The location was great, close to restaurants and easy enough to walk many places. We had one of the rooms on the ground floor and it was a bit stuffy and poorly ventilated. The air-conditioning wasn't great.

Seul bémol lors de notre séjour, le bruit, notre chambre était placée juste au dessus de la réception donc on entendait tout et c’était très mal insonorisé avec la chambre à côté, nous entendions leur télévision comme si c’était dans notre chambre.

Drumherum sind viele neue Restaurants und Geschäfte. Zur U-Bahn ist es auch nicht weit. Die Linie führt direkt ins Zentrum. Der Innenhof ist sehr schön zum Frühstücken. Das ganze Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit und spricht sehr gut englisch. Das Frühstück war lecker.

The area is very safe with an abundance of excellent bars, restaurants and shops to explore.

• OceansUnknown (10/5): The cutest hotel in Palermo! - I absolutely loved Magnolia Boutique Hotel! The room was clean and quite spacious for a solo person with a cute little balcony. The breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed all the options. The staff was also very friendly and helpful in navigating around the city. The noise wasn't bad at all. It had some city noises as my room faced the street but nothing that felt loud or distracting. It was easily within walking distance to everything in Palermo with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe walking around Palermo and staying here. Would definitely stay here again!

The building is older and beautifully decorated and the staff was uniformly friendly and competentZ The building is older and could use some modernization.
• Dennis (9/5): Uitstekende locatie met super vriendelijk personeel! - De locatie is echt ideaal. De meeste grote attracties en het centrum van Buenos Aires zijn op loopafstand. De medewerkers zijn ook super vriendelijk. Aangezien deze plek maar 8 kamers heeft, leer je iedereen zo kennen. Het was voor mij een nieuwe ervaring om elke dag door het personeel met mijn voornaam te worden aangesproken. Dat droeg bij aan de gastvrijheid. Zelf ben ik nog een beginner in Spaans, maar iedereen die er werkte sprak uitstekend Engels. Daarnaast kon ik geregeld een praatje maken met iemand die aan het werk was om aan mijn Spaans te werken. De kamer is ook erg mooi. Bij het verlaten van het pand moet je telkens je kamersleutel achterlaten bij de balie. Zelf vond ik dat ideaal, omdat ik dan zelf minder spullen hoefde mee te nemen. Het ontbijt is ook uitstekend. Je kan uit een paar gerechten kiezen, maar het is geen probleem als je meerdere gerechten kiest. Ik heb dit hotel eveneens gekozen omdat recensies van sommige andere hotels in de regio spraken over verborgen kosten of bepaalde afspraken die niet werden nagekomen. Hier was daar geen sprake van. Top verblijf! Het enige nadeel voor mij was dat de kamers vrij gehorig zijn. Aangezien er maar weinig gasten zijn merkte je daar niet heel veel van, maar ik ben een aantal keer vroeg in de ochtend of laat in de avond gewekt door een andere gast die veel herrie maakte tijdens binnenkomst of verlaten van het hotel. Ik zou graag zien dat het personeel daar wat van zegt op zulke momenten. Daarnaast wordt ontbijt alleen geserveerd tussen 8 en 10. Zelf vond ik dit vrij krap, maar gezien het beperkt aantal gasten is dit volledig te begrijpen. Gelukkig heb ik elke ochtend het ontbijt gewoon kunnen bijwonen 🙂

• Veronica (8/5): A friendly boutique hotel - The Magnolia Hotel was a good choice for staying in the Palermo area of Buenos Aires. The hotel is small and the area feels very safe. The hotel room felt more like a room in someone's house. The breakfast was very good with fresh orange juice and eggs if requested. The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and booking taxis. There were some minor maintenance issues - the bathroom door didn't engage properly and the shower head needed replacing or repairing. However, these were very minor things that didn't affect our stay. The great staff made up for such issues.

Zimmer sehr sauber, gute Betten, sehr leckeres Frühstück und nicht zu vergessen, das Personal. Ohne ihnen wäre das alles nicht möglich. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, dass keine Mühe gescheut wird, um morgens 3:30 Uhr ein gutes Frühstück zu zubereiten, so dass man entspannt zum Flughafen fahren kann. Vielen lieben Dank! • nancykohn1 (10/5): A lovely hotel in a great location. - We arrived very early, well before check in time and we were welcomed, given breakfast, and shown a map to discover the neighbourhood. Our room was ready early and we are very grateful to the staff. Our room was spacious and had a small outdoor terrace. Breakfast is generous and very good. Just remember that you have to ring the bell and you will be let in at the front door.

• colinhD3399JP (10/5): Quality hotel in Buenos Aires - If you like a more personalised hotel experience, rather than a chain, this hotel is for you. It’s a boutique hotel, small, friendly and with great customer service. Rooms are excellent with comfortable beds, quality linen and good showers. A great size too. We were very happy to start our holiday here and super happy to return at the end before flying home. There is an excellent breakfast each day. Staff are excellent – smiley, helpful and friendly. Incidentally, they have an agreement with a local gym that you can use, or just use to grab a shower after a day’s exploring and prior to your evening flight home. That is really useful.

We stayed on the main floor in one of the upgraded rooms and we loved it. This is one of those really special places and we can't recommend it highly enough. The location is so terrific in so many ways that we can't think of another area of town that could be better.

Many exceptional local restaurants within 10 minute walks. The breakfast is terrific and the other guests are very social and very engaging. • Margaret (10/5): We highly recommend staying here. - The staff was extremely welcoming and professional. They made us feel at home from the moment they opened the big, beautiful door for us. We couldn’t have asked to stay with nicer people. We loved the small, homey feel and the rooftop terrace was delightful.
• BPM_Cambridge (10/5): Highly recommended! - What a lovely place! Very attractive and comfortable, in an excellent location. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay truly excellent. Delicious breakfast. I will certainly stsy there again!

• Alberto Attilio (7/5): Helpful staff tad dated rooms great location - Characterful really welcoming helpful staff friendly made us a New Year’s Eve snack when we couldn’t get a restaurant anywhere Breakfast was served to us and very attentive The room is basic no tea coffee making facilities quite warm the air con struggled in the heat during our stay A little overpriced for what it offers Limited room facilities for that price range The welcome drink was never offered to us we were sent across the road to a cafe to wait for our room rather than the hotel space

• Alain (8/5): Magnifique hôtel, service exceptionnel - L'intérieur de l'hôtel est magnifique, le service est particulièrement agréable et les petits déjeuners sont succulents. Il y a quelques restaurants à proximité. Peu d'espace de rangement dans la chambre, la bâtisse est mal insonorisée (on entend les gens parler à l'entrée, par exemple lors d'un check out à 5h AM) et l'hôtel est à 5km de la première attraction touristique.

Wonderful service from the friendly and attentive staff. The hotel is a historic home which has its own fascinating history. Would definitely like to stay here again.

The staff does everything to make your stay pleasant, they efficiently organize transfers to the airports, tours and help with anything neede. A real gem in the city of BA. Nothing.

• C5638YTlisaj (10/5): Perfect boutique hotel - Perfect location for local restaurants and coffee shops and easy walking distance to many places. We enjoyed exploring the Paloma area. The staff were wonderful, polite and accommodating. One lovely woman gave us an amazing intro to the Yerba Mate beverage and how the locals enjoy this wonderful beverage. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The rooms were cozy, clean and a nice size. In fact the entire building had a cozy feel. We enjoyed the sitting room area as we decompressed after our long flight and the dining area was a lovely place to enjoy a yummy breakfast. They even had plenty of gluten free options available and knowing that was needed in advance they had a nice variety of pastries available that I could eat - what a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed their rooftop lounging one evening as we were winding down from our day. If you are looking for a quaint hotel perfectly located in the Palermo area of Buenos Aires, Magnolia is the place to stay!
