Prior to our stay, I contacted the hotel to ask about airport pickup and gluten-free breakfast options, but I did not receive any response. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the advertised airport shuttle service and the positive reviews about the breakfast. Unfortunately, both aspects were disappointing. Compared to a previous hotel we stayed at in Miami—which was less expensive, in better condition, and offered a much better breakfast—this stay did not meet our expectations.

- Laura (5/5): Would not stay here again - The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a good sleep. The breakfast was terrible. It is all ultra-processed rubbish apart from apples and bananas. Ice machine on our floor was broken. Noise from the corridor is loud, doors are flimsy and not good sound insulation. The shuttle will only pick you up if you phone before 9.30pm. We phoned at 9.50pm and were told it was already too late to be picked up, after being stuck in US immigration for 2 hours.

- TRACEY (10/5): Awful central team. Great hotel staff - The hotel itself were amazing and the hotel gorgeously clean. However we were told to call from the airport where a shuttle bus would pick us up. When you call and reception are busy the call goes to a central booking team who were totally and utterly useless! It took 20 mins to find my booking (on my uk phone may I add). Wanted to give me another number to call for a shuttle and then wanted to mess around trying to sign me up to IAG group. We then waited one hour and by chance the hourly bus came and we flagged it down. The driver said he had had no call. I have a disability and was waiting in the 85degrees heat…..shameful and total incompetence!!! The hotel staff however were amazing! If you book press 0 and it takes you straight to the hotel reception. I wish I knew this earlier! The central booking team…………incompetent and appallingly bad!!!

The transportation company that was reserved by the front desk staff for our cruise never showed up. After 1 hour and a half, the front desk staff were very curt and said it didn’t matter that they didn’t show up…to order an uber. So- beware! Just get an uber no matter what.

- Genius Level 99 (5/5): OK hotel but horrible communication skills - Spacious room. Coffee. Snack market. The shuttle back to the airport. Complete lack of communication skills regarding the airport shuttle. The hotel.didn't provide any instructions beforehand, except "call us" to our local number, which is diffcult for a tourist without a local SIM. On the phone, a guy with an Indian accent and a lady with a Spanish accent weren't giving us clear instructions, resulting in a significant delay when arriving to the hotel. An email with clear instructions would be great! The security deposit was not yet returned after 1 day. The room & floor tiles were too cold.
