The property had everything we needed for a short stay, including home-made oat milk. Some lovely welcoming touches. We hope to return for a longer stay next time.

- Athari (10/5): Simply a stunning view accompanied by very clean and well equipped cabins. - Our hosts were amazing, we received regular updates and communications which made our stay exceptionally easy, enjoyable and pleasant. The place is simply stunning in the morning sun rise and in the evening sunsets are just phenomenal. The facilities are exceptionally clean and well looked after. There are different forms of entertainment for kids or adults within the cabin. But the lakeview is enough to get you sit by it for hours. On a clear day the entire milky way is visible. There is a petrol station/supermarket adjacent to the place as well as some really nice restaurants and dinners 20 minutes away at Swansea which are amazing. The hole family absolutely loved the place.

- Joanne (10/5): Tranquil, spacious and comfortable - Great communication prior to arrival made checking in extremely easy. We were delighted when we walked into the cabin, which was extremely spacious and light, spotlessly clean and with a beautiful view over the lake. The beds and bedding were excellent, and kitchen and bathroom well equipped. The night sky was incredible, with no ambient light getting in the way! We had a good night's sleep in such comfortable surroundings.

- Maclean (9/5): Very relaxing and peaceful - Magnificent location and spotlessly clean. Very cosy on arrival with a fire going. Entrance through the bathroom a little tricky when someone is in there and another wants to come in from the garage. Wasn’t a big deal.

- Gwenith (10/5): WONDERFUL - We loved everything about the place ... not a human in sight but a ten minute walk down the highway and there was a pub and a general store. The environment was absolutely delightful ... looking out over a small lake with wildlife all around. We had wifi receptioin and every amenity possible as well as a comfortable bed. Natalie, our host, was friendly, interested, helpful and kind without being at all intrusive. As soon as we went in and saw how spacious it was we called Natalie and requested an extra night. The couch was too low for an old duck like me to sit on! LOL

The property owner was great with her communication and kind enough to lit the fireplace for us prior to arrival as it was a cold night. A bit remote from a close by town.

There is lots of room with 2 bedrooms and a spacious living area, the teas were very good, and cooking facilities were fine for our needs. The beds are very comfortable and the location is peaceful and quiet. A great place to unwind and relax. Thanks :) Nothing!
- Krishnan (5/5): The stay was ok. - It’s a camp style cabin. The bedding was good. The property has advertised lake view but the lake is not good. The lake surrounding are in a bush and unable to walk around and only can view. Not many ducks or Swan. The view also not that much pleasant. The kitchen utensils are not clean compared to other locations of our stay.

- Alexandr (9/5): Delightful location - Delightful location next to a private lake. Feels quite secluded and remote, yet you are 50 m from the highway and free to explore (Freycinet & Bicheno to the east, trout streams west and Lake Leake is pretty much across the road). Cabins are spacious and well maintained. Having a lunch on the grass looking out on water is amazing. BBQ area is there to use as well... Usual Aussie wildlife can be spotted at sunset or early morning. The only complaint is that the owners are very serious about minimizing waste, which goes to a bit of extreme - lack of wipes, kitchen towels etc was a bit head-scratching. People still need those things to clean up, we would simply bring our own next time...

Had to make sure no one else was coming or going out that way as no privacy if using the shower or toilet. It felt disconcerting

- Ian (7/5): Very comfortable,tranquil place to stay that touches on wilderness. Some good walks in the area. - The Location was excellent. The cabin was comfortable. The host was good and helpful, and easy to contact. We kept a good lookout and managed to see 'some' wildlife. Very tranquil in the evenings. Too many sparrow nests around the outside of the property. Quite a few droppings. The only option for heating was the fireplace. A small column heater would have helped for those who are not good lighting fires.
- Billy (7/5): Nice tranquil spot for an over nighter - Great location as a stop over point travelling across to the east coast. Open fire, full kitchen, laundry. You weren't actually allowed to walk near the lake or around the accommodation. So it was a little restrictive. There was a bbq area that was also out of bounds. There was a list of what not to do. My mother was overwhelmed.

We used Yaleena as a base and did day trips to the coast. Natalie was amazing and stoked the fire for us when we asked and we came back to a beautiful warm cottage. I can’t think of anything that I would want to change.

- Tracey (6/5): A lovely setting but stay was spoiled due to midges and subsequent bites received! - The location was lovely, being on the lake was fabulous, seeing the swans, ducks and other birds was very calming and peaceful and the garage, a short walk along the road was very handy and the owner was lovely and helpful. As it got dark, the kitchen and dining area was filled with hundreds of midges which there was no escape from, as there was no spray in the property for any relief from them. When we woke in the morning some were still flying around and the kitchen surfaces and floor were covered in dead midges which we had to clean up before we could have a coffee. I have repeatedly spoken to and emailed the owner of the property for an invoice for our stay, but as yet, I am still waiting for this invoice a month later. In my opinion, this lack of response is not good enough.

I had a text message the day prior to arrival with directions etc. Very helpful, eg hints on where to go for dinner if you didn't want to cook! The location is peaceful and in keeping with my personal philosophy on the environment. Nothing!

- Ho (4/5): - The house was not ready to be stayed in for five people! On the staying night, water (including toilet water and tap water) and tissue facial paper had already run out of supply. Also, wifi cannot be connected at all. And one of the room light was not working and kept blinking. The house does not worth the price it cost totally. My friends and I were really disappointed that we think some sort of compensation or refund should be provided but in vain after contacting Expedia. Bad experience ever in Expedia!
