- Nada (10/5): Wonderful 2nd stay at The Guesthouse. Highly recommend - 2nd time at the property, and they recalled me as a guest from 10 years ago. Perfect location, next to all the attractions, but down a quiet street. Great restaurant was a plus. Staff were polite and friendly and helpful. If I’m being picky I would say the outdoor furniture in restaurant is a little uncomfortable. Back the street and face other guests was awkward.
- Georgios (10/5): This is the first time I was happy to tick the box "exceeded my expectations". - Everything about the room was perfect--it was spacious, impeccably clean and the general ambience and design were very inviting and pleasing. Above all, though, we appreciated the staff for their professionalism and readiness, especially the front-desk staff working on the afternoon shift when we arrived (ca. 6:15 pm). When they realized that one of us had his birthday they took the time and went the extra mile to prepare a beautiful handwritten card with birthday wishes and to send it with a piece of delicious cake to the room! The breakfast was very rich in choices and of high quality. The location is perfect for walking anywhere within the inner city of Vienna. We particularly liked the coffee machine with integrated coffee beans grinder(!) and the fully-stocked mini fridge that was included in the room price.

Can’t get better location, it’s right across the street from Albertina and just a few minutes walk around the corner to the Hofburg palace, Sisi museum, .etc. lots of shopping, cafes and restaurants in the area. Note, bathroom lacks a bit of space for your toiletries, but we managed just fine.

The Guest House was perfect in every way and every detail. From the moment I arrived I knew this was where I wanted to be. Perfect…. Location, room, staff… everything. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Only one small thing. I like 2 firm pillows to sleep on.

- ROBERT (9/5): Lovely small friendly hotel in a great location. - The main positive was the very central location which allowed us to walk to most places we wanted to visit in Vienna. Excellent breakfast every morning, the menu was comprehensive with quality food delivered. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A lovely surprise was the completely complimentary mini bar and also refreshed daily, 2 bottles of red and white included! The room was small, but very modern and clean. This is a very popular place for breakfast and drinks/ meals in the evening so booking a table is essential, not sure guests get any preference so booking a table early.

All items in the room minibar are free to consume and replenished daily. We enjoyed having a Jura coffee maker in the room. The only thing that we didn’t like was not having a nightlight in the toilet room. That could be easily fixed by placing a small battery operated light on the wall in that room. We also liked having a good restaurant on the premises.

Noi viaggiavamo in compagnia del nostro cagnolino e sono stati veramente gentili nel far trovare al nostro arrivo cuccia,ciotola e premietti nelle nostra bella stanza e senza nessun costo aggiuntivo (incredibile!). Davanti all’hotel c’è un parco piccolino, dove puoi far correre il tuo cane liberamente e vi garantisco che è un lusso. Visto che nei parchi difficilmente i cani possono entrare. Anche se devo ammettere che sparse nella città ci sono varie aree dedicate ai nostri cagnolini. Il mini bar gratuito , acqua , coca cola, aranciata, succhi di frutta e vino sempre disponibili. Lo staff gentile. Il ristorante sempre affollato , sia di giorno che di sera. Ovviamente abbiamo apprezzato anche noi la loro cucina..colazione super! Cena fantastica. Prenotate sempre. Forse una cosa c’è . Non mi è piaciuto il comportamento di uno dei camerieri, in quanto pur avendo riservato la sera prima un determinato tavolo al maitre di sala. Il cameriere della mattina , pur essendoci scritto RISERVATO ed apparecchiato per Due, ha detto che non poteva darci quel tavolo perché era per 5 persone . Noi senza parole. Mi ha dato molto fastidio. Peccato perché il Maitre di Sala era veramente una persona professionale. Mentre il cameriere neanche un po’. Pazienza

- HHM95 (10/5): Perfect location with fabulous rooms - The Guesthouse Vienna delivers that perfect mix of location, style and ease. You are right in the heart of everything, yet it never feels overwhelming—just beautifully positioned. We walked to most of the restaurants we dined at and loved strolling home in the evening. The service is excellent, with a front-of-house team that is warm, sharp and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. It’s a popular spot for locals and has a great vibe throughout the day. But the real highlight? The freedom to grab a bottle of wine from your room and head downstairs to drink it at their brilliant curbside restaurant because, quite frankly, everything tastes better when you are sitting in Vienna pretending you live there. Effortless, stylish and just the right amount of fun. We were also travelling with our elderly uncle and aunt, and they loved it too.

Besonders beeindruckt haben uns die Liebe zum Detail, der individuelle Service und die echte Herzlichkeit, mit der man hier empfangen wird. Die Unterstützung bei der Organisation von Blumen sowie die lieben, persönlichen Glückwünsche haben unserem Aufenthalt eine ganz besondere Note verliehen. Our room had a huge bathroom, which is great but...if you value your privacy while taking a shower forget about it! You can see right inside the shower from the room. The room which has the potty needs a night light.

I didn't hit the mini bar but if you did everything was complimentary and refilled daily which is different from most places. The breakfast was quite expensive and no buffet so you had to take what they gave you. It was surprisingly ordinary. One small thing which surprised me - in the room there was no usb charging point. Reception lent me an adaptor plug so no problem but it seemed a bit strange for such a modern room.

Room Temperature with air conditioning not pleasant. Electric devices were tricky to use (coffee machine and air conditioning button). Breakfast was not something special.

Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich freundliche, aufmerksame und kompetente Personal. Egal in welchem Bereich – der Service wird hier grossgeschrieben. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt, und selbst kleinere Anliegen wurden sofort und effizient gelöst. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an bestens aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und äusserst ruhig – selbst bei geöffnetem Fenster. Die Schallisolierung sowie die Klimaanlage funktionieren hervorragend. Auch die Sauberkeit ist makellos, die Reinigung erfolgt regelmässig und äusserst gründlich. Das Badezimmer überzeugt mit viel Platz und ausgezeichnetem Wasserdruck. Es gibt ausreichend Stauraum, sogar ein Safe mit Platz für mehrere Laptops. Die inkludierte Minibar mit hochwertigen Getränken, darunter auch guter Rotwein, ist ein weiteres Plus. Auch Details wie die exzellente Kaffeemaschine (Jura) tragen zum gehobenen Gesamteindruck bei. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Brasserie. Das Essen – egal ob Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen – ist durchweg hervorragend. Das À-la-carte-Frühstück bietet eine grosse Auswahl und überzeugt durch Qualität und Frische. Besonders angenehm ist, dass individuell bestellt wird – ohne Buffet-Trubel. Auch der Zimmerservice funktioniert einwandfrei und ist den ganzen Tag bis spät abends verfügbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Es wäre wünschenswert, die transparente Badezimmertür durch eine blickdichte Tür zu ersetzen, die sich vollständig schliessen lässt.

Great service. We chose room without a view for a better price. Light came through but it faces a wall. Front facing rooms have great view of a small city park, the opera house and museums

- Karin (10/5): Romantisches Innenstadt Hotel - Wir waren schon öfter im The Guesthouse Vienna und wir sind jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und großzügig. Wir liebe es am großen Fenster zu sitzen und ein Glas Wein zu trinken. Wir können nichts negatives sagen.
- SuttonElliott24 (10/5): A great hotel in a fantastic location - We enjoyed a lovely 5 night stay at The Guesthouse. Our room was quiet, comfortable and exceptionally clean. We appreciated having a sofa, rather than having to sit on the bed. The complimentary mini bar was a bonus too! The hotel is in a fantastic location, with easy access to so many of the sights, including the Opera and the Albertina, as well as the underground and hop on hop off bus stop. There are lots of excellent restaurants very close by The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We didn’t see the housekeeping staff but they did a great job!
