My daughter was graduating from Rollins and I was able finally to get two rooms. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in the best location you could ever want. The staff is so nice and the rooms and facility are top notch. The food was delicious and James at the pool bar is hands down the best bartender / craftsman / mixologist that I have ever met and I was a liquor supplier / broker for 20 years. I have met many and hired many but this guy is an artist. Go get a drink even if you don’t use the beautiful pool. Go to this gorgeous place. You will not be disappointed!

We were able to walk to many restaurants and shops and also a boat tour on the water from the hotel. This is a great location. The food that we ordered from Hamilton's kitchen was very tasty and fresh. The pool attendant was very friendly.

A charming artsy boutique hotel, full of elegant style, and vibrant color. Upon arrival I was greeted by Valentina and Daniella who were most welcoming and friendly. The facilities are excellent, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the Orlando area who might want a change of pace from the typical resort hotels.

The rooms are perfectly suited for a retreat or work conference. The worst part of the stay was peeling myself out of the amazingly comfortable beds every morning to make it to the conference on time! The food was not just good, it was over the top and an experience in and of itself! Location, you cant beat it! The service is spot on, immaculately clean, and all the amenities are top notch! Planning to purchase a gift card for my Mom who lives in Florida to visit as a Staycation!

When we arrived we had to wait several hours before we could get into a room- a room less nice than the one we had reserved. The person assisting us was inhospitable and dismissive. Also we were charged for the higher accommodation after being assured the lower rate room would apply. What an unrelaxing experience.

The rooms were perfectly cleaned every single day, the hotel is beautiful, and every detail was spot on. Super clean. Food and beverage exceeded expectations at every meal in the restaurant and at the event. The banquet team was outstanding—attentive, professional, and a true partner throughout. Michael and Amber in sales were incredible, and the valet and front desk teams were equally polished and welcoming—I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. A few of us also came early for a little R&R. The spa pool is amazing, great service there too. And Easter Brunch was not only beautiful but the variety of incredible food was amazing. If you are coming for a special occasion, a meeting, a get away weekend or a conference, this is the place to be. So impressed! Top to bottom.

saloSFL (4/5): Stunning property, invisible management — a masterclass in missed opportunities - We arrived at the Alfond Inn for my niece’s wedding — a special occasion, three rooms booked, excitement in the air. What followed was a study in how a beautiful hotel can systematically undermine itself through indifferent systems and absent leadership. Before arrival: Try calling the reservation line with a question. You won’t reach a person. An automated system will cheerfully promise a callback within 24–48 hours. For a hotel in the hospitality business, that’s a curious first impression. Check-in: We were greeted warmly by Jessica at the front desk, a genuine bright spot. However, we learned that even though I was prepared to pay for all three rooms, I couldn’t check into my daughters’ rooms without being formally added as an authorized guest. A quick phone call resolved it, but the policy left me with a thought: I could have called anyone and the outcome would have been identical. Security theater dressed up as procedure. The early check-in situation: My wife had called ahead to explain that our daughters were bridesmaids who needed time to get ready. The hotel acknowledged this and said they’d do their best. Had it only be true! What we weren’t prepared for was learning at check-in that while guests must vacate by 11am, rooms aren’t technically available until 4pm. For a fully booked hotel with a 5-hour turnover window, that math deserves some scrutiny. The afternoon: One room came through at 12:30, only for us to discover the AC wasn’t working. This is a basic expectation, not a luxury, and finding a non-functional AC in a freshly turned room is simply not acceptable. Engineering did come and resolved it by closing some valves, and to their credit they were responsive. But a room should never have been released to a guest in that condition in the first place. The other rooms, the ones the bridesmaids needed to get ready in, remained in a Schrödinger’s state: housekeeping was either on it, or not. No one could say. And there’s “no way to find out.” The manager: At 12:30pm, with a full house and guests in various states of distress, there was no manager on property. He had left. I’ll let that speak for itself. I want to be clear: I’m not writing this because rooms weren’t ready on time. Hotels get busy. Weddings are complicated. I get it. I’m writing this because at no point did anyone demonstrate that they cared, not with urgency, not with communication, not with basic empathy. The Alfond Inn seems to have forgotten it’s in the hospitality business. The exceptions worth naming: Banquet managers Jessica and Steve saw what was unfolding and actually stepped in to help. They understood the assignment. Engineering responded when called. If the rest of the operation had that same sense of ownership, this would be a very different review. A beautiful property. A wedding weekend. And a management structure that wasn’t there for any of it.

donschaffer (10/5): Perfect Hotel - Perfect hotel. Located 2 blocks from Park Avenue, close but without the noise. Stylish, art filled interior. Spacious and light filled. Stayed in standard king room which was spacious. Good HVAC system with no noise. Reasonable price for what you get. Had breakfast at onsite restart which was good. Didn’t try the spa. There are business conferences but they didn’t impact our stay. Valet parking. Would stay again.

Although I am a frequent guest, I never tire of the amazing hospitality that the Inn provides. It truly provides a one of a kind experience in the heart of Winter Park. The reservation team, front desk team, management staff, food and beverage and valet are all specialist in their own right. The entire team is second to none and always make me feel as if I have arrived to my home away from home.

Roam44423838121 (6/5): Loud, thin walls, overnight elevator maintenance - do not recommend - Room 421 by the elevator is extremely loud - in particular if there is a wedding at the hotel. They also did elevator maintenance from 3:00-4:30 AM (yes, in the middle of the night) including power drills. The walls are thin and you will hear everything. There were women filming TikTok videos in the hallway at night and even moved tables from their rooms out to the hallway. Maybe the rooms away from the elevators would be ok, but we will never be back. Horrible, horrible experience.
239SWFLNATIVE (2/5): Not Clean - The hotel room bathroom needed to be cleaned more thoroughly. There was thick mold growing around the bathtub. Makes you wonder about the rest of the room. It would take 10-20 minutes to scrape out the mold and recaulk. The day manager would not speak with me when I asked for her/him. They Sent the head of housekeeping instead. $500 a night is not worth an unclean room and for staff/manager not to care. I will spend my money elsewhere. By the way, I was there to see my Hospice Father in law. Not a vacation.
KaceyS919 (10/5): Beautiful, Clean, and Updated Hotel - Beautiful and clean hotel. Staff was nice and check in and out was super fast. The rooms were super clean with updated decor. If you like art, there is plenty around the hotel to see. This hotel is walking distance to Park Ave and the Winter Park Boat Tour (don't miss that). The only downside was that you can request a room with a better view, but no guarantee. We got a view of an ugly rooftop, which made me think a rooftop garden would be perfect there. It was no big deal though, I would definitely stay here again.

Vasariana (10/5): Outstanding Casual Elegance - A first-rate, beautifully-designed and appointed hotel on the edge of Rollins College and 2-blocks walking distance to the main center of Winter Park Fl. Service is impeccable as are the amenities both in the rooms and generally (i.e., dining, spa, pool, grounds, etc...). Rooms are quite and very spacious with all the details one might want attended to ahead of time. My daughter and I stayed here during a recent visit for accepted students at Rollins College. A nice business model they have, also, is that all proceeds to go scholarship funds at the College for students. Highly recommend.

We did not eat there but did enjoy drinks at the bar. It’s located close to Central Park, so it’s easy walking distance to many of Winter Park’s restaurants and attractions
janetdC1494QK (8/5): Superb conference venue - excellent food and service - vegan options - This beautiful hotel was a fabulous place for our conference. Impeccable cleanliness. We enjoyed five-star cuisine for our banquet meals. I only suggest that the hotel offer more plant-based, gluten-free, dairy free menu options at the hotel restaurant for those of us who eat plants. The two vegan menu options available were incredibly delicious, but not enough protein. (Entree - roasted butternut squash, and the pumpkin soup.)

MarkW15 (8/5): Had a great time at The Alfond - Beautifully designed hotel with wonderful contemporary art collection throughout the public areas. The Winter Park location near Park Avenue is fantastic. The Classic King with Balcony was beautiful and very well laid out. The only complaint regarding the room is that water pressure is weak and the shower has a very small, ordinary showerhead and no hand shower. The onsite restaurant had decent breakfast.

The service is attentive and friendly, the rooms are lovely and the pool is great for some adult wind down (meaning, there were not a lot of kids). I love that they have glass bottles of water and a filtered refill on every floor. Finally a hotel that does the right thing for the environment and the health of its visitors!

Sharishoe (10/5): Great time with friends - We enjoyed a terrific time at the Alfond Hotel in Winter Park, FL. We purchased the package including a boat ride and visit to the Charles Morse museum. The hotel is comfortable yet upscale and elevated. The rooms are bright, have all the necessities and homey. The restaurant Hamilton's was vibrant, tasty and our server was great. WE loved hanging out in the common spaces as the art displayed was so interesting and unique.
164danielleh (8/5): Perfect Loacation - While our room was spacious and clean, and the balcony was wonderful, there were several details that appeared to be overlooked during our stay. We were provided with only two coffee cups and four coffee pods, and these were not refreshed or cleaned until I specifically requested it. In addition, we were not informed that housekeeping services would occur every other day, which resulted in our needing to call for fresh towels. We were also told that food and beverage service would be available at the pool; however, on multiple occasions no staff member was present. On the day that service was available—particularly with James assisting—the experience was excellent and demonstrated the level of service we had been expecting.

Also: Pool is nicely appointed Our room was pretty basic but did include a nice feature to get very nice sparkling or still water via glass jars left on the desk. paolaoY9312VG (2/5): Not a joyful experience: missing earphones - Earphones were never found. The manager, Michael Briggs, is replying in the public reviews as if they were found, but that is not true. The day before leaving, no cleaning service was done in my room. After I asked them twice throughout the day, it was not until the third time that I requested my room to be cleaned (it was almost 7 PM) that someone came up to help. The only thing I asked for was at least some new towels and sheets. While he was doing the cleaning, I went down for 15 minutes, allowing him to finish so I could have dinner in my room. When I went back up, he was gone. I started packing my stuff, and my earphones were nowhere to be found. The general manager at night was not empathetic and said there was nothing he could do at this point and that I had to wait for the next day to ask the front desk. I also asked to see the security cameras either from the gym (they don’t have any) or the halls outside my room, but they didn’t give me any access. I also asked to speak to José (who did the cleaning) to see if he had seen anything, but he was already gone. I had no support from any area of the hotel (front desk, restaurant, housekeeping). I spent all night walking around the hotel asking different employees and trying to see if, by any chance, they had fallen in other spots (restaurant, halls, spa) or if someone found them at the gym (which I was pretty sure I did not leave them there, but I was desperate at this point, and it was already midnight). I did not take them anywhere else but to the gym that day and back to my room. I am very disappointed because even on the last day when we checked out, I spoke to a girl with glasses and curly hair at reception, and she was very defensive and insensitive. She told me I probably lost them somewhere else. So, basically, nothing had been found, and it may have been my fault. This is upsetting that no responsibility was taken on their part. Update January 9th, 2026 My earphones were never found and are still missing. I am not sure why the operation manager is answering as if my earphones were found, which is not true! They were never located and are still missing. I spoke to the manager, Valentina, who was very kind to us. However, I called to see if, after I returned to my hometown, they had found something (I was still hopeful) because they told me they would keep me updated, but they didn’t. They informed me again that they hadn’t found anything and that they were sorry for what happened. There was no accountability or courtesy offered to me or my family. No expenses were discounted, or anything other than just an apology was offered. To be honest, I was expecting them to try to make amends in some way, but that wasn’t the case. The only thing she offered was that on my next stay, she would ensure I was treated beautifully and pampered. I truly wanted to return because this town is magical, and Valentina was very nice to my family since the day we arrived (I can see she has a beautiful and kind soul), but not all her team were the same. I hope to go back someday to erase this bad experience from my memory and replace it with a dream vacation weekend. If I ever go back, I will definitely share my experience of feeling valued at this hotel, as she promised. However, I seriously doubt it.

DaytonaDeb (10/5): The Crown Jewel of Winter Park - The Alfond Inn sits three blocks away from the popular Park Avenue, with its many restaurants and shops, but is a world away. She is elegant, welcoming and well appointed. Our room was beautiful and beds comfortable. What a treat it was to stay at this beautiful hotel.

We found the guest rooms beautiful and very comfortable. We had an excellent nights sleep each night. The beautiful decorations put us into the Christmas spirit, and we loved seeing all of the art work. We will always stay here in the future on our visits to Orlando.

There was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we checked in and I had to call the front desk at 3 am to bring it to the room, but they brought it right up. I alerted the hotel on check out. I would stay there again, I would just check for toilet paper immediately on check in.

Very clean, incredibly comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, professional and friendly staff. The food is wonderful in the restaurant. An added bonus - they contribute to the scholarship fund at Rollins - what an amazing thing! I can't say enough about this hotel - we will definitely be back.

Ydania and Angie were absolutely wonderful warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. They guided us through every area with genuine enthusiasm, making sure we felt welcome and informed. Their kindness and excellent customer service stood out throughout the entire visit. Thanks to them, the tour was not only relaxing but also truly enjoyable. Cost for hotel guest half day spa pass is $$. Cocktails at the pool bar: 2 mojitos and 2 Virgin mojitos = $90 seems excessive for a hotel guest. Room lovely, front desk staff welcoming, hotel itself attractive, delicious breakfast, friendly valets. Room cost was fine but the extras seemed excessive.

pauljH953VS (10/5): Amazing Property away from the mouse trap. - The property is 2 blocks away from Park Ave which has the best shopping and dining in Orlando. You can walk everywhere. If you live in Orlando you shop and dine on Park Ave. The property is absolutely stunning. The rooms are fantastic and the restaurants and bar are great. We sat outside in the courtyard for drinks and enjoyed the evening this time. I lived in Orlando for 25 years and now live in West Palm Beach. When go up for UCF games this is where we stay.

B6833ARjc (6/5): A Very Meh Bar Experience (Surprising, due to Quality Hotel - I came in to meet friends for drinks and dinner on Friday night. It is a beautiful hotel lobby bar in a gorgeous hotel. I had checked out the menu online - and was excited. The food menu is fantastic. We (Me plus 3 others) enjoyed the delicious chicken and dumpling soup, corn bread, Lamb, Wagu Short Rib, etc. All very tasty, plate presentation was excellent. But the BAR PORTION of the experience was not nearly up to par... It took us ( 4) about 7-8 minutes just to get perfunctory eye contact. (Two bartenders walked by us without even looking up - and it was not all that busy). Finally, a slim and petite female bartender (Indian descent?) greeted us and took our order. The menu had 3-4 vodka drinks ( which seems like a lot - for an 8-10 drink menu). They didn't have a single bourbon cocktail on the menu - again, strange for a hotel lobby bar in the fall. She didn't suggest anything - or describe anything. My date had a delicious Apple spice cocktail - the rum/cognac cranberry cocktail was terrible. One of the them was returned, the other - was left alone after two sips ( no one wanted to be difficult. FWIW, two of my guests are in the Food & Beverage industry - but aren't excessively picky. We go out to enjoy, not to find flaw). We were at the bar for 90 minutes, enjoying the food and our reunion - but were struck by the lack of attentiveness and engagement from the bar staff. They almost only spoke to each other - not guests - and our engagements with them were perfunctory and almost monosyllabic. Our bartender looked VERY stiff when shaking a cocktail - almost as if she hadn't done it before ( she was pleasant, though - and seemed to be doing a lot more work than the other bar staff). The other bartenders seemed to never look up at guests - and there was no passion, engagement, warmth expressed. No style or flair in creating, shaking, stirring of cocktails. The other drinks we sampled were fairly bland - and the presentation wasn't all that inspiring or visually appealing ( except the Apple Spice Vodka one previously mentioned). Anyhow , it was surprising at how MEH the bar portion of our night was. This is a 4 Star hotel - and you'd think the bar game and talent and warmth of the bar staff- would match the food experience, and the visual beauty of the hotel. It definitely didn't. I just moved to Winter Park - and there are some GREAT bars here. You'd think the hotel would want to keep guests at THEIR bar - giving them a great experience. And while the food is excellent - the BEVERAGE portion of F&B was - at best - as the kids say "67" - but closer to 6.

Staff knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Room beautiful and clean - It is nice to know that proceeds go to the college. One extra was our waiter at breakfast sang Happy Birthday to me in Venezulean. :-) There was nothing that we did not like. One little thing was that the WIFI password was not displayed in the room so we had to call guest services. But that was a minor thing. Everything else top notch!!!

H6093PKjoycep (10/5): Anniversary special. - My husband and I stayed at the Alfond to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The concierge, Lauren; paid extra attention to details. She greeted us upon arrival and took our bags since we arrived prior to check in. She walked us to the Spa where my husband and I spent the afternoon. We enjoyed a couples massage and a lovely lunch pool side. Our massage was amazing! My therapist was Carl, I highly recommend him. The spa was delightful, very relaxing. When our room was ready, Lauren had our bags delivered to our room, and we had a beautiful fruit and cheese platter and a bottle of wine to celebrate our special day. Lauren took the time to make reservations for us at The Chapman where we had a wonderful dinner. When we came back from dinner, we had a lovely turn down service, chocolates on our bed, and chocolate covered strawberries. It was a beautiful evening. Thank you to the staff at the Alfond for a wonderful anniversary.

O serviço de valet custa US$ 35 por noite, porém o carro é estacionado na rua, em frente ao hotel — seria interessante se oferecessem uma estrutura mais condizente com o valor cobrado.
