Guest Reviews
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional in every way. Highly recommend - We have just spent 3 nights in a wonderful peaceful haven. Everything about our stay has been perfection. Ian and Karen have been amazing hosts and are helped by a great team. The room was spotless and fresh, very comfortable bed and pillows. The view outside onto the field of sheep and rabbits was a pleasure to watch. The lambs were playful and the guinea fowl are so comical. The food was delicious, a highly talented chef. The accommodation, food and drinks are all value for money. The location is perfect for trips to the coast. We highly recommend a stay here and are looking forward to our return in July. There wasn't anything not to like, it was perfect.

Ristorante molto piacevole, in ambiente rilassato, piccolo e ben curato, ottimo cibo e servizio. Buona colazione. Gli Host sono gentilissimi e attenti a soddisfare le necessitĂ degli ospiti.
- Gillian (9/5): Very comfortable. - We had a lovely room that was very spacious, comfortable and quiet Freshly squeezed orange juice rather than from concentrate. We had a room with a kitchenette and a small microwave would have been a bonus with some cleaning materials for the kitchen area like washing up liquid etc.
- Claire (9/5): A quality place with good views - Lovely location with great views. Room was very clean with good attention to detail. Everything catered for. Parking was good as well as general quiet location. Breakfast was very good. Felt the mattress on the bed was a little uncomfortable as quite hard. A good choice and the waitresses efficient On arrival, perhaps the room was a slight disappointment ,Towel rail didn't heat up ,the wine glasses were in need of a clean before we could use them but the fridge, although good to have had milk provided but a rusty screw top and one chocolate oddly! Just attention to detail

Nice to have such a large room with kitchen area and outside seating. Breakfast very nice. Shower amazing. Mattress and pillows very hard but not everyone will complain about that.
- Mike Morley (9/5): -
- Gail (8/5): Very good - The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and the opportunity to sit outside on the patio is great. The quiet location with wildlife add to the really amazing experience The B&B has a very restricted breakfast menu, and the offer of "specials" never materialised over the 4 mornings and other guests commented there are never specials based on previous visits

- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (8/5): Pleasant stay, attentive staff, great food, good tea tray and shower facilities with toiletries.. - Breakfast was perfect, fresh, well cooked and good ingredients. The view onto the field of rabbits and the amusing Guinea fowl was a pleasant change of scenery. Fridge to store drinks and snacks. Short drive to local town. Nice and relaxing, especially when the sun shines. Scenic 40 minute drive to Whitby. Good choice tea tray with biscuits. Bath robes in the cupboard and clothes storage. Matress on the bed was not to our comfort level, maybe staff could try it out just to see. A few cobwebs and dust spiders but that could purely be to do with location and I know staff would have vacuumed them had we requested. Could do with socket by mirror if possible.
- Angelika (9/5): Very nice - Very lovely room with outside sitting area, nice countryside setting, very clean and comfortable, great breakfast; Restaurant closed Mo&Tue but no shortage of dining choices at nearby Helmsley. Would not hesitate to book again. Nothing

- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Mcguinness (10/5): First class in all aspects, you must try it. - Breakfast was first class, fruit juice, fruit, full English, toast and coffee all very good. Smoked Salmon and eggs also provided but we did no try, nice touch! Room was large with a good sized "Wet room" the shower was notable with lots of hot water, towels largish and good quality. Beds though single were very combatable with adequate sized duvet covers and lots of cushions/pillows. Added benefit was large "French Windows" looking out across open fields giving a very spacious feel to the whole room. The heat was just right not too hot but certainly combatable. Dinner was good, interesting menu well cooked and served, wine list a little restricted but the Shiraz I chose from the Bin End collection was very good. Cost of the meal for two including drinks was very reasonable. This is a lot longer review than I usually do, because I think the location disserves it. We will most defiantly stay again in the near future. Well done all keep up the good work. All aspects good or excellent.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Room was excellent as was the food
- Irene (10/5): We will return again. - Brickfield Farm is very welcoming B & B set in a beautiful scenic area and very relaxing. The rooms are exceptionally decorated & very comfortable. The breakfast are outstanding with a wonderful menu. Do make a reservation at the Feather & Beak restaurant you wonât be disappointed. Itâs outstanding. 5 stars all around. Nothing, we like it as it is, Ian & Karen work hard along with all the staff to make sure you have an exceptional time.
