- Daniel (10/5): Outstanding hospitality - This is an outstanding place to stay. The location is perfect for exploring the Perth Hills, established in a picturesque valley where orchards and vineyards abound. We stayed in the coach House which is a cute little cottage with sufficient home comforts as well as a large spa bath. Little hospitality touches like a carafe of port to warm one as a pre-dinner drink, the welcome platter of assorted cheeses and nibbles, the lighting of a fire in the dining room to make the breakfast room cosy are a few examples of thoughtfulness of hosts Richard and Caroline. Comfort plus thoughtful hospitality equals 10/10

- Steve (10/5): Perfect hills getaway - My wife and I enjoyed our relaxing weekend stay at Fawkes House. The owners Carolyn and Richard made us feel welcome and immediately at home. We stayed in 'the cottage', a federation style self-contained building with all the appointments, including a deep bathtub. It was wonderful waking up refreshed to the sounds of cockatoos in the forest. Carolyn prepared a delicious breakfast for us, made with locally sourced ingredients. We left feeling completely relaxed and are looking forward to our next stay at Fawkes House.

- C (10/5): Wonderful Retreat in the Hills - I had a wonderful and relaxing break here. I left my husband at home with the kids and had a night to myself. It was only overnight and not far from where I live, but I felt like I had been on holiday to somewhere completely different. The owners were wonderfully kind, and it was marvelous to wake up in the morning and hear the birds singing. I needed to de-stress and be able to relax and this was just the place to do it. I came away feeling as refreshed as if I had been away for a week. I will definitely be staying here again!
