We liked the easy access to the bike trail, the feeling of solitude and quiet--as well as the cleanliness, the windows, the little balcony that overlooked the trees. We would ask for the same room #30 in the future.

- Kathleen (10/5): We are already planning our next stay!! - I celebrated my birthday here with family and it was my first time staying there. I can't wait to stay again! The staff was amazing, they upgraded our room and made our stay so enjoyable with their hospitality. The kids and adults utilized all the outdoor amenities, I never knew how good I was at corn hole! The pool is huge to say the least! My best memories as a child were vacations with my family on Cape Cod, it felt like that, but new. You don't find gems like this anymore. Hands down 5 stars.

- Gretchen (10/5): - Our stay was effortless. Quick check in. Three suggestions. 1- the tv is small. If your laying in bed, the bed across from the bath, you can't see it. View is obstructed by the wall. It should be on the wall next to bath. 2- the bathroom needs a shelf or 2. Nowhere to put toiletries. 3- there are no garbadge receptacles outside any rooms. We were smokers and didn't want to bring extinguished ciggs in the room make it smell.

- Jenn (10/5): - I honestly cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Eventide. Our room was very tiny (definitely going for a suite next year), but very clean and the fridge was bigger than a standard hotel fridge, which was so helpful for us, as we traveled with a lot of food to bring to the beach each day to save money. The in-room coffee was surprisingly excellent and at 8am you can get coffee in the lobby (this is late for us, as we have an early-rising kiddo). The grounds are meticulously maintained and so great for families with kids--lots of outdoor activities available: ladder ball, play ship, shuffleboard, horseshoes, mini golf, volleyball, basketball. Easy access to the bike trail is key. The staff was exceptional--so friendly and such hard workers keeping the place so incredibly clean. The indoor pool was lovely (also very clean). We are already looking forward to our return trip next year.

- Andrew (6/5): - The Motel is old school but the rooms are updated and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. They had a laundry room but it’s a walk from the Motel and is rundown and hot. It would be a big improvement to the property if the laundry was a clean place among the rooms. I heard this also from the folks that do come back. Great place if yo7 have kids.

It happens Best part was the central location for the National Seashore and 35 minute walk to Marconi Beach. Great eats nearby, drive in is down the road, Cape Cod League games within 30 minutes

We also walked to the Marconi Beach (25 min) on a path through a wooded area. It was a healthy walk but we needed the exercise and the beach was beautiful. It was also nice to have a refridgerator in the room, the only minor negative was that the AC unit was a ittle quirky. The place is super family friendly.

- Clifford (10/5): Repeat guest after honeymoon 25 years ago. - We stayed at this hotel 25 years ago this month. We loved it then and loved it now. Staff was professional and friendly, The room was clean, comfortable and large. The hotel is conveniently located and is close to beaches, bike path and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

The little details were so appreciated- well designed space, spotless clean and soft towels, the blackout curtains that could be pulled over the blinds. We will go back!

There was also so much to do on the premises, corn hole, horseshoes, shuffleboard, mini golf, badminton. Grills to cook on, laundry facility was a huge plus. The huge indoor pool is spectacular and so clean. I honestly cant say enough about this place. We certainly will be back and i am recommending this place to everyone. Thank you Eventides forca wonderful vacation. Ten stars in my book

- James (10/5): Nice place, well located - Room was very clean, we opted not to have daily room cleaning, but the people were out every morning. Bed (a Queen) was actually pretty comfortable. TV was a bit small, but I wasn't really there to watch TV. You can walk to "Marconi Beach", it's about 1.5 miles, however; you're walking through small paths in the woods. At the registration desk is a QRC code to scan which gives directions to the beach - I, of course, didn't do that. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, specifically (shock!) fish places. I would go back.

The location was tucked away from the road and a felt very safe. The only issues were that the bathroom was small and the sheets were a bit scratchy but I still slept well. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

The indoor pool was nice and the outdoor space is amazing. The staff are super friendly and down to earth. There are alot of great restaurants very close to the hotel. It was also quiet and we never heard anyone around us. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Layout was great. The property was nicely setup and family friendly. Plenty of parking. Even for my big pickup. Nice LARGE indoor swimming pool. Very comfortable feel. Don’t pay attention to the bs reviews. I’m glad I took a chance because it was the best place we stayed our entire vacation. Thanks again for the hospitality. We WILL come back to visit.

- Patrick (10/5): Family vacay - We had a family weekend here on the Cape, just before the summer rush. Everything was great. The highlights were the enormous pool and the games and activities for the kids (shuffle board, horseshoes, basketball, etc.). The location is great, right off the main road. The room was clean and comfortable room, free parking. Friendly family staff at the front desk. We used the sofa bed as well, and it was comfortable too. No breakfast, but there was coffee at the front desk. Overall, a great place to stay. We'll probably be back here at some point.

When I mentioned this to the owners son, he apologized, gave me a local restaurant gift card, and assured me they do have larger rooms, and to ask specifically for one the next time we come!

If you have kids there is an excellent play ground and basketball court. There are a few cabins also if you are bringing the whole family. The pool was a little chilly but other than that everything was perfect! 10/10 we had a great time!

The mattress was on the hard side so we asked if we could switch rooms, but since they were so full they didn’t have that option. In order to make our stay the best it could be they got us a mattress topper which did the job and to boot they gave us a $50 gift card to a near by Resturant! Excellent service and a wonderful place to stay! I will book there again next year for sure!!!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a very cozy resort, nestled next to woods and a bike/walking trail, close to a gas station, drug store, wonderful bakery/coffee shop, and many more. It was quiet and our room was immaculate.. It was a 'home away from home'. The only issue was the air conditioner - the unit was extremely loud; just ask for a fan instead. There was a biking fundraiser bringing hundreds of bikers to the surrounding area - it was extremely well organized and did not impact traffic at all - all bikes ride only on the bike path area and were directed around the main roads by police and volunteers. We would 'hands-down' book it again if visiting Wellfleet!

- Joseph (10/5): Excellent Family Resort - We had a wonderful stay , despite the 48 degrees and rain! Bob and his family are excellent hosts, great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The pool was warm and lots of fun. We will be back !
