Grant (6/5): Serviceable and clean with loads of room for a family of 6 or 2 smaller families. - The unit was clean, bathroom modern, beds large and comfortable. Super quiet and serene with lovely outlook to the bush from the bedrooms. Bedrooms large, beds comfortable and loads of space in the living area for families. Bush walk very close. When not being used for a conference it would be nice if the conference tables, whiteboard and projector screen were stored elsewhere so it feels a bit more like accommodation and not an office. The kitchen was small and layout strange but serviceable. Bathroom was tiny for the number of guests it can host, lots of time wasted waiting to use the shower or toilet. Only hanging for clothes was a hook on the back of the door, would rather have a queen bed and some sort of wardrobe than a king bed. And a full length mirror in each of the bedrooms would be handy. Not that we were there to watch TV but many channels were scratchy and unwatchable due to lagging which is strange considering it is right next to a communication tower. Updating the 80's furniture in the living area to something a bit more eco-retreat-ish would really elevate the unit.

Thankfully I like the heat. It would have been helpful to understand the 'set-up' before booking as I felt I was staying in a share-house.

The shared large kitchen for only 4 other rooms was so fully equipped when we did cook. The rooms with ensuites are so comfortable. So private. The pool/spa area and deck are amazing. Best views in town being so high up! And then the outdoor fireplace was just amazing! Have travelled a lot. I rate this as one of the very best! We extended our stay as it was so good. I liked everything. Nothing negative at all.

Up the gravel road to the end. Keys on instructions were easy to collect. The cleaner was nice and did a through clean. Walking tracks, kitchen. Paper thin walls, you can hear everything. The birds in the middle of the nice who make the noise of a woman screaming. Or maybe all you people who want to visit a haunted house should visit this one! Lots of noises and bumbs in the night. Go explore!

Went to other Rainfirest Summit B & B and up and down Riad looking foraccommodation from address given by Booking.com. Eventually found it but up a gravel Riad. Needs a sign at bottom of Riad.

We stayed a couple nights and our towels remained damp as there was no heat or sun out. But other than than, we loved our stay. Definitely recommend.

David (6/5): - stayed in the studio apartment, no curtains or blinds in the kitchen area off which is the bathroom. To travel between the bed to the bathroom there is no privacy, and this is ground level and the BBQ area and shared cloths line is right there. King bed is 2 singles pushed together with no topper. Aircon has no controller, it is set and you push a button on the unit to turn on with no way to adjust the temperature. very quiet location, a bit exposed at night, with not much lighting at entry door which is from a yard.

Everything we required to cook was present, would have loved to have the opportunity to use the spa but previous commitments prevented us from doing so. It was such a beautiful looking place and the views were breathtaking. Had booked a triple room with a double and a single bed for my daughter and I, was then told I had an upgrade to where we both had single beds. Being 6 foot 3 is not the most suited for a single bed. From 4am there were some extremely loud and strange noises coming from all around the place which made sleeping even more difficult.

It was too small, no fridge, No hanging space. Obviously set up for back packers, not people in their 70s. Thankfully Paula changed us to the Blue Gum B & B. Top marks to Paula. My feedback is for the Blue Gum. Pantry had no ensuite. Communal fridge and kitchen. Pantry : bathroom in another room , the size of a broom cupboard. The Summit had spectacular views. The pantry room is well-named. Just a double decker bed and a fan. Ladder to the top bunk.

Inspirational house plan and design. Let down by absolutely terrible beds. Solid, could feel the edges of steel. Was 2 singles pushed together, which didnt want to stay together. Extremely uncomfortable and not practical. A shame because it ruins an otherwise great experience. Has no Aircon, but it doesnt really need it through its design.
Rick (6/5): Dissapointed - Average stay. Tv didnt work, flat batteries in remote. Sons bed sheet was dirty. Didnt look like a damp cloth used in bedroom. Very dusty, mirror was very dusty. Smelled of mould when we opened door. Toaster was full of crumbs. Not sure when this was last cleaned. Only one towel per person and no pool towel. No spare bin bags. Tried to call office at 4.30pm but just got message. The web page suggested nice views, only for some. Ours was a blank wall from the verandah or a telstra tower. The front doors were all glass and looked straight at the bunk beds. No curtain or blind for privacy.

Elspeth (5/5): Nice location has great potential - The location was amazing and quiet The place was generally clean - dusty in lounge area The bed was very hard No air conditioner in bedroom when there was a heat wave . Expected more for a place in North Queensland re air conditioner Air con in lounge didn’t work - told to turn the button on under the air conditioner ok if I was 7ft tall No remote of TV in bedroom - replaced the next day Bedroom TV is very small difficult to see when in bed All external doors to deck / patio very difficult to open partner had to open them with difficulty Other people just didn’t bother and used the back door to walk around . Due to no air conditioning needed to open doors for a breeze while sitting in the lounge
