Praktisch gegenüber der Bahnen, nahe dem wunderschönen, gut erhaltenen alten Teil des Dorfes und doch äusserst ruhig. Die Einstellhalle setzt eine gutes Fahrgeschick voraus😉 Wir hätten gerne direkt gebucht. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen

- Frank (4/5): Poor quality hotel charging premium prices. - As soon as we arrived, the receptionist looked like she did not want to be there. We had booked a place in the Spa and she did not provided the towels and robes, etc before going up to the room so we had to get dressed again and come to ask for the towels. There was no help in directing us to our room. As soon as we got to the spa, there was an employee on the adjacent room staff room and she was angry that we (by mistake) entered the staff area. As soon as we go to the spa, the floor was quite dirty with and towels strung around on the floor. It looked like no staff had been there to tidy up for a long time. This is not exactly what I was expecting for the price we paid. I will most certainly will not return to this hotel that charges you premium price for a poor quality service.
- Reto (8/5): - Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber aussergewöhnlich sauber👍 Einziger Mängel, der Service auf der Terrasse kann verbessert werden, würde auch Umsatz steigern. Und im Wellness geniesse ich gerne Ruhe aber klar, wenn Kinder mit im Urlaub sind, dürfen sie auch mal kreischen. Alles in Allem👍👍👍👍

- Natascha (10/5): Accueil - L'accueil à l'Alpina n'est plus comme dans le passé. Nous n'avons été qu'un numéro. Dommage, nous avions plaisir de revoir les tenanciers et depuis qu'ils ne sont plus là, ce n'est plus l'hôtel de nos souvenirs. Si non, le reste tout ok.

- Arjun (6/5): Great staff. Bad pillows. - The view was lovely. The staff were really nice. However their pillows were literally 10 years old and mattress was so soft and old, I couldn't sleep all night. The pillows basically have no feathers left. Hence the sleep was bad, and there's no one present at night whom I could ask for help.
- Bluette (6/5): Hotelrestaurant war eine Entäuschung - Im Restaurant gab es sehr kleine Portionen und der Preis war nicht gerade billig. Wir mussten für unsere Kinder (9,8 +7 Jahre alt) noch mehr Pommes bestellen und es wurde nur eine Handvoll nachgeliefert und auch noch seperat verrechnet. Unsere Kinder assen anschliessend im Zimmer noch eine Banane weil sie noch hunger hatten. Leider wurde unsere Kritik im Service nicht angenommen. Schaade. Auch mit dem Frühstück konnten sie nicht brillieren. Das Brot wurde aufgebacken und die geschnittenen Früchte waren schon braun. Das Hotelzimmer und der Wellnesbereich waren ok.

- markus (8/5): Sehr gutes Hotel - Zentral und gut erreichbar gelegen. Die Zimmer sind schön und bequem eingerichtet. Gutes, standardgemässes Frühstück. Das Hotelrestaurant serviert eine breite Auswahl and lecker zubereiteten Speisen. Schöne Wellnessanlage (für uns war das Wasser im Sprudelbad zu kalt). Das Parkieren in der Hotelgarage ist sehr eng.

Bathroom though small was clean but shower was so narrow leaving any room to turn around! Breakfast was okay. Not going back!

- Gary (10/5): Alpina: Great Location, Food, Service - Fabulous hotel with excellent dining, hot tub, great balcony, easy access to public bus —- and right next to the two great lifts to spirit you up top for summer hikes, or winter skiing. The old town is just steps away, as are several equally fine restaurants, but being able to bus in, and stumble across the street to the ski lifts make this a real find. The hotelier was very professional, seeing to every need, joking with customers in four languages. The hotel included free access to lifts and local buses, meaning our hikes were at Moiry Glacier, atop Zinal Lift for a weekend songfest & party, and and a second peak just above the hotel with a 90 minute return walk that was out of Sound of Music. Hit the hot tub, catch snacks, cold beer and sandwiches at the nearby grocery store and pastry shops, it’s a smash village to a valley with constant views.

- Daniel (10/5): Highly Recommend Hotel Alpina! - I had an excellent stay at Alpina. The rooms are basic: clean and comfortable but would benefit from a renovation/uplift at some point in the future. The Wifi works excellently. The staff are fabulous, so friendly. The restaurant is good (super breakfast included, and a good dinner for reasonable price). The bar in the restaurant is cool. Best of all, it is 20 meters from the gondola/lifts. I highly recommend Alpina!
- Bruce (6/5): A Bit Disappointing - Good Location, the rooms were comfortable and in good shape, and the staff was great; but, I felt the following were negatives: 1). The Wi-Fi could not be used in the rooms but only in the Lobby, 2). When you left the Hotel temporarily you placed your Room Key in a Board by the Front Desk where anyone could have taken it and robbed the Room, 3). European breakfast was sub-par, especially as to variety and choice, and 4) Room cleanliness was not excellent.
