем приезжать снова и снова!

- Emma (10/5): - From the moment we stepped onto the property, the calm and beauty of Toile Blanche unpacked us straight away! The welcome was so warm, and to our surprise, we were upgraded to a stunning room filled with thoughtful touches – a rattan pool bag, yoga mat, and sun hat for lounging by the 3 quiet, serene pools. Everywhere you go, the scents of nature and gorgeous views surround you. The hotel’s art, created by the Leroy Brothers, adds a unique creative spirit to the space, and the attention to detail and cleanliness is impeccable. Both restaurants served delicious, high-quality meals, with staff happily recommending their favourites. We also loved the 20 minute uphill walk to Saint Paul de Vence - a charming medieval town full of art, galleries, and cafes. Definitely bring water and good shoes, but it’s very worth it. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return. Such a memorable and special stay!

There is no spa , no fitness room, no pool service , no room service for food. For this amount of money it would be nice to have.

- Clare (6/5): A complete disappointment! - Very pretty place with lovely gardens and a Provence meets Miami Beach sort of feel and vibe. Very comfortable bed, nice bedding and towels and good food at the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We really wanted this place to be special as it was the last 2 nights of a long trip and we wanted to treat ourselves. Sadly we were left very disappointed and felt the expense was a complete waste. Arrival was confusing - we found the car park, but there is then no clear signage to reception. We headed for the first building nearest the road, a logical choice we thought, but that was an accommodation section. Fortunately a staff member spotted our confused faces and said we were a long way from reception and as I had an injured knee she would find someone to help us get there. Along came the lovely lad Axel in a buggy - he was the standout staff member in terms of service, attitude and friendliness and he stopped at our car to load our luggage and took us to reception. We were met by a young woman who greeted us and checked us in. She asked if we had booked for dinner and when we said ‘not yet’ she said that was a shame as they were fully booked and we should have done so as suggested by their email - what email we asked to which she just looked at us blankly. I advised her of my knee injury, but she said nothing could be done and there was nothing else on site or close by we could go to unless we wanted to eat early at 5pm in their casual restaurant before it closed at 6pm. She suggested we could head further afield and try to find something - no suggestions or assistance offered and not really an option given the state of my knee. We then booked dinner immediately for the following night. We headed off with her and the fabulous Axel in the buggy to our room.

Overa - Beautiful grounds, nice private pool, nice staff, and excellent restaurant. All nitpicky things. No top sheet on the bed is weird(maybe it’s a Euro thing).Bathroom layout was a little odd. Hate when you cannot get a firm pillow for the bed.

Tip-check your invoice before leaving my husband and I were charged for 4 continental breakfasts on our last day instead of 2.

- Jane (9/5): A peaceful long weekend in a fabulous location with great accommodation and food - The room was fab with great interiors and we had our own private outdoor space. Being so small there was rarely anyone round either of the two pools. The food at lunch and dinner was excellent and the hotel have some great staff. We loved the laid back luxe vibe of this small elegant hotel it suited us to a T The hotel can’t really be to blame for either of my negatives but it did impact our stay:- You can hire bikes from the hotel but the cycle lanes are erratic, to say the least, and the main roads were super busy. It was pretty scary at times! The other negative was the taxi fare which was Euros75 each way from the airport and the journey was 15-20mins tops. Eye wateringly expensive! I did book a meal out and ordered an Uber but the ride was never accepted through their app apparently they don’t like to come outside of Nice! I had to cancel my restaurant booking with no means to get there! Be warned especially if you have paid a deposit to reserve!

- Melissa (10/5): Honeymoon-worthy luxury stay. - This property was a dream to stay in. Romantic setting, stunning pool, luxury amenities and world class restaurant. All the staff were delightful and we can’t recommend enough. Location is not ideal. While you can walk to St Paul de Vence, it’s a very steep unlit walk up a hill via a road (no walkways). You really need to Uber. So not ideal if you don’t have a car.
- Jonah (4/5): A beautiful stay that required a lot more. - Aesthetically the property was beautiful. Everyone was kind yet inexperienced and the rooms looked exceptional with some exceptions. When I complained at the end of our stay they were incredibly accommodating and willing to make amends. As a family run hotel, they got everything on the surface right however… costs are clearly kept low by employing inexperienced staff and employing family members to do jobs that require experience. Everyone was kind and willing to help yet I felt like I was staying in the owners home as supposed to an expensive hotel. Like I said, surface level details were beautiful. They are clearly a family with taste and brilliant eyes for detail however the functionality simply didn’t work. Our shower was broken, there were no proper tea cups in the room, they only changed our pool towels once, the cleaners only came once a day, we couldn’t eat at the pool restaurant because it was full so we had to join another persons table (the owners had a table of 10 in the middle of the restaurant) and no one informed us of the need to book to get food in the day. I could go on but the simple truth is, for the price you pay, one expected more… a lot more. As mentioned previously, one of the owners wife was incredibly accommodating after we had complained and asked us not to write a bad review whilst also offering us a night free and our extras refunded which we are incredibly grateful for. However, when reading through all the reviews, I must say, there are surprisingly very few bad ones. I fear this is for the same reason. My girlfriend and I have travelled around the world and stayed in countless hotels. Hotels do not improve unless they are told where they are going wrong. I trust people will read this and understand that whilst it’s a stunning hotel, with lovely perks and beautiful gardens in the south of France (15 minutes from the sea), there is a lot that needs to be improved and the prices do not justify what is received.
