Guest Reviews
- Audie (10/5): Stayed there for the Cleveland marathon. - The location is perfect and the staff was nice. Room was super clean and had a nice view. The only complaint is the parking garage. It’s not crazy expensive but you have to have a staff member let you out and sometime you had to wait a while to get out.
- Pamela (7/5): Convenient location and comfortable. - Room cleanliness The shower temperature was very difficult to regulate. It went from ice cold to super hot within seconds.

- Brandie (10/5): -

- Patricia (10/5): The staff at Aloft were great and everything was as expected. - We loved the location to the event we attended. A tad cheaper would have been nice.
- Denes (10/5): -
- Jake (10/5): -
- Brittney (10/5): - Clean rooms friendly staff
- Mia (9/5): - The overall hotel, staff was pleasant and extremely nice. We didn’t know that booking through a 3rd party would not allow us to have a handicap room. My husband being an amputee we had to use the desk chair for him to shower.

- Tracey (10/5): -
- Victoria (10/5): Great Location - The property is well-kept, and the service was exceptionally friendly.
The rooms are a generous size and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a mini-fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, and Drybar products. I also appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy to reach various destinations and walk to nearby restaurants and the waterfront. Additionally, the parking options—both the nearby lots and the valet service—made coming and going at any time very simple. On Friday night of our stay it was fairly loud until 2am. You could hear continuous music playing and people who had way to much to drink.
- LeAndra (8/5): - Parking fees
- Cynthia (4/5): - Sound machine was nice. Parking was inconvenient.
- Steven (10/5): -
- Chanratanak (7/5): Great location. Not typical breakfast. - Location and the Italian restaurant next to the hotel. The breakfast was a grab and go, which was not mentioned during the booking. There was a $20 limit but the food items had no price tag for guests to know the cost. Some of the receptionists were nonchalant and surprisingly not receptive to guests checking in and checking out.
- Brian (9/5): Enjoyed my visit to Cleveland including the stay at Aloft. - modern hotel next to "Flats". Walkable to downtown attractions as well.
- Krishneel (1/5): Be very careful while you swipe your card. These guys will double charge you “intentionally “ on your room stay and say - It’s within the city. But the staff has some serious issues. The attitude of the employees. Customer service is definitely 0 rating

- Kiana (10/5): Short one night stay. We did come back to the hotel and went to the bar. The bartender was nice and made the perfect dri - Loved the vibes. Very comfortable and cute. Perfect location. The staff was all super friendly and extremely helpful. Even if I felt like I was asking a lot of dumb questions they made me feel like it was alright and they were more than happy to help. They were kind, caring, respectful, and were extremely helpful. I didn’t notice anything I did not like.

- Kendall (10/5): We always love our stays here!!! - It was another great stay! And this time we were able to enjoy a couple drinks at the bar. The bartender, Jermaine (I think is his name) made amazing Old Fashions!!! We have been raving about them all weekend at our daughter's wedding with our friends and family. The drink prices were very reasonable as well! Parking garage situation: dirty / smelly to get through the doors to an elevator (bottom level).
- Anna Maria (7/5): - The modern feel of the rooms - well lit, comfortable and with all the needed amenities.
Staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had in a kind manner.
Location was decent, albeit a little confusing on where to park without directions from hotel staff. The shower was slippery and because of the dark flooring we couldn't quite tell if it was cleaned well. Some parts of the room didn't feel as clean as other hotels we have stayed at for the same price.
- Scott (7/5): Satisfied - Nothing

- Larry (9/5): Look forward to staying with you again! - Clean, modern, stylish. Very good location and amenities. Great bed too.
On checkout, my car (in the garage) wouldn’t start - the young man running valet was extremely helpful and considerate. We appreciated him. No complaints.
- Ronald (8/5): Excellent service and food, great design, one flaw - Nice people, beautiful designed rooms and public areas, excellent food Room bathroom poorly designed without soundproofing and a sliding door that didn’t stay shut!
- Desiree (10/5): Cute place and great location - All of the amenities.. how close it was to many bars and restaurants plus nice views Valet for $40 a night
- Branden (10/5): -
- william (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): -
- Dayna (4/5): Slept horribly from all the noise - Way too much noise from trains and construction
- Arkela (8/5): - Location, cleanliness, staff, comfort Breakfast should be better, microwave convenience should be on every floor
- Alex (10/5): -
- Hoa (10/5): Ok - Ok Ok
- valerie (10/5): - Walking distance to stadium and other activities.
- Hayli (10/5): -
- Justin (4/5): - Location was good for some points. The old lady found packages of ear plugs in the bathroom which we thought was very weird. Never say that before. But after getting home at night. We saw why they had them. We were right next to a night club and then another one was across the street. Music didn't stop playing untill 235 in the morning. Was not happy
- Roland (10/5): -
- Kaylee (10/5): -
- Devin (10/5): -
- Robert (4/5): - Bed was comfortable Shooting outside, bar not open
- Crystal (6/5): - First off, I used the valet parking. My car was given back with a punctured flat tire and scratch on the fender. I have not heard back. We picked the hotel for the location. The hotel was nice but there was a noise that was constant all night. The hotel staff was great.
- Douglas (10/5): - Great hotel
- gary (5/5): - Location Too expensive and not classy
- Alana (9/5): Comfy hotel and helpful staff - Rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. Staff was kind and very helpful at all times. Jameel in particular was helpful when we realized late that night that the AC in our original room wasn’t working. He quickly moved us to another room and even hand delivered the key so we didn’t have to go back downstairs again. If you’re driving there, the parking situation is a bit pricey and there’s no direct access to the hotel from the parking garage. But it worked fine overall and I was glad to have indoor parking available because we have a lot of items that need to stay in the car overnight. It felt secure.
- Kimberly (10/5): Nice motel! - Great location and staff were awesome. Not a bad walk to the arena either. Nothing
- Jamie-Lee (10/5): - Local to where we were needing to be but no great options for a quick meal, no close convenience stores, the valet when leaving couldn’t drive a manual transmission so I paid for valet but still had to get my own car. Extremely loud - being ear plugs. Very clean but very small rooms.
- Sue (10/5): - We loved the hotel and Italian restaurant on the ground level but since there was a shooting in the business next to the hotel a few days prior to our stay, I doubt we will return. Four people were shot.
- andrew (6/5): - The location was okay but the rooms are ancient and the air conditioner in the room was comically loud. The layout of the rooms was not thought out at all.
- Omar (10/5): -
- Courtney (2/5): - This hotel was not very functional. The rooms are very small and not designed well. The staff were all very rude and snippy. Half of them were on their phones and not attentive to customers at all! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The nightlife is also very loud until in the morning hours and was told we just have to deal with it.
- Michelle (10/5): - A
- Jack (10/5): - Clean and nice staff
- Bailey (10/5): - Just beware of the noise from the airplanes flying right over
- Paula (10/5): Great overnight stay - It was safe, clean and a great location! N/A
- Tachiana (10/5): - i like how close the property was to the venue
- Heather (9/5): we will stay every year at Aloft & have held rooms for next year's local event. - valet available for overnight and in/out access or self park options, location is in a desirable downtown district, pets allowed with two local access dog parks. Welcoming & friendly staff. Clean building w contemporary decor. We packed our stuff into the car a day before our departure, removed the do not disturb sign on the door, did not check out bc we still had night five of five booked, and went to our all day into the night event. Upon our 2 a.m. return to our last night. we came back to an unassembled room. The bedding was stripped, towels collected, trash empty, but nothing was cleaned/wiped/swept or put back in place. We slept without linens, even though the front desk they'd send some right up, plus no towels so we couldn't even lay on those to sleep or have available for personal care use. The misunderstanding made sense considering we had checked in with luggage & a dog, and they saw us multiple times the four days there, and then no sign of any items left for our need to return to the hotel.
We were to leave early the last day and with a full day & late night out, we didn't want to burden ourselves packing the car to check out, so we packed up a day sooner. We understood the misunderstanding by Aloft staff and will stay at Aloft Downtown Cleveland many more times.
- Kristine (8/5): - A bit loud Friday night.
- Raffi (8/5): - The location at the Flats and close to the aquarium is fantastic
- Thomas (10/5): - Easy to get to, so many things to do in the area. Very walkable.
- Malorie (10/5): - Staff was great and easy walking to areas around there.
- Stacey (10/5): Amazing location and premium toiletries. - Aloft was wonderful. It’s a little tricky to find. You have to pull into the parking lot, then take 1 bank of elevators up to the lobby. Then there is a separate bank of elevators to your room. Valet parking is $40. Self parking is $26 for 24 hours. We were just there for the night so it was $13 for us.
If you do self park you pay every time you go in and out of the garage.
However, if you’re looking to explore the Flats you don’t have to leave at all. We walked the Flats and had dinner at The Lake house. (Highly recommend) and it’s all walking distance (I was wearing wedges and didn’t have a problem at all)
Check out was a breeze. The room had HUGE bath towels, such a nice upgrade and they have a relationship with Dry Bar so the shampoo/conditioner/ toiletries are fantastic. From the location to the comfort and the ease of the check in I’d HIGHLY recommend this stay to anyone.
- Rebecca (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable hotel - The hotel was easy to find and beautiful overall. Our room was exceptional. Incredibly clean and comfortable. The few staff members we interacted with were very nice and friendly. Nothing
- Steve (4/5): What's with all the noise? - This place faces the "Flats" which is where the bars and night clubs are. The music was extremely loud until 2 am. No sleep whatsoever.
Added to that were the vehicles cruising up and down the streets with loud exhaust and even louder stereo systems.
If you stay in Cleveland, stay higher up - downtown.
- baumgartner (10/5): - Location The bar closed early
- Joey (10/5): - All good
- CHRISTOPHER (6/5): - There is a number of loud bars and nightclubs beneath the hotel. Be sure to ask for the highest floor possible, I was given the 2nd floor and it was noisy until last 2am
- Alland (8/5): - Nice stay
- Yvette (8/5): -
- Brian (7/5): good -
- Victoria (8/5): - Our stay was great! But hotels.com advertised covered self parking for $22/day and we paid $78 for 3 days. Oh and the bartender at the hotel makes an amazing Cherry Long Island!
- Jessica (10/5): - I had a great experience at this hotel and it all started when I checked in. Christy (maybe misspelling her name) was so nice, pleasant, snd helpful. She was the best!!
- Alexis (10/5): - Good
- Jordan (10/5): - Great spot in the city
- Nathan (10/5): - Vibe and location
- Thrasher (2/5): -
- Jessica (8/5): - Our room the lights did not work in the bathroom making it difficult to use and shower. Also the air conditioner system is under a table which doesn't allow the air to flow. The room seemed pretty warm at all times despite air being set at 65
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- David (7/5): High noise level hotel - Rooms are modern with a nice TV and good internet. The entrance is in an industrial building with lobby on the third floor. You had to take two elevators to get to your room. The rooms were incredibly small. Breakfast was poor and there was no cook on my last day. The noise level from nights at the street level was off the charts until 2 AM,
- Dierre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rayshawn (10/5): My Family enjoyed the stay for the July 4 - Everything
- Lori (10/5): - Enjoyed our short stay, the staff was great and the property had a fun vibe
