Terri (8/5): - It was clean. The staff is wonderful and helped us with anything I asked. The only thing about our room was our door was hard to close and open, but that was the only thing. We stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 years ago, this hotel really updated the property.

We will stay here again during the winter months because we did miss not having a pool during the month of June. Easy check in (less than 5 min) check out 30 seconds.

She even did a check-in courtesy call to make sure we were still staying before we checked in. The Red Roof Inn was nicely renovated and very clean. It was a 2 night stay and we asked housekeeping to refresh our room. They did an excellent job! The mattresses even bed bug protection liners. Never saw a single bug in our room. At larger corporate hotels, I’ve seen ants and roaches. At this Red Roof Inn; not a one was seen in our room. So CLEAN! It was a very nice stay at a great price

Kayti (2/5): - We have stayed here several times and it hasn't been this dirty. We were told the bottom floor was sold out. Found out later that is not the case - there was water leaking EVERYWHERE. The property clerk had both doors locked when we arrived and didn't answer the phone. Also, our room didn't have a fire alarm - we could see where it was supposed to be, with the wires hanging out of the wall. Only 2 of the 4 light bulbs at sink/vanity area were working. We WILL NOT be staying here again.

The bed was like sleeping on a bail of hay there was roaches crawling out of face bowl, the heater switch was broken and rattled all night and there was no lighting except for the bath area. If it had not been late I would have lef!! I spoke to the front when I was leaving and I was told all beds were the same and I’m sorry you had a bad night. NEVER AGAIN

I was traveling with babies so I tried to heat up a bottle in the microwave and the power went out but it didn’t take them long to turn it back on. Overall it’s not a bad place to stay but maybe not ideal for a family with little ones.
Wesley (2/5): - Staff was very friendly and price was adequate. Unfortunately there were german cockroaches in and around my room. It felt like my skin was crawling all night and i was concerned my luggage would bring them home to my house after the trip. Microwave had leftover food stuffs in it from a previous traveler and I cant help but wonder if that contributed to the infestation. Adults, juveniles, and fresh hatched roaches are indicative of an active infestation and I wouldnt recommend staying here unless something is done to rid the property of them. They are difficult to get rid of if you accidentally bring one home with you. Beware. (Also the beds were uncomfortable)

Michael (10/5): - So I’m a trucker, so I always different places. This motel has parking for big rigs, so I was hesitant about saying there, because the outside is not eye pleasing. Just looked outdated and old, but I was blown away when I opened the door to the room! The room looks great all updated, very nice, and a huge room! The bed and pillows was just ok, they could use some updating. But all in all the room was good, it was quiet. Also there are lots of eating places around, I went to the restaurant that was right beside the motel and it was great!

I was there from July 10th until 14th and they worked with me day to day on staying as had no idea when would be getting power back. Verified traveler (2/5): ROACHES!!!!!! - ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES so sad because the room was like brand new as in recently remodeled. Extremely clean, and smelled brand new. However after we were settled in a few hours roaches just came out from everywhere. They were crawling on our luggage and most of all on the bed. Several times I had them crawling on my arm while trying to to sleep. Gross gross gross. So disappointing when it was such a clean room.

We never got replacement towels, coffee, and they never came in to clean while we were gone, etc. Don't know how this place gets a good rating anywhere. It was horrible and we will never be back.
othonielg2024 (4/5): Reserving rooms there means nothing to them - I never write reviews but I need to on this one I reserved 2- rooms 2 nights ,when I come back from work for the 2nd night 1 of my rooms was rented out and the other room locked out no access . I left drinks in the fridge in the room they rented out according cleaning crew nothing was in the fridge and they demanded I pay the day to get my luggage back from the room locked out of since I was not happy to stay the next night without my drinks ….reserving rooms there means nothing to them

When we pulled the bed out the mattress was in the worst condition! Stains and rips all over it there was no way I was going to allow my child sleep on that. The in room refrigerator did not work at all and the bed was as hard as a brick. We will not be staying here in the future when we travel to Buffalo again. Please fix the issues for future families who are traveling.
speek201 (2/5): Stay Away! - I rarely leave reviews, I stay in hotels about 50 nights each year and this experience was so awful I feel an obligation to warn others. It was by far the WORST, dirtiest, and nonresponsive hotel that I have ever encountered. Upon arrival, we entered a lobby that had a sign indicating it was under renovation---and I dismissed the mess due to that. I got the keys for three rooms and left the other at the desk for my coworker. When I got to my room, I discovered part of the floor torn up and (more of a concern) the extra lock on the door broken off. I asked for another room, but I am handicapped and there were no downstairs rooms available and, as I already knew, no elevator. The male students I was traveling with found a full beer can in their room and a slightly musty smell--but we decided it was good enough for one night. Then when my female students arrived with my coworker, the serious problems began. They got the keys from me for the room beside me, and we discovered dirty handprints on the sheets. Meanwhile, my coworker discovered that his room had bodily fluids on the sheets. We got keys for new rooms--one of those had cigarette ash spread throughout and the other had what looked like blood on the sheets. At this point, the hotel worker told us that there were no other available rooms. I did not feel that I could ask people to stay in these conditions and relocated them to an alternative hotel. My coworker informed the desk that we were vacating the two rooms and moving to another hotel. Of course, it was very late, but he was left with the impression that we would be refunded. In the morning, the worker informed me that he couldn’t do anything about refunding and the manager was not there. He gave me the manager’s cell and over the course of the next 48 hours, I texted and called the number and got absolutely no response. On Monday, I called teh hotel and after a short wait, the manager answered. He confirmed that the number I had was indeed his number and said nothing went through because he was out of town. Of course, maybe he was out of the country or something, but he should have called me as soon as he reentered. His answer was that he could not refund due to the fact that this happened so late and so other customers could not use those rooms. Keep in mind, that the property was (as it should be) practically empty. This was my first experience with Red Roof and I assure you it will be my last. I only reserved there because there were no Marriott properties; however, I will drive further to avoid a nightmare like this hotel and its management.

The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are lovely. There are loads of places to grab quick bite nearby, and parking is plentiful and easy.
Michael (10/5): Slept like a Log - This was the best hotel we stayed by far. Great night sleep a/c was on when we entered the room and usually they are off and easy access to and from restaurants. The only thing I can complain about is there wasn't a slip mat in the shower.

I had to go to the front office to get toiletries as there was no toilet paper or wash clothes replaced for the second night. The ice machine was still broken from the last time we stayed here(should have learned my lesson from that visit). The peel and stick flooring was coming up. The bed was probably from the 80's because the springs in the mattress were poking through. This place is a dump but then again, you get what you pay for.
