- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location & Incredible Staff - This hotel was a safe and welcoming place to land during a very scary and stressful time for me and my daughter during our Paris vacation in June. Wangmo greeted us at check in and made us feel immediately welcome and took extra care to make our stay comfortable. The area around the hotel is amazing - restaurants, easy access to metro stations and an incredible bakery up the street. Breakfast spread was wonderful - my daughter is still talking about the scrambled eggs. I can't wait to return to Paris and this hotel and the incredible staff will always be a part of our itinerary. Thank you so much.
- Nicola (8/5): - This hotel has the potential to be absolutely brilliant I don’t quite understand how it has been awarded 4 stars. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room but no mugs so I took some paper cups from reception. The towels were very standard not very big or very thick and they never smelled freshly washed. The room itself was clean and tidy however the bathroom needed some work e.g. the shower screen did not close so wasn’t water tight and the skirting boards had some serious water damage. Everywhere needed dusting skirting boards etc had a thick layer of dust that you could visibly see (no one is clearly doing spot checks) and the sliding doors to the bathroom/toilet were covered in water marks that clearly hadn’t been wiped down in quite sometime. It was very budget hotel standards for 4 stars. The air conditioning/heating unit made an awful noise that seemed to get worse and sounded like a phone vibrating every few minutes or a ship fog horn. Please do not get me wrong it was fine for a budget hotel and the bed was very comfortable but this was not budget hotel and I would not recommend to a friend or stay again. Someone mentioned to us that the hotel had almost finished their renovation save for the stairs I find this hard to believe giving the state of the bathroom!

We weren’t told they were having a renovation, or that the lift was broke (we were on the 6th floor). The stairs were littered with tripping hazards (vacuum cleaners and cleaning equipment everywhere) and really unsafe. We would have had to find alternative accommodation if we had our kids with us. A great place to stay… once the renovations are completed!

However, there is absolutely NO sound proofing in the rooms so prepare to hear EVERYTHING that your neighbour does! There was also a strange door between my room into the neighbouring room, and although locked, it wasn’t clear whether it could be unlocked from the other side or not, so I did not feel it was particularly safe or secure.

- Sandra Elizabeth (10/5): - From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were greeted with warmth and even allowed to check in early since our room was ready. We stayed in Room 01, conveniently located next to reception, which was ideal for me due to my knee issues. However, if you're a light sleeper, you might want to choose a different room, as you can hear guests checking in and out, as well as the staff preparing for breakfast. My family and I weren’t disturbed at all—we can sleep through anything! The room itself was spacious, as was the bathroom. The staff were incredibly attentive; Wangmo noticed me struggling to walk and kindly offered ice for my knees and helped me to my chair. I had read the positive reviews before booking, and I can confirm they are accurate. The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure their guests are comfortable. The location is excellent, with plenty of shops nearby and just a 5-minute walk to the metro or bus stop. We would definitely stay here again. I usually don't write reviews, but I was so impressed by the level of care that I felt compelled to share my experience. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay!

The only complains is that there is no standup shower in the bathroom (only a bathtub) so the floor gets wet when you wash your hair. But other than that we had a very happy stay. 2 minutes walk to Moulin Rogue and the metro station and plenty eateries around. Very happy about the location.

My neighbors check in at 1 am and woke me up by slamming doors and loudly speaking! You should let people know to be quiet at night, because most of the customers would like to get a good sleep!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Stayed in March 2024 - The Hotel is in a great location, it is only 30 min walk to Louvre, 5 min walk to Moulin Rouge and metro station. Loads of places to eat around and only 15 min walk to Lafayette shopping centre. The hotel itself is quite small and I’m not sure it meets the 4 star standards, breakfast selection quite limited too. The staff is really nice and friendly though, nothing was too much to ask for, lovely to deal with.

The rooms are small but really well thought-out with everything you need and a decent shower. The breakfast is served in what used to be the cellar so exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings etc which is very cool, although quite cramped.

But it’s clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, it’s really close to the Moulin Rouge and about 10-15 minutes walk to the Opera area. We would stay here again.

- Patricia (8/5): - Very convenient location. 15 min walk to Montmartre. Lots of restaurant to choose from. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a bit old. The sink shelf was crooked so the towels kept sliding down and since the location is in the middle of bars and restaurants, it can get pretty noisy at night. The bed was comfortable and we got everything we needed. The hotel also provides filtered water. If you bring your own bottle, you can fill it up at the lobby and there is also a variety of tea and coffee drinks free of charge. I highly recommmend staying at this hotel if you are not extremely picky.

- Kelly (8/5): Lovely modern hotel near restaurants - I stayed with my partner for two nights. Check in easy and the staff were lovely. Free coffee and tea in the lobby as well as a water fountain to fill bottles or cups. Room was mostly clean but our feet were dirty walking barefoot on the laminate flooring. The bed was comfy and room decor very nice. We did have an issue with the shower door leaking which meant we pretty much flooded the whole room before noticing, and had to mop up with towels. Unfortunately reception was not able to access fresh towels for us so moved us to another room, we were really happy with how it was dealt with. The shower doors open inwards and outwards so don't really seal properly so it's important to point the shower away from the door as much as possible. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Moulin Rouge and all transport networks. We parked in St Denis Indigo car park near the RER station and bought tickets for the tram and metro which took us to the station 5 mins from the hotel.

- Josephine (8/5): - We stayed in adjoining rooms 306 and 307. The rooms are small and quaint, but are quite up to date including plumping features. Beds were comfortable. There are blackout drapes, but the installation is a little too far out from the window allowing for some street light noise and morning light to come in. We made it a bit better by leaning items against the walls and drapes on either side and clipping them together at the centre. The windows are new, so my guess is that the street noise is coming in from the surrounding frame, but not all that bad - 306 was worse as it is facing the street, and 307 was facing the back courtyard. The AC was a small issue as a vibration would occur every few minutes. This was fixed quickly, but returned again a day or two later then fixed again quickly. The TVs are equipped with Chromecasts, but the instructions weren’t clear that the input must be changed. This required the use of the original TV remote in which only one of the rooms had. The shower temperature valve in room 306 remained in the max hot temperature setting. This didn't end up being fixed during our stay - we just used the shower in the adjoining room. Overall, it was a decent stay.

The staff has been excellent and we enjoyed walking to Moulin Rouge, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Arch de Triumph...all in one day. Food options are abundant. Parking is available in a nearby garage, but it is a tight fit and you need a GPS to get to it due to all the one-way roads (going to opposite way you need to go). Our room is very small, but nice, and has no fridge. The lobby has a small amount of drink options, but they have no ice on the premises. In the end, nice stay and I would recommend it for a night or two.

- Julieta (8/5): Magical Paris all metro for a girls trip - It located in a very touristic and connected area. However very noisy at night . Not crazy but not silent for sleeping. The hotel is great clean people kind and always helping.
- Michelle (8/5): Boutique Experience - This hotel has a cool vibe/decor! Our room was unique in design and felt romantic, especially the window that leads to the little balcony overlooking the city (we were in the top floor corner room and the only one with a balcony). Breakfast was great and really enjoyed the atmosphere in the cellar area. The negatives would be that there’s nowhere close to park on arrival to unload (only parking garages that are several blocks away) and then our room didn’t have a shower - only a bathtub - which was very surprising! Otherwise we enjoyed our time here and the location was nice (close to restaurants, metro, and Moulin Rouge). Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a very Parisian & boutique experience and not a big chain hotel.

- Alistair (10/5): Happy Culture ~ Happy Stay 😆 - One of the cheaper Paris hotels on Hotels.com. Wasn’t expecting much. Lovely, lovely hotel. Excellent location, just down the road from Blanche Metro and Moulin Rouge (check out the fantastic boulangerie (Aux Delices de Moulin) just up the street. Relaxing reception area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely stay here again!

The location is great, near nice restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and metro stations. The rooms / bathrooms are impeccable. The decor is quaint, lively, colourful, and fun. Breakfasts are varied and delicious coffee and fresh pastries and bread are available on top of eggs and sausage and cereal and cold cuts. But beyond the cleanliness, the decor and the location, I want to emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone was pleasant, friendly, and just overall lovely. This small hotel is a true gem.
