• Dominique (10/5): Excellent pour un séjour d’étape : confort, qualité et calme,. - Le petit déjeuner compris est bien pratique car l‘hôtel étant situé dans une zone de bureaux, les options sont inexistantes aux alentours. La cuisinette, qui nous a permis de ne pas être dépendants des restaurants avoisinants n’offrant pas d’options santé. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et le jacuzzi, ainsi que le gymnase pour se détendre. L‘insonorisation des chambres est impeccable, ce qui est appréciable car l‘hôtel est près des autoroutes. Nous aurions apprécié un peu plus de vaisselle dans la cuisinette.

• supermaddmax (2/5): Avoid this place !! - I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, the receptionist charged my credit card for the full amount of $1700. Shortly after, she claimed her system had crashed and said she couldn’t see the payment on her end. Even though I showed her the confirmation and the transaction clearly showing on my credit card account, she insisted I pay a second time or else she would not hand over the room keys. She told me to pay again and come back later to “sort it out” – essentially asking me to trust that I would be refunded a duplicate $1700 payment. I was left with no choice but to pay again under pressure, which is absolutely unacceptable, especially considering how large the amount is. On top of that, they canceled my booking with Expedia in order to avoid paying commission, which means I didn’t get my Expedia rewards either. This feels deliberately dishonest and made the entire situation even worse. To make matters worse, I accidentally left behind my lunchbox when I checked out. Just a few minutes later, I emailed the front desk to let them know I would be coming back the next week to retrieve it. When I returned, it was difficult to get any help from the staff, and I eventually discovered that the contents had been emptied. This lack of care and disregard for guests’ belongings added yet another layer of frustration to an already terrible stay. This kind of treatment is unprofessional and feels like a scam. Holding a guest’s room hostage unless they double-pay, while sabotaging Expedia reservations to dodge fees, is not only unethical but a terrible way to treat customers. Combined with how they handled my forgotten item, I can confidently say this hotel operates with no accountability or respect for guests. I’m still in the process of resolving the double charge. I do not recommend staying here unless you’re ready to deal with serious billing issues, shady practices, and poor customer service.

• Lothringen1 (2/5): Inhospitable environment - This is a letter I sent to the GM of the hotel and for which I never received an answer. It sums up my experience: "Dear Mr..., I am writing to you today to provide some feedback regarding our recent stay at your hotel from August 21 to August 23 in room 516. Overall, the hotel staff were professional and welcoming, and the room amenities were excellent. Unfortunately, our hotel experience was negatively impacted by a significant issue with the soundproofing in our room, particularly regarding the occupants of room 514 over our three-night stay . We were regrettably sharing a locked door linking the two rooms. Throughout our time at the hotel, we were consistently disturbed by loud music, vulgar and argumentative language, and general disruptive behavior coming from that room late into the nights. I need to mention the smoking of marijuana as well, as the smoke was sipping to our room through the crack of the door. This was very distressing and made it difficult for me and my wife to relax and rest, as we traveled from Pennsylvania to attend a wedding. We were also concerned by the smell of our own clothes that could be tainted by the smoke from our neighbors. We literally had to lock ourselves in our bedroom with open window in order to find refuge. I understand that hotels cannot control all aspects of guest behaviors, but the lack of sound insulation was such that the disturbances felt as though they were happening in my own room. I share my concerns with the front desk, but nothing was done to remedy the situation. I am bringing this to your attention so that you are aware of this issue and can address it for the comfort of future guests. Thank you for your time and for your attention to this matter."

• Marsha (4/5): Stay from hell/horrible service and trash staffs - This is our second stay at this hotel and both times we had to switch rooms because of dirty linen and or filthy floors. Upon checking in, there was a huge fan like those used in construction, operating in the bathroom. I called the front desk and they said maintenance probably forgot it there. Unbelievable. The floors were filthy as well. After we changed room, they put us in a suite that was adjoining to another room and the occupants literally complained that we were being loud when we were literally just having a nice conversation. The hotel security came and then the guy from the front desk came to tell us to whisper (not in so many words). People tend to treat hotels like their homes and want other guest to tiptoe around them. We will NEVER return to this hotel nor would we EVER recommend it. We paid over $400 for the night which is high for a mediocre hotel in Vaughan.
• Alexus (10/5): - Element was the absolute perfect choice for us and our guests for our wedding. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful before, during and after our stay. Our space was clean and set with amazing amenities in our suite that you don’t often see at other hotels! They have plenty of surface parking for everyone and the location is so convenient having multiple food options within walking distance. They also offer a phenomenal complimentary breakfast bar to guests staying equipped with hot foods at the ready. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anybody needing to stay in the area!

The staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to recognize Oyinkansola from breakfast service. She went above and beyond to ensure we received what we needed and helped accommodate my 9 month son by providing us with a high chair and food he could eat. We will definitely return.
• gaurav_829 (6/5): Clean and Decent - A budget hotel in Vaughan which is located centrally and has some decent eating options near by. The rooms are big and that’s the positive side as it allows lot of space for movement. A fully serviced kitchen with all appliances is available. Filtered water via a tap is great for drinking water. The bed is comfortable and big. However the lights in the room were very low and limited and without opening the blinds it’s difficult to have a good view in the room. The service is decent but not that great, however don’t expect much for a budget hotel. The breakfast was same everyday and was almost cold most of the times. The eggs were runny and not well cooked. I had a 2 week stay so getting limited services and same food everyday leads to certain dissatisfaction. Overall a good and clean hotel to stay.

Other rooms had full fridges, kitchenettes, full couches, and plenty of space. Our room had a broken toilet, terrible shower w/ no pressure, no couch, a small mini fridge, and the bed and pillows were honestly awful. 0/10 would never come back.

• Tam (8/5): Average. - The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. The main area was clean. Room was a good size for 3 adults and a toddler. The rooms were dusty. There were dust bunnies on the baseboards and corners of the room. The carpet felt like it hadn’t been vacuumed. This was most noticeable on the side of the beds next to walls. The dishes/kitchen items were dusty and appeared to not have been used in a long time or washed but not rinsed well. Luckily we weren’t there long enough to really need to use the kitchen items. When checking in, I had to stand and wait at the front for someone for 15 mins. When checking out the employee wanted to argue with me on our check out date. We had originally booked for 3 nights but a month before arrival we had adjusted our trip to stay 2 nights. She finally adjusted our check out day but I felt questioned even though I had proof of the changes we made prior to arrival.
• Paradise235120 (10/5): We enjoyed The Element Hotel in Vaughan :) - My family and I booked 3 rooms here for one night for my nephews wedding. This hotel is a great option for overnight or long stays in this area. Lots of shopping near by and restaurants. The foyer and main areas of the hotel were very nice. The rooms we had were in the 5th floor, very clean and spacious. Lots of towels, extra soap and body lotion, and toilet paper. Our bathroom was beautiful clean and spacious. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was coffee and tea available in the room, lots of clean dishes to use as well as paper options to take your beverage to go. The breakfast included with our stay was delicious with lots of options for the whole family. I am very pleased with our stay and I would recommend this hotel, it was a good choice for me and my family. We felt comfortable, safe and it was in my opinion one of the cleanest hotels. Lastly, I would like to add, every staff member I encountered in this hotel was very hospitable, friendly and kind. They are doing a great job! Thank you Element Hotel, we enjoyed our stay and we’ll be back ;)

Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Priscilla at the front desk was lovely too. The rooms were well stocked with cutlery and crockery. Would really recommend this place to stay

The complimentary breakfast was actually a great selection which usually isn’t the case at most hotels. And for dinner, there are some restaurants right by the hotel which was so nice and convenient for us after a long day out and about. Also the cleaning staff were on the ball! They were so quick to provide extra pillows and replacement sheets and towels when needed. Thank you so much for the amazing experience Element Vaughan Southwest!!

When we arrived, our room wasn’t quite ready — but the staff immediately accommodated us by placing us in another beautiful suite until the one we booked was available. This level of service set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and felt just like a home away from home. Every request I made was met quickly and with a smile, and the team truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Breakfast each morning was amazing — fresh, high-quality, and something different every day, which we really appreciated. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into it. The staff were the highlight of our experience — warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you to the entire team for making our 5-night stay so wonderful and memorable!
• richerecloutier (10/5): Amazing place and generous breakfasts included - Breakfast are included and very generous in variety. There was always fruits, cereals, yogourt, cottage cheese, muffins, croissants and other pastries, three choices of juice, smoothie, English muffins, bagels, bread plus some hot choices different for each morning. On June 29 we had waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs, hashed browns potatoes. On June 30, it was oatmeal with a choice of dried fruits and nuts, roasted potatoes, fried or scrambled eggs cooked upon request , veggie omelette and turkey sausage. On July 1st we had pancakes cooked upon request, oatmeal, cheese omelette, sausage, hashed potatoes. Everything was delicious, the place was always clean and moreover, the ladies were really helpful, careful, and sweet even with a lot of people to serve. A special Bravo 👏 to Deeba who was really kind with us on July 1st and to the ladies who were really nice on June 29-30 (the ones making waffles and eggs ). I think there should be a tip jar available for the customers to tip when they are satisfied with the pleasant service as we did. I recommend this hotel 😉
• Jean (9/5): Worth a stay if need to be in the area. - Breakfast generally good but no waffles or decaf on Monday, made up with eggs how you like them. Annoying to have to log in to use the WiFi. Didn't find a bar not that we needed it. Kitchen & ironing board and iron in the room. Comfy beds. In the middle of an industrial estate. No mall or shopping area close by.

• Checkque (6/5): Nice Surprise with Built-In Water Filter, but Breakfast Could Be Better - This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that has a built-in drinking water filter—what a great surprise and nice bonus! The room size was decent, and I really liked the scent of their body wash. The parking lot is quite small, and the location is actually a bit far from Vaughan city center. That said, I wouldn’t bother with the free breakfast. The breakfast area was small and very crowded, with limited food choices. Every time the staff brought out fresh items, people rushed over like it was a race—for some egg and sausage… no thanks. I really appreciate the water filter idea, and after checking online, it looks like all Element hotels have this feature. I will definitely consider staying at an Element hotel again.
• H5860RClisat (10/5): Our Favorite Hotel - My family travels extensively for both our kids hockey. We stay in hotels nearly every other weekend. We have tried dozens of hotels. The Element Vaughan will always be our number one favorite. It is impeccably clean. Rooms are well appointed and spacious with full kitchens. The courtyard has a great area to enjoy some fresh air, outside activities or a BBQ on one of their provided grills. Breakfast is free and has great selections. Most importantly, what brings us back every time, the staff is wonderful. The front desk is courteous and welcoming, Priscilla always remembers our family and goes out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We have stayed several times with our children's hockey teams. The kitchen staff goes out of their way to open a few minutes early so our players can grab a quick bite before and early game. This time Alessia went above and beyond and had the kitchen provide "breakfast to go bags" for each girl as we had to leave for the game at 645. I cant say enough wonderful things about the staff at Element. These people truly care and go above and beyond!
