• Mervin (10/5): Excellent value! - Lovely accommodation, close to the ocean with great views. The hosts were excellent, catering to every need. The common kitchen well stocked with fresh fruit and good coffee. The breakfast was incredible and made to order. Can’t say enough about this place.

• Rebecca (10/5): - Lovely little B&B. We only stayed one night, but Nu Cha Ree was an amazing hostess, generous with her time and smiles and freshly cooked breakfast. In a quiet neighbourhood with ocean access just across the road, in easy driving distance to the BC ferries.

It was clean and was within walking distance to the Doc Lewis park where the festival was located. There is a beach and a walking trail located directly in front of the home. I would stay here again.

She cooked an amazing breakfast and we were on our way with a great nights sleep and full bellies. Definitely a great choice if you are staying in the Chemainus area.

The home is directly across from a small beach so we sat there for awhile then went to a bigger beach in town to watch the sunset. It was a good location part-way on our trip from Victoria to Ucluelet & Tofino. The room and bathroom were lovely and spacious and we had access to a comfortable sitting room overlooking the water. We had the use of the kitchen in the evening and tea and coffee were available. The hostess greeted us warmly as soon as we pulled in and chatted with us for awhile (which we like) and offered us beverages on our arrival. The host (husband) was not around as his wife indicated that he was not good at what was necessary for hospitality so she did not "allow" him to meet guests. It was his home as well and we would have liked to thank him.

• David (10/5): This is, without exaggeration, the best experience I have had with hospitality in years. - The host is a lovely woman who greeted us warmly in the evening and truly made us feel like we were at HOME. What a rare experience, sadly, with travel these days. This was hospitality at its best. One small example: we arrived just after 9pm - the ferry schedule dictating our arrival time - and we kept in touch with the hosts as a result. We were were greeted with genuine warmth and an offer of tea and a very organized approach to choosing our breakfast. And our room was beautiful: amazing mattress, beautifully appointed, impeccably clean. As I said, we felt at home and I would have been happy to stay the month! Nothing was missing ... at all. What an unusual change..I am getting very frustrated by travel shortfalls more and more. Eagle Rock lacked nothing. Nothing at all. Astonishing but so appreciated. This place sets the bar.

Nice to have breakfast included. we had an easy time parking, more difficult in the summer when people use the end-of-road to access the beach. On a steep hill, so a few flights of stairs to get inside to your room, but very nice once you are there.

• Gayle (9/5): Exceeded our expectations. - Breakfast was delicious and it was such a pleasant place to eat--a sunny room with ocean view and a beautifully set table. The set-up, with the two guest rooms having their own shared kitchen (host lives above) was more private than I expected and very nice. The location ended up being in a nice neighborhood with numerous little walkways to the ocean. It was also walking distance to a center with a restaurant and other shops. Our bed was extremely comfortable and it was so relaxing and quiet. Plus, the host was friendly and thoughtful. We loved it. I would have loved to have some lotion available.

The guest floor is very nicely decorated and meticulously clean .We enjoyed a very comfortable sleep in a comfortable bed . The BnB is in a very quiet neighborhood. In the morning having breakfast at the beautifully set dining table , overlooking the water added to the atmosphere. The breakfast at was exceptional .
• Mary (10/5): Feels like you're visiting a welcoming family member. - Breakfast was excellent and lovingly prepared with many choices. French press coffee & choice of teas on a self serve basis. Table settings were upscale. The view of trees & water from common space. Room & bed were well furnished & comfortable with open access to seating area & kitchen. This place is in a residential neighborhood & entry through garage felt a bit intrusive, but not really a drawback. There are several flights of stairs to manage so beware if that would be a problem. A wonderful hostess will carry your luggage though.

Quite a few steps to climb which might be a problem for some, however the host is extremely helpful with heavy bags!

The rooms were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. We particularly appreciated the stunning views from the living-room, which added a touch of tranquility to our stay, we definitely wanted to go back to watch the whales from her windows in the season. Breakfast was delicious homemade meals, featuring a lots of fresh fruit and nicely served too, healthy ingredients, were a perfect start to the day. The hosts’ culinary skills are truly exceptional. The location of Eagle Rock Bed and Breakfast is ideal. It offers the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion while still being conveniently close to local attractions and activities. Couldn’t have been better. Nuuh-cha-ree and Mervin are exceptional hosts. They made our stay extremely pleasant. The ONLY thing is that we are not fans of using dryer sheets (Bounce?) - i.e. the linens smelled TOO good. Otherwise, there was nothing not to like about our stay.

Our host Nucharee was adorable, kind, thoughtful and just perfect. We arrived early and were greetied with a huge smile. Nucharee explained everything and could don't be more accommodating than what she was. The place was just perfect, peaceful, so very clean, very comfortable, perfect amenities, beautiful views, I just couldn't fault it, total perfection. The town is just so lovely with some fantastic shops and had such a great community feel, the locals were just so nice when we watched a fantastic open air and free concert in the park. Everyone was just so nice. Our bed was enormous and so comfortable. There was chilled water in our room on arrival and we had a choice of dishes to choose for our breakfast. This turned out to be delicious with beautiful presentation. We were so sad just to be stopping here for one night. Due to the make up of the accommodation, basically a lovely guest lounge with beautiful views I had a wonderful time with the other guests who were just a delight and we spent a good few hours chatting. The place is just perfect and I can't fault it,
