The staff were outstanding—highly professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The two gentlemen I encountered, possibly duty managers, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. - Travel13347351280 (10/5): Best hotel in town - Stayed here one night visiting New Plymouth for work. King and Queens was perfect for my stay. Room was very nice and styled beautifully. Price for My room was on point meaning it was good value based on style and centrally located right in the middle of town, and there’s parking on site too. There was a very nice courtyard style restaurant and bar below with great food and atmosphere. All and all, I couldn’t fault a thing.

Lovely staff, rooms great especially the bed which I would like to have one at home. I have marked this hotel down because there were major road works right next to the hotel, so close that you could not enter via the road.because of the works we could not park our car in the hotel car park because all available spots had been taken, we did not know that you have to reserve a spot. The views are not great either. But if you are looking for someone good to stay for work for example it is excellent.

Stylish interior and very clean. Quiet and comfy bed. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. would definitely recommend and stay again.

The room felt like an apartment - spacious, comfortable bed, separate toilet, and a kitchenette. Great eating places next door with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
- Marilyn (8/5): Good hotel, very central - It was right in the middle of Taranaki, we could walk everywhere, staff friendly, gave us upgrade but we still think our original room would hsve been bigger🤣 The enormous bath in the bathroom where you might be able to get in but totally impossible to get out for us 75+… It was a huge bathroom compared to the bedroom. Coffee machine out of order!!

- Sean (10/5): Excellent! - Everything! Couldn’t have asked for more to be comfortable. After nearly 3 weeks on our road trip we were hoping for a large comfortable bed with a good shower, so were happy to be able to enjoy. Room spacious and hotel close to many eateries, bars and breweries. Not to mention their own collaboration with numerous food outlets adjoining the hotel - great concept. Parking is available if booked and paid for ahead. Great walks to being near the beach board walk. Nothing all perfect

- Frank (8/5): A brief but enjoyable couple of days spent at this hotel. - The location was excellent with car parking on site, restaurants and cafes next door or a short walk away. Our room was spacious with a large bed, sofa, chair and desk with fully equipped kitchenette. The room was also quiet. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

- alisummers1 (10/5): Way better than I expected in every way - We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and I must say it is far better in person than it is on the Internet! It was easy to get to, and even had our name on the parking place when we arrived. The woman at reception was exceptional. Friendly, professional, and helpful. There is beautiful artwork throughout the hotel and the suite we had was a good size with all that you might need. There is even a small balcony where you can sit and soak in the atmosphere. While the hotel itself does not have a restaurant there are a few eateries attached in a courtyard: pizza, asian, a wine bar, and a coffee place - all of which we sampled. All excellent. The service here and in the eateries is also excellent. We will definitely come back next time we are in New Plymouth

- Carrie (10/5): Fantastic hotel in New Plymouth ! - Fantastic location and amenities. Our room was a smartly laid out mini-suite with a kitchenette. There was plenty of room to unpack, the kitchenette had useful basics, and the room was clean and quiet. On a longer trip having things like access to laundry facilities (and unexpected bonus), a pass to a nearby gym (much nicer than a tiny hotel gym), a connected food court (coffee available after 3 pm!) and a smart TV that actually allowed you to log into your own apps - made this the best hotel we stayed in in a 3 and 1/2 week trip. It was the perfect balance of an Airbnb type of setup and a hotel. Nothing.
- Tracy (9/5): - Very central in New Plymouth which made it easy finding places within walking distance. I would recommend providing filtered water stations for guests to use. I was unable to drink the tap water due to the taste and it would have been helpful to have a filtered water option.

- Jessica (10/5): Beautiful room, very comfortable and very convenient location - The hotel and room were really nice! It all felt new and was extremely comfortable. I thought the decor was great. Very good location, easy walk to the water and boardwalk and also a number of bars, restaurants, coffee all part of the same complex but all winners. Reserved parking was $15 extra. I was there mid week but there seemed to be unreserved parking available. Nothing

- Carol (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and fortunately did spend a lot of time in our room. - Location was great and the bed very comfortable. We loved the spa bath. The room was cleaned daily which was a plus. I disliked that the room faced onto an internal courtyard. I am not sure that this was explained when we made our booking. It made me feel very claustrophobic. i was also disappointed that the cleaning staff did not top up the bath salts even though I left the container open for them to see it was empty. They also didnt replace the makeup flannel.
