• John (9/5): Lotte's Cottage is a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay for a holiday in Broken Hill. - The cottage is centrally located, less than a thirty-minute from central Broken Hill and the train station. Coles supermarket is a five-minute walk. It was clean and beautifully presented throughout, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, quality bath linen and attractive artworks. Even though it is located on a main road, any traffic noise is virtually inaudible. Street parking in front of the cottage was convenient. Erica is a delightful hostess and made us feel very welcome. There was little to fault with this property.

Plenty of room for five adults. Probably the lounges could be a bit higher off the ground not a complaint just an observation.

• Ken (10/5): This is a perfect place to stay for a couple of days or longer with everything you need or want. - Thanks to our hosts Erica & Ken, we couldn’t have wished for a more pleasant and perfect place to stay. My friends and I were blown away by how good this was. The location is within close walking distance of the city centre and a Cole’s supermarket just around the corner for all you needs at the cottage so you can self cater or walk into the city for a meal as we had flown in. Walking was fine and a good way to look around at the historic sites along the way. The tourist information centre is a short walk towards the city centre with a great coffee shop and all the information and tours you could want. There was nothing that I could see to dislike.

• Melissa (10/5): Beautiful well equipped cottage in an excellent location, spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds - Beautifully styled cottage with comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms, fully equipped with everything needed in a home away from home. We loved being met by the host Erica and shown through Lotte’s. The personal touches such as freshly squeezed orange juice and oranges from the garden were so lovely. Lotte’s is the perfect location, in walking distance to the main town centre and shops including Coles supermarket. We would be happy to stay again and absolutely recommend anyone to stay at Lotte’s Cottage.
• Wilcher (8/5): Great - I think the condensation that is being experienced is not from the shower, but the dryer. We used the dryer and it condensed up the kitchen. We closed the sliding doors to the lounge and then opened the back French door and the condensation stopped.

• Ian (5/5): The experience of staying in the cottage could have been much better through the provision of wifi, no restrictions to t - Tastefully furnished and clean and close to supermarket No wi fi, no smart TV, no fly wire so couldn’t ventilate the house, dingy interior with few windows, no laundry detergent provided, very loud and aggressive dog next door where loud barking spoilt our sleep and rest. Complicated, unclear and misleading arrangement when booking as expected the full use of the cottage only to find the owner stating that only one of the three bedrooms was available for use. This created an atmosphere of meanness and parsimony that was further reinforced through the lack of wifi. The lack of wifi and full use of the cottage does not appear to be warranted given the price of the cottage.

• Graeme (10/5): LOTTE'S COTTAGE - LOVE IT A LOT! - My wife and I just spent 3 nights at Lotte's Cottage (December 2015), and from the moment we arrived - in 42 degree temperature - and were welcomed into the air conditioned cottage by Ken, through to the moment we left 3 days later, we could not have been happier with everything about the cottage. It is exactly as it looks in the pictures (perhaps even better), and provided an extremely comfortable, and well located base for exploring Broken Hill and surrounds. Sure I could be picky and say the shower was a bit temperamental, or the toilet seat wouldn't stay up!? But I've experienced similar at 5 star hotel accommodation! And I think that illustrates the quality of this cottage, when it's all I can find fault with. Erica visited to welcome us after finishing work on our first evening, and provided some nice insight into the history of the cottage. Both she and Ken were accessible next door if we needed them - which wasn't the case. I can certainly recommend Lotte's Cottage to any visitor to Broken Hill. With three well equipped bedrooms there's plenty of room for a family.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Character cottage in a character town - Lotte's Cottage has all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. It is close to shops and the information centre. One slight draw back is the traffic noise from the passing cars.
