Offshore, chessstresk, 10th Ave burrito, and joes bagels. The stay was so clean so comfortable and thank you for Cord for making us feel so welcome. Will defy come again in the summer and fall Love the location, soooo very clean. Bed was so comfortable. Roku tv was so clutch and parking was included which is great!

Anna (10/5): - The home was beautifully restored, and the decor was airy with a beach theme. The hosts were lovely and accommodating and were extremely helpful in guiding us around in the area. It's a nice touch to have a choice for breakfast either homemade (for a charge) or you get a generous voucher to use at three local eateries. The beach is a 15 min walk away, and you can also drive/uber if you don't want to walk. The beach is lovely with a residential boardwalk. The town is two blocks away as is the Bel Mar train station. You can also walk to the marina where there are lovely restaurants for waterfront dining. We took the train to a concert on the Asbury Park boardwalk which was only two stops away. If you stay here, you can easily take the train or uber over to Asbury if you want more vibrant nightlife or music events. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable, we stayed in room #4. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the porch and the rocking chairs. Five stars all around.

Mimi (10/5): A beautiful stay in Belmar - This bed and breakfast is amazing. About a 10 minute walk to the beach, and 2 blocks from the Belmar Station. I stayed in Rambler 8 room. The room was spacious, modern, and so clean. A homemade breakfast is served every morning, along with coffee, orange juice and apple juice. Beach chairs, towels and tandem bikes are available to borrow. And they provide 2 beach tags to use while staying on the property. Dedra and Cord are so nice and accomodating.

The breakfast was delicious and gourmet. The location is good and the environment was very quite and peaceful, ideal to rest. The police of not cleaning up the room for security reasons was inconvenient for a 8 night’s stay. A bike rack would have been ideal for parking our bikes. Drawers and a closets were needed. We did not have room enough to leave our personal belongings and clothes.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at The Tandem Bike Inn. The hosts/owners, Dedra and Cord were wonderful. Dedra is super responsive to any questions or requests you may have about your stay. Which helped us out as I knew weed have a super late night check in, and they could accommodate that which was great! The place was immaculately clean! The room looked exactly like the pictures: beautiful! It was super close to Belmar Beach, literally walking distance. But they even have these adorable bikes you can borrow to ride there. That’s what we did and we had a blast. Breakfast was homemade and DELICIOUS!! My only complaint is that we only got to stay one night (that’s on us though, not on the Inn lol). Seriously, can’t recommend this place enough. It was my first time ever staying at a B&B, and I throughly enjoyed it!! Next time we visit in this area, you bet this is where I will be booking our stay! P. S. Be sure to try Dedra’s cookies! Soooo good!!

Our Sunday night stay on Labor Day weekend was over $500. Things have gotten rediculous for lodging on the East Coast—especially mid-Atlantic and Nottheast over the past five years. Rates are just insane from my point of view.

Issue with our TV not working upon checking in but owners did get another smaller one as replacement. Need blackout curtains for those that like complete darkness. Jay (10/5): Most Relaxing Vacation!!! - If anyone is looking for an amazing summer beach vacation getaway, my wife and I highly recommend the Tandem Bike Inn and Belmar, NJ. Discovered this gem while searching for a beach vacation spot back in February. Every single review was perfect. 10/10, 5 stars out of 5. No complaints. Literally! The Inn and the Innkeepers, Dedra and Cord, lived up to and exceeded their reviews, not only with the accommodations of the Inn itself, but also with their hospitality, their friendliness, and oh their amazing breakfasts! On top of that, they provided beach tags, chairs, umbrellas, and bikes to get around town for for the week. With the bikes and the train, we only moved the car once during the week. Belmar is one of the best places to vacation on the Jersey Shore. The town, its beach, its boardwalk, and its restaurants are all top notch. It’s not the stereotypical “Jersey Shore” vibe. We knew that going in but were blown away at how relaxing and picturesque Belmar would really be. We enjoyed taking the NJ commuter trains up and down the coast to see the other Jersey Shore boardwalk towns that fit that stereotype. One of our most relaxing and enjoyable vacations ever. ❤️

Robert (10/5): Charming Anniversary getaway… - Welcoming, comfortable, friendly, spacious, impeccably maintained and spotless. Wraparound porch with seating and the common area is very nice for just hanging out and reading. Ann and Mike are gracious hosts. Breakfast was very special and all homemade. Thank you Our room was a quiet retreat. And the area is close to restaurants and bars. Beach is a short 2 minute drive with plenty of parking available. We read previous reviews and saw very high reviews. We were lucky to get a reservation on our special weekend. Next time we will book early. All positive things to report
Blagusz (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely gourmet. Surprised by a breakfast 'appetizer', which was just a teaser for what followed. Enjoyed a nice conversation with fellow travelers on the wrap-around porch. Borrowed a tandem bike. Host prepared us appropriately (his dry humor was a bonus) and we thoroughly enjoyed our ride to the beach, where we also checked out a restaurant and ultimately dined.

Amy (10/5): A quite, relaxing weekend catching up with friends - Ann Marie’s cooking was fantastic! Mike’s hospitality was amazing as well. The thoughtfulness they put into the rooms/ house and how convenient and comfortable it was superseded all expectations. We loved it!! Everything was amazing! Wouldn’t change a thing
Jill (9/5): Tandem Bike in is a clean cozy and very comfortable stay. - This place is extremely clean. The house is tastefully decorated the breakfast is very nice (I wanted the recipe for the baked French toast) and the hosts are very welcoming. I can’t say I “didn’t like” anything. It would be nice if they had more snacks homemade items out beverages when guests arrive, that would be a nice touch. The cookie in the room was good though. Also it would be nice to offer 2 options for breakfast if someone wanted eggs or savory foods.

Laurie (10/5): We’d give it an 11 out of 10 if we could. - Breakfast was excellent: great food enjoyed on the porch. We found especially charming the owners’ grandkids who helped out in serving. We also loved the use of bikes, which were included in the stay. We did not take advantage of other included features, such as beach tags, towels, etc. The owners were friendly and helpful. Nothing! There were no negatives.

Lisa (10/5): A real gem in Belmar, NJ - Beautiful and immaculate inn that feels like home in a fantastic location. Very friendly and helpful hosts with excellent breakfasts. I highly recommend this inn and will return. You can walk to the beach as well as walk to all the great restaurants in Belmar!
Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was very nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Ann Marie and Mike are very friendly and do all they can to make your stay unforgettable. My room had a jacuzzi, which I loved. They have bikes and on-site as well as street parking. Restaurants very close by. Will be back!!!!!!

The place is beautiful, clean, the breakfast beats all-was so good and served beautifully, we felt at home. Short walk to long, sandy beach, and Broad-walk. Everything that you need is there. Definitely would like to come back.

Teresa (10/5): Another wonderful weekend getaway! - Our first stay was back in 2021 (see review "Wonderful getaway during COVID pandemic!!") and we enjoyed two other stays that year. It was so nice to spend another weekend at Mike and Anne Marie's place, especially after continuing to work from home the last couple of years. The breakfast that was served in the dining area was excellent, with "appetizers" of freshly baked scones or muffins, along with fresh fruit and/or yogurt and granola, followed by a hot main course that was a meal in itself!! We enjoyed walking it off by visiting some of the nearby shops along Main Street.

The location is less than 2 blocks from train station and stores and 4-5 walkable blocks from beach in a pleasant area. The safe lock needed, and will get, attention.
